Saturday News
The British Parliament voted down Syria action as U.S. presses ahead with strike plans possibly in the future. This was a setback for the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government of Prime Minister David Cameron and the Obama administration. The Britain MPs voted down a government attempt to secure agreement in principle for military intervention in Syria. Cameron is deeply wounded politically now. His future as Conservative Party leader is uncertain. The White House and its European allies want a drive to strike against Syria. Now, we see that their justifications have been discredited. Much of their justifications for a military strike against Syria have been hatched by the CIA, MI5, the Mossad, and other intelligence agencies. The chemical attack in Ghouta was tragic and evil. We see that it could be most likely carried out by the U.S. backed insurgents as a casus belli or the opportunity to activate a plan for regime change in Syria. This can be used to isolate Iran and secure U.S. hegemony over the oil resources in the Middle East. On Thursday, the White House indicated that it planned to push ahead with a bombing campaign regardless. The New York Times reported, that: “administration officials made clear that the eroding support would not deter Mr. Obama in deciding to go ahead with a strike… all indications suggest that a strike could occur soon after United Nations investigators charged with scrutinizing the Aug. 21 attack leave the country. They are scheduled to depart Damascus on Saturday.” National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said, “President Obama’s decision-making will be guided by what is in the best interests of the United States. He believes that there are core interests at stake for the United States and that countries that violate international norms regarding chemical weapons need to be held accountable.” It is warmongering rhetoric to me. Now, the U.S. military has moved a fifth destroyer to the Mediterranean Sea. They have cruise missiles that would be used in any attack on Syria. The United States could go to strike Syria in defiance of the vote in the British Parliament, overwhelming popular opposition in Britain, the United States, and throughout the world. Military strikes can lead into a regional and even global conflict. Iran has already threatened to respond by attacking Israel. Russia has also sent its own warships to the Mediterranean Sea. The Cameron government has been forced to back down from its plan to make yesterday's recalled vote in parliament an explicit sanctioning of military action. The opposition Labour Party had decided to refuse to back a military assault before the United Nations Security Council had heard back from chemical weapon inspectors in Syria (and has been allowed to vote on their findings). Some Conservatives have rebelled against a military strike too. Cameron recalled parliament yesterday, as the UN Security Council met to vote on a UK resolution “authorising all necessary measures to protect civilians” in Syria, with the intention of placing maximum pressure on Russia and China—or at least contrasting a positive vote for intervention by parliament with their having blocked any UN action. In the event, neither Britain’s UN Security Council resolution nor the parliamentary vote went in Cameron’s favor. There has been no conclusive evidence to substantiate British and U.S. government claims that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was responsible for a poison gas attack in Ghouta. Cameron was floundered by saying that Assad was totally guilty for the chemical attack in Damascus and in the next breath saying that “there is no 100 percent certainty about who is responsible.” Ultimately, the government lost by 285 votes to 272. An amendment moved by Labour placing a number of conditions to be met before any military intervention was defeated, 332 votes to 220, but in the end it was a Conservative revolt that defeated the government. Cameron had to concede that the British people mostly doesn't want the UK to execute military action against Syria. Labour wants an UN investigation before any action comes. Many government officials have criticized Labour leaders for not taking a fascist stand of immediately striking Syria. Opinion polls show estimates ranging from just six to 11 percent in support of missile strikes on Syria. With the toxic political legacy of Iraq hanging over them like the sword of Damocles, both Labour and the Conservative rebels were unable to sign off on military action on the basis of yet another transparent concoction of lies. A military strike in Syria can expand a regional war. Dissident Conservatives do not want to alienate Russia and China. Some British MPs believe that such a strike will strengthen al-Qaeda. The British Joint Intelligence Committee and the legal advice of Attorney General Dominic Grieve have used similar lies that tried to justify the Iraq War. So, we know that unwarranted war mongering is evil. We should fight for peace and real reconciliation in Syria without unjustified strikes at all. We need a political solution at the end of the day.
Ted Nugent is a reactionary extremist. He has said racist and sexist words for years. He is an ally of Alex Jones. Enough Said. Now, he recently said that the old lie that the Great Society was more responsible for the destruction to Black America than slavery and the KKK. He is a liar since slavery murdered and ruined the lives of millions of black human beings. He is still a board member of the National Rifle Association. The NRA Board membership are filled with reactionaries and other bigots. He is a disgrace to say the least. He said those sick words in the midst of the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. Reactionaries always attack the federal programs that were initiated via President Lyndon Johnson. Johnson declared a war on poverty. This plan wanted to reduce poverty and reduce the poor among the elderly as well. Nugent lied and said that the largely money spent on the Great Society was largely waste. The Great Society initiative included Medicare, Medicaid, and other anti-poverty programs. These programs included significant and lasting reductions in poverty. As Washington Post reporter Dylan Matthews noted, "...the best evidence indicates that the War on Poverty made a real and lasting difference." We know the large decrease in the poverty rate in the 1960's and part of it was achieved after the War on Poverty was announced in 1964 including federal housing spending. In 1964, the poverty rate was 19 percent. Ten years later, it was 11.2 percent, and it has not gone above 15.2 percent any year since then. Furthermore, Medicare was responsible for raising the insurance coverage rate of the elderly from 56 percent in 1963 to 97 percent by 1970. This doesn't mean that both parties are perfect, but it does mean that the social safety net has helped millions of Americans for decades. Nugent continues the lie that the Democratic Party is a modern slave master to low income Americans. He made the racist slander that the liberal Democratic politicians trained the citizens of Detroit to cheat and refuse to be productive. This racist ignores the fact that deindustrialization contributed to the harm done to Detroit not black humanity collectively. Black human beings are dynamic socially and intellectually. We do not need to be trained to do anything. We can act on our own period. Nugent lies about the poor when most of the poor are not parasites, degenerates, or criminals. Most of them work hard. Being poor is never largely a choice. Being poor is a reality for numerous complex reasons. Also, many human beings receive food stamps as a means to survive not as a means to game the system. Still, even the 1960's did not address all wealth disparities, racial disparities, or criminal justice system disparities as well. We do know that most black human beings have benefited from many social programs. Even at their height, programs like AFDC/TANF never reached no more than perhaps 8 percent of black Americans at any given time (now it’s about 4 percent). Even food stamps — for which some near-poor families are also eligible, in addition to the officially poor — were never being received by more than 1 in 4 blacks at a given time (now it’s about 18 percent). Many black Americans temporarily receive social programs and these programs never inculcate some cultural dysfunction or damage to all black human beings. Likewise, most TANF recipients do not receive public housing or Section 8 housing voucher benefits. And only 17 percent of persons receiving some form of housing assistance (either public housing or Section 8 vouchers) also receive cash benefits from TANF. Even if you have housing benefits, it is not free at all, which refutes the lie that the government gives free stuff to citizens. Nothing is given for free on many occasions. Also, many welfare spending programs in places like Scandinavian countries have a very high standard of living, low poverty, strong education, and a high level of GDP. So, welfare spending never contributes to some dysfunctional culture of poverty collectively. In the States, many social programs have been radically cut from AFDC to food stamps. The deal is that austerity, deindustralization, and attacks on the black community by the system of white supremacy has harmed many black lives. Yet most Medicaid recipients are not black, and most dollars spent in the program are not spent on black people. Likewise, most black people are not on Medicaid. So to blame Medicaid for welfare dependence is obscene. Many of the Great Society programs were working until budgets were cut and the economy started to shift from manufacturing. The data is clear: in the years between 1965 and 1973, poverty rates plummeted, and especially in urban areas, by about 38 percent. Now, I’m not suggesting that the Great Society programs were the only force there — the economy was strong too — but they played a part, to be sure. By the mid 1970's, most of the innovative Great Society programs were cut or eliminated (with only cash assistance around). In U.S., in the 1950s and ‘60s, when the tax rate was much higher than it is now (both on individuals and companies), had far higher rates of investment than any country in the so-called “third world,” despite costs. Today, neoliberal actions, massive austerity, and other wicked forms of globalization have increased the economic inequality in the world. By the late 1970's, even Jimmy Carter used deregulation, refusal to pass law reform, and had a cut in the gains tax for businesses. This set the table for Reaganomics. The Bowles-Simpson is highly reactionary and not socialist despite what the reactionary say. Washington based, hugely funded foundations and special interests readily dominate the mainstream two party system in the United States of America.
