Freedom and Truth.

 

Donald Trump is targeting Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen (who is right to say in a concert that the Trump administration is violating due process rights of residents and American citizens, trying to illegal force universities to accept his political agenda, and seek authoritarianism in American society), and James Comey, because they disagree with Trump using their God-given free speech rights. The reality is that Trump and his allies want to try to curtail dissent against the fascism of Donald Trump. FOX News is a propaganda network for Trump, when true media should maintain impartiality. I remember years ago when FOX News lied and claimed to be Fair and Balanced when Bill O'Reilly had his show on FOX News. They have gotten rid of their lying phrase and turned more into extremism. Trump posted from a deranged Qanon member. You can't indict or punish free speech for the sake of trying to end dissent. Trump wants people to abuse federal power in going against democratic rights. One ousted DOJ lawyer said that the Attorney General wants the DOJ to be the lawyers of Trump (when the DOJ should follow the Constitution, regardless of who is President).

Many people who are Democrats have criticized Rubio's job performance. Marco Rubio hypocritically claims to have a moral compass, but he defends the illegal deportation of an American resident to El Salvador without due process of law. He defends Trump sending white South Africans to America, but Trump has stripped the legal status of many Haitian migrants. Marco Rubio is the son of an immigrant but agrees with Trump who has deported even U.S. citizens without due process of law. Rubio is the worst kind of traitor to democratic values because he tries to be something that he is not. He is not a moderate, and he is not a lover of freedom. He is a far-right extremist who allies with a tyrant in the White House who desires to defy the orders from the Supreme Court. Rubio, regardless of what he says, must submit to the law as the executive branch is not infallible. We have three co-equal branches of government (the executive, the judicial, and the legislative), and folks have to respect the separation of powers, including the rule of law.

Ryan Clark recently made excellent points about Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. She told the truth that Angel Reese has been targeted by many bigots who use racist microaggressions and tropes. This comes as a result of many black women being falsely stereotyped as being super angry or lacking human empathy. Racists call non-black women being expressive and fiesty as just being themselves, but they abhor a confident black woman because of sexist and racist reasons. I met tons of black women. I was raised by a black woman and a black man. I have loved black women my whole life. Therefore, I will always honor black women's dignity, legacy, and humanity. Angel Reese has shown a dedication to excellence. Ryan Clark is right to say that Caitlin Clark is a great basketball player in her own right, giving credit to black legends before her time, and condemning racism. Angel Reese is a businesswoman, athlete, and loves her family. So, Clark is correct that many people want to play Clark and Reese against each other, but we should allow both athletes to shine their own greatness in their own ways on their own accord. Ryan Clark is responding to RGIII comments that Angel Reese hates Caitlin, which isn't true. RGIII is known to make racist comments by calling black people slurs (like the j word), lying saying that Jackie Robinson and Jesse Owens weren't political in the sports world (when their social activism on the field and outside the field was completely political), and fetishizing his own wife (calling her milk) because she is white. RGIII has made problematic comments for years. On a podcast, he was laughing with his wife at a black person saying he does not play in the mud which is a racist comment. RGIII responded by saying Clark disrespected his wife (when Clark didn't. Clark just said that his wife is worth more than the color of her skin), and he knows about the experiences of black women (RGIII possibly could understand some of the experiences of black women because he has a black aunt, mother, and other relatives. Yet, RGIII has shown a complete disdain of unapologetic black social activism by his comments about black people for years). Fundamentally, we black folks don't care who you marry, but you don't have to make a fetish out of your wife to claim that you love your wife. Far too often, we have some black people who want to dehumanize black people, which is self-hatred. Ryan Clark made solid points.

Former President Joe Biden having prostate cancer is a sign that men should get tested for prostate cancer. You have insensitive people like Elon Musk and others on the Internet making false statements about Biden's illness, and others are being gleeful about it (which is sick). The recent book about Biden and his mental acuity shows how many in the corporate media play with Trump with kid gloves but desire the Democrats to be perfect at every step. There is a double standard when some in the corporate media want to compromise with MAGA voters (who voted for a notorious felon, racist, and sexist for many reasons), and they desire the centrist status quo. Wall Street interests hated Biden, because Biden passed some of the most progressive legislation since the days of LBJ and FDR that helps millions of Americans. 

Putin used lies and historical revisionism during Victory Day in Russia. Putin said his words over three decades after the end of the Soviet Union since 1991. President Boris Yeltsin was the first President of Russia after the Cold War. Putin said that the war against Hitler was merely a matter of national defense. The reality was that the Red Army was created by Leon Trotsky after the October Revolution to fight the Russian Empire. During WWII, the Red Army was made up of Russians, people from Central Asia, and other ethnic groups, including religious minorities. The word Russia was in widespread use by the time of Ivan III. Russia's first emperor was Peter I in 1721. Before 1721, there was no unified Russian state, but East Slavic tribes and other ethnic groups in Russia. Stalin once allied with Hitler until Operation Barbarossa, when Hitler invaded the Soviet Union. The Stalin regime killed thousands of Trotskyists and leaders of the October Revolution. Putin wants the growth of his power through imperialism. Putin runs an oligarchical regime. Also, Putin is complicit in war crimes by allowing his military to murder civilians in Ukraine. Right now, there is no Russian agreement to a ceasefire which Ukraine accepted weeks ago, no clear U.S. involvement in further talks, and no mention of U.S. sanctions on Russia. It is important to note that there are freedom loving Ukranians and Russians who want peace in that region, so we have to make that clear too.
