This is a very important article. This story should be told nationwide plus worldwide. Greg Palast has done great work in exposing not only Republican corruption, but VOTING fraud issues as well (like the evil voter suppression in Florida back during the 2000 election). Greg Palast is famous for his investigative reporting. The protection of voting rights is necessity in society. People deserve the truth involving this situation. There should be an independent investigation and the protection of the voting rights in general. The truth is that many people have the same name in multiple states. People should be outraged at this situation. It is obvious that Republicans want to increase their political power and this voter purge is a devious, slick action of GOP extremists. Both major parties have been funded by corporate dollars. We should VOTE our interests as we should. The black collective have experienced high unemployment rates for generations. I have hope for the future, but I balance my hope with realism. At the end of the day, many of these politicians look out for themselves and their political futures instead of the masses of all of the people. I have also notice how many of President’s white Democratic “allies” are distancing themselves from him to appeal to white anti-Obama voters. We must deal with facts and reality. One of the reasons why we have experience economic troubles is because of bad trade deals that shipped jobs overseas to be replaced heavily with low wage jobs. The zenith of our modern economy in America has been the late 1960’s and the early 1970’s. Then, a growth of economic inequality persists and millions of manufacturing jobs have been gone. Also, the labor movement must be reinvigorated. Back during the GREAT DEPRESSION, hundreds of labor strikes existed in America alone. The labor movement back then was much more powerful than today. One problem we see is that private interest groups have controlled most of our economy, politics, etc. So, there must be ways to develop manufacturing jobs more (in America) and tax policies must be radically changed to benefit the poor and middle class.
Caribbean nationhood and Caribbean history indeed has been made up of a combination of revolutionary actions and many other social changes. For centuries, European imperialists dominated the region. Later, Caribbean people stood up for their legitimate social and political freedom via rebellions, protests, and other real sacrifices. The imperialists were not just British, French, Spanish, or Portuguese people. They also were from the Netherlands and even from Scandinavia for a time. Spain, France, and the UK dominated the Caribbean in their imperialist actions. The Thirty Years’ War, the Anglo-Dutch Wars, and other European wars dealt with factions competing for the resources in Caribbean as well. The heroic slave rebellions were made up of people who wanted to end slavery, colonialism, and other scourges. Escaped slaves called the Maroons fought for freedom in the Greater Antilles and some islands of the Lesser Antilles. Some survived in Saint Vincent and Dominica. Others live of course in Jamaica, Hispaniola, Guadeloupe, and Cuba. Jamaica and Cuba had strong slave uprisings. They or the slave liberation movements increased from the 1500’s to the 19th century. Haiti was the first Caribbean nation to get independence from European imperialists in 1804. To this day, we should always respect Haiti for its courage against injustice. Haiti is the world’s first and oldest black republic in the Western Hemisphere. The Dominican Republic declared its independence by 1844. The spirit of independence spread. Cuba and Puerto Rico fought for independence throughout the 19th century. The Spanish American War came in 1898. America defeated Spain. Cuba attained its independence in 1902 and Puerto Rico became an unincorporated territory of America. During the 20th century, the United States had a more active role in the Caribbean. The U.S. government was wrong to occupy Haiti and the Dominican Republic during the 20th century. The U.S. invaded and occupied the Dominican Republic and Haiti for 19 years from 1915 to 1934. Even President Lyndon Baines Johnson allowed the U.S. military to invade the Dominican Republic in 1965 as a means to suppress a local, progressive uprising against military rule. He used “Communism” as an excuse to use this militarist action. To this day, the U.S. maintains a naval military base in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay. This base deals with the Latin American and Caribbean region. Many Caribbean island achieved independence as well in their own right. Jamaica became independent by 1962, Trinidad & Tobago in 1962, Barbados in 1966, Bahamas in 1973, Grenada in 1974, Dominica in 1978, St. Lucia in 1979, St. Vincent in 1979, Antigua & Barbuda in 1981, and in St. Kitts & Nevis by 1983. Belize got its freedom in 1981. Guyana became free in 1966. Suriname established its independence in 1975. Now, we know many places in the Caribbean exist under European or American control. In the early 21st century today, many territories controlled by the British include the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Bermuda, etc. Guadeloupe and Martinique are French overseas regions or a legal status that they had since 1946. This is an unique arrangement. The deal is that the citizens in both islands are considered full French citizens. They have the same legal rights, but they are not independent nations.
There is a lot more information on the American Security Council. The American Security Council wanted to fight communism. It has been reported that the ASC had information on 6 million human beings. They profiled Americans because of political beliefs, which is by definition anti-democratic. One famous person in the ASC was retired Rear Admiral Chester C. Ward. He supported massive defense spending as in a book (published by him and the Dame of Malta Phyllis Schlafy) in their book “The Gravediggers.” In 1974, both of them published the best-seller “Kissinger on the Couch” criticizing Kissinger’s policy of détente and claimed that he was an instrument of the Soviets. The ASC’s book was very similar to the John Birch Society’s books. Some directors of the Citizens Committee for a Free Cuba or CCFC were ASC board members Edward Teller and Claire Boothe Luce. It is well know that the conservatives of the American Security Council and other related groups were against President John F. Kennedy’s Limited Test Ban Treaty and Kissinger’s proposals of détente including the Strategic Arms Reduction Talks. The ASC believed in the paranoid fiction that diplomatic efforts for détente was part of a Soviet ran, grand “communoscialist” conspiracy created to rule America. Even General Douglas MacArthur pushed for the use of nuclear weapons against North Korea and China. Even Truman thought that he went too far. Members like Colonel Raymond Sleeper (part of an ASC national strategy committee member) wanted to attack the Soviet Union if they refuse to comply with the West. General Curtis LeMay was a wicked man. He not only ran the fire bombings of Japanese cities killing more than 2 million people in the process (which tons of civilians died). He also wanted a massive bombing campaign in North Vietnam and he wanted to attack Cuba, which JFK rejected outright. He was so extreme that he called the resolution of the Cuban Missile Crisis as the “greatest defeat in our history.” His protégés were Power and ASC strategy board member Joints Chief General Lyman Lemnitzer. The Western reactionaries readily support the torture, murder, and oppression of labor union leaders, human rights activists, communists, socialists, etc. if the leaders of those nations are in league with Western interests. The ASC continued domestic spying actions even after the Frank Church Committee’s findings of government corruption. The ASC loved the views of Richard Nixon, Barry Goldwater, and Ronald Reagan. Today, the ASC is focused on anti-terrorism not anti-communism as we live in a new generation. The ASC is allied with the neoconservative movement. At the end of the day, we don’t need to worship neoconservativism. We need to fight for our liberties, labor unions have the right to organize, and social services should help humanity.
One investigator blamed black culture for the death of one child. This should not be surprising to people who understand how many people think. The death of an innocent one year old child has nothing to do with black culture. It has to do with the actions of a murderer. The death of the one year old child should be known and the child's life should be remembered plus respected. There must be justice for the family of the late child without question. Most black people in America do work and know the value of labor. The problem is that ignorant reactionary extremists hold onto simplistic views on how the world is as a means to collectively blame the black community for societal problems.
When I see black culture, I see the Harlem Renaissance, the old school BPP, R&B music, great art, STEM subjects, Black Love, PROACTIVE & excellent community development organizations, conscious Brothers and conscious Sisters expressing their inspiring views on black heritage, and other things that represents the strength and the beauty of blackness. I have noticed that David Daniel omitted things. We know how the racists omit the destruction of Black Wall Street by white racist terrorists, the war crimes in the four corners of the Earth done by imperialists, and other evils. Those who commit murder and other evil actions are against black culture by definition. The investigator is wrong on so many levels. Daniel’s views are embraced by many people. He is not alone in his ignorant views. That is why it is our jobs to not only refute Daniel’s slander of black people, but to help our people too. We will CONTINUE to not only love black people, but to defend black people without hesitation. This racist investigator exploited the death of a child to promote a political agenda. The man is WRONG period. The death of the child has everything to do with the murderer. The truth is that people deserve solutions and justice.
