Vice President Kamala Harris will issue new economic policies for small businesses and communities in an economic speech on Wednesday. This is part of her second wave of economic proposals set to be revealed soon. Kamala Harris wants to say that she (in New Hampshire) to want an expanded tax deduction for costs associated with starting a business and removing regulatory hurdles like filing requirements and operational licenses for a business of a certain size. She wants more legitimate populist policies to increase government involvement in retail pricing and the housing market. Harris wants community-based lending. She desires to promote legislation that provided capital to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) which is dedicated to help low income people and communities that are missed by traditional lenders.
Now, John McCain's son doesn't agree with Trump appearance at Arlington as a violation. He believes that he turned the cemetery into a campaign backdrop. John McCain's son is 1st Lt. Jimmy McCain. He is the youngest son of the late Senator John McCain. Jimmy McCain now has changed his voter registration to Democrat and plans to vote for Kamala Harris in November 2024 as he told CNN in an exclusive interview this week. He is opposing Trump publicly because Donald Trump has a long history of using disrespectful language against military human beings. He served in the military for 17 years. He represents how many Republicans are shifting their voting patterns to ally with Kamala Harris after witnessing what another Trump term would entail. His sister, Meghan McCain will not endorse Harris, because she said that she is a lifelong, generational conservative. Jimmy McCain wants to continue to work in veteran advocacy work.
Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden are campaigning in the labor city of Pittsburgh. Biden said that working-class people helped to build up America being a fact. He wants Harris to be President. Kamala Harris said that Biden is one of the most transformative presidents in American history. Harris said that the Biden administration is the most pro-union President in American history. Many people spoke at the rally like Governor Shapiro and other political leaders including union leaders. Kamala Harris wants to present herself as the person in favor of union rights, pensions, paid family leave, and other economic benefits for working people. She wants to contrast herself with Donald Trump, who she says represents the past. Pittsburgh is in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, and this election will probably be close. Trump continues to issue baseless personal attacks against Harris. Kamala Harris said that she is an underdog candidate, and Harris will continue to campaign nationally. The economy is a major issue in this election. Also, immigration is an important issue. We need border security to deal with drug trafficking, transnational gangs, and trade in general, but we need a humane policy in dealing with immigrants (regardless of immigration status) deserving of dignity and human rights (as documented in national and international law. America is a signatory to many international treaties for decades). Unfortunately, we have many Americans who are xenophobic by demagoguing the immigration issue as an excuse to promote the lie that comprehensive immigration solutions are equivalent to dissolving America as we know it. America is the most diverse nation in human history and our diversity is part of our strength.
In your life, never allow people to diminish racism in the world. When innocent black people were murdered in Buffalo, that took place recently not in the 1800's. Many of our 2nd and 3rd great-grandparents were slaves which was not a very long time ago either. Racists believe in the myth that standing up against oppression is equivalent to racism. That isn't the case as when the slave revolts existed in the Americas, people wanted to legitimately become free from slavery, from rape, and from human exploitation in general. The paradox of racists is that they know they are wrong, but they use tactics of deflection and manipulation to try to whitewash history.
The real truth shows that racism has a long history. Ota Benga was a young black teenager who was kidnapped by racists and forced to be in a zoo causing pain. Sarah Baartman was kidnapped and exploited by racists to be placed in a zoo in Europe. Sarah Baartman suffered so many injustices that she had a nervous breakdown. Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, and Carol Denise McNair were murdered by racists in the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama when they were just worshiping God. The incidents of police brutality, Jim Crow apartheid, the peonage system, the banning of affirmative action in colleges, and other genocides represent the systematic nature of racism. Only a sociopathic person would deny these crimes against humanity. The only solution is to fight racism with policy changes, real laws, boycotts, building just institutions, and other actions to eliminate racism once and for all.
