Fascism promotes violence as Trump has promoted violence constantly. Fascism believes in the myth of racial superiority and racial superior bloodlines and using the state to dominate society. Trump called migrants vermin. Trump made the anti-Semitic comment that any Jewish Democrat is disloyal to America. Fascism is related to a form of social Darwinism to demonizes and harming people who are suffering harshly.

Two of my cousins were involved in the Normandy invasion like many of our relatives, so this day is a solemn day for me personally. It represents the heroes who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, and it outlines the necessity for our generation today to stand up and speak up for democracy, for liberty, and for equality for all people. Many people spoke, and many human beings assisted the living veterans of Normandy to applause and reflection. The survivors today of Normandy are now in their 90s and 100s seeing a new era of human history, but the same goal of liberation means the same.
