Many GOP leaders and Trump supporters being silent on Trump disrespecting women, black people, veterans, the families of veterans, and other human beings speaks volumes to the Trump supporters' cowardice and disgraceful conduct. For the record, Trump is wrong to call Omarosa a low life and a dog. Trump is once against using sexist and racist language because he is a racist and a sexist. This is not new as Trump disrespected Lebron James, Maxine Waters, Frederica Wilson, and other black people in derogatory terms. People can disagree with Omarosa on some issues, but she shouldn't be called out of her name. General Kelly threatened her too when Kelly is a known liar and disrespected Frederica Wilson too. Once again, we have to be focused on our families, our friends, our communities, and our future. Our future should promote freedom and justice completely. The story of Omarosa is that you can't trust a snake and Donald Trump is a snake. She defended Trump once and then the Trump team fired her. She once wanted us to bow before Trump and now she is criticizing Trump. That is why we should never place another man as an idol. Omarosa had recordings in the situation room since she felt that others wouldn't believe her. We know that Trump is a racist. She also said that there is a tape of Trump using anti-black slurs too. I don't believe that Omarosa should be called out of her name. Yet, Omarosa should apologize to April Ryan and the black community in general for once supporting such a deceptive, heinous person like Trump. Hate crimes have increased since 2016.
I'm consistent on that. Omarosa is a smart person. She was just wrong to originally ally with the Trump regime and she paid a price for it. Now, you have Rudy Giuliani giving multiple reasons about Trump campaign meeting with the Russians. Rudy is acting confused since he fears that Trump may have a perjury charge if Mueller interviews him for real. Also, Rudy has a guilt complex because if Trump is totally innocent, he would never use every avenue possible in trying to escape an interview with the Mueller team. Therefore, we have to key our eyes on the important issues. These issues are about our health care, our housing, our education, our economy, police brutality, racial justice issues, the War on Drugs, and other matters that we care about. We can't fall for the okey doke and we have to be on our mission to fight for justice for all. We reject racism, xenophobia, sexism, Islamphobia, and any evil injustices. Democracy is worth saving and protecting.
Yesterday was the Birthday of the charismatic Sister Jacqueline Yvonne Harry. She is now 62 years old and she was born in the South at Winston-Salem, North Carolina. For people of my generation, we know of her from 227 (which is about an African American family in Washington, D.C.) and Sister Sister (which is about two adults raising twins who were separated at birth). She has played in roles that deal with drama, comedy, and other types of acting involving film and television. She studied acting at the High School of the Performing Arts in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. She was an American History teacher at Brooklyn Technical High School before beginning a career on the New York stage. From the 1980's to this very day in the 21st century, she has performed magnificently in theatrical productions found in Broadway, etc. Everybody Hates Chris and Let's Stay Together are shows during the 21st century that Jacqueline Harry has been a part of as well. Jacqueline Harry became the first African American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for 227 in 1987. She won NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Sister, Sister two consecutive years in 1999 and 2000. Jackée Harry is blessed with a great sense of humor, a powerful work ethic, and a true love for performance. I wish Sister Jacqueline Yvonne Harry more blessings.
Change (as in real change) will be uncomfortable at many times. Change is the enemy of the status quo since the status quo maintains the systematic problems of racial and economic injustice in the first place. Therefore, real discussions gets down to not only outline the immorality of racism and oppression. It gets to the heart of why these evils exists in the first place and eliminating the structures of oppression, so humanity can exist in a system of justice. This takes a total holistic approach. It isn't just about boycott or legislation. It takes a combination of boycotts, protests, investments, education, legislation, growth of progressive institutions, and ending structures of racial discrimination too. Solutions always deal with action and courage. They relate to standing up for an ideal even if the majority abhors you. There was a time when a majority of Americans supported the Vietnam War, but anti-war activists including Dr. King spoke out against that evil war even when Dr. King was criticized heavily for his stance. That is why we have to speak the truth in season and out of season.
There is nothing wrong with prayer either. Part of living life is about using discernment and there is tons of evidence that showed Trump's extremism long before 2016. Some people have to escape the naivete in believing in the myth that racism must be solved by ignoring it or having an askance attitude about it. To end evil, we have to confront it. Racist white people have shown the evil of not only bigotry, but the slander of downplaying a person's dignity by virtue of color. Tons of black people have outlined the same story of dealing with working environments. People should be kind and cordial along with standing up for their human rights at the same time. In the final analysis, human liberation can never be thoroughly completed without black liberation. Our freedom is tied to the world's freedom as we are the first humans on this Earth.
