On this Memorial Day (on the 100th Years after the Tulsa Massacre).

It has been 100 years later, but we will never forget. This day is the 100th year commemoration of the Tulsa massacre of black human lives at Tulsa, Oklahoma. The victims and the victims' descendants have told their stories including 3 survivors recently in May of 2021. It was one of the worst pogroms against black people in American history. It took place from May 31 to June 1, 1921. By 1921, Oklahoma had tons of intense social, racial, and political tensions. Many WWI veterans had returned after WWI ended. This end wasn't too long ago from the end of the American Civil War. This time saw massive civil rights and voting rights suppression of African Americans. Black workers wanted economic opportunities, life, liberty, and happiness. The Klan started their 2nd resurgence after the racist 1915 The Birth of a Nation film. Tulsa had tons of oil resources. Many affluent, educated, and professional African Americans lived in Tulsa too. Back in the day, the rich, middle class, and poor black Americans lived together in communities. Oklahoma had Jim Crow laws too. Tulsa founder, the Klan member W. Tate Brady, was involved in the riot as a night watchman. Other racist groups were there like the black robed Knights of Liberty. Lynching was huge in Oklahoma back then too. Greenwood was a district in Tulsa which was created in 1906 after Booker T. Washington's 1905 tour of Arkansas, Indian Territory, and Oklahoma. Greenwood became so prosperous that it was known as Black Wall Street. There were businesses, grocers, 2 newspapers, 2 movie theaters, nightclubs, and many churches. Doctors, dentists, lawyers, and clergy served their peers. Washington encouraged the people of Greenwood to have co-operation, economic independence, and excellence.

Mobs of white residents, many of them deputized and given weapons by city officials attack black residents, and they destroyed black businesses in the Greenwood District in Tulsa. The attack also was carried fro private aircraft where 35 square blocks of the district (at the time the wealthiest black community in America or Black Wall Street) was destroyed. These events were part of the nadir (or low points) of race relations in America. About 300 black men, women, and children died as a product of the massacre. To this day, we have not found all of the mass graves from the massacre. More than 800 people were in hospitals. As many as 6,000 black residents were interned in large facilities against their wills. They were placed in these locations for many days. Before the massacre started, the 19 year old Dick Rowland (or a black American shoeshiner) was accused of assaulting 17 year old Sarah Page or a white elevator operator of the nearby Drexel Building). Investigations show that what happened was that the man tipped near the elevator and grabbed Sarah Page's arm for safety. Page didn't want to press charges at all.

The man was taken into custody after he hid in his mother's house. There were rumors that Rowland was lynched. Hundreds of white people in a mob gathered around the jail where Rowland was held. A group of 75 black men, some of whom were armed, were at the jail to make sure that Rowland would not be lynched. The sheriff Willard M. McCullough convinced the black group to leave the jail, assuring them that they had the situation under control. As the group left, one member of the mob tried to disarm one of the black men. A shot was fired, then violence occurred. At the end of the firefight, 12 people were killed, 10 white people and 2 black people. News spread across Tulsa, and mob violence exploded. White rioters rampaged all over the black neighborhood by night time and morning. They killed men and burned plus looted stores and homes. That National Guard rounded up black people and took them to the Convention Hall on Brady Street for detention. Many white and black people squared off in gun fights. The fighting was founded along sections of the Frisco tracks, which was a dividing line between the black and white commercial districts. At 1 am., the white mob started to set fires, mainly in businesses on commercial Archer Street at the southern edge of Greenwood district. Some black people used self-defense, and others started a mass exodus from the city. When the Tulsa Fire Department arrived to put out the fires, they were turned away at gunpoint. The rioters killed black people indiscriminately. Airplanes used burning tupentine balls on the office building, hotel, a filing station, and many other building. Young and old black residents were gunned down in the street. By noon on June 1, 1921, the Oklahoma National Guard imposed marital law, ending the massacre.

About 10,000 black people were left homeless. Property damage has been amounted to more than $1.5 million in real estate and $750,000 in personal property (equivalent to $32.65 million in 2020). Many survivors left Tulsa. Many people in Tulsa stayed silent about the terror, violence, and losses for decades. Mary E. Jones Parrish, who was a survivor of the Tulsa massacre, was hired by the Interracial Commission to write an account of the riot. She was a young black teacher and journalist back then. She wrote about her experiences, collected other account,s gathered photographs, and documented a roster of property loses in the African American community. She published the first book about the riot called, Events of the Tulsa Disaster." Oliver Hooker or the first African American to join the Coast Guard was a survivor of the massacre too. She earned her Master's degree in psychology from Teacher's College, Columbia University. Sh earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Rochester. More survivors of the anti-black murders at Tulsa were Eldoris McCondichie, George Monroe, Lessie Benninfield, Hal Singer, Essie Lee Johnson Beck, Vernice Simms, and other human beings. The massacre was omitted heavily from local, state, and national histories until recently. In 1996, 75 years after the massacre, a bipartisan group in the state legislature authorized formation of the Oklahoma Commission to Study the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921. The commission's final report was published in 2001. It stated that the city had conspired with the mob of white citizens against black citizens. It recommended a program of reparations to the survivors and their descendants. The state passed legislation in order to form scholarships for the descendants of survivors, encourage the economic development of Greenwood, and to develop a park in memory of the victims of the massacre. The park was dedicated in 2010. By 2020, the Tulsa massacre became part of the Oklahoma school curriculum, but the governor of Oklahoma wants to ban critical race theory. This massacre is not new. In 1863, a mob harmed black people in Detroit living almost 200 black residents homeless. There were black people in Clinton, Mississippi massacred in 1875. White racists burned down the Wilmington, North Carolina Daily Record newspaper in their 1898 attempt to overthrow the city's biracial government. 60 black residents were killed. A racist mob killed almost 50 black people in East St. Louis, Illinois. Now, protesters in Tulsa, Oklahoma desire reparations as they should receive it. Our black lives always matter. We are not naive about American history. One way to move forward is to be honest about our history, and we have to make sure that justice is truly enacted for real (without compromising to the status quo).

Late May 2021 Information.

Soon, the Senate will have the procedural vote on the existence of the January 6th Commission. When those events happened, McCarthy called the attack terrible. Now, many of these same GOP Senators like Ron Johnson wants to sugarcoat the events of the U.S. Capitol insurrection that happened just a few months ago. Terrorists, who did that viciously evil insurrection, were domestic terrorists who hate the Constitutions and the principles of democracy in general. Many people want the facts. We want a critically independent investigations in order to decipher the truth about the events, security issues, a better timeliness, and lessons to make sure that the insurrection will never happen ever again. The filibuster should end. It is one way where laws can be passed more effectively. Mitch McConnell now disagrees with ending the filibuster, but he used an exception to it to cause the pro-Trump Supreme Court Justices to be in the Supreme Court. The moderate Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia opposes ending the filibuster when a recent poll shows that 79 percent of West Virginians support the For the People Act including 76 percent of Republicans.

Days ago was the Birthday of a living legend. She is an icon of hip hop and R&B music. As one of the most influential artists of all time, she promoted love, spirituality, social consciousness, and positive energy in music. She is Sister Lauryn Hill, and it's her Birthday today. As a Generation X black musician, she helped to break down barriers for women singers. Also, she helped to unify the cultures of hip hop, neo-soul, and R&B music. Newark, New Jersey is the city of her birth, and she is now 46 years old. Both of her parents were hard working people. She was raised Baptist. Later, she lived in New York for a time, and they settled in South Orange, New Jersey. When Lauryn Hill was growing up, she was exposed to a diversity of music from Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, and Curtis Mayfield. She loved Marvin Gaye's What's Going On album. She was part of the track team and cheerleading squad when she was in high school. That was at Columbia High School. She took AP classes and had A grades. She has a love of achieving greatness. Once, she was in the hip hop group of the Fugees which sold tons of records. Also, they were filled with huge talent. Lauryn Hill was an actress during this time too.

