In the midst of the losses found in the stock market, Trump has declared war on Ukraine's independence. The Trump budget resolution called for $4.5 trillion of tax cuts for the super rich (which will grow the deficit ironically enough) and this same super rich facilitated massive austerity cuts at the expense of working people. Federal courts should impose real civil and criminal contempt penalties on officials who violate court orders. Elections matter. Anyone who said that elections don't matter should realize that if Kamala Harris was President right now, this crisis would never have existed in the United States. Harris would never praise Putin, Harris would never advocate firing thousands of federal workers without just cause, and Harris would never say that the 2020 election was stolen. In 2026, Democrats can take the House, and Virginia can elect a new, progressive Governor. Trump, Musk, Vance, RFK Jr., and Tulsi have proven to be sellouts and extremists. If people want to control the deficit, they can have a 25% alternative tax on billionaires, 28% capital gains tax on billionaires, 28% corporate income tax, and increase the federal minimum wage. Prime Minister of Denmark Matte Frederiksen said that Europe only has 2 months to protect the continent from Russia or it will be too late. We know what Putin wants. Putin has Estonia as a client state. Putin wants Ukraine and Eastern Europe to be a satellite of Russia. If Putin is not stopped, he could invade Poland which could spark WWIII. Hopefully, that won't happen.
Trump said that he will stop federal funding for any college, school, or university that allows so-called "illegal protests." This is fascism. People have First Amendment and free speech rights. Trump hypocritically complains about censorship on social media but wants to restrict free speech on college campuses. Trump supporters have been silent on this issue, but they are total disgraces. They have no support from me regardless of their color or creed. They voted for a man who is ruining American society in real time. Many protesters are at town hall meeting because Trump and Musk have cut federal jobs from NOAA, the IRS, and other federal institutions. Reactionary Trump tariffs don't create American jobs or lead to more U.S. production. Trump's last trade war cost about 300,000 jobs. Trump's EPA wants a GOP proposal to block states from warning consumers about toxic chemicals sprayed on their food. One chemical that could be banned from labels was called "poison" by Trump's own HHS Secretary. This administration is the most anti-environmental administration in U.S. history.
Trump has paused military aid to Ukraine. This is not shocking. Trump is either compromised by Russian intelligence or he is blatantly ignorant of what he is doing. Let's be perfectly clear. Putin is a liar, a murderer, and a far-right dictator. Any fake anti-war activist who denies that doesn't know Putin or the truth. Second, Ukraine is using legitimate self-defense against Russian military invaders. Trump's actions are like America refusing to send arms to the British to fight the Nazis during World War Two. Zelenskyy has been humble in standing up for his country, and the Trump administration embraces Russian propaganda and wants to cozy up with Putin. The lie from fake anti-imperialists is that promoting self defense is equivalent to desiring to invade Russia. We don't advocate invading Russia. We advocate Ukraine to be free from an illegal Russian invasion. That is the difference. This traitor Trump gave a speech to Congress.
Angry constituents continue to flood town hall events with GOP legislative people. These people speaking out are against DOGE cuts and the harm done to veterans and other federal workers. These radical cuts are harming our society, and Musk plus Trump are completely wrong in their radical austerity agenda. Elon Musk calling Social Security a ponzi scheme is a lie. Social Security is a legal insurance plan when people work to earn Social Security benefits. I have my 40 credits, so I worked long enough to be eligible for Social Security benefits when I am at my 60s. Social Security existed as a law after President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed into law back in 1933. Meanwhile, Musk and DOGE agents are cutting medical research and other important avenues that people need.
Trump wants to stop financing new weapons to Ukraine. These weapons are used by Ukraine to express their God given right of self-defense against Russian invading imperialists. Israel has blocked the entry of food into Gaza and plans to cut power and water. This is disgusting from Benjamin Netanyahu, who is the most far-right Prime Minister of Israel. Yet, it's not surprising. Ever since I heard of Netanyahu back in the 1990s when I was watching Channel One, I knew that he was a hardliner who doesn't care about real peace but his own ego. Blocking entry of food and water to suffering Palestinian people is an overt war crime. Netanyahu trying to essentially starve the population in Gaza and ethnically cleanse the area is demonic. There is no other way to put it. The Trump White House of course endorses this nonsense, because Trump supports Netanyahu unconditionally. Hypocrites lecture us on voting, but their voting for Trump caused this to happen. If Kamala Harris was President, she would condemn this. Israel is not upholding its ceasefire agreement is a calculated provocation to promote mass starvation of the people of Gaza and seize their lands. Trump wants to seize the land of Gaza to make a resort strip. Israel's Channel 14 reported that Energy Minister Eli Cohen wants to shut off Gaza's electricity supply at the next Israel cabinet meeting.