The combined net worth of Congress is about 2 billion dollars up from 150 million dollars from 2012 according to CQ’s Roll Call’s annual tally. The median net worth of the members of Congress is over $450,000. The midterm elections are the most expensive non-Presidential election in U.S. history. Ironically, voter turnout is expected to be in record lows. The public at large has expressed great disapproval of both the Democrats and the Republicans. Both of these parties are running on right wing platforms. We see the huge, widening chasm between political institutions and both parties form the broad mass of the people. The financial oligarchy controls economic life in the West heavily. The extremely rich control a huge part of the social and economic components of mainstream United States society. The release of the report follows the announcement earlier this year by the Center for Responsive Politics, using a different method for estimating the average wealth of US lawmakers, that 2012 marked the first time a typical member of Congress was worth over a million dollars. We see that even the Democrats, who posture themselves as for the “middle class” were on average richer than their Republican counterparts. Congressional multimillionaires include House Rep. Darrell Issa (a Republican from California), the Republican Michael McCaul of Texas, Democratic House member John Delaney, and others. Each of these people works with major committees or they are funded by the military industrial complex and other corporate entities like Credit Suisse and JPMorgan Chase. The House and Senate leaders are all multi-millionaires. Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is worth about $2.8 million, while Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is worth $11.97 million. Republican House Speaker John Boehner has a net worth of $2.32 million, and outgoing House Majority Leader Eric Cantor $9 million. Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has a net worth of $29 million, making her the 14th-wealthiest member of Congress. The net worth of a typical U.S. household was $56,335 in 2013, which is down from 36 percent since 2003 according to a study published earlier this year by the Russell Sage Foundation. This means that a typical member of Congress is 20 times wealthier than a typical American. We see much corruption, bribery, fraud, and other insider dealings in the government. That is why candidates either seek wealthy donors to fund their campaigns or agree with oligarchical policies. The Democrats try to get support from the middle class, the working class, and sections of big business. The Republicans gain support from small businesspeople and small farmers including most of corporate America. We see for the past 50 years, the deindustrialization, the financialization of the economy, the growth of social inequality, and other issues. The only solution is a broad based ending of the current system to be replaced with a fair system where the working class has democratic control of the economy, where people have real rights, and justice is established.

Wednesday News
PBS’ Finding your roots is a great show. More and more African Americans are doing DNA TESTS and researching records as a means for them to find their ancestry in a comprehensive way. We, as black people, have a strong and rich cultural legacy. I will always love Africa a great deal as my ancestral homeland. Henry Louis Gates is doing great work in this interesting project. Also, I love his DVD series Black in Latin America. I have the DVD and it is totally excellent. Valerie Jarrett finding a lot of important information about her relatives is great. Learning real history can be an exciting journey. This is a great story with a great message. Sister Janaye Ingram is right that cyberbullying is not only immoral, but it ought to be repudiated and eliminated. This fight will not be easy, but it is a just fight to pursue. Especially, with the recent events in the world, we should always reject pettiness, vile insults, and disrespecting people in an unfair, wicked fashion (in the streets and online). It is bad enough that grown adults have been victims of cyber bullying, but children including teenagers unfortunately have suffered cyber bullying as well. We can’t be silent on this issue. It is fine to have passionate debate. It is fine to agree to disagree with people on issues. It is fine to show humor and hyperbole at times. Yet, cyberbullying has nothing to do with those things. It has to do with the unfair disrespect and the nefarious harassment of another human being in an unjust fashion. There is a lot of hate, selfishness, and immaturity in society. Also, many people are compassionate, strong, thoughtful, and clear headed. Doing the right thing is just the right thing to do simply.
People have the right to vote who they want to. Black people have the right to be Republicans, Democrats, or Independents. I am an Independent politically. So for me, I can’t be a Republican for many reasons. Many Republicans refuse to advocate an increase of the minimum wage. Some reject equal pay or maternity leave. Some of them refuse to eliminate all corporate welfare and all unfair tax loopholes that the 1 percent exploits. I believe in universal health care and some GOP members refuse to support civil liberties in a serious fashion. That means that stop and frisk should end, that the Patriot Act should end, and illegally monitoring of activists should end too. I believe in the expansion of education, but some vouchers violate the separation of church and state. Education can be improved with adequate funding, smaller class sizes, better teacher training, curriculum improvements, and a rejection of an obsession with standardized testing (as teaching experts have talked about). The Harlem Children Zone has been successful. In the final analysis, both the public and the private sector must be part of the solution not just the private sector. There should be no massive bailouts of Wall Street banks and a rejection of regressive taxes. There should be taxes on Wall Street financial transactions. The War on Drugs must end and the criminal justice system must have radical changes. We should reject militarism and imperialism. We have to address poverty by investments, ending discrimination, redistributing economic plus political power, and giving the poor economic freedoms not austerity. We all send more blessings to Gwen Carr. She is a strong person and the memory of Eric Garner will never be forgotten. These allegations will never stop the movement in general. At this point, no one should defend what has happen to Eric Garner at all. Some people want to accuse the relatives of Eric Garners of things as a means to distract people on the injustice of Eric Garner’s murder by wicked cops. RIP Eric Garner.
Learning about Africa is very creative and informative. Wisdom is so important It is very important for more of our people to use social media, etc. as a means to get the truth out. We will always have a great love for Africa and the love of blackness are great actions for people to pursue. Africa is a wonderful continent. We love Africa with a great love INDEED. We have the right to refute and dispel the myths that white racists have of Africa. The truth is that Africa has tons of modern amenities, great transportation services, down to Earth human beings, and beautiful fauna plus flora. In fact, in our time, more African Americans are dating including marrying Africans including vice versa. We know how the racists ignore how other peoples wear certain rings on their bodies, but they want to demonize black people unfairly for their cultural diversity. A lot of black people are studying ancient Egypt and we know that black Africans lived in ancient Egypt before. Black people lives across the continent thousands of years ago to build great civilizations from Nubia to Songhai. Some want to encourage black people from the States to go into Africa. I have no problems with this at all. Although, I have no issue with black people fighting for justice in America either. The Knowledge of self and the fight for justice are great concepts for us to embrace in our hearts. That is why they fear Black unity, because true black unity is not only morally right. It just feels good. It feels good to do what is right and to love our heritage. No woman is more beautiful inside and out than a black woman. That’s real talk. That is why we should always condemn bleaching creams and any type of tactic that disrespects our natural blackness. There can be no ignoring of Arabic imperialism too, which hasn’t been shown a lot in some circles. We do know that the Arabic leads of many countries collaborate with the West forming token Sunni hegemonies and exploit the resources of the world too. For example, Saudi Arabia (which is a mostly Sunni nation with anti-democratic laws) is an ally of the West. The system of white supremacy promotes the lie that God is white when we see images of black representation of religious images even found in Europe. Black people are the first humans on Earth. When I was younger, I read the literature from Cheikh Anta Diop, John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Runoko Rashidi, and others. There is nothing with Black Power either. Black power deals with self-determination and the development of economic and political power among the black community. Certainly, we need strength and we should always love our black African identity. At the end of the day, we need to keep our eyes on the prize. That means that we should build in our communities, fight for truth, defend our Brothers and our Sisters, and love Africa. The Creator created humans in his image, so obviously God is not white. Blackness is of God. It is ironic that many whites want to use tans to look like us when a strong black man and a strong black woman would never want to look like them. We should respect our heroes, but not only that. We should CONTINUE what our heroes did. Our heroes include people like Lumumba, Fred Hampton, Sojourner Truth, and other human beings who sacrificed their lives for the people. They loved our people. Lumumba and Fannie Lou Hamer are some of my personal heroes.
Bullying is not only evil and cruel. It has no justification at any circumstance. The young child (and his brother) who were bullied and assaulted should receive comfort, justice, and true respect. Xenophobia, like always, is evil. Many people are exploiting the ebola crisis as a means to express prejudice and to disrespect children of black African descent. That is just plain wrong. We are one people regardless if we live in Africa, Europe, South America, or America. Africans, African Americans, Afro-Brazilians, etc. are entitled to dignity and respect just like any other human being. These children have every right to be in school, to play, and to have fun without unjust ASSAULT or bullying. I am glad that the family of the children are sticking by their children and giving them strong support. This is what a family does. This story should allow all of us to be subsequently reminded thoroughly that hurting children has no place in the world at all. As the relatives of the children have said, the school administrators have to handle their business. Regardless of our views on ebola, we have to treat our neighbors as ourselves. It is just that simple. On many occasions, bullies have profound social insecurities, because a strong minded, progressive person would never bully or ASSAULT an innocent person at all. Others have made a great point about the bullies' parents, because many bullies act on the unjust actions of their parents. That cycle must end. Parents (of children who have been bullied) have every human right to protect their children. Parents can show up at schools to protect their children and talk to the parents of bullies as a means to gain an understanding that such actions will never be tolerated at all. The situation is totally ridiculous and evil. Good is always superior to evil. The xenophobia in America should stop. At the end of the day, we are all Brothers and Sisters.
