Thanksgiving in 2010 Part 3

Nazism Revived (or the new Gilded Age)
In the 21st century, many things from the past are repeating itself. Some of the exact wicked doctrines of Nazism are revived in our day and age. Our economic crisis is a precise repeat of what occurred in the Gilded Age as well. This article will be about exposing the new Gilded Age in the 21st century. To go further, you have to comprehend what the Gilded Age was all about. The Gilded Age was a period of American history that lasted from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This time marked the era when the Oligarchs controlled most of the economic power in the world not only in America. Barons like the Vanderbilts, the Rockefellers, and others promoted monopolies, lived in luxury, and exploited the poor. There were migrant families living in tents and slums in a high level back then. Greed dominated the Gilded Age. In that era, there were still real people fighting for the interests of the poor and the destitute. Even, Dr. Martin Luther King exposed the greed in the world by saying that: "...Capitalists of the West [are] investing huge sums of money in Asia, Africa, and South America, only to take the profits out with no concern for the social betterment of the countries." The Progressives fought against the Oligarchs during the Gilded Age. Some of their leaders were Upton Sinclair, Jane Addams, Charles Beard, and Eleanor Roosevelt. I agree with the Progressives on some issues (like promoting public safety, unions, etc.) and disagree with them on other issues of course. They influenced the creation of the New Deal plus Social Security. In that age, there was unequally distributed income existing like today. Policies did little to make economic balance. Even with FDR's flaws, the New Deal caused the Great Compression. The Great Compression was the growth of the middle class that decreased the total wealth that the richest 10 percent of the American population own. From the 1940's to the late 1970's, there weren't extremes of poverty, there was a strong minimum wage, a progressive tax system helped to limit inequality, etc. Democrats and Republicans had more views in common and people reached across party lines more readily to solve problems. Then in the late 1970's, the fascists made the comeback to earn more record wealth at the expense of the poor. This period lated form ca. 1979 to the present or the great divergence. Between 1979 and 2005 the real income of the median household rose only 13 percent, but the income of the richest 0.1% of Americans rose 296 percent. This has been contributed by globalization. Today, we live in a new world of counterrevolutionary threats. Neo-conservative extremism (as promoted by George W. Bush, Newt Gingrich, etc.) lust after philosophies from the Gilded Age. The Gilded Age from 1870 to 1932 promoted the deregulation of labor practices and slave labor plus the murder of strikers. Our new Gilded Age from ca. 1979 to the present promoted the deregulation of labor practices, outsourcing, unemployment, and executives stealing retirement funds.

Both eras have the deregulation of food inspection leading to food contamination (into beef, poultry, vegetables, and othe foods). The robber barons used deregulation of financial activities that contributed to the 1929 Market Crash plus the Great Depression. In the 21st century, the deregulation of financial activities lead to Wall Street scams, economic depression, FED bailout of major banks, prime mortgage crimes, worker destitution, and S&P 500 CEO median salary of $8.4 million. In our time, the elite flaunt their crimes against people like election fraud, mortgage scams, war profiteering, taxpayer money to big banks, and destroying our civil liberties. The people does little or nothing about it. A very few obscenely rich people owning companies and corporations and having illegally seized state and federal political power--is one reality which we can and must change.
