O'Reilly Goes Insane Over Illegal Immigration & Donald Trump

I think O'Reilly has got to the point where he is losing it. Over the last few months he just seems to be a bit more unhinged and volatile. Not that he's ever been the most cordial of individuals, but there's just something different about him today. He has moved even more to the far-right and is more of a right-wing loon than I have ever seen, all while claiming to be a fair and balanced Independent with a no spin zone, which is just laughable.
It reminds me of that person who has just done something for so long they either bow out gracefully when they're burned out or they eventually just spiral into a shell of their former selves - and it's usually never pretty to watch. That's what I think is happening to O'Reilly.
Take for instance last night's show where he absolutely snapped, accusing the mayor of San Francisco of being responsible for the death of Kate Steinle, who was allegedly shot and killed by illegal immigrant Francisco Sanchez. Oh, and he also called the Obama administration complicit in her tragic death.
"Here's the deal. Here's the deal," O'Reilly said. "The mayor and city supervisors of San Francisco are directly responsible for the murder of Kate Steinle, and the Obama administration is complicit."
Which is just insane, because the guy was deported 5 times, and he just kept coming back. So they did their job, he just refused to stay out of the country. Which also proves that deportation does not work, because they can just come right back across the border, something else O'Reilly ignores.
Now, what's his logic for such a bold claim? Because San Francisco has very lax immigration laws where the city has claimed it won't comply with federal laws pertaining to illegal immigrants, and apparently the Obama administration hasn't done anything about it.
Ignoring the fact that immigration is a federal matter and not a state deal, the feds are in charge of immigration, not the states, because they do not have the money to deal with immigration issues, and O'Reilly knows that, but he totally ignores it.
O'Reilly then went on to defend Donald Trump, claiming that this is all about political correctness and the fear of being seen as anti-immigrant by taking action against San Francisco.
"Which is why Trump caught so much hell," O'Reilly stated. "The Constitution demands that the federal government protect Americans from foreign intruders, demands it. Obviously, that responsibility's not being met. And if you point that out, as Trump did, you're a racist. A piñata for the open border crowd to bash. The fact that a felon could be deported five times and still be walking around San Francisco should shame Congress."
First of all, people didn't call Trump a racist for advocating for border security. They called him a racist because he called most Mexican immigrant criminals and rapists, when the majority of them are just here to work and are not criminals or rapists.
There's a big big difference between saying we need to secure our borders and going on multiple anti-Mexican tirades where you call them criminals and rapists. But even beyond that, the alleged shooter had already been deported five times, so it's not as if the federal government wasn't enforcing our laws. No matter how secure you want to try to make the border, people are going to find ways in.
The argument Bill O'Reilly is using here is the exact same kind he often attacks when it comes to issues such as guns. I'm sure Mr. O'Reilly would strongly object to one using the Charleston shooter to blame the NRA and Republicans for the nine lives lost that night.
After all, they're the two groups who fiercely fight against any laws or regulations that seek to prevent mentally unstable individuals from obtaining guns. But it does go to show you just how petty and hypocritical someone like Bill O'Reilly can be. To use the tragic death of a young woman just to try to defend a racist while attacking liberals and President Obama is low, even for him.
Jon Stewart Slams Republicans Defending Racist Idiot Donald Trump

Last week Jon Stewart lost it when it came to Republicans defending Donald Trump's offensive and racist remarks about Mexican immigrants. After a hilarious mocking of Trump that involved comparing him to a monkey that throws poop at the zoo, Stewart set his sights on those who have defended his comments, especially where he claimed the majority of Mexican immigrants coming to the U.S. were probably rapists.
Stewart said this: "It is hard to get mad at Donald Trump for saying stupid things, in the same way you don't get mad at a monkey when he throws poop at you at the zoo. It's a monkey. It's what they do. In some ways, it's on you for watching. What does get me angry is the ridiculous, disingenuous defending of the poop-throwing monkey."
He then showed clips of Rep. Steve King (R-IA), Fox News Bill O'Reilly, Steve Doocy, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) all downplaying, denying or defending Trump's pathetic remarks. "That is such buzzword-nothing bull," Stewart said of Cruz trying to claim this outrage over Trump's comments is about the PC media not wanting to admit there's a problem with immigration. "Who doesn't want to admit what?"
Stewart then played Trump's comments in slow motion, at one point using a bouncing ball you might see on a child's sing-along video to emphasize what the GOP presidential candidate was saying, since so many other Republicans seem to be trying to claim that's not what he actually said.
"Stop pretending," Stewart said. "Trump said Mexico is purposely sending us drugs, killers and rapists. And within that group there may be, he's not sure, some people who are good. That's the part he's not sure about. He's only sure about the overwhelming number of killers, rapists and drug addicts Mexico has sent us. That is what he said."
He also made sure to point out that a study Trump quoted to back up his insane claims was actually referring to how 80 percent of the women who risk the trip to the United States are raped -- which is completely different than the nonsense Trump is saying.
Stewart then tried to look on the bright side to all of this, saying there's no way someone like Trump, who's clearly a babbling buffoon, is ever going to be taken seriously -- only to have his hopes crushed when he showed several polls where "The Donald" had jumped into second place among Republican presidential candidates. You have got to be kidding me, Stewart said as he went to commercial.
That pretty much sums up the shocking reality that Donald Trump has skyrocketed to become a leading candidate for the GOP nomination.