I read the article (from Huffington Post on slavery) quickly and it showed great, accurate information. The article refutes the historical revisionist notion (as advanced by many reactionaries) that American slavery has no direct or indirect impact on American society today or the South seceding had nothing to do with slavery at all. The truth is that American slavery was not only evil, CRIMINAL, and unjust. It grew capitalism in America including places worldwide. That is why populists and others like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in his 1967 Three Evils Speech (in Chicago) have said that capitalism in America was built on the backs of black slaves. Capitalism and Slavery is a book written by Eric Williams talking about this very issue. The economy of slavery was intertwined not only with the South, but with the North as well. There were many bigoted Northerners back then too who wanted slavery for racist and economic reasons. In our generation, we have to tell children and the populace at large the truth. We have to understand that the legacy of slavery still impacts society today and that we have to fight any injustice. Many human beings are right to stand for truth. The Consortium news website has other great information on this issue too. Racists like Thomas Jefferson, James Madison (who was afraid that black slaves would be free), etc. believed in states’ rights, limited government, etc. not as a means to advance real moral values. They did so as a means to violate the human rights of black people in America and maintain the system of oppression over everyone else. Confederates later on believed in that same states’ rights mantra as they fought in the Civil War. The Confederates are treasonous terrorists, but their images are shown throughout the nation (not only in the South). Statues of these traitors are all over Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi, etc. Reconstruction was a period of the expansion of the federal government. During that period, black people had some expanded rights. Some black men were granted the right to vote. Black folks started to own more property. Yet, white racists used their own white backlash in the form of the Klan (including other groups plus unjust laws like the Black Codes and Jim Crow) to harm black people. The treasonous Compromise of 1877 permitted Jim Crow to grow and fester for almost a century afterwards. Reconstruction was a failed opportunity to make democracy real. Reconstruction also showed the courage and strength of black political people, who stood up against racism. The Tea Party came in reaction to governmental policies, but some of the Tea Partiers have express racism not only against the President, but against black people in general. These issues are related, because the same forces of white supremacy did not die when the Confederacy ended. These same Confederate forces oppose the Civil Rights Act and the black liberation movement in general during the 1960’s.These forces remain today and we will CONTINUE to oppose these evil forces. Good will triumph against evil in the end. Brothers and Sisters are still fighting for justice.

Monday News in late October 2014
There is the battle going on between ISIS and Western forces in Iraq and Syria. The battle in Kobani is continuing too. There are brave Syrian Kurds and brave women of the city of Kobani who are fighting the ISIS/ISIL/Daesh network. The women warriors are fighting the treacherous agendas of the West, Turkey, and others too. The region where forces are fighting is called Rojava or the three mostly Kurdish provinces of northern Syria. The jailed activist named Kenan Kirkaya said that Rojava is the home of a revolutionary model that no less challenges the hegemony of “the capitalist nation-state system” way beyond its regional “meaning for Kurds or for Syrians, or Kurdistan.” Kobani is an agricultural location. It is part of a nonviolent experiment of democracy. Once, Damascus allowed Rojava to act on its own. Rojava is a place where decision making is made via popular assemblies. It is multicultural and multireligious. The top three officers in each municipality are a Kurd, an Arabic person, and an Assyrian or Armenian Christian (and at least one of these three must be a woman). Non-Kurd minorities have their own institutions and speak their own languages. There are numerous women and youth councils. There is a famous feminist army called the YJA Star militia or the Union of Free Women (the star represents the Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar). It is like the forces of Ishtar fighting against the forces of ISIS. ISIS wants a reactionary, intolerant caliphate in the region. Now in the 21st century, it is the female barricades of Kobani fighting fascism. This is similar to the International Brigades fighting fascism in Spain back in 1936. We know that many of the intolerant Wahhabis and Takfiris are aided by powerful Gulf petrodollar backers. The fight in Rojava is led by the PYD or the Syrian branch of the Turkish PKK (these are the Marxist guerillas at war against Ankara since the 1970s). Washington, Brussels and NATO – under relentless Turkish pressure – have always officially ranked both PYD and PKK as “terrorists.” PKK leader Abdulla Ocalan has written a book called, “Democratic Confederalism.” The PKK and the PYD want libertarian municipalism. That means that they want self-governing communities applying direct democracy like pillars councils, popular assemblies, cooperatives managed by workers, and defended by popular militias. This is similar to libertarian socialism. Rojava has promoted a worldwide cooperative economics/democracy movement. This is not exactly like a nation-state. We see that the PKK and the PYD managed to rescue tens of thousands of Yazidis corralled by ISIS forces in Mount Sinjar not by American bombs. And now, as PYD co-president Asya Abdullah details, what’s needed is a “corridor” to break the encirclement of Kobani by Caliph Ibrahim’s goons. The Turkish leaders want Assad to go and won’t intervene militarily unless Washington shows a post-Assad plan. Erdogan wants to allow Iraqi Kurd peshmergas to enter northern Syria as a way to counter balance the PYD-PKK militias (to not strength the anti-Turkish Kurdish axis). ISIS wants more recruits to come into Syria from Turkey. Kobani is being used in the game of the West and ISIS. There must be direct democracy in Kobani and Rojava.
A report from Amnesty International has accurately shown that the Ferguson police crackdown has violated U.S. and international laws. The report is entitled, “The streets of America: Human rights abuses in Ferguson.” The report shown evidence after evidence about the systematic acts of police violence against peaceful protesters and the arrests of media and international observers. There has been the suppression of rights in Ferguson, which are protected by the U.S. Constitution, international law, and international human rights agreements. The report comes as cops now are stocking up on riot gear as reported by the Associated Press. They are preparing for renewed protests next month in the event that a grand jury fails to indict Darren Wilson. Wilson is the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed the unarmed teenager Michael Brown on August 9. “What Amnesty International witnessed in Missouri on the ground this summer underscored that human rights abuses do not just happen across borders and oceans,” said Steven W. Hawkins, executive director of Amnesty International USA. Hawkins added, “Standing on W. Florissant Avenue with my colleagues, I saw a police force, armed to the teeth, with military-grade weapons. I saw a crowd that included the elderly and young children fighting the effects of tear gas.” Police confronted protesters while “armed with semi-automatic weapons and leashed police dogs,” the report notes. “Officers moved among the protesters using armored vehicles which are more commonly seen in a conflict zone rather than the streets of a suburban town in the United States.” It adds, “Some of the officers had… no names, badges, other identifying information visible.” The report concludes, “In all, more than 170 individuals were arrested during the first 12 days of protests since Michael Brown’s death.” More than three quarters of arrests were for the ad-hoc charge of “failure to disperse.” The report documents the attack on free speech and the media. “Legal and human rights observers as well as members of the media have repeatedly been obstructed” by police, it notes. “From August 13 through October 2, at least 19 journalists and members of the media were arrested by law enforcement, with others subjected to tear gas and the use of rubber bullets… Reporters for CNN, Al Jazeera America and other outlets report being harassed or physically threatened.” When Ron Johnson of the Missouri Highway Patrol, who headed the police response in the area, was asked at a press conference why members of the press were being targeted for arrest, he replied, “It is difficult to tell who is media and who is disguising themselves as such.”