We see that South Korean President Park cracked down on a left leaning party over alleged "rebellion conspiracy." The state intelligence agency arrested three officials of a minor progressive party on rare charges of conspiracy to stage a rebellion according to prosecutors. The arrests came just hours after the National Intelligence or NIS agents raided the homes and offices of Rep. Lee Seok-ki of the Unified Progressive Party (UPP) and nine key party members. The NIS put the three UPP officials including the Party's vice chairman Hong Soon-seok under an emergency arrest as prosecutors have said. “(The UPP officials) are charged with conspiracy to commit a rebellion and violating the National Security Law,” said Choi Tae-won, a senior prosecutor of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office. The criminal law bans any activity that “prepares, conspires, propagandizes or instigates a rebellion against the state.” Yet, the NIS did not seek an arrest warrant for Rep. Lee according to prosecutors. Lee's detention requires parliamentary consent as lawmakers in South Korea are immune from arrest while the National Assembly is in session. The agency is expected to seek arrest warrants for the three on Thursday to further detain for questioning they added. In South Korea, investigative agencies have to seek a detention warrant within 48 hours to detain a suspect or they must immediately release the suspect. "The NIS has long prepared an internal investigation into the case,” Choi said, declining to further comment on the detailed charges as the investigation is ongoing. The UPP members allegedly had a plan to blow up infrastructure in the country including communication networks, a district court official said (it quoted court issued warrants for the three officials). “They are facing multiple charges, such as plotting to blow up national infrastructure, forming an organization that threatens national security, praising North Korea and conspiracy to stage a rebellion,” the Suwon District Court official said. Both the prosecution office and the NIS declined to comment on the charges. The last instance of a person indicted for violating the law dates back to the 1980's. “We have not seen any case recently in which the investigative agency indicted someone on charges of conspiracy to commit a rebellion,” a legal expert said. “It is likely that (the NIS) has secured concrete evidence that can prove the charges,” the expert added. The UPP criticized the INS move. They said that the spy agency is abusing its political power instead of apologizing for allegedly meddling in last year's Presidential election. “As the truth behind the rigged election has emerged, (the presidential office) Cheong Wa Dae, faced with an unprecedented crisis, and the NIS, on the verge of collapse, are carrying out an anti-communist campaign of the Yushin era in the 21st century,” Lee Jung-hee, the chief of the UPP, said in a press conference in front of Rep. Lee’s office. The Yushin era refers to the period in the 1970s when President Park Geun-hye’s late father and former President Park Chung-hee ruled the country with an iron fist. Ruling Saenuri Party spokesman Rep. Yoo Il-ho called for a strict investigation into the allegations, saying they cause “fear beyond shock.” Rep. Bae Jae-jeuing is a spokeswoman of the main opposition Democratic Party, meanwhile voiced concern over the raid, saying it will be watched closely. Senior Presidential press secretary Lee Jung-hyun told reporters he learned of the raid on the new. “If true, (the allegations are) truly astonishing,” he said. “I haven’t yet heard of the president’s reaction but given the seriousness of the issue, she is likely to have been briefed on it.”
Now, we know that economic inequality is the policy of the establishment. The debt ceiling and other debates are important in our history. We have trillions of dollars sent to Wall Street. There are cuts to programs, which benefit working human beings. Many Republicans reject any discussion of tax increases on the super-rich. Some Democrats love austerity and love war mongering, so both parties have members who are in unison. Wall Street and others have crashed the economy. The government bailed out the bankers to the tune of trillions of dollars and austerity will be enforced on working people. The corporate elite are allied with the government and many in the government have advanced economic inequality and a neoliberal economic agenda. That means that policies are executed to be benefited on behalf of the rich and capital. The richest 0.01 percent of the population lives in a world that is increasingly disconnected from the rest of the population (from the merely wealthy on down to the poorest). When including public and private benefits in calculations, the after-tax income of the richest 1 percent of the population increased 256 percent between 1979 and 2006. According to Hacker and Pierson skills and education levels in the United States aren’t significantly different from those in other advanced capitalist countries. The U.S. economy is actually less exposed to the global economy than are many European economies. Yet U.S. income inequality is far more severe than that in Europe or Japan. So after dispatching the “usual suspects,” they end up at their quarry: U.S. government policy. They find that the U.S. government has shifted more reactionary in its economic policies since 1968. The New Deal coalition was broken up during the 1968 election. This was when the Republican Richard Nixon was brought to power as President. Nixon grew domestic spending (yet, he violated human rights against the heroic Black Panthers and did other evil political actions) and deregulation came under Carter including Reagan. Hacker and Pierson said that in the late 1970's and the 1980's, Big Business used politics as a means to fight unions and seek more power in Washington (via PACs, lobbies, and campaign contributions). This reactionary turn in American politics is exemplified in the health care debate. During the 2009 health care battle in Congress, the main liberal lobbies in Washington formed Health Care for America Now (HCAN) to lobby for the Obama health care proposal. HCAN wanted a corporate friendly plan and they eliminated voice for genuine universal, single payer health care to exist to its left. The result is a corporate friendly healthcare law. Only in mass struggle, confronting the system, and forming independence from the status quo can we see real, revolutionary political changes in America indeed.
