Important News

Senator Diane Feinstein gave a speech on the Senate floor. She gave clear and direct evidence of crimes against the U.S. Constitution (and the democratic rights of the American people). She accuses top officials of the Central Intelligence Agency or the CIA of intimidation, obstruction, and spying on the Senate Intelligence Committee (which she chairs). She is accusing the CIA of high crimes. Feinstein has longstanding and close ties to the intelligence agencies, which she has categorically defended throughout the months of exposures of illegal spying by the National Security Agency. Yet on Tuesday she gave an hour-long speech in which she charged the CIA with spying on and withholding documents from Congress as part of an attempted cover-up of the program of torture the agency carried out under President George W. Bush. That is ironic to say the least. In her speech, she gave a detailed narrative of the CIA’s criminal action. She talked about the attempt by CIA Director John Brennan to intimidate the Senate Intelligence Committee and derail its investigation into the Bush era crimes by accusing committee staffers of stealing classified documents and demanding that the Justice Department launch a criminal investigation. Brennan was the director of counter terrorism under Bush. Brennan was impacted in the torture program. The intelligent agency is accused to have operated outside of all legal constraints, rejects any genuine congressional oversight, and functions as a law unto itself. Some in the media are reporting in the story. Yet, some of the media just call it a turf war between the CIA and the Senate. The corporate media fail to mention that the actions of the CIA spanning decades have been a violation of the separation of powers and checks and balances between all branches of government. The CIA’s subversion of the Senate probe into its activities—including its refusal to sanction the publication of a declassified version of the Intelligence Committee’s 6,300 page report—is a milestone in the establishment of a de facto dictatorship of the military/intelligence establishment over the people. We know about the secret detention centers globally that hold and torture prisoners being run by the CIA. The CIA ordered the removal of certain documents. The CIA allowed the destruction of 92 videotapes of CIA torture including water boarding back in November of 2005. We have witnesses almost a decade and a half after the stolen election of 2000. We see an escalation of democratic rights under Democratic and Republican Presidents. We see the growth of social inequality and increasing militarism including war in the world. The political establishment is committed to the status quo.

Economic justice is an important agenda that we must fight for. The poor are exploited all of the time. The poor are forced to serve the interests of the rich and to the state enforced at gunpoint. The promises that the wealthy and the powerful make to the poor are readily broken all of the time. If someone borrowed money from the Bank of America and have a late payment or series of them, the full force of the state could force the debtor to pay a fine or face imprisonment. The poor is promised good paying local jobs by the corporate elite. The catch is that the corporations allow for tax breaks for the rich, ending of legitimate environmental regulation, and the increase of corporate welfare. Many corporations lie all of the time. The President promised to see NAFTA renegotiated the increase of the minimum age in his first months of office, to close Guantanamo, to create a path to citizenship for the undocumented, to make union organizing, easier, etc. These promises were not only made to the middle class, but to poor people. Many of these promises are not in existence now. We witness wealthy interests dominate political matter. We witness the growth of the Pentagon, Wall Street including London bankster, and charter schools. We see private contractors financially benefiting from imperialism. We see that the torturers did not stand trial at all. We witness greedy drug companies and private health insurers refusing to advocate universal single payer health care. Many public educational schools have been privatized. This reality has existed before President Obama was President. It is about a system that advances this reactionary agenda. In modern society, the wealthy elite’s interests are advanced beyond the rights of the poor. The good news is that childhood obesity rates have declined recently. So, we can cherish that great development. Any legitimate effort to promote healthy eating among children and real exercise among the youth are things that I graciously support. This battle is a long one, but real human beings are fighting for the interests of the youth all of the time. We wish this Lets Move effort the best. More importantly, we wish for children to achieve their dreams and aspirations in their own lives. So, we are fight for truth and justice. We know that the Republican Party of the 1860’s or during Reconstruction is not today’s Republicans (who are very reactionary). The Democrats today are not the Democrats of the 1860’s either (or the Dixiecrats who stood in the door to prevent Black children from having educational freedom). Richard Nixon was considered right wing when he was President. Now, he is called a center left figure today. This is how extreme some in politics are. There are attacks on the Voting Rights Act now. Both major parties have been corrupted by their subservience to corporate money and interest. Racism cuts across the political spectrum. Yet, reactionaries typically are more overtly racists than the liberals. For the reactionary KKK, the American Nazis, the white militias, etc. have virulent racism in them. Neither liberals nor socialists formed the racist lynch mobs or repressive racist police. They did not bomb our homes and churches in Alabama and Mississippi at all. The greatest enemies of Black America and of humanity in general come mostly from reactionary, white supremacists. So, we should fight poverty too.