The report documents a shocking event. That event was when Ryan Devereaux of the Intercept and Lukas Hersmeier of the German Bild-Zeitung were shot with rubber bullets and arrested while fleeing from a barrage of tear gas. The report recounts, “After coming out [from] behind cover with their hands in the air, shouting, ‘Press!’ and ‘Journalists’ and ‘We’re media!’ [an] officer allowed them to pass. However, as Devereaux and Hermsmeier CONTINUED walking with their hands in the air, shouting ‘Press!’ the same officer shot rubber bullets at them, hitting both journalists in the back. Out of fear, they dove behind a car. The officers approached with guns pointed and arrested them.” Even Amnesty International observers were threatened by the police while they were seeking to leave a protest scene after determining that they were in danger from tear gas and rubber bullets. One officer was in front of the delegation and pointed his weapon at the delegated. The officer shouted, “get on the ground!” A staff member at the front of the delegation knelt on the ground and told the officer that, “We are human rights observers.” In another incident, “Amnesty International witnessed an officer with the St. Ann Police Department in Missouri point his AR-15 semi-automatic rifle at a group of journalists and threaten to kill them.” As Amnesty International has mentioned in their report, the practice of pointing of firearms at peaceful protesters violates U.S. law and international conventions. “Under the UN’s Basic Principles for the Use of Force and Firearms by Law Enforcement Officials," the report states, "law enforcement officials shall not use firearms against persons except in self-defense or defense of others against the imminent threat of death or serious injury.” In addition, “An officer pointing a gun at close range at an unarmed individual who is not presenting a threat would also be excessive use of force under US law.” The report says that the police sought to collectively punish local residents and peaceful protesters. The imposition of a curfew limited the human rights of the peaceful protesters and the general public of Ferguson. That is why a federal judge earlier this month ended the five second rule (which limits the freedom of peaceful assembly) as illegal and unconstitutional. That is why we must continue to condemn nationwide militarization of the police, the police killings, and the endless wars plus international provocations which violate human rights.
Symbolism and the entertainment industry go hand in hand. There is the one eye sign that is common for artists to use in the entertainment industry. It is found in fashion as well as the music industry. The fashion industry (in the mainstream level) is ruled by the same oligarchs. There is the October issue of the Interview magazine. It show the controversial photo-shoot called “Pretty Washed.” It showed models lying in filth and completely passed out drunk or worse. We know the message. One model is pictured with her eyes half opened as if she was dead. The photo-shoot is very disturbing. Wasted is a slang term for someone who is drunk, unconscious, or dead. The models appear soulless, drugged, incapacitated, helpless, etc. The images show beer cans and other things. We should reject the debasement of human life and we should reject evil mind control too. The message is how the fashion world (and the entertainment world in general) uses models and others to glamorize dehumanization, self-destruction, and death. The truth is the humanity has beauty and the human spirit should be aligned with the will of the Creator (not aligned with human degradation). There is the October issue of Vogue Italia. It shows a photo-shoot where models are shown again as lifeless, soulless mannequins, etc. Each shot looks similar to images akin to MKULTRA, MK slaves, etc. There are fake heads on the grounds (relating to alter personas). The photo-shoot is named “In a Silent Way.” Dismembered mannequins exist. The images are sophisticated, so the people who created the photo-shoot know about art, abstract images, and things of that nature. The cover of Cheryl Cole’s new album “Only Human” shows one strip that is a feline print crosses her right eye. A young person named Charli XCX is on the cover of the Billboard magazine with the one eye salute. One rose in next to her right eye. Many celebrities like Chloe Jasmine either cover their eyes (like Gwen Stefani in her comeback album) or use the OK sign next to their eyes in pictures, photo shoots, etc. The logo of Kesha’s jewelry collection called “Evil Eye” was released months ago. It shows occult symbolism like sacred geometry with the eye on the center of it. Kesha now claims that she is an industry pawn who got abused and manipulated. It is no secret that many in the music industry were exploited and abused by the industry executives, etc. Rita Ora was spotted with Mickey Mouse ears hate and her shirt says “Enfant riches deprimes” which means “Depressed rich kids” in French. That describes many in the industry. As we can see, the industry uses programming, deception, dehumanization, lies, deception, and aid from the military industrial complex as a means for them to fund their agenda. Elders and our ancestors told us the truth about these matters. It is our jobs to constructively and positively help people, fight evil, and to stand up for justice in the world.
It is just great to learn about strong, Black Women in history. One strong black woman was Amanishakheto. She was a Candace of Nubia or she was the Warrior Queen of Nubia. Not many people know about this Sister. Sister Amanishaketo (according to the book “Nubian Pharaohs and Meroitic King”) came after Queen Amanireans. Her pyramid or tomb was leveled to the ground by the Italian treasure hunter named Guiseppe Ferlini in 1832. She led her people with a strong arm and built pyramids in Meroe (this was a major city of Nubia). Her daughter was Amanitore. She was became the Queen of Nubia. Candace Amanishaketo reign from ca. 10 B.C. to 1 A.D. according to many sources. She was extremely wealthy and powerful. She built many pyramids and temples at Wad Ban Naqa where she was buried with great treasures. Around this era of history, the Nubians (headed by the Queen Candace) defeated Roman forces, who were led by Roman emperor Augustus. A peace treaty was signed too after the Nubia defeated the Roman invaders. Her palace is one of the largest treasures. It was 61 m long and covered an area of 3,7000 m2. Its ground floor had over 60 rooms. Her grave had golden artifacts like armlets, necklaces, rings, 67 signet rings, two armbands, and many other loose amulets plus necklaces (which were created by Nubian artists from her Kingdom). Some of her treasures (which were stolen by Ferlini) are found now at the Egyptian Museum of Berlin and at the Egyptian Museum of Munich.. She was a strong Sister. Her tomb in Meroe was one of the largest ever built. She is often depicted on pyramid murals as a massive, powerful woman, covered with jewels, elaborate fringed, tasseled robes, and carrying weapons in one hand, preparing to lead her army against others. At the end of the day, Sisters should be respected and protected by the black community. When our Sisters are being killed unjustly by the police, we should never forget that. We should always stand with black women. Also, fathers and mothers should be respected. We know that in this society, black fathers have been slandered and disrespected. Yet, we know the truth that black fathers are not only taking care of their children, but working honestly in improving the surroundings of their own communities. So, we should take the time to show respect to any black father and any black mother doing what is right and standing up for their families indeed.

Friday News
The shootings in Ottawa and in Washington State were evil. More facts are coming out. The murderer of the people in Ottawa was wrong. People can express dissent without murdering innocent human beings. We have to combat this hate. The murderer was filled with hate and his actions are antithetical to altruism. I don’t believe in using this incident as an excuse to promote anti-terror laws that violate the human rights of Canadians at all. False Flag attacks has existed worldwide for decades from Operation Gladio to Operation Ajax. It is obvious that ISIS has al-Qaeda origin and al-Qaeda linked terrorists has been funded by Western intelligence. That still doesn’t justify the act of the murderer at all. These actions by the killer should be totally condemned period. Not to mention that we should condemn the bigotry of Islamophobia. This murderer is not representative of all Muslims. We have to make sure that Muslims are not stereotyped. The Canadian soldier was killed in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on October 20, 2014. Later, there was the shooting on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on October 22. The Canadian authorities and the mainstream media have jumped on the story and blamed “Islamic extremism” for both incidents even though we know very little about the two men who acted alone. We know that no terrorist organization so far have claimed responsibility for the attacks. We are told that both young men have converted to Islam. Martin Couture-Rouleau, who hit a soldier with his car in Saint-Jean, had “self-radicalized over the internet”. The Edmonton Sun said that “family and law enforcement try to find out why he followed ISIS kill commands.” Is there any evidence that he was “following ISIS Kill commands”? None so far. Accounts say that both were known by authorities and the authorities confiscated their passports for fear that they would join terrorist organizations overseas. If they confiscated their passports, wouldn’t they have concerns about them doing attacks in Canada as well? We can speculate at this time about both of the men’s motives in doing these evil actions. Some have talked about the CSIS or the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. The CSIS is known for using informants to infiltrate Muslim organizations and issue violent threats against Canadian citizens. We do know that ISIS and related groups have been supported covertly by the U.S. and its Persian Gulf allies since the outset of the Syrian insurgency in March of 2011. For a while, the authorities talk about Islamic extremists, radicalization on the Internet, and homegrown terrorism. We know that the root of much of the terrorism in the world is not necessarily Islamic fundamentalism, but foreign occupation. Al-Qaeda affiliated terrorists have been supported covertly by Western intelligence. Back in 2007, Alexandre Popovic wrote extensively about how CSIS informants “infiltrated the Canadian Muslim community and contributed to portray Islam in a negative way and fuel the stereotypes that Muslims are essentially dangerous extremists.” (Alexandre Popovic, Les manipulations médiatiques du SCRS, September 1, 2007). One of the informants, Youssef Muammar, became the “leader of several organizations such as the International Islamic Foundation of Canada, Petro Action, the International Institute of Islamic Research, the Communauté de la nation musulmane du Grand Montréal, the Grand Mosque, Info-Islam and the magazine Le Monde islamique.” (André Noël, «Un drôle d’espion», La Presse, December 14, 2001, p. A7, cited in Alexandre Popovic, Les manipulations médiatiques du SCRS, September 1, 2007). These informants have shaped the public perception of the Canadian Muslim community. Some are exploiting these events to spy on people and to promote a network of citizens turned informants. And last but not least, why is it so easy for extremists to use Facebook and other social media to issue death threats and apparently radicalize young fragile minds when until recently Facebook “moderators were told to ban images of breastfeeding if the nipples were exposed”? The attacks in Canada should be condemned. Also, we should use this time to promote our human rights and our civil liberties too. I send prayers and condolences to the families of friends of the 2 people who died in Ottawa including other innocent people who died in the world. .
