The Summer of 2012 Part 2

Government Politics in 2012

American politics has been strange and interesting. The political system has been dominated by the following entities: the Trilateral Commission, the Ford Foundation, the RAND Corporation, the Chicago School, Skulls and Bones, and other like-minded organizations. Today, elitists use concepts of terror and humanitarianism as an excuse to justify the Machiavellian policies of empire, Malthusian-like population control measures, and neo-liberal globalization. The various color revolutions in the world have been funded by the CIA/NED (or National Endowment for Democracy) factions for years. The new tactic that the establishment uses is called "left wing cover." This means that some politicians may show a tolerant face, but they are as reactionary as George W. Bush and his neo-con handlers. For example, people like George Soros, Bill Gates, and Rahm Emanuel act like they are for the common people, but they are for the war on terror, population control, anti-civil liberty laws, and the status quo like their Republican counterparts. Yet, this doesn't mean that we should be anti-environmental extremists. We should continue to oppose industrial pollution. The BP Gulf oil spill and the Fukushima disaster threaten our environment. The extinction of flora and fauna can come about as a result of these eco-disasters. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney has been denounced as war criminals, which is accurate and true characterizations of both of them. Yet, some of these same critics of the Bush/Cheney regime are silent on the drone attacks in Pakistan, the U.S. bombings of Somalia, Africom's neo-imperialism inside of the Motherland of Africa, and the civil liberty violations & record police brutality (occurring against the rich, the poor, the middle class, whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and the whole nine yards) transpiring in America. The mainstream media is complicit in advancing deception too. The mainstream media sympathized with the terrorists in Libya committing genocide against black Libyans and they now support the terrorists in Syria doing damage in Syria. As for immigration, many reactionaries want to militarize the border. As I get older, I have been fortunate enough to decipher the complexities about immigration. There are extremists that either want all or most legal immigration to cease or ally with xenophobic ideologies. I support fair, equitable, and intelligent immigration reform. Our immigration problems has exacerbated as a product of NAFTA style trade agreements. NAFTA obviously was a CFR-supported law that harmed middle class & poor American workers. We shouldn't promote division since it's a historical fact that Dr. Martin Luther King and Cesar Chavez were contemporaries and allies of each. They respected each other, so I don't agree with tensions between Black people and Hispanic people (especially on this issue). As a black man, I will forever agree with Black Unity and Black Power. The 1% wants to protect the property and interests of the corporate elites and the super rich at the expense of the working class and the poor.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich believes that HR 568 and the NDAA can pave the way for a Western attack in Iran. The House introduced HR 568 in order to scuttle any significant talks with Iran. The Ohio Democratic Congressman said the following: "...Congress is considering two pieces of legislation relating to Iran. The first undermines a diplomatic solution with Iran and lowers the bar for war. The second authorizes a war of choice against Iran and begins military preparations for it." Section 6 of the HR 568 bill doesn't want any policy that would rely on efforts to contain a nuclear weapons capable Iran. Section (7) urges the President to reaffirm the unacceptability of an Iran with nuclear-weapons capability and opposition to any policy that would rely on containment as an option in response to Iranian enrichment." In other words, the legislation would sabotage talks with Iran that are scheduled for May 23 and all but ensure an attack on the country. The bill promotes possible war even if Iran has nuclear capability, which is different from developing nuclear weapons. Iran is peacefully developing nuclear power and energy. Iran is permitted to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes according to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. The IAEA, the CIA, the Mossad, and The President's Defense Secretary Leon Panetta have all said that Iran is not developing nuclear weapons at this time. Dennis Kucinich believes that HR 4310 or the National Defense Authorization Act can being military preparations for war. Section 1221 makes military action against Iran an U.S. policy and Section 1222 directs the Pentagon to prepare for war. "A plain reading of these provisions in H.R. 4310 taken together with H.R. 568 makes it clear: Congress is setting the stage for war with Iran," he warns. On May 16, we reported U.S. ambassador to Israel, Daniel Shaprio, told a closed conference in Tel Aviv that the United States has completed preparations for a military strike on Iran. His comments were recorded by a reporter and aired on Israel's Channel 2 TV and scantily reported in the United States. I definitely believe in negotiation to solve problems without warmongering. The corporate 1 percent should have no cultural or social domination of the rest of us.

