Developments.

The legal FBI search at Trump's Mar-A-Lago home has been tied to classified materials according to sources. The FBI seized about 12 boxes of material from Trump's home. This happened on Tuesday, and the search warrant was legal. Involving federal inquiry, it involved the highest level of the U.S. government to search into Trump's home. We know that Trump is one of the most corrupt Presidents in history. The operation has been criticized by many far-right extremists, but these extremists are hypocrites. They claim to care about the rule of law, but they desire Trump to escape any accountability from the law. They claim to love the blue or the police, but many of them were taped cursing out the U.S. Capitol police when the January 6th, 2021, the terrorist insurrection took place in the U.S. Capitol. They claim to love God and Christianity, but they don't follow the Golden Rule in dealing with immigrants, black people, women, and anyone who disagrees with their extreme agenda. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden was not briefed ahead of the search. Republicans rush to Trump's defense because they are liars. They claim that Trump is a victim when Trump made it his business to try to weaken libel laws, was involved in a conspiracy to attempt to overthrow American democracy as we know it and supported the Muslim ban. Trump is a fascist and an enemy of democracy in the world. That is why Trump has praised authoritarian dictators like Putin and the President of Brazil. Kevin McCarthy called the search warrant an act of weaponized politicization which is false. Trump (who is supported by Jim Jordan, Mike Turner, and Marjorie Green Taylor) is threatening to sue CNN over CNN rightfully calling Trump a liar for Trump claiming that the 2020 election was stolen.

Some people want to underestimate the results from the Biden administration, but this current administration has made many positive contributions to American society. President Biden has been out of medical isolation from catching COVID-19 twice. He has been to Kentucky to support the victims of flooding in the state and give hope plus inspiration to the victims of the natural disaster. In this year alone, we have massive economic jobs growth, one of the most wanted terrorists not on Earth anymore, and major legislation being passed. The recent Reducing Inflation Act (that deals with climate change, infrastructure, and health care) has been passed by the Senate (and soon will be law). Biden signed other progressive legislation that is one of the most powerful legislations records of any modern President since the days of F.D.R. and L.B.J. Most Americans support Medicare by negotiating drug prices, support reducing the deficit, and support dealing with climate change with policies. Biden signed the recent computer chip bill that will benefit technological advancements in American society too. We have a long way to go involving foreign and domestic issues too. There is a crisis in Ukraine, the region of China, and in other places of the world. There is high inflation involving food prices and other necessities of goods plus services. Gas prices are going down too.

We have some good, historic news. The Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act. It didn't get everything that we wanted, but most things that we want are there. It has sweeping health care and climate bill provisions. It has the largest climate investment in U.S. history. It allows Medicare the power for the first time to negotiate the princes of certain prescription drugs and extend expiring health care subsidies for three years. The legislation will reduce the deficit by new taxes and having a 15 percent minimum tax on large corporations. It has a 1 percent tax on stock buybacks and boosts the Internal Revenue Service's ability to collect. It will raise over $700 billion in government revenue over 10 years and spend over $430 billion to reduce carbon emissions and extend subsidies for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. The rest of the new revenue will be used to reduce the deficit. Senator Joe Manchin and Arizona Senator Krysten Sinema made changes to the bill, so it would be passed. Vice President Kamala Harris broke the tie-making vote to send it to the House. From the House, President Biden signs the bill into law officially.

Yesterday was the Birthday of the late Sister Whitney Houston. Whitney was the Voice, and she was the greatest vocalist of our generation period. Whitney Huston appealed to everyone, whether someone was a fan of R&B music or not. Her soul came from her family, her culture, her Blackness, and her talent which is once in a generation. The church had a key part of her success, as the church cultivated her musical skills. Many of the greatest singers of all time were raised in the choir from Aretha Franklin to Mahalia Jackson. Newark, New Jersey is the city of her birth. Her style and her swagger are all Newark. With selling over 200 million records worldwide and having great vocal improvisation skills, there is no one like Whitney. Before Beyonce, before Leona Lewis, before Mariah Carey, before Amerie, before Fantasia, before Jennifer Hudson, before H.E.R., before Toni Braxton, before Christina Aguilera, before Ella Mai, before Tamar Braxton, etc. there was Whitney Houston eloquently singing her heart out for the audience. She was one of many black people who grew popular culture into new heights of glory.

Her first album was Whitney Houston in 1985, and her second album was Whitney in 1987. During that time, she was an immediate success. We loved her skills, and she made singing an art. All of the greats do that. Her gift was the power of her voice being controlled in a crisp fashion. Most of her music was about love, romance, learning lessons about life, and God. She made numerous gospel records too in a solo fashion and with her friends like members of the Winans family. People know of her hits like I'm Your Baby Tonight, I Will Always Love You, How Will I Know, Saving All My Love for You, and I'm Every Woman. Whitney Houston made unsung records including The Preacher's Wife soundtrack in 1996 being the best-selling gospel album of all time. She was a model and a film producer who helped produced movies like Cinderella. In 1997, The Princess Diaries, and The Cheetah Girls. Her music also symbolizes the soundtracks of the experiences of women in general (especially black women) like Heartbreak Hotel, My Love is Your Love, I Look to You, etc. She had a spinto soprano vocal range. As one of the top 5 greatest vocalists of all time, Whitney Houston gives folks goosebumps with her sonic abilities. Whitney loved to build up the newer generation of singers like Brandy, Monica, and Jordin Sparks (who worked with her in the Sparkle film which came out in 2012. I saw the film before). Whitney Houston transitioned in 2012 when I was almost 29 years old. Her spirit has no more pain anymore. She is with the Heavenly Father now (with the Son).

She is the Best.

Rest in Power Sister Whitney Houston.