You can call the President many things, but he has a very aggressive foreign policy agenda. Cheney is a hypocrite by criticizing a sitting President when his Iraq War agenda has definitely caused huge problems in the world, whose issues continue to this very day (when Iraq is struggling to maintain its infrastructure in the midst of sectarian tensions). The situation in the Ukraine is complex. Both the West and Russia have made errors, but this situation has a long history. The pro-Western media has ignored many things. It has ignored how a gun attack occurred against pro-Russian activists in Eastern Ukraine (inside of the city of Kharkov). It has ignored how many of the opposition figures (not all of them) are pro-fascists and even pro-neo-Nazis. Much of the coup has been funded by USAID interests. Crimea and Donbas asserting their right of self-determination is things that I will not lose sleep over. The new regime in Ukraine is a pro-EU/US puppet regime. A Russian presence in Crimea where no massive attacks have occurred is not equivalent to an invasion of the whole nation. IMF interests and Western oil companies love to fund Ukraine. The new Prime Minister of Ukraine has accepted some IMF loans. The new Kiev regime banned the Communist Party and the Regions’ Party (the biggest party of the country, mainly supported by the Russian-speaking workers). The regime’s first decree banned the Russian language from schools, radio and TV, and forbade all official use of Russian. A video showed a Right Sector fighter mistreating the city attorney while police looked other way. They began to hunt down riot policemen who supported the ex-president, and they burned down a synagogue or two. The Right Sector terrorists have done other evils that I can't mention here. So, we know what the deal is. Russia has not been perfect in its actions, but the Ukrainian nation has every right to be a free, independent nation without domination from the EU or Western elites. There is much hypocrisy involved in this situation. The US/NATO forces have wanted to encircle Russia for years. America supported the reactionary forces in Ukraine against what they call the dictatorship of Ukraine’s once elected President. Yet, the U.S. supports the governor of Michigan when he engineered the passage of anti-democratic legislation that allowed him to impose a one person dictatorial regime over the people of Detroit. Congress has members want to give one billion dollars of short term aid to the Ukraine, yet they refuse to give a financial package to assist the victims of cruel capitalism inside of Detroit. Many Republicans pretend to be fiscal conservative except when they want to cut state expenditures for working class and poor people in the U.S. The Times editorial further argued that since President Yanukovych left the Ukrainian treasury bare, the West should provide immediate assistance. But what about the people in Detroit, whose government coffers were left bare as result of the predatory looting by big banks that targeted African American families with sub-prime loans and floating interests rates that resulted in them losing their homes? Where is their relief? Secretary of State John Kerry talked about trumped up pretext of Russian troops being in Crimea, but the U.S. used trumped up information about WMDs as a means to executed the illegal invasion and destruction of Iraq (by Western forces). When America violates the sovereignty of other nations via drone strikes, military intervention, and political subversion, then it is hypocritical for the same Western elites to lecture on violation of international law. It was the NATO war criminals that destroyed the Libyan state too. Ukraine has recently passed laws that strip away the rights of the people to practice their culture and their language. The Western elites want Ukraine to be more European and capitalist not independent. We should continue to be anti-imperialist.