I find it interesting that Cornell West seeks heavily not to uplift black humanity a lot. Recently, he said that Al Sharpton (who is an establishment Democrat and a reformist) is the bonafide House Negro of the Obama plantation. To a lot of Brothers and Sisters, those are words are used to question a human being's blackness and they are very personal. He or Cornell West seeks to degrade black folks (that ally with the administration) in the most vile, racist terms as a means to express dissent with the administration. A lot of what he says about war, civil liberties, Wall Street criminality, and other matters are accurate and truthful. I think that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be in the front lines decrying militarism, economic exploitation, and imperialism, but he would also realize that our oppression in the system of white supremacy existed long before Barack Obama was elected as well. Accountability should come to our elected leaders, but regardless of who is in office, we still have the deal with the same system of oppression & exploitation. Also, I think that Kirsten does a great service in outlining these issues of war & other political issues, so we can be comprehensive in our outlook of reality. Not to mention that now we live in a new era of our history. I think now, we need more strategies, more plans, and more inspiration as a means to fight oppression. The constant use of the plantation reference makes a mockery of the suffering of our people. Remember, Dr. John Henrik Clarke debated him and Dr. Clarke never had to use ad hominem attacks to dissent with West. He just used his experience, wisdom, and facts. I find that many folks like West have an apprehension towards many pan-Afrikan Black power movement advocates. I love human rights, workers rights, and civil liberties like the next man, but at the end of the day, we are all fighting for pan African black liberation. Now, we have the right to disagree with the White House on many issues, but we can't just critique or march. We should be the leaders and advocate mentorships, community development, health improvement, fights against unjust laws and other solutions to build up Black Humanity. I think the Sister Trojan Pam calls them (or folks like Simmons, and others) showcase black human beings. They are funded by the establishment as a means to misdirect the black collective into loving the system instead of confronting the system as a means to create radical, revolutionary changes. The folks that some have mentioned as showcase black human beings never call for revolutionary changes, Black Power, Black Unity, or pan Africanism, just reform. They are reformists who seek to make black human beings to love the 2 party system or seek token concessions (when any concession given by the enemy benefits the enemy not the collective masses of black people. A concession given by the enemy can be taken away). Many of our concessions have been eliminated in the past decades. Some of them being self-hating is icing on the cake, because self-hating blacks have no allegiance to black men or black women collectively (as evident in Russell Simmons' slander of Harriet Tubman, Don Lemon's allying with an adulterous racist, etc.). That is why the media and Hollywood loves self-haters all the time. They or the self-haters have allegiance to the system. That is why a confident, Self-aware, and conscious Black Man and a confident, Self-aware, and conscious Black Woman feels spiritually, morally, and socially greater than a self-hater (when self-hatred is always correlated with immorality, social insecurities, inferiority complexes, anti-blackness, and evil deception). Yet, Cornel West's demagogic rhetoric is what I disagree with. Strategy is important here. I can outline disagreement with some of African descent (like the President Barack Obama) without adolescent rhetoric that mocks the suffering of our ancestors, who experienced slavery.

Syria and Warmongering

August 28, 2013 (Reuters) Syria says the United States, Britain and France helped "terrorists"
use chemical weapons in Syria

Reuters Syria says 'terrorists' will strike Europe with chemical weapons http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/08/28/us-syria-crisis-europe-idUSBRE97R0N220130828 DAMASCUS | Wed Aug 28, 2013 8:56am EDT
(Reuters) - Syria's deputy foreign minister said on Wednesday that the United States,
Britain and France helped "terrorists" use chemical weapons in Syria, and that the
same groups would soon use them against Europe.
Speaking to reporters outside the Four Seasons hotel in Damascus, Faisal Maqdad said he had presented
U.N. chemical weapons inspectors with evidence that "armed terrorist groups" had used sarin gas
in all the sites of alleged attacks.
"We repeat that the terrorist groups are the ones that used (chemical weapons) with the help of the United States,
the United Kingdom and France, and this has to stop," he said. "This means these chemical weapons will soon
be used by the same groups against the people of Europe," he added.

More Research on the March
Thursday News
We are after 50 years after the
March on Washington. There is nothing wrong with having a Dream. The Dream of
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. should be respected since all of humanity should be
treated with dignity, respect, and equality. Human beings of numerous backgrounds
marched to the nation’s capital as a means to seek freedom, jobs, and justice.
The vast majority of the masses of the people in both marches (in 1963 and
2013) sincerely wanted justice. They had love and compassion. Yet, justice is
not done by marching alone. The act of marching or protesting is not immoral,
but solely doing marching is not effective. We have to embrace positive
militancy, independent organizations, and independent programs to help our
society. I love Bernice King's speech. Her oratory ability is out of this
world. She is a better orator than many folks in her family. Bernice King is a
genius. There were many other activists, ex-Presidents, celebrities, and others
have spoken about issues and about the Dream. Also, the President Barack Obama delivered his
speech recently. The President is a great orator in his own right as well. His
speech discussed about the wider agenda of American society instead of explicit
policy agendas. His speech oratory wise was very strong. Here is my critique of the President's speech. Now, President Barack
Obama even admitted that he can't speak like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His
administration has a long way to go in being like the true human rights ethos
of Dr. King and so many other heroes. It is ironic that the President spoke his
words in the time that U.S. warships in the eastern Mediterranean are preparing
to rain down bombs on another impoverished mostly Arabic nation. Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. wanted to mobilized workers and humanity in the South and
across the Earth to advance democracy and equality. The White House is still
too much tied to the military intelligence apparatus and Wall Street. He can
talk about the middle class, but not explicitly on the plight of the poor. The
President praised those going to jail to protest unjust laws and cells swelling
with freedom songs back decades ago. Yet, the current administration wants the extradition and
prosecution of Edward Snowden and he condemned Private Bradley Manning for
years in prison. He advances the unconstitutional surveillance program carried
out by the National Security Agency or the NSA, which is similar to the spy
programs of the FBI (that carried out illegal spying against Americans back
then and still today like against the Occupy Movement). The White House abhors
civil disobedience now, but he praises it when civil rights heroes did it. If
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was alive today, he would have opposed the war on terror. Not to mention that back then Dr. King was harassed by the FBI. The establishment called Dr. King a
threat since he was opposed to American foreign policy. King called the US war
in Vietnam “one of the most unjust wars that has ever been fought in the
history of the world,” and one that had “torn up the Geneva Accord” and
“strengthened the military-industrial complex [and] the forces of reaction in
our nation.” He or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quite accurately called the US government “the greatest
purveyor of violence in the world.” President Barack Obama admitted that we
have seen the growth of social and economic tensions in America: “[W]orking
Americans of all races have seen their wages and incomes stagnate,” he said.