The Fugees' album of the Score in 1996 was one of the greatest hip hop albums of the 1990's. Lauryn Hill had vocals on songs like Killing Me Softly, Fu-Gee-La, and Ready or Not. She was just 21 when The Score came out. Her Refugee Project has helped at risk youth for years. She made the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1998. It was one of the best albums of all time. People from D'Angelo to John Legend were part of the album. Ex-Factor was one of her great songs on that album. She wrote and produced the song of A Rose is Still a Rose for Aretha Franklin. Lauryn Hill was the first woman to win five times in the Grammys at one night. Afterwards, she worked on music, celebrated culture, and raised a family. By 2019, she recorded a song called Guarding the Gates. To me, Lauryn Hill is the greatest woman hip hop artist of all time period. She is one of the greatest MCs of all time too. At what she does, she is the best. Lauryn Hill helped to grow and revitalize hip hop and neo-soul after the deaths of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. Lauryn Hill has a dignity, insights, beauty, and wisdom beyond her years truly. We, as a people, always loved her talent. Lauryn Hill inspired people like Solange, Beyonce, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Rapsody, Janelle Monae, Normani, and other artists. Lauryn Hill brought an additional soul and vigor into the long legacy of black musical, excellent artistry. She is our hero and our champion.  I wish Sister Lauryn Hill more blessings.

Now, tons of people are talking about Kwame Brown. He came into the league 20 years ago, starting with the Washington Wizards. He has criticized comments made by Stephen Jackson, Matt Barnes, Jemele Hill, Stephen A. Smith, Charlemange, and other people. What is the truth? The truth, like in many of these cases are nuisance. First, I will show where I agree with Kwame Brown and what I disagree with him on later on. First, Kwame Brown is right that many people have demonized him in vicious ways during his basketball career. His career is not equivalent to Lebron or Jordan, but he played in the NBA for over 10 years, provided for his family, and made a long living in basketball including outside of it. So, Kwame Brown has the right to defend his honor or integrity as a man. He is also right that the corporate media uses many mouthpieces (both black and white) to promote the status quo, demonize black men, and harbor a hostility toward political incorrectness. We have seen this time after time again. The words of Kwame Brown exposing colorists (like Gilbert Arenas, etc.) and self hating types of black folks are what we black people say behind closed doors and in public. So, he is right on that point. Also, we have a serious problem of women haters like Tommy Sotomayor and Kevin Sameuls demonizing black women, so I want to make that clear.

Kwame Brown is right to advocate against compromising to the powers that be. Here is what I disagree with him on. He allies with outright extremists and self haters like Candace Owens, Tommy Sotomayor, Kevin Samuels, and Donald Trump. That is blatantly wrong. All of those 4 characters either said racist comments, sexist comments, or self hating comments about black people. Also, Kwame Brown is wrong on his comments on Breonna Taylor. He said that Taylor didn't deserve to die, but since she was hanging with an unruly crowd, her death was imminent. That is a load of nonsense. Breonna Taylor was never a drug mule, her boyfriend was not a felonious criminal, and the police actually got her house mistaken for another house. Taylor's death was unjust period. Kwame Brown is wrong for criticizing Democrats constantly, but he has no smoke for the GOP making voter suppression bills law, using policies to end environmental regulations, and glorifying the evil of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. He is silent on those things, because he is a far right black conservative. At the final analysis, equal rights and justice are no threats to anyone's lives. Having a clean environment protected by the government, having voting rights federally protected, having police brutality gone, and growing public investments in fighting poverty just make perfect sense.

Rememberance.

Yesterday, it was a year after the unjust police murder of George Floyd Jr. by the Minneapolis police in broad daylight. For us, who are black people, it's a tragic anniversary to put it lightly. We have been the victims of overt terrorism by racist terrorists for over 5 centuries now. We have a long legacy of heroes throughout the African Diaspora who fought for us from Harriet Tubman to Benedita da Silva. Derek Chauvin (who was recently convicted) put his neck on George Floyd's neck for more than 9 minutes. Floyd said that he couldn't breathe and called for his mother. It was one of the saddest chapters in American history. Also, this injustice has motivated black people and people of every color to stand up for justice worldwide. It resulted in racist monuments to come down, laws to be changed, the Confederate flag banned from Nascar stadiums, and the growth of the largest anti-racist, anti-police brutality marches in human history. Yet, so much needs to be done, and we have a long way to go in making sure that liberation is the order of the day not bigotry. Bystanders begged the police to stop abusing Floyd. George Floyd's family continues to suffer pain, but they are very courageous to speak truth to power. Our Brothers and our Sisters deserve dignity, respect, and human liberty without exception. The 2020 protests existed in Minneapolis and worldwide in over 2,000 cities and towns. About 15-26 million people worldwide demonstrated for our black lives. These protests were multiethic, multinational, and muti-generational. This movement filled with workers, the young, the old, and other human beings shows us that our voices aren't silent.

Our voices are real. This time comes in the midst of the pandemic, massive economic inequality (as the super wealthy have record profits at the expense of the working class and poor. We see 412 new billionaires created in 2020. This has never happened in human history), political polarization, and other issues that make us clear to see that racial justice and economic justice must be made real for all. Let's not forget that the Trump administration also used authorities in D.C. to harm peaceful protesters, so Trump can use his photo op at a church (making a sacrilegious mockery of the Bible). National Guard and military agencies were in more than 30 states with over 96,000 troops. It was the biggest unrest in America since the 1960's and the American Civil War. The irony is that the far right seeks to minimize the corruption found in the police institution (some in that institution act as occupying forces promoting class oppression) while dehumanizing the innocent victims of that institution. So, George Floyd has changed the world as his daughter has proclaimed. We still have to fight for our rights as black people. We have to unify among the working class and the oppressed. Justice for all is what we desire fully. Also, I believe in justice for black people. Black unity is what we stand for. Black life is part of me, as I am a black man. One of the gifts of us black people include our resiliency, our intellectual creativity, and our strength. We are the first humans on Earth, and no one can be free until black people are free.

Black Lives Matter.

Right now, the BLM Sasha Johnson is fighting for her life. The reason is that she was shot by 4 men in London. Her friends and supporters want accountability. She was at a party. Also, she is a 27 year old mother of three children. UK BLM activists have stood up against police brutality for years. The common misconception is that the United Kingdom is some oasis or Utopia of racial harmony. Nothing can be further from the truth. Far right racists are found all over the UK who believe in the lie that only white people deserve to live in the UK. We know from historical evidence that black people and people of color lived in the United Kingdom for centuries and thousands of years. Not to mention that the Jutes, the Angles, and the Saxons didn't originate from the UK originally but from Germany. They came into the UK during the end of the Western Roman Empire. I know my stuff now. Sasha was a victim of death threats. Sasha's friend Chantelle Lunt (another activist) has received death threats too. Sasha Johnson is part of a political party called TTIP or Taking the Initiative Party that wants diversity in public office. Sasha Johnson helped to organize protests in fighting police brutality and institutionalized racism in the UK. We wish Sister Sasha Johnson a full recovery. The cause of black liberation is always just and sacrosanct.