I don't get it. Bill O'Reilly talked about black youth in terms of stealing hubcaps. He said a slur on his show and he mocked black people before (I have his quotations for those who don't believe me). O'Reilly is also ignorant. You can ban all rap music and make music more malleable for mainstream America, but you will still get poverty, racism, and discrimination (if these issues are not addressed in a comprehensive fashion). At the heart of the problem is that we have to address the SOCIAL CONDITIONS in various communities and we have to address poverty to make a strong change (not just improving our ethics). One thing that folks like O'Reilly ignore is about many black youth doing what is right a lot. The facts are that black youth crime has gone down, teen pregnancy rates have decreased, and black youth getting a Bachelor’s Degree have gone up from 1990. So, he can teach me nothing about black youth, except what reactionary ideologies to oppose firmly. The bigger, more important issue is that we have to institute revolutionary, radical programs as a means to address the suffering of black youth (from educational issues to criminal justice issues). Black people have been maligned, stereotyped, scapegoated, and harmed by a brutal system. We have the right to be part of the solution and build the youth up (without tearing them down in a nihilistic fashion). Technology has been a part of human civilization for thousands of years. STEM subjects will be here, so we have to learn about these subjects in a determined fashion. It is right to believe that more black people should be acquainted and get involved in such tech fields. We should promote more STEM fields in the lives of the black youth. These fields enhance civilization, grow jobs, and give humanity greater opportunities as a means for black people to improve their own standard of living. Our cultural legacy is about building and when we build, we can grow our infrastructure. I do endorse the efforts of MVMT50 and other likeminded organizations. The digital industry is not monolithic. It is so diverse and varied in its composition (from computer technology, IT, engineering, graphic designing, etc.), so we should take great chances in utilizing this burgeoning field in the most aggressive fashion possible. We have to instill STEM fields in the youth early on, so that they can retain the information so much that they can embrace it as second nature. I do have hope for the future. We just have to fight for our future. Nothing happens unless we fight for real social change. It is as simple as that. We as a people have no choice but to do something. Since the enemy plans for ages, black people have every right to plan strategies as a means to strike back against oppression. One of the great lessons of Malcolm X was that he used plans (via setting up ORGANIZATIONS, working with political heads globally, making speeches, and creating programs) as a means to try to unify those of black African descent globally as a means to counteract the system of white supremacy. Boycotts, education, and other legitimate solutions are a necessity in our time.

I have looked at many studies, many graphs, and other forms of information to outline the reality that the SYG is blatantly unfairly applied against black people. Many laws are unjust or were blatantly created to not benefit the interests of black people. SYG is one such unfair law. Massive, cogent critiques have existed against the law from legal experts, political analysts, and other credible academic scholars. Therefore, we have the truth, the stats, and the rest of the facts on our side. When you look at the SYSTEM, we can easily comprehend how it has oppressed us and harmed us. Also, we don't need the thesis of Jim Crow SEGREGATION OR THE antithesis of token, corporate stylized INTEGRATION. We just need to have true INDEPENDENCE as a goal. We need liberation point blank period for black humanity. Fundamentally, the most important thing is to make sure that the children are well taken care of. Ebony Wilkerson should not run off free. She did evil actions and she should be held accountable for her actions. Yet, she is not a murderer and she should not be treated as a murderer. She is not Michael Dunn. She is not a serial killer. She is a human being with serious issues that don't need to be in contact with her children. Obviously, we live in a sick country and a nation that glamorize the brutality against black people (and other human beings). We have to address mental health issues here in progressive fashion. The best thing is to make sure that Ebony Wilkerson gets the best help that she needs and to make sure that she is held into account for her actions. It is all part of KARMA and other things. Globally, the populations of them have been radically decreasing, especially in certain nations of Europe. Our population has grown not just in the States, but globally. The old games of the racists are basically tired and played out. Real folks desire solutions to problems and an establishment of justice (so, ALL OF THE PEOPLE can witness true justice and social development. In the final analysis, we want PEOPLE to experience liberty and tranquility). Robin Thicke has been caught in adultery and he is trying reunite with his wife as a means to save face. Without us, the world will lack massive creativity and an integral part of the revolutionary, human rights movement (since black people have been at the forefront of many social movements). With us, the world is still witnessing a huge boost of creativity, power, and intellectual vigor. The thing is that these bigots will create all sorts of excuses and word games as a means to stick up for their apparent inferiority complexes. Racism is obviously part of blatant insecurity, because these bigots would never try to mimic us if they were content in their own being. The truth is the opposite of their lies. The truth is that the black image is beautiful and those that mock it in an inappropriate fashion are reprehensible to say the least. Our wisdom, our soul, our image, and our power will prevail against evil in the end. So, we are not worried about them since the truth is in our side.
