As time goes on, we know more about the Baltimore Bridge disaster. Far-right extremists and racists have used the racist slur of DEI mayor to describe the young black mayor of Baltimore. When cowards try to use DEI negatively, we know that it's beyond coded language. These people hate diversity and hate black people. Now, The Francis Scott Key Bridge came down on the Patapsco River. The six people presumed to be dead are immigrant workers from Mexico and Central America. This reality comes amid the massive anti-immigrant attitude that is unfortunately found in America. The truth is that immigrants made great contributions to American history, and oppression harms both immigrants and non-immigrants alike. Baltimore's mayor helped to increase jobs, lower the crime rate, and caused Baltimore to witness a new era of progress. Yet, with progress, we have to acknowledge how far we have to go. Now, the shipping industry is a major part of our economy. In modern society, we have a battle between people who want private profit over the needs of the people and people who want the fair distribution of wealth. World trade has increased in the past half-century. We have automation (which has historically cut many jobs in the world), containerization, and large ships. The problem is that in America, we need to modernize our bridges now. The bridge that fell down was made in the 1970's which shows the need to update our infrastructure more. One 2021 estimate made by the American Society of Civil Engineers; that America has a backlog of $125 billion of needed bridge repairs. Corporate exploitation and lax infrastructure contribute to many disasters. The bridge in Baltimore should be rebuilt and a more democratic expression of wealth must exist.

The Princess of Wales, Catherine, having cancer at 42 should make us aware of the seriousness of cancer. The big myth of cancer is that cancer just happens to just older people or people with a weakened immune system. The truth is that cancer doesn't discriminate, and a higher percentage of young people experience cancer every day. There is a global rising trend of people having cancer being younger than 50 years old. There are women in their 30's with breast cancer, men in their 40's with prostate cancer, and other adults in their 40's with heart disease. The global incidence of early-onset cancer has increased by 79.1% and early-onset cancer deaths rose by 27.7% from 1990 to 2019. This is documented in a 2023 study found in the Journal of BMJ Oncology. Dr. Kimmie Ng, a medical oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute told the Boston Globe last year that people born in 1990 have over double the risk of getting colon cancer compared to those born in 1950 (and quadruple the risk of getting rectal cancer). People want to know why this is happening. Some researchers believe that environment and lifestyle have a bigger role in the increase of younger people having cancer than just genes. This is why eating ultra processed foods, sugary drinks, too much red meat, smoking, excessive alcohol, sleep patterns, physical inactivity, and other factors will increase inflammation in the body causing a higher risk of people getting cancer. So far, many scientists don't know about how there is an increase in young people getting cancer (Yet all evidence shows that the radiation and other chemicals in the environment and certain foods are causing this reality). That is why exercise, eating healthy, reading, being active, being social, getting adequate sleep, drinking water, and getting regular medical check-ups put together will decrease cancer risk among any human being.

There are much economic news going on today. Many Waffle House workers were on strike in Atlanta, Georgia. The reason is that they demand an end to their mandatory meal deduction policy. Deducting $3 from their pay every shift, regardless of whether they eat or not is unjust. Some Waffle House locations pay some workers as little as $2.90 an hour before tips. No human being in America can survive on such small wages. This is why the unions are growing in America. The RNC asked job applicants if they believe the 2020 election was stolen in "litmus test." This is just wrong as the 2020 election was never stolen at all. NBC fired former RNC chair Ronna McDaniel. This can come because of outcry by the public including other NBC workers. We can't allow any media to glorify people who believe that the 2020 election was stolen or claim that Trump is some holy candidate. Also, pressure from Bernie Sanders and the House caused Big Pharma giant GlaxoSmithKline will cut the price of their inhalers to $35 a month for most U.S. patients. Some cost as high as $791.

Robert Kennedy Jr. announced his Vice-Presidential candidate as Silicon Valley attorney and entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan. He made this announcement at a rally in Oakland, California on Tuesday afternoon. Robert Kennedy Jr. wants to expand ballot access in America. As part of the First Amendment, RFK Jr. has the right to promote his Presidential campaign. Likewise, I have the right to not to vote for him for many reasons. Some fear that he may be a spoiler candidate that will cause Trump to win the election in 2024. On the campaign trail, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris held an event on health care in North Carolina. Robert Kennedy Jr. has been criticized by many human beings on his views on vaccines and other subjects. Shanahan questions the impact of prescriptions and vaccines on children. Ironically, we have an increase of measles in America, because some people don't want their children to have lifesaving vaccines which are required in many public places to allow children to go into public schools. 

Some breaking news is that former Seanor and Vice-Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman passed away at 82 years old. He was devout in his faith in Judaism. He was a dedicated moderate who made history in many respects in the political world. Before he passed, he fought for freedom in Ukraine. Historically, he promoted bipartisanship in Congress. When he was in Congress, he was the running mate of Al Gore's 2000 Presidential campaign. Lieberman was the first Jewish American Vice-Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party in American history. He was a friend of John McCain. He believed in consensus in trying to solve problems. I don't agree with him on every issue, especially on his defense of the Iraq War back in the 2000's. He was an ally of the No Labels movement, which is a movement I disagree with on a plethora of issues. One of the greatest loves in the Universe is the love of a wife, and Joe Lieberman loved his wife. Blessed is the man who shows love to his wife. I send condolences to his family and friends.