We have numerous vaccination milestones today in dealing with the pandemic. Now, the United States of America have 50% of all American adults fully vaccinated. That is a long, huge accomplishment amidst a long time of pain and suffering among many human beings. The Biden administration has the goal of having 150 million adults or about 70 percent of the population to be vaccinated by July 4, 2021. 25 states and the District of Columbia have half of the adult population fully vaccinated. The Moderna people say that their vaccine is 100 percent effective for kids between ages of 12 to 17. As sporting events, businesses, and more restaurants open, we witness more people coming into these places for the sake of experiencing some measure of happiness. As for the elderly, 73.9 percent of all elderly Americans are fully vaccinated. About 40 percent of the total American population is fully vaccinated. One poll says that 45 percent of people will continue to wear their masks. Cases continue to decline in the United States of America.

GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said an anti-Semitic comment that the government mandating mask wearing is equivalent to the Holocaust. Not only are her comments evil and disgusting. They represent the minds of racist extremists like Greene. There is no place for anti-Semitism period. Those, who exploit the suffering of Palestinian people, as an excuse to promote anti-Semitism are people that I don't support or respect. Palestinian people deserve liberation without anti-Semitic rhetoric. We know that hate crimes have increased in the Jewish community worldwide too not just in the States. In America, many Jewish people have been hit by poles, one menorah was spit on, synagogues being vandalized, and this must stop period. Rep. Greene once again showed her true colors, and she should be banned from holding any office in Congress. It's that serious. Kevin McCarthy is a coward who refuses to condemn the comments of Greene until very recently. Many GOP members are silent, except for Cheney, Romney, and a few people in Congress. There is no excuse for anti-Jewish hate. The Holocaust murdered millions of Jewish people. Some of my ancestors are actual WWII veterans who liberated people in Europe from Nazi tyranny, so this is very personal with me. Therefore, Marjorie Taylor Greene is about white racist hate, offensive harassment of progressive people (she is a liar for called BLM a terrorist group), and bigotry. Her views have no place in any society.

9/11 and Other Information Revealed.

For years, there has been business relationships between the Bush and Bin Laden families. Back then, few people knew of this fact. Now, we do. Obama bin Laden's brother was Salem. The English media has shown a photograph from 1971. It displayed Osama when he was 14 and Saleem when he was 19. They were in a summer holiday at the Astoria Hotel in Falun, Sweden. The Bin Laden family had immense wealth. In June of 1977, George W. Bush formed his own drilling company called Arbusto Energy (Arbusto means bush in Spanish). This was based at Midland, Texas. Like his father's business, George W. Bush's oil business was back by businessmen like Houston businessman James R. Bath. Bath had links to Saui Arabian sheiks.  Time reporters Beaty and Gwynne suggest in their book that the $50,000 Bath invested in Dubya's Arbusto Energy drilling company may have belonged to Bath's Saudi clients since the Houston businessman "had no substantial money of his own at the time." At the time of the investment, Bath was a representative for Saudi businessman Salem bin Laden, the oldest son of Mohammed bin Laden, founder of the Saudi Binladin Group, the largest old construction company in Saudi Arabia. Bath's business partner Charles White later became involved in a legal dispute with Bath, during which he claimed that Bath had actually invested in the company on behalf of bin Laden and other Saudi businessmen. Both Bath and Bush have denied this, and according to journalist Craig Unger, who examined the relationship between the Bushes and Saudi financiers in his 2004 book House of Bush, House of Saud.. Journalist Steve Coll, whose book The Bin Ladens examines the family's history, mentioned that there is no evidence to support the claim. In 1984, his company merged with the larger Spectrum 7, and Bush became chairman. The company was hurt by decreased oil prices, and it folded into HKN, Inc.  Saleem died in a plane crash in 1988. The Washington Post reported that the Carlyle Group (which supported investments globally) met at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C. one day before 9/11. In that meeting were former President George H. W. Bush and Shafiq bin Laden or the brother of Osama bin Laden. Shafig bin Laden is an investor. George H. W. Bush would make many speeches years ago on behalf of the Carlyle Group. No commercial planes, including chartered flights, were permitted to fly into, out of, or within the United States until Sept. 13, 2001. After the air space reopened, six chartered flights with 142 people, mostly Saudi Arabian nationals, departed from the United States between Sept. 14 and 24. One flight, the so-called bin Ladin flight, departed the United States on Sept. 20 with 26 passengers, most of them relatives of Osama Bin Laden.

The 9/11 Commission report was a very important part of our history as human beings. The report is formally named the Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States. This is a governmental report whose purpose is to find the events leading up to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. It was prepared by the Kean/Hamilton Commission at the request of then President George W. Bush and Congress. People can download the whole report for free. The commission was established on November 27, 2002 (442 days after the attack) and their final report was issued on July 22, 2004. The report was originally scheduled for release on May 27, 2004, but a compromise agreed to by then Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert allowed a sixty-day extension through July 26. The commission interviewed over 1,200 people in 10 countries. It reviewed a half million pages of documents including closely guarded classified national security documents. It used the FBI's PENTTBOM investigation. After releasing the report, commission chair Thomas Kean declared that both Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were "not well served" by the FBI and CIA. The 9/11 Commission was a middle of the road report. It denied that the Saudi government conspired the attacks or funded attacks, but even the report admitted that Saudi Arabia ws the primary source of Al-Qaeda funding. That is a contradiction. We can all agree that the hijackers came from all over the world, and they were members of al-Qaeda (which is a terrorist organization led by Osama bin Laden). The Commission is right to say that Saddam Hussein never assisted Al-Qaeda to carry out 9/11 attacks. The commission report chose to place blame for failure to notify the military squarely upon the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Ben Sliney, FAA operations manager at Herndon, Virginia, and Monte Belger, FAA Acting Deputy Administrator on 9/11, both stated to the commission that military liaisons were present and participating in Herndon's response as the events of 9/11 unfolded. Sliney stated that everyone who needed to be notified, including the military, was. The Commission wanted a creation of a National Intelligence Director over the CIA and the FBI and changes to security and immigration policy. As time went on, we know that parts of the 9/11 Commission report was a whitewash with blatant omissions and conflicts of interests.

One of the biggest whitewashes of the 9/11 Commission report is that it omitted the whole story about warnings of terrorism against 9/11 prior to the attacks. While the report did describe that "the system was blinking red" and that an al Qaeda attack was imminent, it did not include the testimony of former CIA director George Tenet to the commission in January 2004, in which he claimed to have given a specific warning to the Administration in a July 2001 meeting with Condoleezza Rice. Commission members Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton stated that they had not been told about the meeting. But the Boston Globe reported that "it turns out that the panel was, in fact, told about the meeting, according to the interview transcript and Democratic commission member Richard Ben-Veniste, who sat in on the interview with Tenet." George W. Bush waited until 2002 to form the Commission. Henry Kissinger was head of the Commission. So much outcry came about this that he resigned over conflicts of interests as Henry Kissinger is totally in league with the establishment. The members of the 9/11 Commission are Chairman Thomas Kean (He was the former Republican Governor of New Jersey). Vice Chairman Lee H. Hamilton (a former Democratic House Representative of Indiana), Richard Ben-Veniste (Democratic attorney part of the Watergate investigation), Max Cleland (a Democrat from Georgia and a former Senator), Fred F. Fielding a (Republican), Jamie Gorelick (a Democrat and former U.S. Deputy Attorney General in the Clinton administration), Slade Goton, Bob Kerrey, John F. Lehman, Timothy J. Roemer, and James R. Thompson. Other people on staff are Philip D. Zelikow, Christopher Kojm, Daniel Marcus, John J. Farmer, Dieter Snell, Janice Kephart, and Alvin S. Felzenberg. Some have compared this Commission to the Warren Commission. Former NJ Governor Thomas Kean was on the board of Amerada Hess petroleum company and had dealings with Saudi interests.