Rand Paul is promoting the same policy of Austrian economics. This form of economics is extreme. Rand Paul and his ilk is trying to force Barack Obama to cut much of the social safety and get rid of federal spending across the world. This policy will cause people to die literally. Rand Paul loves the CATO Institute's "Downsizing the Federal Government" by neo-con Chris Edwards and the evil book "The Road to Serfdom" by Frederick von Hayek. Chris Edwards is recommended by Rand Paul in that Paul wants to cut some programs. He wants to cut the Army Corps of Engineers and NASA (or our scientific edge). Edwards wants the land to exist where Oligarchs dominates our land. Edwards wants to crush Medicare (to have vouchers), Medicaid, and Social Security (and privatization of Social Security, which is evil). Edwards wants to cut the Department of Education and he desired a privatized the post office. This is a fruit of radical free trade Austrian economics. This is anti-American since even the Constitution calls for a federal post office. Hayek wants to target American political structures and seek to crush nationalism. Hayek attacked Henry Carey and even Abraham Lincoln. Austrian economists desire a feudalist system of government. von Hayek attacked scientific achievements and denied that individuals are capable of scientific development. The truth is that man has the right to use the human mind to harness technology and use science to grow the essence of society. Rand Paul wants to cut vital entitlements. These guys like Paul support an agenda that want to crush the social safety net (Schumpeter and his predecessors, Nietzsche supported similar acts). Former Republican Senator Alan Simpson and ex-White House Chief of Staff Erskine Bowles, the co-chairs of the President's debt commission (calls for cuts and only tax increases on gasoline). Indeed, after the Simpson-Bowles show today, several of their own commission members, including Congresswoman Jan Shakowsky (D-Ill.), came out saying that the scheme they presented was totally unacceptable. The AFL-CIO also immediately denounced it. Tax cuts for the rich alone don't radically increase the ecnonomy at all. Keeping tax cuts for the rich will increase the deficit by $700 billion.

Fascism didn't die with WWII. It still exists now in 2010. Now, in the 1922 meeting of the Klan, it grew about 30,000 members from Chicago and northern Illionis. Even President Woodrow Wilson was a passionate supporter of the Klan and New York banker Otto Kahn was an admirer Mussolini. Some Americans have stayed true to the essence of freedom and resistance to evil. Yet, other Americans have been Nazis and Nazi sympthatizers. There has been the fascist policies of budget cutting that is common in America. The eugenics movement in America and the UK inspired the fascist movements in Germany with Hitler and Itlay with Mussolini. This philosophy existed from social Darwinianism too (that have the policies of race science, cost cutting, slave labor, and chauvinism). This is apart of pessimism instead of hope in the human race. Today, some of these teachings are common among people like Newt Gingrich and other reactionaries. The Labor movement and other people prevented fascism from having a stronghold in America. Eugenics and fascism were common in America in the 1920's and the 30's. These movements were supported by Presidents, bankers, the press, institutions, think tanks, etc. The Harriman family, Woodrow Wilson, President Teddy Roosevelt, Harvard, Yale, Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, the University of California, Stanford, etc. supported eugneics. You can look that up. Even John Dewey believed in some tenets of eugenics. Eugenics caused bigoted anti-immigrant laws to exist like the Johnson Act of 1924. Groups like the American Protective League, the Klan, and the American Legion (all fascist groups) wanted anti-immigrant and anti-poor programs too. The American Legion back in its 1923 Convention endorsed Mussolini. With President Calvin Coolidge in the audience, Legion Commander-in-Chief Alvin Owsley praised Il Duce and added: "The American Legion is fighting every element that threatens our democratic government--Soviets, anarchists, IWW, revolutionary socialists, and every other red.... Do not forget that the Fascisti are to Italy what the American Legion is to the U.S." Wilson supported the racist film "Birth of a Nation" and did nothing to stop the terrorism of the Klan in America. The Klan had more than 4.5 million people during the 1920's in Indiana, Ohio, Oregon, and California (not just in the South). Some fascists in the South wanted to promote the Confederacy that hated technological progress and wanted to degrade human labor. These Agrarians against supported Mussolini. Mussolini was praised by the New York Times when it was controlled by the Meyer Family. Mussolini was supported by the U.S. bankers (like his own banker, Bank of America head A.P. Giannini). Thomas Lamont, of Morgan Bank, served as the international chief of Mussolini's finances, and was lavish in his praise for the fact that Mussolini had balanced the budget, and laid low communism. He sent his aide, John J. McCloy, to work with Mussolini for a year's "training." Mussolini destroyed unions too. Freemason Hjalmar Schact financed Hitler and had an "anti-inflation" policy that cut down living standards (which is commonly promoted today by the GOP). Anti-legal immigration is a view that has been supported by eugenicists and enemies of God for decades. It's now common knowledge that Prescott Bush, the Thyssen family, and others either financed Hitler or financiallly benefited from Adolf Hitler. Today, we have creeping fascism in America. For the past 30 plus years, we have our living standards decreasing (which started probably as early as the late 1960's with stagflation).
