The Montgomery, Alabama riverfront massive fight has been talked about and discussed worldwide. I never made a public statement on here before in an in-depth way until now. The truth is that the fight was caused by one person who pushed an African American co-captain of the riverboat. The black captain desired to not allow a private boat to dock in a designated and reserved area along the waterfront. The rightful docking boat that should have been docked at that location was the Harriott II Riverboat which carried 227 passengers. The incident happened on Saturday at about 7 pm. The black co-captain of the riverboat is Damien Pickett. Pickett talked to the boat owner. The boat owner confronted the captain in a hostile way. Later, one-person assaulted Pickett for no reason. Pickett's hat flew in the air. A group of other white people cowardly jumped Pickett unjustly.
Later, one young black person swam in the water to protect the co-captain. There was a break. Then, there was a second round of fights between the white boaters and a group of black human beings. People were hit by a folding chair. The boat owners refused to move their boat for many minutes. The co-captain was doing his job and used self-defense against rambunctious people who refused to move their boat. Three men were charged who were Richard Roberts, Allen Todd, and Zahcary Shipman. A witness recently said that a group of the white men were saying the n word, so this situation has a lot to do with arrogance, disrespect, and race. More people could be charged. We want justice to be enacted, and this incident certainly united many black people in America to express solidary with the right of black people to defend the life of a black person being unjustly jumped by others. Our black lives certainly do matter, and we have the right to enjoy the blessings of liberty just like anyone else.
The Trump trial continues. Ex-Trump lawyer John Eastman seeks to postpone his disbarment proceedings because Eastman is waiting for possible charges against him. Now, the federal grand jury has reconvened on Tuesday for the first time since handing up an indictment last week against former President Donald Trump. The grand jury heard evidence in Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into the aftermath of the election leading up to the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol for almost one year. The issue now is the protective order. Judge Chutkan wants the Special Counsel and Trump's legal team to give her two proposed dates and times for a hearing on their dueling protective order motions. The prosecution believes that the protective order is necessary to stop Trump from making comments about the case in an inappropriate way, and the defense team believes Trump is protected by the First Amendment. Back in the year of 2020, I knew instinctively that Trump will lose the 2020 election. Now, we live in a new time. Vice President Kamala Harris is right that when unions are strong, then America is strong as she talked to promote the infrastructure law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Republican Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is not only a racist, colorblind advocate. He is a person who disrespected the federal holiday of Juneteenth. That certainly means that I don't support him at all. Vivek like Tim Scott and Nikki Haley believe that systemic racism doesn't exist in America (which is a lie. We have tons of studies proving systemic racism in health care, policing, education, and other aspects of American society. These studies are documented by civil rights groups, the Brookings Institute, etc.). Vivek Ramaswamy said that Juneteenth is a "useless" holiday that should be replaced with an Election Day holiday. His mostly white audience chuckled and applauded him. Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom from the tyranny of slavery being very useful. It is a disgrace that Vivek Ramaswamy would say such offensive rhetoric, but people like him in the MAGA cult are fully known to spew racist rhetoric. Vivek doesn't agree with affirmative action either. Juneteenth, as a federal holiday, existed after the unjust murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. Vivek (who is an entrepreneur) is so extreme that he wants to eliminate early and electronic voting. He supports abolishing the Department of Education, wants to increase the voting age to 25 (except for those who are in the military, work as first responders, or pass a civics test), and wants to fire half the federal workforce. He's a far-right extremist in my view. This new generation of pro-Trump extremists like Vivek are threats to the democracy that our ancestors fought for indeed.
In Iran, women are banned from not wearing a hijab in public. Iran proposed using cameras, jail terms, A.I. surveillance, and degrading punishments who defy the evil hijab law. This is fascism in Iran. Iran is headed by extremists and fascists who exploit the religion of Islam as an excuse to violate the rights of women and other human beings in Iran. Many heroic Iranians have fought for freedom and are standing up for justice. Freedom is not just an idea that should exist in America. It should exist worldwide for all people. This freedom has nothing to do with neo-conservative ideologies or imperialism. Many try to exploit the concepts of liberty and justice in order for them to advance the lie that every nation on Earth must confirm to the image of America. The fundamental point is that humanity is diverse culturally and socially. So, you have to allow nations establish their own versions of freedom in their own image (that rejects fascism and oppression against people).