The irony was that Senator Max Cleland was expelled from the 9/11 Commission when he asked too many important questions. He said that, "As each day goes by, we learn that this government knew a whole lot more about these terrorists before September 11 than it has ever admitted.'" (Senator Max Cleland, member of the official National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Against the United States quoted in the New York Times, October 27, 2003). Max Cleland also said that, "If this decision stands, I, as a member of the commission, cannot look any American in the eye, especially family members of victims, and say the commission had full access. This investigation is now compromised." Max  Cleland accused the Bush administration of delaying access to vital documents in an effort to run out the clock on its investigation. The 9/11 Commission refused to investigate Cheney's energy task force documents, all of the warnings of attacks using planes as weapons, the CIA/National Reconnaissance war games that took place on 9/11, and the radar tapes and tapes of air traffic controllers in the FAA on 9/11. Philip Zelikow co-authored a book with Condoleeza Rice before 9/11. The 9/11 Commission omitted Osama bin Laden's ties to U.S. Intelligence when Bin Laden fought the Soviets in Afghanistan during the 1980's. Kean is a director of petroleum giant Amerada Hess, which in 1998 formed a joint venture--known as Delta Hess--with Delta Oil, a Saudi Arabian company, to develop oil fields in Azerbaijan. One of Delta's backers is Khalid bin Mahfouz, a shadowy Saudi patriarch married to one of Osama bin Laden's sisters. According to a 1998 Senate testimony of former CIA director James Woolsey, powerful financier Khalid bin Mahfouz’s younger sister is married to Osama bin Laden. (US Senate, Senate Judiciary Committee, Federal News Service, 3 Sept. 1998, See also Wayne Madsen, Questionable Ties, In These Times,12 Nov. 2001). The 9/11 Commission allowed Bush and Cheney to give their testimonies together instead of separately.

Philip Shenon, a reporter for The New York Times, in a book released in February 2008, entitled The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation claims that Zelikow had closer ties with the White House than he publicly disclosed and that he tried to influence the final report in ways that the staff often perceived as limiting the Bush administration’s responsibility and furthering its anti-Iraq agenda. According to the book, Zelikow had at least four private conversations with former White House political director Karl Rove, and appears to have had many frequent telephone conversations with people in the White House. The Commission staff kept a record only of calls Zelikow received, but Government Accountability Office records show his frequent calls to the 456 telephone exchange in the 202 area code used exclusively by the White House. Also, the book states that Zelikow ordered his assistant to stop keeping a log of his calls, although the Commission's general counsel overruled him. Zelikow had pledged to have no contact with Rove and Condoleezza Rice during his work for the 9/11 Commission.

Commission chairmen Lee H. Hamilton and Thomas H. Kean accused the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of making a conscious decision to impede the commission’s inquiry after the agency received a memorandum prepared by Philip D. Zelikow, the panel's former executive director. Zelikow prepared this memorandum after former commission members reviewed thousands of classified documents following the disclosure that the CIA in November 2005 destroyed videotapes documenting the interrogations of two al-Qaeda operatives.  In January 2008, NBC News released an investigative report on the 9/11 Commission's use of information acquired by torture of detainees, The 9/11 Commission omitted Able Danger. Former Senator Bob Graham, the co-chair of an earlier congressional report into the 9/11 attacks, has called for re-opening an investigation into Saudi funding of the attack and the declassification of documents discussing the subject, including 28 pages from that report. Lee Hamilton is a member of the CFR along with Jamie Gorelick. Timothy Roemer and other people in the Commission complained about access issues in forming the results of their investigations.

Former U.S. Senator Mike Gravel gave a National Press Club speech on 9/9/10 saying: "The [9/11 Commission's] investigation was not what we call an investigation. It was to develop a storyline of what happened to be fed to the American people and to receive their acquiescence. Victims' family members ... have said that only a fourth of their well researched questions were answered."

The Pentagon is located at Arlington County, Virginia. It is the famous headquarters of the United States of Defense. It is one large symbol of the U.S. military. Its architect was the American George Bergstrom. It was built by the contractor John McShain. September 11, 1941 was when ground was broken to build the location. It was dedicated on January 15, 1943. It has 7 floors and 6,636,360 square feet. Its parking has 67 acres. Colonel Leslie Grove was responsible for overseeing the project for the U.S. Army. It is the world's largest office building with 150 acres of floor space where military people and civilian employees work at. On September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 77 was hijacked and flown into the western side of the building, killing 189 people. Of those killed, 64 were on the hijacked airplane, and 125 were in the Pentagon.  It was the first significant foreign attack on Washington's governmental facilities since the city was burned by the British during the War of 1812. Before the Pentagon, the headquarters of the Department of War was the headquarters of the Munitions Building. It was build during World War  along Constitution Avenue on the National Mall at Washington, D.C.  Now, the Pentagon building has 2 basement levels and five ring corridors per floor with a total of 17.5 miles of corridors. The Pentagon includes a five-acre (20,000 m2) central plaza, which is shaped like a pentagon and informally known as "ground zero", a nickname originating during the Cold War on the presumption that it would be targeted by the Soviet Union at the outbreak of nuclear war.

Stimson told U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in May 1941 that the War Department needed additional space. On July 17, 1941, a congressional hearing took place, organized by Virginia congressman Clifton Woodrum, regarding proposals for new War Department buildings. Woodrum pressed Brigadier General Eugene Reybold, who was representing the War Department at the hearing, for an "overall solution" to the department's "space problem" rather than building yet more temporary buildings. Reybold agreed to report back to the congressman within five days. The War Department called upon its construction chief, General Brehon Somervell, to come up with a plan. Governmental officials agreed to have the Federal Office Building Number 1 to be where the Pentagon would exist across the Potomac River in Arlington, County, Virginia. Contracts cost totally 31.1 million dollars (or $423 million in 2019). The building has the Hall of Heroes since 1968 to celebrate the Armed Forces. The Pentagon is not without controversy. Many people in the Pentagon have legitimately defended democratic values. Yet, other people in the Pentagon have been involved in nefarious actions including promoting unjust wars for decades (as part of the military industrial complex). We know that the CIA is complicit in Operation Phoenix, agreement with the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, and other disgraceful acts since 1947. There was a massive protest of the Vietnam War On October 21, 1967 including a sit in. These ca. 30,000 protesters were part of the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam (or MOBE). 2,500 armed soldiers protected the pentagon. The Weather Underground Organization bombed a fourth floor women's restroom to disagree with the Nixon administration's bombing of Hanoi during the end of the Vietnam War (which was a war crime). By March 17, 2007, 4,000 to 15,000 people (estimates vary significantly) protested the Iraq War  by marching from the Lincoln Memorial to the Pentagon's north parking lot.

September 11, 2001, coincidentally the 60th anniversary of the Pentagon's groundbreaking, five al-Qaeda affiliated hijackers took control of American Airlines Flight 77, en route from Washington Dulles International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport, and deliberately crashed the Boeing 757 airliner into the western side of the Pentagon at 9:37 am EDT as part of the September 11, 2001 attacks. The impact of the plane severely damaged the outer ring of one wing of the building and caused its partial collapse. The area of impact had renovations, so fewer people were injured.

