Standing Up for One's Dignity.

Now, it has been 6 months since the 1/6 insurrection. We will never forget that horrendous day. Terrorists invaded our U.S. Capitol in trying to stop the legal transition of power in American society. They stormed the U.S. Capitol, desecrated objects, and flown Confederate including neo-Nazi flags.  As high as 30 percent of many Republicans (in numerous polls) believe in the lie that the 2020 election was stolen. We believe in democracy not fascism. Democracy means that voting matters, and the peaceful transfer of power is paramount. Unfortunately, we didn't experience a peaceful transfer of power in 2021. Congressional leaders were almost killed by insurrectionists. Congressional people like Mo Brooks and Gosar either believe in the big election lie or ally with white racists. The terrorists took the batons out of U.S. Capitol police's hands on that day. Also, we desire our interests as human beings to be respected. There is new video footage about the carnage and destructive events. Over 500 people have been arrested too. We know that the Oath Keepers, the Trump supporters, and other fascists have been complicit in the 1/6 terrorist attack. The FBI is searching for 300 unidentified rioters. We know about many irresponsible reactionary Congressional people who want to whitewash or sugarcoat what is going on in our society.

We know of the story of the white racist fascists who marched in Philadelphia in masks as the police just looked on. There were about 200 of them marching in downtown Philadelphia near City Hall. They did this on late Saturday night and early July 4th morning. They had combat boots, khakis, polo shirts, white masks. They carried American flags and shields. They chanted fascist slogans, and they believe in the lie that Trump won the 2020 Presidential election. Their banner read "Reclaim America." They were chased off the street and out of town by counterprotesters and local residents. The police only detained some fascists like Thomas Rousseau before releasing them all. Another fascist group called Patriot Front has vandalized school campuses nationwide. Many of them have vandalized Black Lives Matter and George Floyd murals. We know that many Proud Boys have shaken hand with the cops in September 26, 2020 in Philadelphia. This is a neo-fascist domestic threat in America.

Now, some strange feud has taken place among 2 unlikely people. This feud is between Joe Buddens and Alex Jones. Joe Buddens is a retired hip hop artist (known for his mixtapes and battle rapping) who has a podcast. Alex Jones is a famous radio host based in Austin, Texas. Jones is known for being a far right paleaoconservative. The issue is that Joe Buddens accused Alex Jones of being a racist similar to the Klan. Alex Jones took offense to that and responded to Joe Buddens. The truth is that Alex Jones is a fraud and racist for many reasons. Years ago, a black woman accused Alex Jones and other for making racist remarks and sexual harassment towards her. One person on Jones's team accused Alex Jones of making an anti-Semitic remark to him. Alex Jones disrespected the womanhood of Michelle Obama, he said that Barack Obama (and Jones compared Obama to al-Qaeda) could not have been born in America, and he defended George Zimmermann. Jones is known for his xenophobia and glorifying the Alamo when Mexico made a law to ban slavery (the Alamo was created in part for the purpose of white settlers to own slaves. Alex Jones has made xenophobic statements for decades now). Alex Jones is known to make false predictions too. Alex Jones supported the racist and sexist Donald Trump for years. Jones hypocritically claims to be for liberty, but Trump has promoted anti-democratic policies like promoting overthrowing legal elections, limiting the freedom of the press, and desiring to use the military to harm peaceful protesters in Washington, D.C. last year. I don't agree with Joe Buddens on him beating on women or his antics, but we have to call out Alex Jones on his lies like claiming that Sandy Hook was an inside job. I heard about Alex Jones for almost 20 years now.

There is the news about the journalists Maria Taylor and Rachel Nichols. Maria Taylor is a very talented journalist from ESPN who reports on football and basketball. Taylor wanted more money because of her talent and merit. Yet, ESPN is hesitant in giving her more money. Rachel, on tape, said that ESPN is only considering to send her more money because of ESPN's diversity scandal. Rachel was wrong in her comments, because Maria Taylor has worked very hard to get where she is at. Taylor is an athlete, studied journalism, and knows about athletics proficiently. So, we all salute Maria Taylor completely. Even Adam Mendelsohn on tape said that he is exhausted by BLM and the MeToo movements. He had to apologize for her words. Stephen Jackson is wrong for saying that Maria had the job for the NBA Finals via a "sympathy job." Jackson is totally incorrect, and he should be ashamed of himself for making such a statement. Then, Jackson later poor shamed black people and said illogical nonsense in defense of Rachel Nichols. That shows me that we as black people have to stay on code and support our community. Rachel gave her supposed "apology" on air, and Maria isn't hearing it which is Maria's right. Maria Taylor is a heroic black woman who knows about sports, works hard, is humble, and stands up for justice. She deserves all of the respect in the world for her own accomplishments.

Like always, we will defend our black people. Recently, the writer Claire Lehmann disrespected not only the young track and field athlete Sha'Carri Richardson. She slandered Flo Jo as a drug user which has no truth or merit at all. Like usual, Claire didn't apologize. I didn't expect her to apologize, because fake people like Claire will take the low road instead of the high road. These hating people always have some jealousy about black people. We know the reason why they are jealous. So, we are clear to stay on code. We will defend our icon Flo Joe and express empathy to a young athlete who wants to move forward after the marijuana issue. Therefore, we will continue to live life unapologetically black.