It's not surprising that Rand Paul supports Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is a Goldman Sachs funded type of individual and he agrees with the concept of warmongering. Yet, our political issues extend beyond Rand Paul. We have to have a tolerant conscience. That means that we will not agree on every single issue. Yet, just because a person disagrees with me on a point, doesn't mean I want to repress their liberties. All human beings have the right to live and function in the world without repression, without discrimination, and without violations of their inborn freedom. In my nation of America, it took heroes to suffer jail, humiliation, torture, beatings, and even death for us to experience a much more progressive society. We still have a long road ahead us to witness a more open minded society. There are ignorant people that express cruelty to people who are in a certain size or weight, who have a certain physical appearance, who are in a specific gender, who are in a different race or ethnic group, who have different, unique eclectic tastes, who are in a different nationality, who speak with a certain accent, and those who live in a certain lifestyle. Yet, we should believe in compassion and understanding for all people without prejudices or narrow-minded thinking. For we are all equal in the eyes of God. Unjust anger and political repression haven't cease even in 2012. Yet, It is just to permit more mobilization, more organization, and extra activism in order for us to be truly free. The President of the United States Barack Obama said that he will not deport young children who are undocumented immigrants (that were brought into America by their parents). He proclaimed that his policy is humane and tolerable. Anti-immigrant advocates claim that the President is too pro-immigration, but the President deported more immigrants from the USA than the previous administration. This new policy is hardly extreme and I have no major issues with it. These young kids have no control of whether they come into America or not. This is a temporary solution, which should be a signal that a comprehensive solution to our immigration issues ought to be made manifest. Many of the same Republicans criticizing the White House (like Lindsay Graham and John McCain) are the same ones that advanced immigration reform policies. They are hypocrites. These Republican hypocrites won't expose how NAFTA and GATT harmed workers in Mexico and America (that caused jobs to be shipped overseas to hurt middle & working class families). To assume that an immigrant ought to have no human rights whatsoever is being a reactionary and an extremist point blank period. A human being should have basic human rights period. All men are created equal. The immigrants are the victims of the agenda of the power elites. We should still try our best to end the stop and frisk (evil racial profiling-like policy) duties spreading in New York City. 87% of the people searched in these stop and frisk practices are found innocent. Even in mostly white neighborhoods of Tribecta, the Upper East Side and in Greenwich Village, most people stopped and risked are Black Americans and Latino Americans. According to the NYCLU, police used force – i.e. handcuffing, frisking, drawing weapon, restraining – about 50 percent more often on blacks than on whites in 2006. This disgraceful policy is the legacy of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who claims to be an independent politically. Yet, he's like George W. Bush in terms of his actions on issues of civil liberties and human freedoms. Also, we should not be like the reactionaries and some Republicans that disrespect the President (like finger waving at President Barack Obama, interrupting him during him making a statement, or any form of disrespect). We should respect the President as a man. If we disagree, we can disagree in a cogent, tolerable fashion. Now, we can do something about our problems. We can give money to charities and real organizations. We can vote and protest in the world. We can participate in independent programs to help out society via numerous ways. We can treat people with dignity and respect. We can defend the oppressed and use strength to advance righteousness. I will never be ashamed of the truth. I am still alive and dreams are great to adhere to.