One myth is that view that no plane hit the Pentagon on 9/11. This myth is common among many people who are sincere and others who are outright disinformationists. One such person is Steve Pieczenik. He was an assistant and chief anti-terrorist hostage negotiator at the State Department to Rockefeller allied members Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, George Shultz, and James Baker. He listed himself as member of the AFIO and the National Military Intelligence Association. He was a member of the CFR too, which is an establishment organization. He was an ally of the Reagan administration and is a reactionary person. Joel Skousen promotes the no-757 hit the Pentagon myth too. Joel is the nephew of the Mormon Cleon Skousen (he wrote the 1970 conspiracy best-seller 'The Naked Capitalist' (largely a review of Carroll Quigley's book 'Tragedy and Hope'). The Skousens have ties to the Council for National Policy. The CNP is a far right organization (who abhor the separation of church and state, many human rights, and other legitimate progressive views) with establishment ties. Oliver North and the Blackwater founder Erik Prince are members of the CNP. Many witnesses have said that they saw an airplane crash into the Pentagon. Images show debris of an airplane surrounding the Pentagon area. Quotes from the aftermath of the crash site offer no proof that something other a 757 hit the building. So, a 757 plane hit the Pentagon.

After the crime of 9/11 existed, a new era of world history commenced. Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda once again showed their cowardice. The neo-conservatives and other extremists used the 9/11 attacks as the pretext for them to promote the war on terror including passing new laws that violate our civil liberties (including the rest of our democratic rights). After 20 years, more people know of the truth. While this is going on, the elitists and the one percent has expanded their wealth resulting in an increase of economic inequality. The Project for a New American Century document, which was made by neo-conservatives, wanted American hegemony to spread worldwide, especially if a Pearl Harbor like event happened. By 9/11 on 8:30 pm., President George W. Bush gave his speech about the attacks. Soon, his approval rating soared into 90%. Rescues happened. The world sent humanitarian aid to help the victims. By September 20, 2001, President George W. Bush wanted to have a war against terrorism to defend freedom in my mind. New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani's prominence increased, but people had to fight to prevent all of the steel from the Twin Towers to leave NYC. Relief efforts helped the victim and their families. The government was under a continuity of government status until February of 2002. Also, the government was restructured to create Homeland Security in 2002, and the USA Patriot Act was passed in 2001. The Patriot Act had an ambiguous definition of terrorism and increase the power of law enforcement to deal with privacy issues. The NSA increased is powers. Not to mention that militarized police grew nationwide. Hate crimes against Muslims, Sikhs, South Asian Americans, and other human beings came shortly after the attacks in America. To his credit, President George W. Bush said that Muslims are not to be blamed, Muslims should be treated with respect, and that Muslims made many contributions to American society. Muslim Americans condemned the 9/11 attacks in uncompromising terms. These organizations included the Islamic Society of North America, American Muslim Alliance, American Muslim Council, Council on American-Islamic Relations, Islamic Circle of North America, and the Shari'a Scholars Association of North America. Along with monetary donations, many Islamic organizations launched blood drives and provided medical assistance, food, and shelter for victims.

From September 11, 2001, White House officials like Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld wanted his aides to find evidence of Iraqi involvement. There was known. By September 15, 2001, the Bush administration didn't attack Iraq in response to 9/11. U.S. and NATO forces came into Afghanistan to fight the Taliban and al-Qaeda by October of 2001. Bush and his team said that they wanted to bring bin Laden and the al-Qaeda network to justice. On September 14, 2001, the U.S. Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists. Still in effect, it grants the President the authority to use all "necessary and appropriate force" against those whom he determined "planned, authorized, committed or aided" the September 11 attacks, or who harbored said persons or groups. U.S. military forces invaded Afghanistan along with British forces. Special Forces were on the ground. The Taliban ended their total control of Afghanistan with the Fall of Kandahar on December 7, 2001. The Afghanistan war continues to this very day. Thousands of people were sick from the toxic debris having 2,500 contaminants including carcinogens in Lower Manhattan. Many people died. Christine Todd Whitman, administrator of the EPA in the aftermath of the attacks, was heavily criticized by a U.S. District Judge for incorrectly saying that the area was environmentally safe.  Mayor Giuliani was criticized for urging financial industry personnel to return quickly to the greater Wall Street area.

On December 22, 2010, the United States Congress passed the James L. Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, which President Barack Obama signed into law on January 2, 2011. It allocated $4.2 billion to create the World Trade Center Health Program, which provides testing and treatment for people suffering from long-term health problems related to the 9/11 attacks.  The WTC Health Program replaced preexisting 9/11-related health programs such as the Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program and the WTC Environmental Health Center program. Massive job loss happened as a result of the attacks too. There was an increase of more church attendance, public expression of patriotism, and shows reflecting this patriot fervor during the initial aftermath of 9/11 too. The unjust Iraq War came about by the Bush administration who promoted the myth that Saddam Huseein (who was once aided by America during the 1980's. Hussein shook Donald Rumsfeld's hand in 1983) had massive quantities of weapons of mass destruction. That was not true. The war on terror caused massive wars, destruction of infrastructure, the refugee crisis, the growth of imperialism (Pentagon's Northern Command is highly powerful. We know of NATO's bombings of Libya including black Libyans being murdered by racists), Big Brother's expansion (with the NDAA, the NSA being caught having warrantless wiretapping, etc.), and other foreign policy crises.

Nancy Woodson was my 7th great grandmother. Nancy was part of the Iroquoian speaking Nottoway people. After the 1676 Virginian civil war called Bacon's Rebellion, the Nottoway people negotiated articles of peace with special commissioners representing King Charles II. They lived in Southampton County, Virginia. By the twentieth, many Nottoway people married into other ethnic groups like black Americans and white Americans. Many of their original lands were sold. Nancy Woodson and Mike Bozeman had the following children of Amy Woodson, Winny Woodson (who was my 6th great grandmother), William G. Woodson, and Jincy Woodson.  In the Nottoway language, ena means mother and akroh means father. Nancy Woodson signed deeds on behalf of the Nottoway tribe in 1794 and 1795 (along side James Woodson and Henry Woodson who may have been Nancy's brothers or uncles). Nancy was born close to the French and Indian War. William G. Woodson was living with his father Mike Bozeman in North Carolina. The Quakers taught him to read and write. Jincy Woodson married James Taylor. James was born in the mid 1790's. James Taylor was a black man. Jincy Woodson and James Taylor had the children of Robert, Benjamin, and John Taylor. Robert lived at Petersburg, Virginia as a carpenter with his wife. John Taylor worked his community and sol his 1855 allotment to Nottoway Edwin D. Turner. Winifred (Winny) Woodson had these children with the African American Burwell Williams: Patsy Williams-Crocker, John Williams, Sally Williams, and Mary Woodson Williams (she was my 5th great grandmother who lived from 1811 to 1870). Mary Woodson Williams married a Nottoway descendant named Parsons Turner (b. 1814). Their children are: Milly Woodson-Bozeman Turner (b. ca. 1831), Rebecca Woodson-Bozeman Turner (b. ca. 1829), Betsy Turner (b. 1825. She married Edwin Turner). Betsy and Edwin Turner's children (or my 1st cousins) are: Richard Turner, Darthelita Frances Turner, Virginia Turner, Mariah Turner, James Turner, Caroline Turner, and Edwin D. Turner Jr.  Darthelia Frances Turner married John Harrison Jr. on January 4, 1877 at Southampton County, Virginia.