Some in the mainstream media (like Bill O’Reilly, etc.) are blaming everything, but the real causes for ebola. We see a new American victim of ebola being treated in New York City now. If we want to defeat ebola, then we need a better health care system in America. That system must put the needs of patients and workers first with a massive influx of financial and medical aid to Africa. We need more solidarity not scapegoating of people unfairly. Many politicians and medical commentators have used the racist blame game involving the ebola crisis. The reactionary extremists are exploiting ebola as a means to promote border enforcement policies, which have nothing to do with public health. It has to do with racism and xenophobia though. We know about the mistakes made by the CDC and others in enforcing policies that would protect the health care workers like the two Dallas nurses Nina Pham and Amber Vinson. Thousands have died in Africa from ebola, so isolationism is not needed to end this crisis. The heartless calls for travel bans don’t work. We need the deployment of medical personnel, not U.S. troops there. The disease has hit hard the nations of Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea. More than 9,000 people have been infected and over 4,500 people have died according to official statistics. There has been a racist panic about ebola too. There are the two children in New Burlington, N.J., who were kept from attending Howard Yocum Elementary School because they come from Rwanda--a country that, as Salon.com pointed out, is "approximately 2,600 miles away from the closest West African country with Ebola cases--a distance roughly equivalent to that between Seattle, Washington, and Philadelphia." Meanwhile, parents in Hazelhurst, Miss., pulled their children out of school recently after learning that Hazlehurst Middle School principal Lee Wannik had travelled to Zambia for his brother's funeral--approximately 3,100 miles away from the areas where Ebola has hit. Wannik was forced to take paid vacation time off to allay parent fears. There was the racist cover of Newsweek magazine showing a picture of a chimpanzee and the headline "A Back Door for Ebola: Smuggled Bushmeat Could Spark a U.S. Epidemic." The truth is that the infection has nothing to do with bushmeat, eating chimpanzee meat isn’t common in the Ebola affected regions, and transmitting ebola from eating bushmeat is next to nil. This racist hysteria is not limited to Republicans though. Many Democrats want a travel ban to and from Western Africa like Senator Kay Hagan of NC, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, and Michelle Nunn of Georgia. They want to win the elections in November. Our health care system is for profit. Public health experts readily condemn closing borders and banning travel, because it can make the ebola crisis worse. It can negatively impact the economies of the hardest hit nations; it can make health care workers have a harder time to travel and track the spread of the disease. It can also force people to travel clandestinely in order to seek work, etc. The NNU have been brave to defend the nurses helping people. We have to fight poverty in America and in Africa too including structural discrimination. Multinational corporations should not exploit the resources of Africa. Infrastructure must be developed in order for ebola to be stopped.
The movement for social change is a long road. The protesters have every right to peacefully protest. We know that protesting is not enough. We need a plan and political including economic strategies developed in order for us to make justice a reality. We need not only signs showing legitimate outrage at police terrorism and mass incarceration. We need political action as a way to address our concerns and to stand up against injustices. Innocent life being killed is wrong. What happened to Eric Garner and so many other Brothers and Sisters are abominations. Their lives matter. Also, we should condemn militarism and imperialism. NATO has committed war crimes in Libya where they aided terrorists, who killed innocent black Libyan Brothers and Sisters. Plenty of black people have condemned unjust violence and murder of any kind for years and decades (as black organizations have condemned black on black violence along with police terrorism for decades. There have been vigils, protests, and other PROGRAMS now addressing the deaths of innocent black human life). We condemn the epidemic of police brutality in the world. People are entitled to economic justice (not neoliberal talking points) and an end to the War on Drugs. Brothers and Sisters in Ferguson suffered tear gas, LRAD sound weapons, police brutality, and other forms of oppression. Yet, they are still here and still strong. That strength comes from us and from our black African ancestry too. That strength ended the Maafa, overt apartheid in the States, and other injustices. Yes, the movement won't stop, because we can't stop. We won't stop, because the truth is infallible and the power of courageous human beings will not be denied permanently. So, we will CONTINUE to support the movement forever. The status quo doesn't work and it must be changed in a revolutionary fashion. In the final ANALYSIS, we can’t let up. We have to work in our communities, be involved in mentorships, volunteer, educate people on their human rights, boycott (in a righteous fashion), stand up for freedom, and oppose unjust laws. Yes, power should be to the people not to the oligarchy.
We see the crimes of Blackwater being exposed now. On Wednesday, something interesting happened. A jury of eight women and four men in a federal district court in Washington, D.C. convicted four Blackwater mercenaries for their role in the 2007 Nisour Square massacre. The jurors have found one of the contractors guilty of murder and the other three guilty of manslaughter for firing hundreds of rounds of ammunition and grenades at Iraqi civilians in Baghdad in a brutal operation. This operation caused 17 people to die and wounded 20 other human beings. The jury’s decision shocked some in the media and political establishment. The jurors were repulsed over the barbaric crimes described in the courtroom. There has been testimony from dozens of Iraqi eyewitnesses and victims. They were allowed to see for themselves the brutal reality of a war that has been greatly hidden from the American public. The verdict shows how deep the crimes done by the West against Iraq have been. Private mercenaries have been hired to enforce imperialism globally. The people convicted are Blackwater employees Nicholas Slatten (found guilty of murder) and Evan Liberty, Paul Slough and Dustin Heard (found guilty of manslaughter and using a machine gun to carry out a violent crime). Imperialism’s fruits deal with murder, death, and harm to the masses of the people. There are countless atrocities done in the war on terror. Some have been exposed publicly. Some are more hidden. There was the systematic leveling of Fallujah in 2004 by U.S. Marines. It was initiated in response to the killing of several Blackwater mercenaries and it resulted in the deaths of over 1,000 Iraqis. There was the Hadith Massacre where a group of U.S. Marines killed 24 unarmed Iraqis in November 2005. Only one soldier was convicted. There has been the incineration of a religious school in Pakistan by CIA drones in October 2006, killing at least 68 children; the massacre of 47 people attending a wedding party in Nangahar province, Afghanistan in July 2008, and a similar mass killing in Kandahar province that killed 63 only four months later. The Bush administration’s top officials (like President Bush himself, former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of State Colin Powell and many others) planned and launched the war of Iraq based on outright lies. The top military and CIA officials have done a war of terror against the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan. This reactionary foreign policy has been supported by Republican and Democratic leaders. Some even refuse to release the Senate investigation report of CIA caught spying on Senate staffers preparing the report. So, we should continue to oppose torture, drone assassinations, massacres, and extra judicial killings. Justice is not only about convicting the Blackwater mercenaries who were involved in massacres, but it is about the convictions of the highest members of the military-state apparatus involved in the atrocities as well.
Regardless, people should vote their conscience. No one should force someone to vote a certain way. Human beings should look at the issues fairly and make up of their minds. In other words, political independence is the way to go. Historically, many midterm elections have much lower voter turnout than Presidential elections. That is why I respect someone who stands up for their views sincerely regardless if I agree with them or not. Another point is that we need to support others who are telling the truth independently. Even many Democrats wish to be allied with the status quo instead of freedom and justice. Some Democrats (not just the Republicans, because we know what they are all about) endorse imperialist aggression overseas and austerity neoliberalism at home. Also, domestically, we see police terrorism and the violation of our rights. Black people and people of color do face stop and frisk all over America. There are independent groups doing great work in fighting stop in frisk in Boston, Philadelphia, New York City, etc. The racist police occupation of Black America is totally unjustified. That is why I support the independent media showing the truth. The mainstream media is dominated by the corporate ruling class. Less than 10 parent corporations own the majority of the mainstream media worldwide. Disney, Viacom, GE, etc. own hundreds of billions of dollars form mass media mergers. The FCC was heavily deregulated by 1996 with the Telecommunications Act. We see the evils of racism. Also, we should continue to advance freedom and self-determination politically and economically. We deserve justice and we are in a class struggle too. The status quo must be challenged if we want to be free. There must be a democratic control of the economy and social ownership of property, so all of the needs of the people are met. Also, it is important for us to help the poor too (that means that we must be in favor of the interests of the working class, and we have to confront economic inequality. We see massive subsidies for the rich, but some want to scapegoat the poor. That is not right. In this time, we see a layer of people having untold wealth, while the masses of people globally suffer in poverty and economic stagnation. This reality must change). The colonial, capitalist system has exploited black people at the expense of the development of Empire and oligarchy. We see Wall Street being protected by the establishment and those who refuse to advance economic justice. So, we have work to do.

