The End of the Afghanistan War (2001-2021).

   

President Joe Biden is sticking by his crucial decision. He spoke about ending the military involvement in the Afghanistan war. He spoke plainly that he takes responsibility for his ultimate, final decision. He is right to say that the war has to end. You can't allow American troops to permanently be in Afghanistan forever and ever. At the end of the day, you have to allow the Afghan people to fight for their own freedom. There is no strategic U.S. interest in Afghanistan. Likewise, there is a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan against women, children, and other ethnic groups. We have to defend human rights in any nation of the world and that includes the nation of Afghanistan. Yet, a military response alone won't solve this problem. You have to use a complex, diplomatic and progressive policy to address human rights worldwide.There are about 123,000 people who have been evacuated from Afghanistan. Many Americans and translators desire to leave, and I believe that America should use resources to allow those human beings to leave from Afghanistan too. You can't have permanent war. So, the Afghanistan war ends. It's a new chapter in our history, but we don't believe in isolationism. We believe in being open, but our love of democracy doesn't mean that America should be a global Empire.

 

There is a massive change in Afghanistan. Soon, American military forces will leave the nation of Afghanistan. This war ended in the realm of controversy. The Afghan people shouldn't be blamed for the Taliban occupation of this nation. The vast majority of the Afghan human beings fought for their country. The problem is that Western imperial policies in Afghanistan and a cowardly Afghanistan central government caused a victory of the Taliban. There are 2 extremes that must be rejected. One group of extremists believe that permanent U.S. occupation of Afghanistan is needed to cause tranquility. The other group of extremists desire isolationism. The reality is that it is important to make Afghanistan better by not having a permanent military presence in that nation. The only people who can only fight for Afghan freedom are from the Afghan people. 

Now, there have been U.S. troops preventing many rocket attacks in Kabul.   Many in the corporate media ignore that Trump had the Taliban to go to Camp David to form a bad exit strategy. The GOP hypocritically criticized Biden, but some of them refuse to allow Afghan refugees to go into America. The Afghanistan people are owed the right to go into America if they desire. We know of the U.S. soldiers who died as a product of ISIS-K terrorists. We also know that in the future, there must be strident policies to address present and future humanitarian issues in Afghanistan. Biden has helped to evacuate about 120,000 people from Afghanistan.

Days ago was the Birthday of the late, great hero Fred Hampton. The movie of Judas and the Black Messiah detailed his life in massive terms (even the FBI informant O'Neal). He was the leader of the Chicago branch of the Black Panther for Self Defense. He was a natural born leader being born in Summit, Illinois in 1948. As a child, he played sports and graduated from high school. Fred Hampton was once a youth civil rights activist from the NAACP who fought Jim Crow apartheid. Later, he joined the Black Panthers in order to promote human liberation. He organized breakfast programs, he helped with health care, and he publicly stood up against police brutality. He called himself and his allies revolutionaries. Fred Hampton was honest to expose not only capitalist exploitation. Fred Hampton helped to organize truces among Chicago gangs and make them politicized (in a movement called a Rainbow Coalition where people of every color would unite to defeat capitalist oppression).  From the North Side, the Loop, South Side, and West Side, Fred Hampton changed countless lives. He also was against the Vietnam War, and had a huge sense of charisma. He was very brilliant person intellectually as he know about economic/political philosophers, he knew about economics, and he knew about how the establishment uses tactics in trying to divide the people.  That is why J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI used COINTELPRO in trying to ruin the Black Panthers. The FBI and the Chicago police worked together to promote division and harass the Black Panthers in Chicago. Fred Hampton knew this, and he kept on going. He was assassinated on December 1969 along with fellow Panther Mark Clark. All bullets except one came from the Chicago police. Their deaths were so unjust that both Clark's and Hampton's families received money from the government. Courage is always part of Fred Hampton's legacy. His girlfriend and his son continue to promote his views and his legacy all of the time in Chicago. Many unsung people were Panthers like Chaka Khan. Fred Hampton loved black people, and his Blackness inspires us to this day.

The Texas voter suppression legislation is one of the most unjust legislation in human history. It bans drive thru early voting. It bans overnight early voting. It imposes criminal penalties on election workers under certain circumstances. The bill heads to Gov. Abbott's desk. Abbot is one of the worst Governors in history. Abbott is a gun worshiping, states' rights worshiping, and true Trump follower despite tons of people rejecting his nefarious agenda. This is the GOP's agenda plainly speaking. There is absolutely no justification at all for this law to exist period. This law is not about freedom. It is about the far rights' fear of demographic changes in America and their agenda to suppress progressive values. We still have hope for the future. We have to fight for our rights. The Texas voter suppression bill must be challenged in court, and federal legislation must be passed by Congress. This is no time for moderate capitulation. It's time for courage and truth. This battle for voting rights is not over. Truth is on our side, and we have the people on our side (as the majority of the American people believe in creating new laws that expand voting rights for Americans).