Sally Williams married Robert Wiggins (an African American) and had the following children of: Mary Wiggins (b. 1843), Margaret Wiggins (b. 1847), Arry Wiggins, John Henry Wiggins (b.  1852), Robert Wiggins (1852-1929), Augustus Wiggins (b. 1857), and Richard Wiggins (B. 1859). These children were my 1st cousins. Augustus Wiggins married Nottoway descendant Odelia Turner. Patsy Woodson-Williams (whose parents are Burwell Williams and Winifred Woodson) had the following children with the black man named Thomas Crocker: Patsy Woodson Bozeman Crocker, Caroline Woodson-Bozeman Crocker, and Indiana Bozeman Crocker. My 4th great grand aunt Indiana Bozeman Crocker married William Richard Artis. They had the following children of Benjamin T. Artis, Caroline Artis, Mark Artis, Washington Artis, William W. Artis, Benjamin J. Artis, Clara J. Artis, Henrietta Artis, and George Washington Artis. The son of Indiana Bozeman Crocker, William Artis, moved into Sussex County and later to work with tabacoo factories of Petersburg, Virginia. His children are Kenneth and Willie Artis. Patsy Bozeman (daughter of Thomas Crocker and Patsy Williams) married a Nottoway descendant named Alexander Scholar-Stewart. Their children are Lamb, Lydia, George, and Alexandria Bozeman Scholar Stewart.

My 4th great grandmother Milly Woodson-Bozeman Tunrer married the free African American Morefield Hurst, and their children are Virginia, Cordelia, Joshua, Susanna, Tom, Josephine, Willie P., George, and Ben. Susanna was Susanna Field Hurst Turner, and she was my  3rd great grandmother. She lived from March 1862 to January 1949. She married Rev. James Thompson Claud, and had many children like my 2nd great grandfather Arthur Boss Claud. Rev. James Thompson Claud's parents were Sarah Claud and Dr. E.C. Barrett. Sarah Claud married Thomas Hill, who was a free black man. One of their children was Adeline Hill who married the agnatic Nottoway person named John Henry Williams, who was the son of John B. Williams. John B. Williams was my 5th great grand uncle. Arthur Boss Claud married Martha Jane Claude and had many children like my great grandmother Ella Claude (1913-1991). She married Fenton Albert Bynum Jr. and gave birth to my grandfather Robert (who was married to my grandmother Fannie), then she gave birth to my mother. Then, I was born.

Late May 2020 Updates.

There has been an Israeli and Hamas cease fire. It is a fragile one. Biden has put pressure on Israel to make this happen being brokered by the nation of Egypt. International pressure and pressure from many progressive Democrats wanted Biden to promote a ceasefire sooner along with having support for Palestinian liberation. It is no question that Gaza and the West Bank are filled with destroyed infrastructure, discrimination, and occupation. For a very long time, tons of Palestinians in the Middle East face dehumanization, sanitary issues, poverty, and numerous injustice. It is clear that Israeli innocent civilians should not die by missiles, it is equally wrong for Palestinian civilians to suffer death too. An Israeli life is just as valuable as a Palestinian life. The ceasefire has been planned to start at 7 pm. EST. Egypt will send a delegation to Palestine (at Gaza) and at Israel. Palestinians face also the spread of the pandemic. Biden has said that he wants to send humanitarian aid to help the human beings of Gaza to rebuild their homes and businesses. We shall see what the future ultimately will hold.

Always defending democracy is part of our lives now. The Bill of Rights has many legitimate laws that many of us hold dear. We know that Trump loyalists are questioning the 2020 election nationwide with lies and hatred. In the state of Arizona, the Republican extremists are still holding an audit when Arizona went blue for Biden. Now, the GOP have passed unjust voter suppression laws in many states. That is why we need federal voting rights protection passed as soon as possible. No one should tolerate bigotry and voter suppression injustices at all. Lawsuits and court challenges now exist in Georgia because of Georgia's draconian anti-voting law. Trump and his allies are enemies of democracy by promoting audits long after the 2020 election was over, by going out to promote racism plus xenophobia, and by many of them even voting against a Commission to find the whole truth about the January 6 insurrection against the U.S. Capitol. This is a fight for our democracy. We have to pick a side and not be politically correct. Either we are on the side of freedom and democracy or not. I made my choice. I choose to be on the side of democracy and freedom.

The House is voted on the 1/6 Commission to find out independently about what happening during the insurrection of the U.S. Capitol. McCarthy and McConnell oppose such a commission. They are wrong like usual on many issues. We have the right to decipher the truth as terrorists almost ruined American democracy forever at Washington, D.C. Many GOP members have disgracefully sugarcoated the events on January 6, even one person calling it a tourist event. Rep. John Katko of New York state has defended the deal on the January 6 Commission. The truth has the right to be known for the American people and any human being. We have to know about information about warnings, intelligence failures, disputes on response times, and if any Congressperson aided the terrorists who stormed the U.S. Capitol. All of these inquiries must be investigated fully. Any future commission must deal with issues in a thorough, comprehensive fashion.

2 Tulsa survivors have given their testimonies to Congress. They have been brave. The Tulsa Massacre will have its 100th year anniversary on May 31, 2021. Back then in Tulsa, black people had powerful businesses and other infrastructure. White racists were jealous, and destroyed the property plus lives of the black community at Tulsa. Black people were murdered. Buildings were bombed by aircraft. Fleeing black people were forced at gun point to go into camps too. This comes during the era of Red Summer. Red Summer was a time during 1917-1922 where some of the worst anti-black pogroms existed in American history.  That time period included some of the worst times in American history. This history is real, and it shouldn't be sugarcoated. Schools across America should teach about the Red Summer. This wasn't too long ago. American slavery wasn't too long ago. My 2nd and 3rd great grandparents were slaves in America. I know their names outright, so it's personal for us who are black people. Truthfully, the black people in Tulsa deserve reparations, and black Americans in general deserve reparations completely.

Some sad news is that the legendary comedian Paul Mooney passed away today at the age of 79 years old. He was witty, powerful, and made some of the greatest analysis in exposing racism in human history. He loved his friends and children. He was born in the South at Shreveport, Louisiana. Always filled with energy, he worked with Richard Pryor in shows and movies. He later lived in Oakland, California. As a writer, he helped to write for Pryor's routines, Sanford and Son, Real Husbands of Hollywood, Judge Mooney, Good Times, In Living Color, Spike Lee's Bamboozle, and the Dave Chappelle Show. Paul Mooney said things in public that many of our people say in private about race, culture, and other issues. Paul was brave enough to speak his mind honestly. He passed away from a heart attack.

Rest in Power Brother Paul Mooney.

Getting Views Out into the Public.

As a person who has studied Middle Eastern issues for over 2 decades, we know what is going on. A far right wing administration in Israel, run by Benjamin Netanyahu, is justifying his aggressive, heinous bombing under the guise of "self-defense." The reality is that provocative events from Palestinians being evicted to the provocation at the Al Alsqa Mosque contributed to this crisis. A long time ago, the Ottoman Empire ruled the region by the early 20th century. Later, WWI ended the Ottoman Empire was gone. The British Empire controlled the region and could not end the tensions. Then, Israel was a nation. Many lands in the region were uprooted from Palestinian people. Also, massive racism, discrimination, and other forms of occupation and oppression exist in the West Bank and Gaza. Gaza is basically a prison. Sanitary issues, environmental problems, and heavy civil rights violations consume Gaza and the West Bank. Also, Netanyahu has been accused of corruption for years. He allied with far right wing interests and Gulf States have turned a blind eye to Palestinian plight. The Gulf States and Israel are funded by America in the billions of dollars regardless if the administration is Republican or Democratic. Not to mention that we see massive protests in favor of the end of the violence and chaos. Biden is acting too cool and too moderate. Biden must be brave to call what it is out in public. The status quo won't work.