Je pense que la tendance droitiste en Europe a existait devant militant Islam, et est contra les immigres du couleur (et quelquefois les immigres Europeen). Fundamentalism Islamique--un phenomenon tres laid--est plus the pretext than the real reason for the resurgence du droit politique. C'est resemble au le Stalinisme. A l'Amerique, le communism etait le pretext for McCarthyism, a handy pretext. No denying the ugliness of Stalinism, but there was little likelihood--virtually 0%--of a Stalinist or communist takeover of the USA. (Interestingly enough, there was less anti-Communist paranoia in France or Italy where Communists encompassed a four of the population than in the USA, where less than 1% were Communist). C'est similar avec militant Islam. An Islamic republic, an ISIS or Taliban regime, simply CAN'T HAPPEN in Europe. (A different matter for our beleaguered brethren in the Middle East. There, in many countries at least, a repressive Islamist state is VERY POSSIBLE). But the fear of militant Islam may be manipulated to legitimize the rolling back of democratic freedoms in Europe and America---the negation of democracy in the name of democracy! That's the great fear I have regarding America and Europe. Just as fascism in the Middle East may find expression in an Islamicist idiom, a l'Europe et l'Amerique it will find an idiom which will not seem frightening on the surface, that will sound as American as apple pie. No doubt, the same will happen in France in other European countries

Why "versus" ? African-Americans vs Africans. Black British vs African Americans. Why must the relation or comparison between different groups of Black people be presented as antagonism or even competition? Is this what we've come to? You seem to be referring in passing to what some call "colorism ", differences and sometimes tensions with the AA community based on differences in complexion. However there's no lack of communication along those lines comparable to the lack of communication that sometimes exist between Africans and African Americans. Partly, this is because there's no cultural differences between light and darker complexioned AA folk. An AA man (of whatever complextion) is more likely to date and marry an AA woman (of whatever complexion) than an African woman. In part, this is due simply to the fact that AA folk of all complexions live together in the same neighborhoods, go to the same schools and churches, and commonly belong to the same family. I am a dark skinned AA man (about Denzel Washington' complexion) and my sis is a light skinned woman (about the complexion of Halle Berry). Our dad (not deceased) was about the complexion of Wesley Snipes, and my mother about the complexion of Barack Obama.. They met and fell in love while still in the Jim Crow South. They simply didn't meet Africans or West Indians in the South in those days. But probably more AA folk (though not in huge numbers) do date and marry African men and women today than in my parents' time. We simply encounter Africans more often, at least those of us who either go to UNIVERSITY or are involved in cultural and political issues related to Africa. As I mentioned before I would probably not even meet many Africans had I not gone to the university, and then also involved myself as a student (in 1980s) with work in solidarity with liberation movements in South Africa. When Black churches, civic and academic and political associations mobilized behind the struggles in South Africa, many of us got to meet Africans who had to flee that fascist regime in Pretoria. And, as sometimes happens when people are thrown together, some of us developed more personal relations with African sisters and brothers.

I am glad that Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed was released from jail. I wish the best for the Sister. Many people are legitimately standing up for the cause of revolutionary changes in the system. The status quo doesn't work. That's obvious. That is why it is great for human beings to advocate the placement of cameras on all police officers, to fight poverty, to fight police brutality, and to make revolutionary changes in communities NATIONWIDE. Black people have every right to expose injustice and to not submit to supremacist thinking. Also, being objective is fine. Yet, being objective is not about denial. You can’t be objective and deny racism, misogyny, and other forms of bigotries in society. That is not being objective. That is being purely wrong. Scholars like exposed the system of white supremacy for years and decades like Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Malcolm X, even Tim Wise, etc. I trust their research a great deal. It is true that white intellectual and physical superiority are pernicious myths. Yet, there are inequalities in society that must be addressed. We must address economic inequality and racial injustice if we wish to see justice flourish in society. It is not about establishing some excuse to fail in life. It is about coming up with a strategy and a plan to confront imperfections that still exist in the globe. It is as simple as that. I wish the best for the movement. We have to deal with IMPROVING the community and we also have to confront poverty, unjust laws, police brutality, and other evils in the world. We must end poverty by stopping the exploiting the poor and allow public resources to empower them. I respect equal pay, and I agree with a living wage for humanity. There is nothing wrong with peaceful protesting and confronting evil at all. People should continue to fight for real social change.
The Russian tennis chief is racist and a sexist. The Russian is being punished for his reckless, stupid statements. For a long time, the beauty, the intelligence, and the dignity of black women have been slandered by ignorant people who have no clue about black people or the resiliency of the black experience in general. Serena Williams responded to the ignorant comments made by that male with eloquence, power, inspiration, and clarity. Serena Williams is a great athlete and I wish more blessings for her and for her family. The beauty of the black African phenotype is undeniable. Dark skinned black women and all black women in general should always be respected as human beings. There are many black men who respect black women. There are many black women who respect black men too. We will always condemn racism, colorism, sexism, and any invalid, retrograde ideology completely. At the end of the day, many people are jealous of Serena and Venus Williams’ beauty, success, talent, and love that they have for their family. As a Brother and as a conscious human being, I wish the Williams Sisters (who are two beautiful and strong Black Women) the best. It is as simple as that. Serena Williams’ new commercial with the headphones is very inspiring too. There is nothing wrong with our natural hair as black people at all. There is nothing wrong with our BEAUTIFUL SKIN at all. We are all black and beautiful. Black women do workout. When I have gone to the gym, I see black women working out all of the time straight up. I know plenty of black female co-workers who work out too. Therefore, the myth that black women don’t work out ought to be repudiated and dismissed as a misogynistic, racist lie. Also, exercise should be used to build people up and not as a way to demonize a person because of their weight or physical appearance. At the end of the day, we all share one planet, we all care for our families, and we are all mortal. We are interdependent with each other as human beings and we should continue on that journey to improve our own lives. I wish the absolute best for CEO of Black Women do Workout Sister Crystal Adell. The video made the excellent point that the First Lady Michelle Obama exercising has inspired people, especially black women. Exercise can save lives literally. The First Lady is right to advocate HEALTHY EATING in society. Even cardio can improve brain power (as in intellectual power, memory, cognition, and problem solving), enhance your mood, and decrease the chances of people having heart disease considerately.
An ebola czar being established was inevitable, because the CDC & others has made huge errors. The government had to create new initiatives as a means for them to try to get a handle on the ebola situation. Ebola is a harsh illness. I am glad over the good news happening in Senegal and Nigeria. At the end of the day, the development of hospitals, other infrastructure, medicine, and other components of society are necessary to combat ebola effectively. We all hope for the recovery of any victim of ebola. Philosophically, I don’t agree with an outright travel ban, because of many reasons (because people can lie, people can go to other nations, it can economically cripple West African nations, etc.). Yet, I know where people, who agree with it ideologically, are coming from. There has to be more investment in medical research and infrastructure to handle ebola. There should be an international collaboration among many nations to address this issue, because ebola is an international crisis. Ebola doesn’t just deal with one nation. Also, we should have an expansion of the assistance to people in West Africa. Also, there should be more coordination with aviation agencies worldwide in dealing with the situation. Ben Carson is right that ebola should be crushed in Africa. I don’t agree with him on other issues, but he is very intelligent in terms of many medical issues. It is important to note that Cuba has sent a lot of doctors and equipment to assist West Africans. This is very good, because West Africans definitely need assistance internationally as a means for them to combat ebola. We should use qualified, dedicated medical professionals to talk about ebola and give real information about it. We should never exploit the illness as a means to violate human rights or expand the militarism of the war on terrorism at all. There should be no wall of secrecy. Honesty and transparency must exist when dealing with this situation. A neoliberal global economy has caused many problems including the expansion of ebola. Massive cuts to the NIH and public health services have caused problems in the world.