World History 1500 to the Present

World History from 1500 to the Present represents the modern era of human existence. The end of the Middle Ages caused numerous great events. The massive growth of science, technology, inventions, and large political organizations characterize our time. A lot of evil is in this era as well. There was imperialism by Europeans and others, wars, oppression, and other nefarious activities. Geographic influences always related to world history. For example, the rivers and oceans in the world allows civilizations to promote transportation, farming, and the growth of towns & cities. Mountains can be used for protection and the creation of unique cultures. valleys in the world can allow for the land to be fertile in order for nations or empires to flourish. During this time period, the Renaissance was important in Europe. The Renaissance was an European artistic movement where they revitalized art from ancient Greco-Roman culture. Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, and other artists devised detailed images, paintings, and sculptures of figures plus other creative aspects of the Earth. The Reformation is one of the most important times of human history. It changed the world. The Reformation was about Protestant breaking away from the heresies of Romanism, which included indulgences (during that time. An indulgence is a bribe in which a person can try to go into Heaven. That's silly), unmarried priests by forced, and the authority of Pope. The actions of Martin Luther, John Calvin, Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, and other typify the essence of the Reformation era. This period is characterized by international trade massive between the Old and New World. Also, there was the usage of the printing press that increase the spread of works and documents. It allowed a movable type in allowing words to spread quickly on parchment or paper. The common man soon gained access to wisdom and knowledge surrounding the globe. Africa, Asia, Australia, the Americas, Oceania, and other places in the world advanced great civilizations. There were the universities of Timbuktu, there were the advanced empires of China, and there were the developments made by the Aboriginal peoples of Australia. Imperialists unfortunately led a campaign of terror to harm Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Another key point of this modern time period was the advent of Revolutions. The American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and others were about people rising up against monarchy or established reactionary governments. The hatred of monarchy has been a common themes among numerous revolutionaries. Even today in 2012, there is the Arab Spring trying to overthrowing the dictatorial governments of the Middle East.

One of the greatest parts of World History was when nationalist and independence movements grew after the end of WWII. One of the many positive products of World War II was that overt colonialism died. European imperialism was destroyed impart because WWII ravished Europe. Europe was nearly destroyed and the Europeans didn't have the time nor resources to maintain colonialism in other places globally. Even the charter of the United Nations granted guaranteed colonial populations the right of self-determination. As Dr. Martin Luther King eloquently said, people have the right to execute self-determination. Therefore, areas in Africa and Asia fought for independence beyond the interests of European imperialists. Jomo Kenyatta's leadership caused the Brits to leave Kenya. He organized (with the help of the Mau Mau and others) to defeat the British forces. It was these revolutions that ended this tyranny by some of the Europeans. Some force were involved in these special revolutions, but was the American Revolution nonviolent? Was the War of 1812 nonviolent? Was the Civil War to defeat the Confederate rebels nonviolent? Was WWII to ended fascism in Nazi Germany nonviolent? So, sometimes it is necessary to have self defense in order for human beings to have their own liberation. Now, this post-WWII revolution caused more Africans to have more respect of their cultures and heritage. Economic exploitation is evil. Great Britain, France, Belgium, and Portugal lost their colonies in the period after WWII. Most peaceful acts came in the liberation of West Africa. Nigeria, Ghana, and other nations became independent rapidly after WWII. There was the war on independence in Algeria that caused Algeria to be freed from France domination. In South Africa, it took long decades for South Africa to extinguish the retrograde policy of apartheid. Nelson Mandela would become the first black President of the Republic of South Africa. India is a special situation too. For centuries, those of the British Empire oppressed the Indian peoples via colonialism, discrimination, and oppression. Leaders like Gandhi activated boycotts and nonviolent protests in order for India to be liberated from British domination. Mohandas Gandhi popularized the acts of civil disobedience and passive resistance (or the refusal of human beings to follow unjust laws even risking jail time) in India. Gandhi tried his best to bridge the gap (or the social, political, and religious differences) between Muslims and Hindus, but the division was so great that something occurred. Mostly Muslim peoples formed Pakistan and India is a mostly Hindu nation. India today is the world's largest democratic nation. India is a federal system with giving many powers to the states. For the record, yes, I oppose the caste system, color discrimination, and any form of bigotry. There are the nations of Bangladesh (called East Pakistan years ago) and Sri Lanka (which was formerly called Ceylon). Now, Jawaharlal Nehru was a close associate of Gandhi. Nehru wanted a western style industrialization in India. He helped to establish the 1950 Constitution that sought to prohibit caste discrimination. Then and now, there are ethnic and religious liberty issues in India. India is very much growing economically as well.