Racist Ann Coulter Takes Credit For Trump Comments On Illegal Immigrants

Anti-immigrant conservative pundit Ann Coulter is claiming responsibility for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's incendiary rhetoric characterizing Mexican immigrants as criminals and "rapists."
On June 1, Coulter released the book Adios, America, in which she claims to document the Democratic plan to turn the United States "into a third world hellhole" through immigration from places like Latin America. The book recycles nativist talking points and, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, "routinely cites white nationalists, anti-Muslim activists and anti-immigrant groups" to attack immigrants, especially on crime.
During his June 16 presidential announcement speech, Trump said the U.S. "has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems" such as Mexican murderers and rapists:
TRUMP: The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. Thank you. It's true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us.
They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we're getting. And it only makes common sense. It only makes common sense. They're sending us not the right people.
Trump's remarks sparked a massive backlash from Hispanic advocacy groups, businesses tied to him, and even some Republicans. Many of the stooges on Fox News, however, have defended Trump. And Coulter has frequently appeared on the conservative network to push Adios, America, but nowhere else, because no other tv networks will have her on.
Coulter suggested that Trump's rhetoric came from her book in a July 2nd tweet, writing: "Where do you think all that spicy stuff about Mexican rape culture came from? @realDonaldTrump got an advance copy."
Coulter also praised Trump in a July 1st column, claiming he "broke the embargo on unpleasant facts about what our immigration policies are doing to the country."
On May 26th, prior to the book's publication, Trump tweeted: ".@AnnCoulter's new book-- 'Adios, America! The Left's Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole'-- is a great read. Good job!"
On June 20th, after Coulter praised his candidacy, Trump tweeted: "Thank you @AnnCoulter for your nice words. The U.S. is becoming a dumping ground for the world. Pols don't get it. Make America Great Again!"
New York magazine's Annie Lowrey reported on June 25th that Coulter believes Trump "clearly" read her book. Coulter reportedly thanked Trump for bringing attention to the issue:
But she worried that Republican candidates would duck the issue rather than staking a strong claim, thus alienating either the pro-immigration or anti-immigration crowd. Save for one candidate, she mused: Donald Trump, who had "clearly" read the copy of ¡Adios, America! that she had sent him. "Nobody talked about Hispanic child-rape until now," she said. "That was in his opening speech!"
The Donald just might be the one to push the issue to the forefront and to pin down other candidates on their policies, she thought. "There is no possibility in any debate that there will be one question about immigration, the No. 1 issue in the country according to polls," she said. (The economy generally trumps immigration in voter surveys.)
"There won't be one question on it! There will be six questions on gay marriage, global warming, abortion, rape, sexism, the glass ceiling, a million questions on ISIS," she said, then rolling her eyes and snoring loudly for rhetorical effect. "But there won't be one question on immigration. Now maybe there will be. Thank you, Donald Trump."
Jonathan Chait (also with New York Magazine) wrote that Trump has been "repeating the Coulter lies."
Because "Studies show that immigrants have lower rates of violent crime than native-born populations."
A 2007 study by University of California, Irvine, sociologist Rubén G. Rumbaut, found that for every ethnic group, without exception, incarceration rates among young men are lowest for immigrants, even those who are the least educated. This holds true especially for the Mexicans, Salvadorans, and Guatemalans who make up the bulk of the undocumented population.
-- The 3.5 percent incarceration rate for native-born men age 18-39 was five times higher than the 0.7 percent rate for immigrant men. Among male high-school dropouts, 9.8 percent of the native-born were behind bars, compared to only 1.3 percent of immigrants.
-- Only 0.7 percent of foreign-born Mexican men and 0.5 percent of foreign-born Salvadoran and Guatemalan men were in prison. Among male high-school dropouts, 0.7 percent of foreign-born Mexicans and 0.6 percent of foreign-born Salvadorans and Guatemalans were behind bars.
A June 2008 report from the Public Policy Institute of California found that foreign-born adults in California have lower incarceration rates than their native-born counterparts. Based on data from 2005, the report found that the incarceration rate for foreign-born adults is 297 per 100,000 in the population, compared to 813 per 100,000 for U.S.-born adults.
The foreign-born, who make up roughly 35% of California's adult population, constitute 17% of the state prison population, a proportion that has remained fairly constant since 1990.
And btw folks, Immigration Violations, Not Violent Acts, Account for Most Immigrants in Federal Prison
Many of the immigrants in federal prison have been criminally charged with an immigration violation and nothing more. In other words, they may be in federal prison even though they have not committed a violent crime or even a property crime. Their only crime was entering the country without permission. The federal government has chosen to prosecute more and more unauthorized immigrants for unlawful entry rather than simply deporting them, which means that they end up in federal prison.
He added that Trump has also been using a Fusion article to support his claims about Mexican immigrant criminality even though the piece "in no way supports his point. The article describes the travails of undocumented-immigrant women who are frequently raped by smugglers and gang members on their journey into the United States. It does not describe rapes being committed by immigrants themselves."
The problem of crime in the United States is not caused or even aggravated by immigrants, regardless of their legal status. This is hardly surprising since immigrants come to the United States to pursue economic and educational opportunities not available in their home countries and to build better lives for themselves and their families.
As a result, they have little to gain and much to lose by breaking the law. Undocumented immigrants in particular have even more reason to not run afoul of the law given the risk of deportation that their lack of legal status. Public policies must be based on facts, not anecdotes or emotions. And the fact is that the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals.
Ann Coulter may be the biggest liar in America, and yet the vast majority of the Republican party love her and worship her, even though everyone else hates her and does not take her serious, and about 90% of what she says is a lie.