Many leaders of the DSA have posted tweets celebrating the 1940 assassination of Leon Trotsky. That is wrong as assassination against innocent people is wrong and evil. This proves how the crimes of Stalinism will be forever condemned and exposed. The Stalinist GPU agent Roman Mercader was a coward and a murderer of Trotsky. Stalin promoted a massive authoritarian, totalitarian mass murder campaign. Stalin persecuted independent progressive activists in the Soviet Union via the Great Purge and other events. Stalin promoted the Moscow Trials and the Great Terror which is in violation of many democratic freedoms. During the Great Terror form 1936 to 1940, Stalin and his regime murdered over 1 million revolutionaries, poets, intellectuals, and artists. Leon Trotsky wasn't perfect, but he never ever condone the Great Terror or genocide against political dissidents in the millions. Therefore, we have to set the record straight.

Carol Leonnig's new book on the Secret Service called Zero Fail: The Rise and Fall of the Secret Service showed that some Secret Service agents expressed sympathy for the evil January 6, 2021 insurrection against the U.S. Capitol. Carol Leonnig also wrote that Presidents like Trump misused their Secret Service for political exploitation. The book also mentioned that Nixon used the Secret Service to eavesdrop on his political opponents. Trump sent the Secret Service to areas where the pandemic was spreading massively. At least over 300 Secret Service agents have contacted the pandemic. Joel Greenberg has plead guilty to six federal charges. Joel is a former Florida tax collector. He was a close friend to Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz. Joe Greenberg admitted that he knowingly solicited and paid for a minor for sex which is a felony. He agreed to work with the federal government to tell everything to the government about what he has done and knows. He plead to avoid facing 33 other federal charges. Greenberg has agreed to give tons of assistance to prosecutors. Gaetz has denied any wrongdoing, but with this new development Gaetz could be charged. Greenberg has said that he and Gaetz exchanged cash or fits in exchange for things. This also deals with the evil of sex trafficking, corruption, and the hypocrisy of the GOP claiming to be a "family values" party but having these massive scandals constantly.

41.7 percent of all American adults are fully vaccinated. The debate is about the CDC for mask wearing. The CDC wants people fully vaccinated to not wear a mask except in select locations. Many doctors and nurses oppose the measure as putting their lives and the lives of patients at risk of illness and death. Another issue is that people can lie about their vaccination status. Some major retailers drop mask requirements. Different companies will have different standard on how to promote their own mask policies. Not to mention that many children have the virus including other variants. We have a changing dynamic where older Americans are having it less and young Americans are having it more. Not to mention that the virus is very harsh in other countries like India. Biden promises to send more vaccinations to India.

It's all about intention in dealing with this issue. Does Kevin Samuels advocate for the liberation of black people globally? Does he advance the battle against the system of white racism? We know the answer to those questions. The fact that he divides people into high value and low value shows that he doesn't believe in respecting the dignity of human beings. All people born on this Earth aren't low value or high value (which harkens back to eugenic philosophy). All people are created equal in the image of God. Kevin Samuels has advocated adultery and cheating among "high value" men. That alone shows me that I don't trust him. Also, he has a sick tendency to scream at women who disagrees with him in the most wild, inappropriate ways in order to promote gender war nonsense. He believes that a high value man must make $10,000 a month or greater, work with other such men, and act in a certain way. Only 10 percent of all American men earn six figures. So, he promotes an unrealistic expectation in relationships. Kevin Samuels also sexually objectify women by judging women based on what he calls"sexual marketplace value" based on height and physical appearance. This is straight up sexism as beauty is not monolithic. Beauty is diverse. His words aren't "tough love" but misogynoir. That fact this fraud wants certain men to have mistresses proves that he is amoral and unethical. He lies and believes that black people embrace "victimhood" when white racist regardless promote the lie about how white folks collectively are more oppressed than black people collectively in America. This traitor Kevin Samuels said, "It's not about racism. It's about winners and losers" on the Lapeer Let's Talk Show. The truth is that we have to deal with racism, economic oppression, and other injustices to liberate humanity. You can't ignore racism. Also, Kevin Samuels has not concrete credentials to be a relationship expert. He was a trained chemical engineer with no background in marriage therapy, psychology, or gender related studies. He ignores the history of racism and sexism in the world in order to put context about issues that black men and black women face in our society. Kevin promotes the stereotype that black women aren't worthy of respect if they don't fall into his limited, sexist interpretation of what he deems a "high value woman." There is an article where this "guru" Kevin called a black woman a running back like Emmitt Smith, so he has no respect for black women or black people. The irony is that white racists and sexists have similar views to Kevin. Kevin exploits the pain of black people in order to promote a disturbing  Eurocentric excessive materialism and anti-black mentalities. So, now you know the truth about Kevin Samuels.

The Events of late 2020.

By August 11, 2020, America was changed forever. Kamala Harris, by that time, was the first African American and Asian American Vice Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. Starting on August 13, 2020, there was the 2020 Postal Service crisis. This started after plans were revealed about how the Trump administration and his allies wanted to remove hundreds of high volume mail sorting machines from postal facilities across the country. This was not only done to promote callousness and an anti-government ethos. It was done to try to stop early mail in voting as mail in voting, during the 2020 election, was heavily from Democratic voters. On that same day, the Pentagon reportedly started to form a a new task force to investigate UFO sightings, particularly over military bases, similar to the U.S. Navy's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. During the record breaking heat wave on August 16, a remnant thunderstorm from Tropical Storm Fausto started hundreds of wildfires in California. From August 17-20, 2020, there was the Democratic National Convention is held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with events happening virtually. Numerous political leaders, citizens, and activists were virtually expressing their ultimate goal of making Donald Trump a one term President. Delegates of the Democratic Party formally choose former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris of California as the party's nominees for President and Vice President respectively in the 2020 election. By August 19, Apple, Inc. became the first company to be valued over $2 trillion.

On August 20, 2020, Bill Cassidy (R-LA) was the 2nd senator to test positive for the pandemic. Former White House advisor Steve Bannon was arrested and charged with fraud over a fundraising campaign to build a wall on the U.S./Mexico border on the same day. He is released on a $5 million bail bond after pleading not guilty. There were protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 23 after the shooting of Jacob Blake, who was 29 years old, by a police officer. Violence happened too. On that day, the FDA granted emergency use authorization to antibody rich body plasma for the treatment of COVID-19 in hospitalized patients. From August 24-27, the Republican National Convention was held in Charlotte, North Carolina and Washington, D.C. Delegates of the Republican Party formally nominate incumbent President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence as the party's nominees for the 2020 election. The convention was filled with hate, paranoia, and outright divisive rhetoric. By August 25, 2020, 4 soldiers are diagnosed with mild concussion like symptoms following a skirmish with Russian forces in northeast Syria. There are rebellions from August 26-31, 2020. This started in downtown Minneapolis after false rumors about the suicide of an African American man being pursued by the police. 113 people were arrested. On August 26, 2 people were fatally shot overnight during unrest at Kenosha, Wisconsin. The suspect was arrested. Professional athletes also start to boycott their respective sports contests in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake. Hurricane Laura headed to the Louisiana-Texas border. It grew into a Category 4 storm. According to Forbes, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was the first person in history ot have a net worth exceeding $200 billion.