There are plenty of economic notes on the Nazis. Some of this information is what I known for the first time in my life. It's a known fact that the Nazis restored the Gold standard back in 1934 (with help from the Reichs Minister of Finance Freemason Hajamar Schacht). They've deregulated much of the public and privatized institutions. The highly regulated media and school system was done to show propaganda to the masses in Germany. The Nazis hated the Social Democratic Party, because they supported labor unions and workers' rights. SDP responded to labor massacres with street brawls with the Nazis. The Nazis hated any dissident cliques that are opposed to their agenda not just the Communists. They or the Nazis hated welfare as well, except if it's for the wealthy class. The Nazis catered to the interests of the aristocrats industralists and financiers who had supported them. The Nazis also got rid of the sick, disabled and falsely classified lazy people. This is why the Nazis murdered those who were the sick and ill. This included euthanasia and abortion for non-Aryan human beings. The Nazis were anti-Civil Rights, anti-Equality, and anti-Public accommodations for ethnic groups or the handicapped. The survival of the fittest mentality, the hate mongering rhetoric the anti-social justice, the anti-intellectual, and anti-education agenda are all apart of the Nazi mentality. I don't need the Heritage Foundation and FOX News to learn real history. Unregulated or Deregulated or poorly regulated Capitalism is economic Social Darwinism against the Sick & other people. Italy had a Gold Standard before Mussolini & Mussolini kept the Gold Standard throughout his regime. Mussolini had same anarcho-Capitalist domestic economy ike the Nazis had. Like the Nazis, he privatized nearly all public & government institutions. He cut & then eliminated all taxes on the wealthy. He deregulated Italian market & cut all taxes on big business. Fiat, Ferarri, Lamborghini & all Italian businesses were left alone by Mussolini. Like the Nazis, Benito Mussolini crushed Labor Unions & cut wages by 50% on workers already paid meager wages.
There was the great German hyperinflation of 1922 to 1923. This proved that hyperinflation can cause a great depression. It was caused by the private Reichsbank that Hjalmar Schacht admitted was independent from the government back in the 1920's. This gave total private control over the German currency causing the worst inflation in modern times. This inflation was already started by the immense, unrealistic reparations that the German people were forced to pay to the Allies after World War One. Schacht is telling us that the excessive speculation against the mark -- the short selling of the mark -- was financed by lavish loans from the private Reichsbank. The margin requirements that the anti-mark speculators needed and without which they could not have attacked the mark was provided by the private Reichsbank! So, a privately owned and privately controlled bank (according to Stephen Zarlenga's "The Lost Science of Money" on pgs. 579-587) made loans to private speculators. This caused them to speculate against the nation's currency. According to Stephen Zarlenga, "Whatever other pressures the currency faced (and they were substantial), such speculation helped create a one way market down for the Reichsmark. Soon a continuous panic set in, and not just speculators, but everyone else had to do what they could to get out of their marks, further fueling the disaster..."

