LBJ's comments on JFK assasination 1969

______________________________

You forgot to mention LBJ yapping at how "bipartisan" his Warren Commission was. As if it mattered how many Republicans or Democrats were represented on a panel investigating the violent death of the POTUS. His selections were only intended to "legitimize" a phony "investigation" with a predetermined outcome. LBJ is heard on tape cajoling Sen. Russell to be "my man" on the Warren Commission, and said "all you (Russell) have to do is evaluate a Hoover report he's already made!"

_____________

Another reason the Warren Commission hasn't stood the test of time is the wholly implausible motive they attributed to Oswald. To wit: "He sought for himself a place in history- a role as the 'Great Man' who would be recognized as having been in advance of his times."
So..Oswald supposedly killed the leader of the Free World to achieve his 'place in history', yet he DENIED responsibility for the act that would have put him in that place?
Totally incongruous w/common sense.