“Even as corporate profits soar, even as the pay of a fortunate few explodes,
inequality has steadily risen over the decades. Upward mobility has become
harder. In too many communities across this country in cities and suburbs and
rural hamlets, the shadow of poverty casts a pall over our youth, their lives a
fortress of substandard schools and diminished prospects, inadequate health
care and perennial violence.” Yet, we have to understand that the Wall Street
banks are having record profits at the expense of wage cuts and cuts in social
services in America. The President was wrong to blame the victims of oppression
instead of the oppressor for our modern oppression with this Booker T. Washington lite quote that he
loves to do: “Legitimate grievances against police brutality tipped into
excuse-making for criminal behavior,” he declared. “[What] had once been a call
for equality of opportunity, the chance for all Americans to work hard and get
ahead,” he continued, “was too often framed as a mere desire for government
support…as if poverty was an excuse for not raising your child...” That is
funny since the real source of the social crisis are not excuse making or the
poor, but the system of white supremacy and its arms of cartel capitalism, war,
socioeconomic attacks on us, etc. Dr. King criticized capitalism since he
questioned class oppression and wanted social equality via his Poor People's
Campaign. We need revolutionary changes not a reform of capitalism. We must not
turn into the Richard Nixonian token black capitalism, but revolutionary
changes to address war and social oppression. We must reject the mainstream
political establishment. We must be independents and reject banker and
corporate exploitation of our communities and workers in the world. This day
should motivate us to do better and be better human beings. We all wished that
he or President Barack Obama would talk about police brutality, imperialism, the War on Drugs, the evils
of white supremacy, etc. but he said many words that were legitimate and real
that dealt with economic disparities in America. Ironically, the President has
many neoliberal, centrist positions yet the irrational reactionaries still view
him as a super socialist Muslim (which is a slander). The Dream calls us to
oppose war, oppose police state methods, and oppose the harm to the living standards of all
humans. We should follow the agenda of the people not of the ruling class. We
know that the CIA and the FBI are terrorist organizations. The DHS violated
human rights and they are not to be trusted as well. I do believe that the White
House is completely wrong in following the neo-conservative path on foreign
policy issues. We should be Independents politically. Regardless of what you
think of the White House, we can't just issue legitimate critiques of the White
House (which is fine). We should also advance solutions in our communities too
and help out our neighbors as well like so many are doing now (including those
in the younger generation). We should continue to use action as others have
said. The older Brothers and the older Sisters in the world are right to say that the March of 1963
suppressed numerous militant black voices (even John Lewis censored his words
by force) as a means to wrongly stir much of the movement into the establishment 2
party system (to gain concessions not revolutionary changes. A concession can
be eliminated and the Supreme Court has harmed many of our concessions. Much of
the establishment civil rights movement has been infiltrated by Big Corporate
Foundations like the Rockefeller Foundation). Still, there are still real
Brothers and real Sisters in the Civil rights movement and the black liberation
movement in general. So, I want to make that clear. Today, we should be
comprehensive in our approach. We should fight for our liberation in our
communities via boycotts, using self defense when it is necessary, being morally upright, fighting for laws to be changed, organizing with our
people, funding real businesses, funding real black conscious
organizations, advance global pan-Africanism (as we oppose the wicked system of white supremacy), improving our health, having mentorships, developing more skills including trades as a
means to harness our power base, and to advance the dignity of Black Men and
Black Women (including Black Children). We have no choice but to act constructively.
The White House is considering a
military strike in Syria. The White House claimed that intercepted phone calls
document that Bashar Al-Assad was behind the chemical weapons attack in Syria.
The phone calls were made by the Syrian Ministry of Defense. They were
intercepted by the Mossad and passed to the U.S. It revealed that Syrian
government officials, “exchanged panicked phone calls with a leader of a
chemical weapons unit, demanding answers for a nerve agent strike that killed
more than 1,000 people,” in the hours after last week’s attack. Why would the
Syrian Ministry of Defense make panicked phone calls demanding answers about
the attack if they had ordered it? The reality is that the highest levels of
the Syrian government apparently had no knowledge of the attack. This strongly
suggests that they did not directly order it. There is a worst case scenario of
being that the attack was “the work of a Syrian officer overstepping his bounds,” writes Foreign Policy’s
Noah Shachtman. “We don’t
know exactly why it happened,” a US intelligence official told Foreign Policy.
“We just know it was pretty f____ stupid.” Right, we do not have a lot of the
details about what happened, why it happened, or who ordered. We have the
sabotaging of the UN's investigation of the incident. Now, the U.S. is about to
launch cruise missile attacks and this could enflame the whole region. The
evidence now suggests that the Syrian government doesn't know who was behind
the chemical weapons attack. There has been leaked other phone conversations
that emerged earlier this year between two members of the Free Syrian Army
contain details of a plan to carry out a chemical weapons attack capable of
impacting an area the size of one kilometer. We know that are much video
footage shows U.S. backed rebels preparing and using chemical weapons. The U.S.
government once lied that Iraq had massive weapons of destruction. The Iraq
caused thousands of human beings to die as a result of the Iraq War. The Syrian
government called for an international and scientific investigation backed by
the United Nations to find out who has achieved the chemical attack. Also, it
would to not intelligent for Syria to use chemical attacks against their own
citizens since that would give the West the justification to strike Syria.
There is no military strategic logic in the use of weapons of mass destruction.
And, more recently, we could again witness how the United States misled and
misused the United Nations when the American government used Resolution 1973
(the establishment of a no-fly zone and the use of “all means necessary” to
protect civilians within Libya) to carry out regime change in Libya. The
violation of international law and the reactionary foreign policy of the West harm
real international diplomatic actions. John Kerry made the error in saying that
Syria refused UN investigators to visit the site of the attack. On Thursday,
Reuters reported: “The United Nations demanded Syria give its chemical weapons’
experts immediate access on Thursday to rebel-held Damascus suburbs where
poison gas appears to have killed hundreds just a few miles from the UN team’s
hotel.” In fact, according to an exchange at a news conference at the UN today,
the UN did not make a formal request of the Syrian government until Saturday
and the Syria government responded positively the next day. Syria is having a
civil war and it is not a threat to America. The war crimes of the rebels are
ignored by the West, but the Western elite (including their allies found in
Israel and Gulf Monarchies) have members who desire a military strike in Syria. At the final analysis, we
should be opposed to Empire that is backed by the ruling 1%. So, we will always
be opposed to imperialism and any form of oppression.
Rand Paul recently made extreme
statements. Many Republicans refuse to respect the 50th Anniversary of the
March on Washington situation. Senator Rand Paul compared food stamps to slavery,
which is an old reactionary lie. My ancestors suffered slavery. Slavery
dehumanized humanity. Slavery murdered and brutalized innocent human beings
because of their background or race. Slavery caused psychological, physical,
and emotional turmoil in the lives of human beings too. There is no comparison
between food stamps and slavery at all. Food stamps and the social safety net
prevented many Americans from facing starvation in the USA. Rand Paul wants no
government intervention even if it can be constructively used to help the poor.