On August 28, 2020, thousands of people gathered at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. for the Commitment March in support of black civil rights. Many people came from across the United States of America and the world. Chadwick Boseman, who was one of the greatest actors of all time, died at the age of 43 years old. He privately fought colon cancer for 4 years. He starred in the epic classic film of Black Panther. On September 2, 2020, protests breakout in Rochester, New York after the police body cameras footage of the March 2020 arrest of Daniel Prude. On September 4, a Trump administration memo called for all executive branch agencies to stop funding for diversity and sensitivity training plus the teaching of critical race theory. Donald Trump supported this memo, because he is a racist. On September 5, 2020, Authentic won the 2020 Kentucky Derby. California set a new record for land area destroyed by wildfires being 2.1 million acres burned in the year so far on September 6. On September 9,  President Donald Trump was nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize by a Norwegian lawmaker for his role in facilitating the Israel–United Arab Emirates normalization agreement. Over 10 percent of Oregon's state population are reportedly fleeing from wildfires on September 10. Two Los Angeles County Sheriff Department deputies were shot and critically injured while sitting in their patrol car at Compton, California (on September 12). Hurricane Sandy on September 16, 2020 brought massive flooding to the South after making landfall. It killed 8 people and cost billions in damage. Trump promoted the historically revisionist 1776 Commission on September 17. Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on September 18, 2020. The Supreme Court seat was vacated, and Trump wanted a woman to fill the seat. On September 19, at least 16 people were shot and 2 confirmed dead in a mass shooting at a backyard party in Rochester, New York. Law enforcement officials reported the interception of a package addressed to President Trump having the lethal toxin of ricin. Microsoft on September 21, agree to buy ZeniMax Media holding company and its subsidiaries for $7.5 billion. That was the largest and most expensive takeover in the history of the video game industry.

American deaths of the pandemic reach over 200,000 people by September 22, 2020. On September 25,  President Trump unveils his "Platinum Plan" at a campaign rally in Atlanta, in which he proposes making Juneteenth a federal holiday, labeling the Ku Klux Klan and Antifa as terrorist organizations, and making lynching a national hate crime, among other socioeconomic initiatives aimed at African Americans. President Trump nominates Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat following the death of Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg on September 26. A New York Times report on President Trump's personal and business tax returns alleges years of tax avoidance and millions in debt and IRS penalties, among other allegations (on September 27). Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale is hospitalized under the Florida Mental Health Act after arming himself and threatening to commit suicide at his home (on the same day). By September 28, the  Tampa Bay Lightning defeat the Dallas Stars 4–2 to win their second Stanley Cup championship. The first 2020 Presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden took place in Cleveland, Ohio on September 29. Biden won by default. Chris Wallace tried to moderate the debate, but Trump interrupted constantly. Biden stuck with showing facts. Both showed their tempers, more so Trump.

On October 1, 2020, the pandemic reached the White House. On that day, both President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump test positive for COVID-19 and enter quarantine. Several White House staffers and multiple congress members also tested positive. The Trump administration announced plans to slash U.S. refugee admissions for 2021 to a record low–15,000 refugees, down from a cap of 18,000 for 2020. This happened, because Trump is xenophobic. The national debt goes higher than $27 trillion for the first time in American history by October 2. By October 3, multiple U.S. Senators who have attended Presidential events tested positive for COVID-19. President Trump returned to the White House on October 5 after three days of hospitalization at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. By October 7, Ruby Tuesday filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after closing 185 restaurants. Pizza Hut filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after closing 163 restaurants. Political and Cultural News in May of 2021.

Some GOP lawmakers have tried to whitewash the deadly January 6 riot. Some even want to say that the events was just a "tourist trip." It was not that. It was a vicious, terrorist attack that was treason against the United States of America. There is no other way to put it. Neo-Nazis wore anti-Semitic T-Shirts that mocked the Holocaust.  Racists waved the Confederate flag. An emblem, which celebrated John Lewis, was broken. Black U.S. Capitol police officers were called racist slurs. Some of the traitors wanted to lynch Mike Pence. This is a big deal, and our democracy survived miraculously. We know now that according to the former Pentagon chief spoke about Trump. Many police officers at that locations fought for their lives in some of the most brutal hand to hand combat in their lives. So, we know what time it is.

Now, in the Middle East, we have the worst tensions between Israelis and Palestinians since 2014. For our lifetimes, we have witnessed this conflict going out of control. Recently, an Arabic man was almost lynched by a far right wing mob, and an Israeli man was almost lynched by extremists. Both of these attacks are evil, unjust, and wrong. Israel has executed a bombing campaign in Gaza. It is no secret that Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and in Israel face 2nd class citizenship. You can't have liberation with constant occupation. It just doesn't work like that. Also, Hamas has fired thousands of rockets hitting Israel too. The civilian Palestinians being killed and the civil Israelis being killed have no justification. Hamas has ruled Gaza since 2007. Israel justifies its bombing campaign by saying that Hamas uses civilians as "human shields," but the carnage of civilian death can't be minimized. This started when Israeli forces wanted to evict Palestinians residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem. Also, conflicts happened at the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Far right Israeli extremists have called for the death of Arabic populations (and many of them are anti-black racists. Just like many people in North Africa plus in other places of the Middle East are anti-black racists). Israel using widespread evictions is wrong and has been condemned by international forces. So, provocations of warfare should end, and we don't want anyone massive war in the Middle East. Progressive Israelis and Palestinians, who desire peace, have every right to condemn together and end the occupation so people in the region (both Jewish people and Arabic people) can have a real peace with a liberated Palestinian people.

We see the GOP becoming more extreme. Trump and his GOP supporters dominate the Republican Party. Now, the GOP has pushed more than just misinformation. They have pushed lies about the gas pipeline, voting rights, and about vaccines. One example is how Majorie Taylor Greene has verbally harassed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Majorie believes in the lie that Trump didn't lose the 2020 election. Donald Trump's corruption, racism, sexism, and xenophobia are easily proven. Even a conservative like Liz Cheney has been kicked out a high level committee, because she refuses to lie about the 2020 election. They are the ultimate hypocrites. They lecture black people on victimhood, but they express the ultimate victimhood. They claim to hate cancel culture, but they want to cancel Liz Cheney and anyone who disagrees with them. They claim to love the police, but many Trump supporters cursed out and assaulted U.S. Capitol police officer during the riot insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Yesterday was the Birthday of a complete legend. His career has spanned more than 50 years, but his songwriting, singing, and producing are always on point. He is truly one of the greatest musicians of all time. Since his early days on Motown with Fingertips, we knew him as a prodigy of musical expression. He is Brother Stevie Wonder, and he is now 71 years old. He is one of the GOATs of songwriting and singing. He can play the piano, synthesizers, and the harmonica. Saginaw, Michigan was the place of his birth, and his mother was Lula Mae Hardaway. The Whitestone Baptist Church was where he sang as a child. The black church has always been a home-base of legends. His first album was in 1962 called The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie. In the 1960's, he performed greatly. He was a young teen making No. 1 hits on the R&B chart during the 1960's. Uptight was a great song. By the late 1960's and early 1970's, Stevie Wonder wanted to be his own man. So, he made adult records about the love of love itself like My Cherie Amour, For Once in My Life, Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours, etc. In the 1970's, he made classic album after classic album like Where I'm Coming From, Music of My Mind, Innervisions, Talking Book, and Songs in the Key of Life.

Songs with funky groove or with just plain talent like I Wish, That Girl, Living for the City, Superstition, Sir Duke, Do I Do, and I can go down the list represent black excellence at its finest. The gift about Stevie Wonder is that his music appears to everyone regardless of age or generation. Stevie Wonder is a political activist by fighting segregation, promoting the Dr. King federal holiday, and opposing police brutality. He is also the only artist to have won the Grammy award with three consecutive album releases. His music talks about the city, love, having children, loving music, social including political issues, and loving life. Stevie Wonder has made music in the 21st century too (with songs like So What the Fuss, From the Bottom of My Heart, and A Time to Love featuring India Arie), and he has talked about living in Ghana. He loves all of his nine children. Stevie Wonder won 25 Grammy Awards, and he is a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner in 1996. If you want to listen to some of the greatest songs of a man showing his love for the greatness of a woman, listen to his music. If you want to listen to know about love and wisdom, listen to his music. I wish Brother Stevie Wonder more success.