There is a new political situation in America. There is divided government. In the future, more political parties should exist instead of just 2 major ones with all of the political power in America. Some believe that gridlock will occur in America. Voters voted many Democrats out of office, because of some of their corrupt policies not because they wanted reactionary Republicans to take over Congress. For the first time since World War II, the House of Representatives has changed hands without being accompanied by the Senate. Some voters opposed cap and trade since it distracted from real environmental solutions like building green jobs, having a handle on rainforest problems, and developing alternative sources of energy. Some Republicans are being funded by the Koch Brothers, the US Chamber of Commerce, the Republican Governors' Association, and other corporate interests. This is why super rich reactionaries lost like Whitman, Fiorina, MacMahon, Raese, and others. They may be right on some issues, but they also embrace very pro-Wall Street policies. Today, in 2010, we have the replay of the fascists like in 1932. The Republicans are really silly to think that xenophobia and archaic economic views would get them more votes in the long term future. George Schultz and Rupert Murdoch are 2 leaders of the Right Paradigm. Schultz was the king maker that promoted Arnold Schwarzenegger and the neo cons in the White House during the Bush Jr. years (like Condoleezza Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, etc.). The mainstream Tea Party have taken Schultz' bait, but some of them are being more extreme. Some don't even want unemployment benefits given to those suffering in the USA for the sake of debt talk. There is no freeze on foreclosures that even President Barack Obama don't want. The Tea party crowd (like Wall Stret ideologue Rick Santelli of CNBC) don't want people to know that international corporations are intentionally hoarding trillions of dollars of cash since they want to (and they rather have more tax cuts and giveaways than radically improving the economy in a populist fashion). This crowd wants tax cuts for the rich, cut federal spending (even on legitimate programs), loot Social Security plus Medicare, end nearly all federal regulations (even on mine safety, offshore drilling, etc.), etc. This is while America is suffering. Tax cuts for the rich don't work when corporations are having record low taxation already. In particular, the Republicans always argue that if their wealthy clients and rent seekers receive more money, they will immediately go out and invest in plant and equipment and create jobs. This is a total mythological fallacy. Wealthy investors simply do not invest in plants, various forms of equipment, and jobs in the United States any more. The reason is that the profit rates are far too low. They send their cash overseas as hot money to speculate in the most lucrative emerging-market casino of the moment. The Constitution in Article 1, Section 8 says that Congress can broow money on the credit of the USA. So, Congress not the free market should regulate our currency. One of the time-tested tactics left over from the FDR-haters of 75 years ago is the argument that any federal powers which are not included on the list of Congressional purviews in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution are unconstitutional and inadmissible. Yet, the Constitution says that Congress can provide for the general welfare of the people in the United States. The Constitution also mentions that Congress can pass laws that can execute powers by the government. So, Congress can create new laws to help people via contingencies and this isn't unconstitutional at all. Fascism is here in America. There was the American Legion having Benito Mussolini speaking in its 1923 Convention. Mussolini was on the cover of the Fortune Magazine in the 1930's.
As we can see, there is a war against Social Security by the corporate establishment. I feel like I'm living in the Bush/Cheney era Part 3. As long as I live, I will take action to oppose the wicked system in the world. I don't care what the world thinks about me since I still have love for the real people in the world. This agenda of cutting Social Security and Medicare has been promoted by the Peterson Foundation, the corporate media, Wall Street, and some folks of both parties for decades. Even Medicaid is under attack now. Ironically, these proposals are occuring under a Democratic President. The draft edition of the Commission on Fiscal Responsibility is clear about what it wants. They want to cut Social Security benefits and raise the retirement age (that can grow the unemployment rate), and lower taxes for the wealthy plus big corporaitons. Other provisions desire instituting co-payments for all veterans medical services, etc. This agenda relates to austerity and stabilizes the national deficit. Probably a compromise will occur, but these measures will harm the working people and the poor in America. Many people are silent since numerous organizations don't know that these draconians proposals even exist. Also, the corporate media have been great in promoting the lies to the people that Social Security is insolvent and that entitlements are the problems instead of corporate crimes against human beings (spanning thousands of years) plus other evils. Transnational vulture capitalists want to cut Medicaid, etc. since it will financially benefit their power. Gentrification, imperial wars, and other issues should be addressed in our community.

People have learned lessons form the Great Depression before. FDR made a public works programs to get people to work. It cost 4.8 billion dollars in the Works Progress Administration to get things moving. The WPA caused people to construct buildings, and other infrastructure. Some folks escaped poverty and starvation. The economy started to grow again. FDR used an executive order to give money to create jobs. The WPA was quickly implemented. By March 1936, 3.4 million people were employed and an average of 2.3 million people worked monthly until the program ended in June 1943. During its existence the WPA employed more than 8,500,000 different persons on 1,410,000 individual projects, and spent about $11 billion. The average yearly salary was $1,100, a living wage at the time. During its 8-year history, the WPA built 651,087 miles of highways, roads, and streets. It constructed, repaired, or improved 124,031 bridges, 125,110 public buildings, 8,192 parks, and 853 airport landing fields. Now, our infrastructure in America is falling apart. About 15 million people are without a job, and a million and a half of them are construction workers. There is a need for a direct jobs programs (including the need to create jobs from the TARP money system). It can't add to the deficit since it was already appropraited money. Extremists believe that any government intervention to help citizens is socialism and that to spend any money will radically increase the deficit. Anti-union and anti-worker policies have stagnated our economy as well. Yet, some Republicans desire to promote tax cuts for the rich and hostility toward immigrants and Muslims. Even real green jobs are better than having no jobs whatsoever in America.