“As humans, yeah, we do have an obligation to give people water, to give people
food, to give people health care,” Paul allowed, “but it’s not a right because
once you conscript people and say, ‘Oh, it’s a right,’ then really you’re in
charge, it’s servitude, you’re in charge of me and I’m supposed to do whatever
you tell me to do.” His views are Randian. The reality is that good government
is made up of the people. Since the people represents government then the
people via government can help humanity if government is fair and just. There
are many human rights explicitly not mentioned in the Constitution. Just
because something is not mentioned in the Constitution, doesn't mean that
something is not a human right. I have the human right to not be harmed, but
that right is not explicitly mentioned in the Constitution. Also, humans are
forced to do things sometimes. Humans are forced to not do murder. Humans are forced to
not commit perjury. Humans are forced not to do pedophilia. So, these
legitimate restrictive actions are meant to enhance society and morality. Many
libertarians lack an appreciation of true morality. Even economist and
libertarian icon Friederich Hayek believed in a basic guaranteed income and a
social safety net (including health care) to ensure a fair democratic
society. Rand Paul would disagree with an
extreme libertarian like Hayek on that issue. He made the same point in a less
popularly known work, Law, Legislation, and Liberty, where he writes that “a sort of floor below which nobody need fall even when he
is unable to provide for himself, appears not only to be wholly legitimate
protection against a risk common to all, but a necessary part of the Great
Society in which the individual no longer has specific claims on the members of
the particular small group into which he was born.” In a modern society,
Hayek’s saying, we’re obligated to collectively take care of the people who
aren’t being provided for by the people immediately around them. Some of the
public good can be positive for society. Human rights are not slavery. Human
rights are human rights and human rights are superior to states’ rights. Folks
in Rand Paul's ilk want to harm Social Security, which has helped tens of
millions of the elderly and disabled, avoid falling into poverty. Ron
Paul thinks that the poor should go it alone, without any government help.
According to Paul's every-man-for-himself philosophy, any regulation mandating
a minimum wage or safer working conditions are a part of "big government,"
and should be eliminated. Many of the Rand Paul ilk claims to want to end
militarization of local communities and oppose militarism overseas, but some of
them want to militarize the border in America. So, we are still fighting for
justice. We are still fighting for true freedom and equality. I reject
xenophobia and other evils in the world. So, our role models are Fannie Lou
Hamer, Kwame Ture, Malcolm X, Gloria Richardson, Ella Baker, and Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr., not the Koch Brothers. We should continue to fight for economic justice,
social justice, and true equality for all of humanity.
The genocide against our Black
Brothers and Black Sisters in Brazil continues to this very day. It did not
stop during the time of slavery. There is the recent police brutality against
mass demonstrations in Brazil. There is also the massive state violence by the
Brazil police forces against the poor Blacks of Brazil. Many Black communities
in Brazil are under siege or under attack. This is genocide. Any legitimate
community has the right to live and exist without state violence. Now, black
human beings in black communities in Salvador, Bahia, etc. created the
"React or be Dead" campaign. These activists are fighting against
police brutality, the prison industrial complex, and the genocide in black
communities. Communities have the right to survive in the world. We should
always reject the evil actions of paid death squads, murderous militias, evil
police, and extermination groups that want the status quo. Many blacks have
died by these murderers as a means to maintain the power structure.
Afro-Brazilians are literally fighting for their dignity and survival. This new
campaign of genocide since 2005 has not stopped. The homicides in Brazil are
more than those in Iraq (which experienced a violent imperialist occupation).
The Black movement has delivered reports to the UN and the Organization of
America States. Homicides are the principal cause of death for Black males
between the ages of 15 and 29. Furthermore, even the Ministry of Health
documented in 2010 that over 53.3% of the roughly fifty thousand homicide
deaths in Brazil are youths and from these 76.6% are Black Brazilians and 91.3%
are young men. This is coupled with poverty and lack of access to services such
as health care and education -- all wide spread manifestations of the white
supremacy that is pervasive in the lives Black Brazil and which mark Afro
Brazilians as “enemies to be combated” by the Police and injustice systems. We
know this to be genocide. Many Black Women in Brazil suffer death, mutilation,
and murder. These are our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and aunties in
Brazil. These are our people. The Black Communities in Brazil nationally have
organized the “March against the Genocide of Black People.” It is indeed
“React or be Dead” since the color of homicides is indeed telling of the situation
of many Black communities in Brazil. All Afrikan peoples of the world must be
protected. We will never forget Oscar Grant, Trayvon Martin, and Zoltan
Hyacinth either. We should have solidarity with our Afrikan peoples of the
world.
Rick Perry has those neo-Confederate
tendencies. He wants to cite the Tenth Amendment as an excuse to claim that the
federal government has no authority to protect minority voting rights. He is
wrong in both constitutional analysis and he is wrong on the Fifteenth Amendment.
We witness a new era of voter suppression aimed at minorities, the poor, the
elderly, the youth, etc. The reactionaries exaggerate the significance of the
Tenth Amendment as a means to bash any expression of a social safety net. That
is why the Justice Department announced plans to contest a new Texas law that
would require voter IDs supposedly in response to the virtually nonexistent
problem of in person voter fraud. Many Republicans want to block blacks,
Hispanics, and the poor from voting (since many human beings lack the mandated
photo IDs). Texas Governor Rick Perry was well known for his infamous 2012 GOP
Presidential campaign. Rick wants to mention the 10th Amendment as a
justification to justify his evil anti-voting law. He feels that the Justice
Department's move was unconstitutional. “We continue to defend the integrity of
our elections against this administration’s blatant disregard for the Tenth
Amendment,” Perry declared. Unfortunately, The NY Times and the Washington Post
including other mainstream news outlets failed to stand up against the
reactionaries' deception on made up constitutional history. The Tenth Amendment
amounted to a sop to the states. It was heavily irrelevant since the
Constitution already granted an array of broad of powers to the federal
government like the elastic language for acting to “promote the general
Welfare” and to pass “necessary and proper” laws to implement those powers.
However, at the time of the Constitution’s ratification in 1788, supporters of
the old structure, the Articles of Confederation, recognized how the new
governing document made the federal government supreme and made the states
subordinate. The Articles had deemed the states “sovereign” and “independent”
with the central government only a “league of friendship.” The Articles of
Confederation failed to stabilize the government, so George Washington,
James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and Gouverneur Morris (who drafted the famous
Preamble) – came to hold a convention in secret in Philadelphia to throw
out the Articles and to craft the Constitution. Replacing the language
about state “sovereignty” and “independence” was the phrasing “We the People of
the United States.” Anti-Federalists opposed these changes. They wanted the
states to maintain slavery in states. Also, the Fifteenth Amendment explicitly
grants the federal government the authority to protect the voting rights of
minorities. The Fifteenth Amendment states, “The right of citizens of the
United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or
by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. The
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”
So, Rick Perry's argument makes no sense unless he uses a Confederate view. The
Confederate view is that all other Amendments after the end of the Civil War
and during Reconstruction are illegitimate since they were imposed on the
South. So, whites should still be allowed to own black human beings (prohibited
by the Thirteenth Amendment) and that legal protections of minorities
(contained in the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments) should be ignored. That
sick view is evil indeed. Yet, some of the Confederate views (that makes states’
rights supreme over human rights) is embraced by many in the Republican Party.
The mainstream media in many cases refuses to call these retrograde views as
vestiges of slavery, segregation, and racism.

