Neocon Malkin Gets Donut Ad Bounced

It’s a prime example of how neocon viciousness has infected the country. “Dunkin’ Donuts has pulled an online advertisement featuring Rachael Ray after complaints that a fringed black-and-white scarf that the celebrity chef wore in the ad offers symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism,” reports MSNBC. “Critics, including conservative commentator Michelle Malkin, complained that the scarf wrapped around her looked like a kaffiyeh, the traditional Arab headdress. Critics who fueled online complaints about the ad in blogs say such scarves have come to symbolize Muslim extremism and terrorism.”

In a normal, non-neocon world, Dunkin’ Donuts would have told Malkin and her fellow travelers in hatred and mass murder to take a hike. But we no longer live in a sane world. Instead, the neocons have infected the highest level of government and easily intimidate the spineless politically correct types who occupy corporate suites, afraid to take a stand and oppose such idiocy because it may reflect upon profits.

Malkin’s poisonous intimidation tactics are also aimed at the imagined opposition in Hollywood to the District of Criminals. “Malkin noted that it could appear at times that actor Colin Farrell, rapper Kanye West and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean have been photographed in similar scarves that were ‘distinctive hate couture,’” a disgusting turn of the phrase haute couture, French for “high dressmaking,” no doubt a play on words Malkin finds clever. Instead, it is a vicious play on words right out of the neocon atelier, or workshop, a prêt-à-porter for the torture and murder of Muslims.

“Amahl Bishara, an anthropology lecturer at the University of Chicago who specializes in media matters relating to the Middle East, said complaints about the scarf’s use in the ad demonstrate misunderstandings of Arab culture and the multiple meanings that symbols can take on depending on someone’s perspective,” explains MSNBC.

Indeed, it may be a misunderstanding, but it is also an attempt to demonize all things Arab and Muslim, as the neocons are determined to take their depraved “clash of civilizations” agenda to its logical if not malicious conclusion — the destruction of Arab and Muslim culture and the reduction of the Middle East to a smoldering wreck, that is with the exception of Israel, the neocon Arcadia, where the remaining Arabs will serve as hewers of wood and drawers of water.

Malkin is simply doing her part. She may not even realize she is a disposable pawn, little more than a chit and useful idiot, as the neocons consider all below them as little more than cattle, even “conservative” bloggers who write about rounding up Muslims and slapping them in concentration camps. But this may not matter to her, so long as her ego is massaged and she is occasionally allowed to appear on Faux News with the real players, such as Bill Kristol and the star neocons, who consider themselves Leo Strauss’ “philosopher kings,” destined to rule over us, the lessers, including Michelle Malkin.