Conclusion
2011 is almost here. Thanksgiving is a day of being thankful of life and counting the blessing that you have. Some people are less fortunate and it's certainly legitimate to do our best to help the poor. This activity could be a constant duty in order to fight the prevailing complication of poverty in America plus the world. I've never quit in life. I still love my own people and all peoples worldwide. There's nothing soft about me. I'm still a strong black man with intellectual prowess and social discernment. All of these years past by and there is new generation even younger than us coming up. I'm from Generation Y and these new kids are from Generation Z that are bringing their unique culture and cultural awareness to the table. The WWII Generation is increasingly passing away. The Baby Boomers are now seniors now. Generation X are in their 30's and 40's. Some members of Generation X are getting gray hair, so times are changing in a huge scale. Regardless of the changing times, if we maintain real, core convictions and follow righteousness, we will fine in the final analysis.
Christian persecution have increased since the war on terror came about worldwide. Compass Direct News from November 5, 2010 reported on this persecution against Christians. Muslims have beaten with bricks and hockey sticks a Christian clergyman since he was a vicitm of a fatwa demanding his death. This occurred in November 1, 2010 in Islamabad. The Rev. Dr. Suleman Nasri Khan is a former fighter in Afghanistan before his conversion to Christianity in 2000, suffered a serious head inquiry, a hairline fracture in his arm and a broken bone in his left ankle in the assault by 10 Muslim extremists, etc. He was able to identity 2 of them as Allama Atta-Ullah Attaria and Allama Masaud Hussain. The attack in Chashma (new Iqbal Town in Islamabad) followed Islamic scholar Allama Nawasish Ali's October 25th fawta (or religious ruling) to kill Khan (or the the pastor of Power of the Healing God's Church in the Kalupura area of Gujrat city). A mufti or Islamic scholar and member of Dawat-e-Islami, which organizes studies of the Kuran and Sunnah (or the sayings and deeds of Muhammad). Ali is authorized to issue fatwas. Khan is 34 and he relocated to a rented apartment in Islamabad after fleeing his home in Gujrat because of death threats agaisnt him and his family, he said. The fatwa is following by many Muslim radiclaly. It was issued after Khan protested anti-Christian violence in Kalupura last month. Muslim extremists who learned of his conversion had first attacked Khan in 2008 killing his child, 3-month old Sana Nasri Khan. He and wife Aster Nasri Khan escaped. Christians have died in Iraq. Muslims set fire overnight to at least 10 houses belonging to Coptic Christians in a village in southern Egypt over rumors that a Christian resident had an affair with a Muslim girl. The attacks started after locals spotted a young Copt and a Muslim girl together at night inside the village cemetery, the officials said. They added that both were put under police custody as authorities investigate. Christians in Iran are reporting that Pastor Youcef Nardarkhani has been sentenced to death for what is called a 'thought crime." The Pastor Youcef is a leader in the Full Gospel Church of Iran network. Many members of that church has been imprisoned. The Iranian government also threatened his wife with life impriosnment. They have threatened to take away their 2 children too. 88 Christians have been arrested in Iran alone since 2010. 18 are still in custody and 65 have been released. This hatred of Christians by radical Muslims is purely evil and satanic.