Life in General
There is a crisis in Syria, Lebanon,
and Egypt. We know that the neo cons and the Western establishment want to
divide and conquer the Middle East for corporate interests (and for other
globalist objectives). The West certainly has tensions with Iran for many
geopolitical reasons. Now, the Western media in many circles have accused the
Syrian government of launching a chemical attack in an areas east of Damascus
that killed thousands of civilians. This is a similar accusation some had on
Saddam Hussein who allegedly ordered a chemical attack in the town of Halaba in
Southern Kurdistan (or a Kurdish territory killing more than 3000 people and
more than 7000 injured). U.S President George H.W. Bush used the incident to
justify an invasion when he said “The dictator who is assembling the world’s
most dangerous weapons has already used them on whole villages, leaving
thousands of his own citizens dead, blind or disfigured.” Many doubts
surfaced including a former Central Intelligence Agency senior political analyst
and professor at the Army War College, Stephen C. Pelletiere who wrote an
opinion piece in the New York Times in 2003 called ‘A War Crime or an Act of
War?, he said: "...This much about the gassing at Halabja we
undoubtedly know: it came about in the course of a battle between Iraqis and
Iranians. Iraq used chemical weapons to try to kill Iranians who had seized the
town, which is in northern Iraq not far from the Iranian border. The Kurdish
civilians who died had the misfortune to be caught up in that exchange. But
they were not Iraq’s main target..." The U.S. media is receiving
reports from the Western backed rebels that accuse Assad for the atrocities
committed by his government. They are using the information as a means to
justify an invasion of Syria. However, RT news reported that there was evidence
the attack was pre-planned according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman,
Aleksandr Lukashevich who said “We’re getting more new evidence that this
criminal act was of a provocative nature,” he stressed. “In particular,
there are reports circulating on the Internet, in particular that the materials
of the incident and accusations against government troops had been posted for
several hours before the so-called attack. Thus, it was a pre-planned action.”
Ironically, the Kurds (who Saddam Hussein was accused of murdering) are
targeted by the same rebels in the north of Syria by Al-Nusra Front, an Al
Qaeda front group and the Free Syrian Army. RT news and other
international news outlets reported that more than 450 Kurdish people including
women and children were killed in the village of Tal Abyad near the Turkish
border. The Western backed rebels accuse the Assad government of a chemical
attack that allegedly killed hundreds of human beings. Russia believes that
evidence suggests that the weapons were fired from the Western backed rebels
(Russia claims that the weapons were fired from rebel held territory). Last
March, the U.S. and Israel claimed that Syrian forces launched a chemical
attack in the Khan al-Assal village, located north from the city of Aleppo. A
Russian led investigation said that militants were behind the attack. It is not
a secret that the U.S., Israel, and now France want the Syria to be removed of
Assad and Syria potentially being balkanized to suit Western interests. NATO
broke up Yugoslavia in the 1990's as well. The rebels have been heavily trained
and supported by the West as a means to start a civil war in Syria. France
wants a full scale invasion if chemical weapons were used in the attack. Also,
the 2011 demonstration evolved into the civil war. There is nothing wrong with
peaceful demonstrations. There is something wrong with rebels killing innocent
Kurds, Christians, and Muslims though in Syria. The attacks in Lebanon are
dividing many Sunnis and Shiites as well. Lebanon is having more violence while
Egypt and Syria is having more civil wars or sectarian violence. On
Friday more than 42 people were killed and hundreds more injured as car bombs
explode targeting 2 mosques in Tripoli, the largest city in Northern
Lebanon. There was also a car bomb explosion that targeted Southern
Lebanon where Hezbollah members and supporters live. It killed more than
20 people and injured well over 200. The Lebanon based Daily Star
reported that Lebanese President Michel Sleiman blamed Israel for the attack. A
civil war in Lebanon will never benefit Lebanon, because its infrastructure is
destroyed in the process. There has been a car bomb attack in the Beirut
southern suburbs called Ruwaiss (which is a stronghold of Hezbollah. It killed
at least 16 human beings and wounded over 200). A Sunni Islamist group calling
itself the Brigades of Aisha is claiming responsibility for the deadly
explosion in southern Beirut. The military dictatorship now in Egypt has harmed
human rights now. On July 3rd, General Abdul Fatah al-Sisi and the Egyptian
military removed President Mohamed Morsi in a coup that suspended the Egyptian
constitution after ongoing public protests against the government of Morsi including
the Muslim Brotherhood. The British based newspaper The Independent
reported that General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called for mass demonstrations to
crack down on terrorists. It was to justify military rule in wake of the
overthrow of President Morsi. This can continue the confrontation between
Egypt's military and the Muslim Brotherhood. It would be silly for a war to
start with Iran by the neo cons and their allies. Iran is not Iraq. Iran has a
stronger navy, army, air force, and infrastructure than Iraq. A war against
Iran could ruin the whole region including Israel. It will be a disaster in the
making if Iran was attacked.
We know the truth about politics in
the world. George Zimmerman's unfortunate verdict raised the social consciousness of
America. It made us aware of what is really important in life. The Supreme
Court harmed parts of the Voting Rights Act signify that we have to fight for the
democratic rights of black human beings. We still live in a land where crooked
cops gun folks down in the streets of America. The system has been rooted in
the brutal exploitation of the many for the few. It has been built on the
bedrock of racial oppression from chattel slavery to wage slavery. The ruling
class in America never granted humanity true revolutionary freedom in America.
We are only granted concessions unless we fight for our freedom. Freedom is
never granted voluntarily by the oppressor. It must be fought and demanded by
the oppressed. We see Wall Street receiving trillions of dollars and tens of billions
sent to the auto bosses, but the city of Detroit is never rescued with a
federal government bailout that can help its public services (including its
jobs, pensions, retiree health care benefits, city workers' benefits, etc.). We
have the potential of Ray Kelly being the new Department of Homeland Security.
Ray Kelly was the NYPD's architect of the notoriously immoral, unconstitutional
stop and frisk program. He also set up the NYPD’s Demographics Unit, which has
dispatched officers in the Northeast to spy on Muslims—fitting credentials for
running the domestic “war on terror.” We still see drone strikes in Pakistan,
Yemen, Somalia, and other places of the world during this current
administration. Now, we realize that the liberal establishment exploited the
1963 march back then as a means to keep the lid on the mass, militant struggles
for black rights in America (and to channel that struggle into the
establishment Democratic Party). Now, the masses of the human beings in that march were sincere, strong, and intelligent. I wanted to make clear. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his very
eloquent "I Have a Dream" speech there. It is very naïve to assume
that the same Justice Department that leads a system of rampant racist police
terror, frame up trials, and overflowing prisons will end the War on Drugs
immediately. Attorney General Eric Holder is though trying to stop the voter
suppression efforts in Texas since even Texas is going too far beyond its other
policies. Just because I disagree with Stand Your Ground for reasons of
advancing vigilantism (as the innocent young Brother Jordan Davis was murdered by Michael Dunn for no
reason whatsoever) and being a throwback to old Jim Crow laws doesn't mean
that I abhor self-defense. I agree with self-defense. It is immoral for the
state to have a monopoly of arms for that will leave only criminals,
vigilantes, and fascists to have those arms. So, the workers not only are to be
mobilized to fight oppression. The poor should have their voices heard too. We
have the right to disagree with poverty, unemployment, bad housing, bad
education, and police brutality. We should continue to fight against poverty
and not seek to love materialism (and view capital as God at the expense of the
suffering in the world). Even in our community, there is a small minority with
certain privileges while the rest of us suffer. We should be independents and
not chained to the Democratic or Republican parties at all. We should be
political independents as Malcolm X told us to be before he was unfortunately
assassinated by reactionary extremists. We should use the events in the world
as motivation to advance liberty for humanity and justice for our people. Justice is also for all humankind.