The Pumpkin fest rioting is an example of people who acted in destructive behavior. There are double standards here. The mainstream media typically view this incident as an example of over exuberant folks doing the wrong thing and not representative of all white people. Yet, some in the media view the mistakes made by some black people as representative of a majority of black people (which is a total slanderous lie) or use more negative commentaries to describe it. So, we know about the double standard. Rioting in a pumpkin festival is an example of ignorance, foolishness, and disgraceful conduct on the part of the people who acted violently and immorally for no reason at all. The people, who did the wrong acts in this incident (like some throwing bottles that hurt people), are thugs. Like many black victims of murder, many like reactionaries want to slander Michael Brown reputation. Many of them want to equate him with murderers, rapists, and other sick criminals. The truth is that Michael Brown was neither a thug nor a criminal kingpin. He was a young person who was killed by one police officer. The corporate media, including the so-called liberal New York Times, have cast aspersions on Brown’s character. Michael Brown was a fleeing, unarmed young black man who was killed. There have been no judgments of Wilson’s musical tastes, activities, or character by some. Every witness to the shooting has been consistent. These people are diverse in many ways. They all say that Brown and Wilson had a physical altercation through the patrol car window. There all say that a shot or shots were fired inside the car. They say that Brown fled while Wilson continued to shoot at him. They all say that Brown turned towards Wilson while he was already wounded and Wilson continued to shoot him as he fell. Many witnesses say that he held his hands up. One bullet struck Brown in the top of his skulls and another in one of his eyes. We know that civil rights violations made by police and vigilantes exist all over America. It is obvious that Michael Brown ran away and he was murdered.
This is an excellent interview and one of the greatest interviews on the Real News website. It shows that Marshall Conway displaying his excellent insights on the realities that we face today. He is right that it is not enough to eliminate legalized apartheid in America. There must be economic justice and the addressing of racist redlining, police brutality, and other evils in the ghettos of America. The BPP developed in 1966 in response to the horrendous conditions of urban communities (especially in the North, Midwest, and the West Coast). The Black Panthers did an excellent job in helping children (via their free breakfast program), advancing HEALTH CARE SERVICES, and using other community enrichment programs. We certainly have a long way to go in seeing not only the epidemic of police brutality fully eliminated, but we continue to face massive poverty including economic inequality. We have to condemn both domestic repression of the rights of citizens and the imperialism overseas. Yet, we can’t lose hope. We have to continue to be involved in our communities and stand up for the principles that our heroes lived and died for. The Brothers and the Sisters of the Black Panther Party inspire me every day for me to do what is right.

Information on Health, History, etc. in late October 2014
There are numerous benefits of cardio or cardiovascular exercises. Cardio precisely deals with any movements that increases the heart up and increases blood circulation during an exercise activity. Some people love cardio and others hate it. Yet, Cardio is one of the most important types of exercises that a person can do. Many people use cardio as a means to burn off excess calories. People can increase fat loss by using cardio, because calories burned versus calories consumed is a great way of determining an exercise result. One benefit of cardio is that it can improve heart. The human heart is a muscle. The heart can get stronger and we must work it as a means to make it strong. If someone fails to work his or her heart, then it can weaken over time (which can lead into numerous negative health effects). Getting the human heart pumping at a faster rate on a regular basis can keep you in shape and be healthy. So, our heart muscle must be worked. Cardio can increase metabolism. The more intense the cardio session, the higher the metabolic rate will come in. Intense interval sprint or HIIT can increase the metabolism too. Metabolism can increase with EPOC or (Excess Post exercise Oxygen consumption). Cardio also changes the hormonal profile in the human body a lot. Cardio releases “feel good” hormones that can help ease symptoms of depression and fatigue. It can release hormones that decrease the appetite. Studies show that people who do regular cardio exercise often have a much more positive outlook on life simply because they are getting the stress relief benefits from these hormones. Cardio can improve the recovery ability of the human body. In other words, lower or moderate forms of cardio can decrease the recovery time. This can reduce DOMS or the delayed onset of muscle soreness and bring more oxygen rich blood to the muscle tissue improving in the repair and rebuilding process. This means that a person can get back into the gym quicker and work the muscles again. A person needs to have sufficient rest and a overloading of stimulus in order for muscle mass to grow. Additional new muscle can be added in working more a muscle along with recovery being achieved. Cardio can manage diabetes too. When cardio comes about, the muscles can have an increased power to use glucose. Those who exercise regularly tend to have better control of their blood sugars and don’t have as many blood sugar swings as those who don’t. Those with diabetes have great sensitivity to blood sugar levels. Other benefits of cardio include stronger lungs, increased bone density, reduced risk of heart disease and other types of cancers, more confidence, and better sleep. Cardio is diverse. It can be walking, riding a bike, using a treadmill, doing an organized sport, etc. Being patient, mixing exercises up, and focusing on improving the human body are great pieces of advice as well to take when using cardio. Not to mention that cardio can improve the human brain in memory, intellect, etc. "Cardiovascular health is more important than any other single factor in preserving and improving learning and memory," says Thomas Crook, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist and memory researcher. "You're working out your brain at the same time as your heart." Cardio gives chemicals to the brain that develop memory, problem solving, and decision making. "Exercise improves attention, memory, accuracy, and how quickly you process information, all of which helps you make smarter decisions," says Charles H. Hillman, Ph.D., an associate professor of kinesiology and community health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A study in Neurobiology of Learning and Memory found that people learned vocabulary words 20 percent faster after intense exercise than after low-intensity activity. Those who did more-demanding exercise had a bigger spike in their brains' levels of BDNF, dopamine, and epinephrine afterward. So the more you challenge your body, the more your gray matter benefits. The important thing is for a person to do an activity that gets them moving and their heart rate up.
In America, homelessness is a huge problem. We saw more awareness about this issue back in the 1980’s and now (near 2015); we still should address this important issue. There are over 3500 people homeless in Santa Cruz alone. There are over one million homeless children in public schools. Many homeless people are turned away from shelters, so some have no other choice but to sleep in cars or under culverts. Many people have no other option, but to do their laundry in religious locations and some homeless people have tragically died. On any given night, there are over 600,000 homeless people in America according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Some live in short term transitional housing. Slightly over a third of the homeless in America live in cars, under bridges, or some other way living unsheltered. One quarter of the homeless are children. Over 57,000 veterans are homeless each night. More than 90 percent of homeless women are victims of severe physical or sexual abuse. The lack of affordable housing is one major cause of homelessness according to the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty. HUD has seen its budget slashed by over 50 percent in recent decades. This has caused the loss of 10,000 units of subsidized low income housing each and every year. There are fewer places for poor people to rent than before. One eighth of the nation’s supply of low income housing has been permanently lost since 2001. That is why the U.S. needs at least 7 million more affordable apartments for low income families and as a result, millions of families spend more than half their monthly income on rent. Over five million homes have been foreclosed on since 2008. Some resort to search for affordable rental property. Public rental assistance assists only one out of our extremely low income households. Those who do not receive help are on multi-year waiting lists. For example, Charlotte just opened up their applications for public HOUSING ASSISTANCE for the first time in 14 years and over 10,000 people applied. One in five homeless human beings suffers from untreated severe mental illness. About 6 person of the general population suffer severe mental illness while 20-25 percent of the homeless suffer it according to government studies. That is why funding mental health services are so critical. We know that cities are increasingly making homelessness a crime. Many cities make it a crime for people to sleep anywhere in public, make it illegal to sleep in a car, make it illegal to sit or lay down in particular public places, etc. This criminalizes homelessness. Things must change.
