There is anger by Israeli protesters after the bodies of six hostages were found in Gaza. These innocent hostages were murdered by Hamas in a brutal, evil fashion. Hamas is a terrorist organization that has murdered innocent human life, raped women, and bombed civilian locations. They are not freedom fighters. They don't represent the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people. Now, this tragedy of the deaths of Israeli hostages and Palestinians has inspired many Israeli protesters to desire Benjamin Netanyahu to resign. Some want a work stoppage in Israel. The protesters want a ceasefire to end the conflict and allow all Israeli hostages to be free. One of the hostages who died was an Israeli American citizen whose name was Hersh Goldberg-Polin. The hostage advocacy organization of Families Forum said that Netanyahu must take responsibility for his failures. Also, Palestinians have a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. There is a campaign to vaccinate hundreds and thousands of children in the location against polio, starting on Sunday. There is value in overt human compassion and empathy. Also, stubbornness can be a detriment. So, Netanyahu has been stubborn to refuse to enact a revolutionary solution, because he is pro-Trump and wants to maintain his power (as he might be charged or investigated if he is not Prime Minister of Israel anymore). One Tel Aviv municipality is to join a nationwide strike in a sign of solidarity with hostages and their families. The strike desires to put pressure on the Israeli government in trying to have a hostage deal that would free the remaining Israeli hostages. The IDF said that its air force struck the Hamas command center in Gaza City. Also, it is important to acknowledge the massive causalities among the Palestinian people. More than 40,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war started back on October 7, 2023, according to the health ministry in the location of Gaza. This comes after the Israeli further occupation actions in the West Bank, the growth of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and the massive infrastructure being destroyed in both the West Bank and Gaza (it will take billions of dollars and years in reparations to truly rebuild Gaza).
The Arlington National military situation shows Trump's disrespect for the military and his cowardice. Jim Kelly said that Trump made derogatory comments about military people. The Arlington woman official was pushed by a Trump aide according to the Arlington National Memorial officials. The woman has not pressed charges because of fear of being attacked by Trump supporters. Trump has been pictured near a tombstone without the family's permission too. Arlington National military protocols condemn partisan activities because it is hallowed ground where people honor the passing away of military veterans. Trump called military people suckers and losers, mocked a Gold Star veteran, and went out of his way to minimize the sacrifice of military heroes. Therefore, no one should be surprised at the illogical, offensive, and reactionary commentaries that Donald Trump has made about military service people. We should let the record be clear about what the military heroically did for us. Many military heroes (including my ancestors) were in the American Civil War and World War 2 freeing millions of human beings from bondage, genocide, and other forms of oppression. Some military human beings have protested for just economic compensation like when they participated in the Bonus Army decades ago. The military has rescued the lives of Americans who were victims of natural disasters and other horrendous circumstances. Many military heroes delivered supplies, worked in charities, and became Presidents like John F. Kennedy, etc.
Advice is always an honorable way to gain insights about the issues of life. As human beings, our ideological values are influenced by our experiences, our families, our cultures, and other realms of intellectual growth as we live on this Earth. In our generation, people seek answers to mysteries and problems in life. Over many years, more of the younger generation rejects the same moderate, conventional plans that only strife social development. Fundamentally, bold and diverse revolutionary plans are necessary to liberate the human race. One lesson of life that I have learned in living on this Earth for more than four decades is to have a sense of self-control. Throughout human history, men and women lacking self-control have led a life filled with anti-social behaviors, evil actions, and the destruction of their own lives in a vicious fashion. Not to mention, that we must be clear to use logic and wisdom in getting results achieved. Also, there is the question of expressing emotions. Many people are wrong to say that humans should never express emotions. Other people are wrong to assume that folks must irrationally show emotions. The truth is that there must be a time to show emotions as we are human beings. In our lives, we have every right to show happiness, joy, anger, and sadness in different seasons of life. Likewise, we must not be carried away without our emotions to distract us from our real mission in life, which is to follow righteousness, rely on God, and help others. In the late summer of 2024, we understand Africa and Blackness at a high level. Another great life lesson is following. It is to realize that your character and your morals must be strengthened to grow your overall legacy. Having all of the money in the world means nothing if a person's character is wicked. Being in the best shape of your life amounts to something insignificant if you are disrespecting people daily in a cruel, vulgar fashion.
That is why following the Golden Rule plus with improving yourself makes perfect sense. Black is Beautiful. There is nothing wrong with our melanin, our noses, our lips, our hair, and our bodies that the Most High God created. There is always a remnant of black people who exemplify courage, strength, loyalty to the black community, and honor. Other people in the community are traitors and sellouts who desire massive materialism at the expense of altruism. The sellouts are agents by default who want to scapegoat black women or black men for all evils in the world, who desire to minimize the importance of pan-African unity, and who seek to advance division for the sake of division (not real unity in the realm of black people globally). We realize the names of the traitors by name. Some of their names are Charleston White (who disrespected a man's daughter in evil terms), Clarence Thomas, Tommy Sotomayor, Jesse Lee Peterson, etc.