I respected the Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. of 1968 than of 1963. By 1968, Dr. King woke up a great deal about
many issues. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. contributed a great deal to the social
and political evolution of the United States (including the world). We realized that Dr.
King advocated a peaceful world society and we have some in 2013 advancing
drone attacks and reactionary neo-cons wanting a Western militaristic response
against Syria. The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. of 1968 acted courageously to
champion human rights, fighting against inequality, and disagreeing with war.
Then and now, the establishment heads up a nefarious military intelligence
apparatus that orders assassinations, military aggression, and police measures
at home (from COINTELPRO back in the day to the NDAA, the Patriot Act,
government spying, etc. today). Unfortunately, many of our political leaders
now from both major parties defend evil corporations, Wall Street banks, and
the super-rich. Dr. Martin Luther Jr. acted like a man to publicly speak up
against injustice and use mobilization including actions in the world to fight
oppression. We can never exploit the sacrifice of our leaders as a means to win
establishment political positions and seek greedy profits. From the Montgomery
Bus Boycott of 1955 to the evil, unjust, and tragic assassination of Dr. King
in 1968 included a great deal of social changes in the world. The movement for
justice has been reviled by the establishment, because they never wanted
revolutionary changes in society (that would end their ruling class organs and
their monopoly capitalist system system). The civil rights movement had
legitimate grievances to oppose oppression. Many civil rights leaders organized
in civil disobedience, the student sit-ins and Freedom Rides; the voter
registration drives; and the struggles for jobs and against poverty. Still, the
establishment wanted to co-opt the movement for social change as a means to get
their agendas through. Even the Kennedy administration gave uneasy approval to
the March on Washington, because the Kennedy administration was heavily
moderate on the question on civil rights. JFK was assassinated when he crossed that line and called for a civil rights bill. The March included grassroots
folks of numerous backgrounds sincerely wanting justice mixed with more
conservative elements of the leaders of the NAACP and the Urban League. Back
then, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. used his gifts to balance the more radical
youth (and young workers) with the more conservative leaders of the movement.
The SNCC and Malcolm X were more radical than Dr. King even back then. Dr. King
wanted the Kennedy administration to end Jim Crow segregation in the South.
When Kennedy was assassinated, the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act
were passed. These new laws were some of the last acts of genuine social reform
in the 20th century. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was correct to see that you
have to deal with economic inequality and other social issues not just
segregation. Dr. King began to choose a different path from beyond reform to
radical action to end economic oppression. He opposed the Vietnam War. This
caused him great opposition from the administration of Lyndon Johnson and the NAACP
even. Just months before his assassination in April 1968, he launched the Poor
People’s Campaign. King planned to build a movement uniting workers (and
the poor of numerous backgrounds) in the fight for jobs and decent living
standards. He began to denounce capitalism as the source of poverty and
inequality. In a 1967 speech delivered in Atlanta, Georgia explaining his
opposition to the Vietnam War, King advocated a “shift from a thing-oriented
society to a person-oriented society,” warning, “When machines and computers,
profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people,
the giant triplets of racism, militarism and economic exploitation are
incapable of being conquered.” In another 1967 speech he asked why there were
40 million poor people in what was then the wealthiest country in the world.
“When you begin to ask that question, you are raising a question about the
economic system, about a broader distribution of wealth,” he said. “When you
ask that question, you begin to question the capitalistic economy. And … when
you deal with this you begin to ask the question, ‘Who owns the oil?’ You begin
to ask the question, ‘Who owns the iron ore?’” After Dr. King died, much of the
civil rights movement shifted from the radical aims that Dr. King loved. Some
of them loved the black capitalism token ethos as advanced by Richard
Nixon. Nixon used the black capitalist model as an excuse to crush the progressive efforts of the Black Panther Party (not as a means to sincerely help all black human beings). Affirmative action is fine, but now affirmative action has been so cut
back, that is not reaching the black community as it should. Now, we have multimillionaires
at the expense of growing social inequality. The establishment and their agents
never wanted to eliminate mass poverty. They wanted the securing of special,
limited privileges for the very small minority of the African American
population (as a means to curtail real revolutionary changes). Some even in our community strive for personal wealth and privilege
by loving the cartel capitalist system. Some of them are self-promoters,
corrupt politicians, and to overt servants of U.S. imperialism. Others are
vicious opponents of democratic rights and advocate police state like policies.
We know their names. Meanwhile, the income levels of black workers have fallen
since Dr. King lost his life for the people. We have to be independent
politically for the Democrats are just as much in league with the establishment
as the Republicans overtly are (they are in league with U.S. banks and
corporations. They serve the needs of the Western banks and corporations). We
have the right to advocate social equality and democratic rights. We can never
be real if we advance the capitalistic exploitation of our people. In the
months before his death, King declared that the US had “committed more war
crimes almost than any nation in the world” and was its “greatest purveyor of
violence.” There is an unbridgeable gulf between King’s struggle against
imperialist war and Obama’s role as president. So, we are still fighting for
strength. Wall Street should have personal responsibility when it committed
crimes, drug running, gotten record bailouts, and other evils in the world spanning decades.
Our struggle is a struggle for justice for the oppressed peoples of the world
not just the workers. You can liberate all workers in the world and it will not
mean a thing if the poor or the oppressed non-workers suffer. All humans
deserve liberation. We can win and we will win. We have to outline our programs
and do our work, because white supremacy is never omnipotent. Only God is
omnipotent. If some of our people believe in that lie, then they view white
supremacy as God instead of God being God (and black humans certainly have the
power, the will, and the strength to develop our institutions. We have to own our
resources more via self determination).
The residents of Detroit are
opposing this situation in Detroit since many of them are saying that they have
no democracy. Industrial decline and the harm done to urban black political
power have harmed Detroit. We know that more than half of Michigan's 1.4
million Black resident still live under the rule of emergency managers. This
reality has harmed the right to vote, have real goods, and has harmed collective bargaining
rights. Michigan's Republican Governor Snyder appointed Kevyn Orr as the
emergency manager for Detroit on July 18. Detroit according to many accounts has
$18.5 billion in the hole, making this the largest of several recent bankruptcies
declared by U.S. cities and counties. Governor Rick Snyder declared the city
bankrupt under chapter 9 of the bankruptcy code. Those who will suffer under
the bankruptcy will be the most painful ones will be Detroit's 21,000 retired
city employees and its 9,000 current ones. "Everything they've been
promised, both contractually and kind of a social contract, is being pulled out
from under them. It's morally indefensible," Michael Mulholland,
vice-president of Local 207 of the American Federation of State, County and
Municipal Employees told journalist Jane Slaughter. "I was told if I
worked here I'd have a steady job and in my old age not be in
poverty." Mulholland's pension as a retiree is $1600 a month, not an
income that can support a family, even in a city like Detroit where housing
prices have plunged. There are other cities like Stockton, California that has
filed for bankruptcy. In a court settlement this month, it forced its 1100
retirees to accept a lump sum of $5.1 million to compensate them for canceling
their previously guaranteed medical insurance. If each retiree gets an equal
share of about $4636, it would buy health insurance for only a year or two, at
current prices. In the U.S. there is no national health service, and people
must buy insurance to pay the cost of medical care. The private sectors via
huge U.S. corporations have tried to harm the obligations for pensions and
healthcare for their retired workers. There is the recent case of the Patriot
Coal Company. It was created by the mining giants Peabody Energy and Arch Coal.