The lame duck part of Congress allows many Republicans to dictate the agenda. The Republicans are of course supported by the ruling class in America. The Democrats still have large majorities in this session so far that includes almost 100 Democratic Congressmen (and Senators who were either defeated for reelection or retired from office). In the 3 days since the session opened in November 15, the Republicans have snubbed overtures from the White House. The Republicans torpedoed a top policy initiative of the Obama administration. They sought to dictate monetary policy to the Federal Reserve Board and blocked an effort to improve the pay status of working women. The Republicans canclled a November 18 summit meeting between Obama and top congressional Democrats plus Republicans (since the Republicans said that they wanted more time for internal disucssion and preparation). It or the meeting was reset for November 30 after the Thanksgiving holiday. This delay makes it far less likely that the talks will lead to any legislation passing the lame duck session. It will occur when the unemployment benefits will begin expiring for some 2 million jobless workers. Congressional action is required before then to maintain the distribution of unemployment checks averaging $300 a week. Republicans are a disgrace of not wanting these benefits to exist for families hurting in the world. Harry Reid said that he will consider an extension of tax cuts for the wealthy as a dead to extend all of the tax cuts enacted under the Bush administration in 2001. They are set to expire in December 31. Barack Obama said that he wants to extend the cuts for only making $250,000 a year or less. He criticized the Republicans for backing the continuation of the tax cuts for the wealthy since it will cost 700 billion for over 10 years. After the November 2 election, Obama and Reid said that they would back a temporarily 2 year extension of all tax cuts (even those for the super rich). Republicans like Senator Jon Kyl want to kill the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia. There must be a 2/3 vote of the Senate to ratify the treaty (or 8 Republicans must join the 59 Democrats to win approval). Kyl later said that he might support ratification since the government promised him spending on U.S. nuclear weapons and weapons spending. Even warmongering and the U.S. foreign policy establishment like Henry Kissinger and George Schultz wants the START Treaty rartified. Kyl rebuffed pleas from the Pentagon brass that ratification means resumption of access to Russian nuclear sites for US military observers, which ended last December with the expiration of the previous version of the treaty. Some people have concerns over Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke having conerns over the FED using $600 billion program of purchasing U.S. Treasury bonds. Some Republicans want price stabilization and not have quantitative easing. It's easy to see that high interest rates can drive up unemployment. Volcker, a Democrat, did this as FED Chairman during the 1980-1982 recession (he raised interests rates as high as 20 percent). The Republican Party took over most of the House. Nancy Pelosi is the new minority leader when some Blue Dog Democrats opposed her since they are more conservative. The Republicans blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act, which passed the House last year, and would strengthen enforcement of equal pay for women workers performing the same jobs as men. One Democrat, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, joined 40 Republicans in upholding the filibuster that killed the bill. One Republican, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, did not vote. Nelson is a known sellout. The bill would have amended the existing Equal Pay Act by requiring employers to demonstrate that differences in pay rate for comparable jobs were justified by training and experience. According to the Labor Department, the median weekly earnings for full-time women workers were $657 in 2009, compared to $819 for men. This is the new reality in America and we have the right to fight for a better reality.

The TSA Abuse opens the door for resistance. September 11, 2001 was the beginning of the decade of fear and the war on terror. People are relying on an oppressive system to protect themselves. Homeland Security was formed. Its security measures were imposed on the populace and most of them accept it. Even in Germany, people are protesting against the naked body scanners there. Nearly a decades after the tragic events of 9/11, resistance have been started by the outrageously intrusive security measures on the part of the Transportation Security Administration. The TSA's enhanced patdowns allow people to put hands down passengers' pants. This has caused a widespread outrage. Airports are recognizing the extent of the discontent as Florida's Sanford airport is opting out of the TSA screening choosing to use a private security firm. Alexis de Tocqueville's study of history showed him that socieites don't usually fall because of tyranny from outside nations explicitly. In his 1835 book Democracy in America, Tocqueville wrote, “A nation that asks nothing of government but the maintenance of order is already a slave in the depths of its heart; it is a slave of its well-being, ready for the man who will put it in chains.” The issue of TSA abuse is a high profile case of tyranny and debasement that is reminding the naiton of this central truth which Tocqueville knew that: "...despotism corrupts the person who submits to it far more than the person who imposes it.” In other words, if evil occurs in a nation, it's ruins the victims of it more than the person who starts the evil in the first place from a mental standpoint. There is a widespread media attention to the growing resistance against the TSA abuse. It shows America that they aren't alone in their anger. The public doesn't want the government to literally put its hands in their pants. The government shouldn't be doing this at all. It's wrong to have fusion centers to collect information on Americans illegally as well. The government is going too far in society too.