We know history too. For many centuries, the slave trade and the Maafa was part of the capitalistic system in Europe and America. The Maafa deprived Africa of millions of human beings and it fermented predatory wars that disrupted the economics of Africa. This caused more Europeans to scramble for the resources of Africa via the Berlin Conference and other immoral actions. The criminal imperialists used the most brutal exploitation of local labor and the wealth of Africa was sent into Western profits. Africans resisted this immoral treatment. They fought heroically for their independence. By the 1960’s, most of Africa gained national independence. Also, we have to realize that even today; we see the political domination of the West in many African regions. Giant corporations still exploit the trade in African commodities. Debt repayment schemes (including the debt reduction schemes of the structural adjustment programs promoted by Western political leaders, the IMF, and the World Bank. Historically, the IMF and the World Bank have been involved in huge corruption) in Africa did not solve poverty concretely. Imperialism readily set up the irrational, arbitrary African boundaries today (because many of these boundaries cross ethnicities and other landscapes without respect to the peoples in Africa). In essence, the working class and the poor must have a role in the development of their own self-determination. Also, we live in a class struggle. Africa should be free without it being dominated by the IMF and transnationals. The peoples of Africa have every right to defeat imperialism and neo-colonialism. We see that Western imperial power, not black Africans, and are responsible for many of the issues in Africa. People need to know that African independence of numerous nations was caused by strikes, by protests, by real social movements, and by struggle. The civil liberties and human rights of African peoples must be protected too. On another note, there is another excellent African musician. Her name is Simphiwe Dana. She is a Xhosa singer and song writer in South Africa. She does an unique combination of Jazz, Afro-soul, rap, and traditional music. She is very vocal on political issues in South Africa. I wish her the best.
1918 was the year of the end of WWI. During this time, two waves of influenza spread globally. That epidemic ended in 1919. These waves killed more people than the war did. On January 8, 1918, President Woodrow Wilson declared his 14 points as the path to permanent world peace. The deal was that WWI was extremely destructive and it was a war that was not witnessed before his human history during that time. So, many people wanted to establish a policy, a program, and an organization to end all wars in general. On March 21, 1918, the Germans launched its first of five offensives. This was done before American troops were in the trenches. The German advance was stopped in late June. The Red Baron or Baron von Richtofen was killed in an air dog fight on April 22, 1918. The German advance was stooped near Amiens by British and Australian troops by April 25. German shells land on Paris in May 23, 1918. American forces stop the Germans on the banks of the Marne near Paris at Chateau-Thierry on May 31, 1918. German troops were being shipped from the Eastern to Western Front to desert in large numbers from their transport trains in July. Former Tsar Nicholas II, his wife, children, and members of his entourage were murdered by the Bolsheviks on July 16-17, 1918. President Wilson agrees to co-operate with Allies in sending volunteer troops to Russia. The Allied counter offensives finally on Somme push the Germany army back and into retreat by August 8, 1918. Allied forces break through German fortifications at the Hindenburg line on September. Then, the German sailors had done mutiny at port when they are asked to sail and fight a hopeless naval battle (on October 28). The Turks sign the armistice on October 30. Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicates on November 9 and a new German republic is founded the next day. At eleven o’clock on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, the war ends as Germany and the Allies sign an armistice. American soldiers and others celebrate the end of the war. The Paris Peace Conference comes afterwards on January 18, 1919. Wilson comes to Europe. Delegates from 27 nations were assigned to 52 commissions, which held 1,646 sessions to prepare reports, with the help of many experts, on topics ranging from prisoners of war, to undersea cables, to international aviation, to responsibility for the war. Their recommendations in the conference transform into the Treaty of Versailles. The major powers (of France, Britain Italy, the U.S., and Japan) ruled the conference. Other treaties came ending by 1923 with the Treaty of Lausanne. Japan proposed a provision in the Covenant of the League of Nations to advance racial equality among nations, but it was rejected. The League of Nations was weakened and it was not strong because of many reasons. The conference divided up territories and punished Germany with huge reparations. The problems with the League of Nations, fascism rising globally, etc. set the stage for WWII.
Even in the 900’s A.D., Nubia and Ethiopia existed. By 979 A.D., we see the rise and fall of the Seljuq Empire. This empire was made up of Muslim Turks from Central Asia who came into Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. The Turkish sultans became the sultanate of Rum. The Ayyubid sultanate grew in size. The Ayyubids were Turkish people. The Seljuq conquests even spread into the Arabian Peninsula. There was the Kingdom of Georgia and the Empire of Khwarazm Shah in Iran. Oman and Yemen existed too. The Seljuq placed strict conditions on Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem. Later, European Christians lead a number of “Crusades” to not only fight Muslims, but to conquer the Middle East in an imperialist fashion. The Europeans temporarily set up a number of Christian states in Syria. This influenced the modern day Christian populations in Syria and Lebanon. The Khwarazm Shah was made up of Turks too. These Turks came from Central Asia. They migrated via invasions for the next two centuries. In the 1230’s, the Mongols ruled much of the Middle East. The Mongols conquered Iran and Iraq. By 1258 A.D, they captured Baghdad and killed the last of the Caliphs. They were only stopped by the slave soldiers of the Mamluq Turks. These Turks controlled Egypt, Syria, and western Arabia. They ousted the last Crusades strongholds on the Syrian coast. The Mongols introduced firearms in the region and the Mamluq armies used them. Genghis Khan created the Mongol empire and his descendants ruled it too. Il-Khans were Mongols who converted to Islam. The Black Death struck the region in the 1340’s. Timur ruled much of the Middle East too. His empire shrank back to Iran. The Black Sheep Turks ruled Iran too. The Ottoman Empire grew and by 1453, the Ottoman captured the Byzantine capital of Constantinople. The Ottoman Empire lasted for centuries. They brought some peace and stability in the region. Still, it used its armies to conquer Syria in 1516, Egypt in 1517 and western Arabia (like Hejaz and Yemen). They ruled Iraq in 1534. Architecture, cultural growth, economic growth developed in the prime of the Ottoman Empire. The Safavid Empire was in Iran. During the 1700’s, the Ottoman Empire maintained its power. Arabic people formed emirates and the Saudi Kingdom. Western interests are more involved in the region too. Nations like Yemen, Oman, and Persia existed by the 1700’s. By the 1800’s, the Ottoman Empire declined. Egypt became independent of the Ottomans. Syria and Iraq once were independent and then became under the control of the Ottomans. Bahrain, Kuwait, and other areas of the Middle East developed. Persia has grown. By the 1900’s, Egypt is under British economic control. The Ottoman Empire is crushed by WWI. Britain, France, and other European powers split up the Middle East in their own images without considerations of the aspirations of the people. Soon, Iraq, Ian, Lebanon, and other nations become independent after WWII. In 1948, Britain left Palestine. The British played both the Jewish and Arabic peoples against each other. This caused tensions. Jewish and Arabic peoples continue to fight to this very day. Both sides claim each side is unfair. Israel declared independence in 1948 and conflicts existed. Both sides have made errors and mistakes. The oil industry in the Middle East has grown considerately. In the 21st century, the Middle East has been dominated with the issues of terrorism, oil, Israel/Palestinian matters, wars, trade, and other geopolitical affairs. These issues have been very complex with not only Israeli and Palestinian divisions. There are Sunni and Shia divisions (there are Kurds in the region as well) too.

A Very Great Point
hernandayoleary2 4 hours ago:
The real question I wonder is why people in the so called liberty movement who are quick to denounce the tsa for "intrusive" searches are all more than happy to justify the stop and frisk type policies or shooting of unarmed minorities by government officials. I find it strange the same site that defends armed militia groups who often have criminal histories like ruby ridge and david koresh and those likes are quick to defend police officers who shoot people who aren't white. It makes one think that the liberty movement is a white man's war. I struggle to see any other explanation for why so many white people in the freedom movement are pro government -shooting of unarmed black children but so anti-government in every other area. Leads one to believe there is a racial agenda going on here. Then there whole talk of closing the border, when far more people are dying from unvaccinated people in texas spreading the flu nation wide than ebola makes one wonder. No American has died from Ebola this year yet thousands have died from the flu. Should we shut the border with europe?
The freedom movement has become a white man's racist crusade, one that i do not intend to participate in because of its overt and subvert racist attitudes that I do not intend to stay quiet on. Strangely, where was all these white people against big government when the us government passed the homestead act, gi bill, va bill, new deal, FHA LOANS and hand out billions to rural farmers in Iowa and all. The tea party is an inherently racist movement aimed at stopping non-whites from accessing any federal funding to get similar bailouts as the white banksters got. The tea party was formed to stop the common man from getting a bailout like the banks received. And we all know this because a large portion of the subprime borrowers were non-whites. Now many poor whites have lost their house too due to racism whites "trying to stop big government".
Strangely those same white people will noot give back the house, farm or land they got from homestead act or new deal or va or gi bill or other big government bills.

Now many poor whites have lost their house too due to racism whites "trying to stop big government".
Strangely those same white people will noot give back the house, farm or land they got from homestead act or new deal or va or gi bill or other big government bills.