The Patriot Coal Company declared bankruptcy while its corporate creators
continue to amass large profits. Patriot is responsible for the pensions and
healthcare for 23,000 retirees and dependents, who previously worked for
Peabody and Arch before the spin off. The new company now says it can't sustain
the payments for the benefits workers earned over years of labor in the mines.
Other cities have used bankruptcy laws to accomplish this end like Stockton and
Vallejo in California. Even in Michigan via the Public Act 101 of 1988, it
allowed temporary control of the cities. It ended contracts or benefits of
employees back in 1988 when the Democrats controlled the legislature and
governor's office. Then Public Act 72 in 1990 allowed the appointment of
emergency managers to take control of school systems. By 2011, the Republicans
took control over the Michigan legislature and the governorship. They passed
Public Law 4. It was worse than the previous laws. It gave unlimited powers to
the emergency managers who were appointed by the governor. This managers ruled
local city mayors, school boards, and other public bodies. Governor Snyder
ended collective bargaining rights and employee status for almost 26,000
childcare workers belonging to the United Auto Workers and AFSCME. There are
emergency managers ruling over Detroit schools. The agenda of privatization is
real. More charter schools have been growing in Detroit too. The voters even
voted to repeal Public Law 4 in the 2012 election. The elite want to steal the
pension benefits of those in Detroit even when it is illegal to do so. Industrialization
in Detroit threw many jobs away into the ground. Some vehicle plants back then grew employment.
Detroit grew to be a heavily African American city. It was once rivaling
Washington, D.C. in its demographics of black human beings. Some checkerboard marches came in the 1930's as a means to
unite Black and white workers (since tensions existed). Still, black Americans
were discriminated against in Detroit. In 1950, folks lived in segregated
neighborhoods. White residents worried that black newcomers would harm property
values. Black families had to fight racial covenants, redlining and
hostile neighbors. Many white residents fled to segregated suburbs
in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Racial tensions grew in the
1960's. There was the race riot in June of 1943. On July 23, 1967, a
police raid on an after-hours bar triggered one of the biggest riots in
American history. Conditions in inner city plants were the worst in the
industry. Black and white workers often felt neglected by union
leadership. Now, most of Detroit's auto plants were closed. Half of folks
living in poverty in the metropolitan region's population are living in
poverty. There is high unemployment and high poverty. The eroding tax base has
made it difficult for the city to supply basic services. Meanwhile, Emergency
Manager Kevyn Orr has announced that he plans to sell major Detroit assets,
including Belle Isle Park, the largest public park island in the country, and
the huge Water and Sewage Department, as well as cutting almost half the city's
street lighting. Many demonstrations are fighting for change. They want
freedom from the managers controlling the city. One of them, Elder Helen Moore of
the Keep the Vote No Takeover Coalition, founded in 1999 to combat the takeover
of Detroit Public Schools, said, ”There is no reason to celebrate the
Fourth of July, because Detroit is not free. We have no democracy. Our
school system has been practically destroyed by state takeovers. We are crying
out today for freedom for our people, Black, white, and Latino. We don't do
second-class citizenship very well." "When you hear that the service
is terrible in Detroit," Herrada laughs, "imagine us raising our
collective glass in cheer, because we did not come here to serve anyone."
As for the Jesuits and the rest of
the Vatican, I disagree with their agenda completely. I have done so for many
years. I continue to outline my dissent with Romanism now and forever. The leader of the Jesuit Order now is named Adolfo Nicolas SJ. He rules
over the U.S. Jesuit provincials in the States. The Vatican leadership
including the Jesuits advance spiritual deception at the expense of the lives
of the human race. Jesuit James Grummer is a very close aid to the man Adolfo
Nicholas. In our time, we should continue to advance truth (and realize that
many groups like the Knights of Malta, the Pilgrim Society, the Skulls and Bones, the Bohemian Grove, and the Golden Fleece have huge power in
the world as a means to enhance evil globalization and maintain the power
structure). Freemasonry also deals with many deceptions in the world too as they teach deception in the Blue Lodges. It is
still taboo to criticize the Vatican leadership in the world. The Jesuit
influenced the growth of Mormonism too. It was the Jesuit Pierre Jean de Smet
that assisted the Mormon Brigham Young. Mormonism copied much of its
infrastructure from the Order of Freemasonry. That is why Joseph Smith was a
Freemason and many rituals including symbolism from Mormonism derived themselves from Freemasonry. de Smet dealt with Mason Albert Pike. Albert Pike was a Confederate
traitor and he was the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite. It is
ashamed how a Confederate is considered a hero among Masons. A real shill will outline collective hatred against all those who are of Arabic or Jewish descent (which is about advancing the evil of anti-Semitism). Also, a real shill
will always have collective hatred against blacks too. Anti-blackness has always been an agenda of white supremacy (since the enemy hates and is jealous of natural black melanin among black humanity. It is as simple as that. Melanin is very blessed and powerful entity. One of the final goals of the elite is the scapegoat black humanity, especially the most beautiful Creation of God on Earth, which are black women). The Jesuit Georgetown
University has been a very strong focal point of agenda of the military
industrial complex, corporate power, and harm done to the world. We know that
the Jesuits have an influence in the history of the FBI and CIA then and now.
Also, we should realize about the nefarious actions of British Intelligence
now. The Jesuit supporter Cecil Rhodes believed in the bigoted lie that the
British Empire had the divine right to the rule the entire world. Cecil founded
the Rhodes Scholarship and he agreed with the wicked imperialism against the
Motherland of Africa. The MI6 "intelligence
officer" who dealt with the Nazis was named Group Captain Frederick William
Winterbotham. The Nazis (when some of them were influenced by the Knight of Malta Franz von Papen including other reactionary Roman Catholics) via their wicked Shoah killed millions of Jewish human beings and non Jewish human beings. I disagree with Roman spiritual
deception, because I believe in the reality that salvation is never done by works alone. I
believe that a believer in God doesn't need wicked oaths or mundane, silly
rituals to have redemption, but by the blood of the Lamb. I believe in the
freedom of any human being to have the right to read the scriptures or any text
in their own tongue. I believe in the separation of church and state that
outlines true religious liberty and human justice. I believe in the freedom of conscience. I believe in the mind, body,
and soul having value and this value comes from the Creator. I believe that
humans are created equal regardless of their background or unique differences.
I believe in hope and I believe in love. No man living in this Earth now should
be called the Vicar of Christ or the Holy Father at all. That is blasphemy
straight up. I believe in truth and that God is Just.