It is our duty and responsibility to reject the agendas of traitorous people. Subsequently, we recognize our own power to establish collective action, grow true organization, and build solutions to build up our community. That is why I will always defend the black community, stand up for goodness in society, honor Blackness, reject gender war lies, and believe in Black Love. The key reality is that we must establish programs, independent institutions, grow our technology, develop our infrastructure, and do other actions to liberate our people globally (not just in America but around the world). Our local problems are interconnected to global problems. One example is the massive pollution in America is found in many areas of the world. The same type of police brutality found in America is found in Canada and the countries of Europe too. We acknowledge our black heroes back in the past like Robert Smalls, Harriet Tubman, Marian Anderson, Alice Coachman, Jackie Robinson, Malcolm X, and Bessie Coleman. Modern-day black heroes are in existence in our generation too. These people, who should receive their honor, are Amanda Gorman, Victor J. Glover, Cynthia Marshall, Nicholas Johnson, Sydney Barber, and Aicha Evans. If a person ignores health issues in the black community, ignores environmental racism in our community, ignores imperialism, ignores corporate corruption, and seeks to whitewash history, then that person is an agent, not a real revolutionary. In our generation, many corporate oligarchs are supporting Trump for the tax cuts, not because they are on the cutting edge of society. Some Trump supporters and far-right people claim that Trump is representative of true masculinity (as said by Joe Brown, who is wrong). The truth is that Trump has been found legally liable for rape, questioned the ethnic identity of Kamala Harris, curses out peaceful sports protestors who knell (to reject racism and police brutality), said that he wants to be a dictator on day one, called the 2020 election a hoax, and wants to ban birthright citizenship. Trump expresses extremism not the true essence of an upright, respected man. Great men and great women believe in dignity, empathy, justice, and moving forward with our core convictions intact. So, we believe in treating people with dignity and with respect. Also, we will make one thing clear. There is nothing wrong with promoting the right of black people to live free (with an economic base, with legitimate power, and with a sense of confidence to grow the black community in constructive ways).
There is information about my 2nd paternal cousin named Welton Burton. He was a professional oyster shucker at Port Mahon. He was 51 years old when he passed away on Saturday at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Delaware. His wife is Marir Sample of Exmore, Virginia. He had two sons of Welton Burton Jr. of Camden, New Jersey, and Clifton Burton of Exmore, Virginia. He had three daughters who are Betty Anne Burton Hickman (b. 1945), Welton Burton Jr. (b. 1946), Barbara Burton (b. 1948), and Essie Delois Burton (b. 1949). My third cousin Betty A. Burton married Winford W. Hickman (1945-2009) in March 1965 at Franklin Township, Somerset, New Jersey. Their children are Nina Broadnax (She was born on January 31, 1966, and was married to Vance Broadnax since December 5, 1988), Wallace Winiford Hickman (b. 1970), Shaneene Hickman (b. 1968), Deion Hickman (b. 1971), and Lynette Hickman (b. 1967), who are my 4th cousins. Winiford Hickman was born in Cape Charles, Virginia, and lived in West Cape May, New Jersey for over 40 years. He was a landscaper and owner plus operator of Hickman Lawn Care. He worshiped at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Cape May, New Jersey, was on their Board of Trustees, was their church sexton, and custodian. Nina Dorelle Hickman and Vance John Broadnax (b. July 1956) had these children who are Alijah V. Broadnax (b. 1995), Teran W. Broadnax (b. 2001), and Renin W. Broadnax (b. 1998). They are my paternal 4th cousins. My 4th cousin Deion M. Hickman lives in Rio Grande, New Jersey whose 2 children are Rayvon Knight (b. 1990) and Keyonna D. Knight (b. 1993).
Now, the children of Welton Burton (1924-1975) and Marie Julia Sample (b. 1926) are Betty Ann Burton Hickman (b. 1944), Welton Burton Jr. (b. 1946), Barbara Burton (b. 1948), Essie Delois Burton (b. 1949), and Clifton Burton. Welton Burton's parents were Henry Burton (b. 1884) and Essie Rogers (1890-1950). The children of Henry Burton and Essie Rogers were Henry Burton Jr. (b. 1916), Langstone Burton (b. 1916), Clifton Burton (1919-1977. He lived in Philadelphia), Frezel Burton (1920-1996. He lived in Cape May, New Jersey), Tyson Burton (1922-1999. He lived in Wildwood, New Jersey), Welton Burton (1924-1975), Louise Burton (1924-2013. She lived in Exmore, Virginia), and Ernest Burton (1927-1999. He lived in West Chester, Virginia). The late wife of my cousin Frezel Burton was Dorothy H. Burton or "Dot." The couple loved their children of Tina (and Butch) Browser, Frezel Burton Jr., Guiseppi (and Charlotte) Burton, James (and Sandra Burton), Henry (and Linda) Burton, and Lynette Burton. The parents of Henry Burton were James Burton (1848-1931) and Ann Eliza Brickhouse (1857-1921). The parents of my 2nd great-grandaunt Ann Eliza Brickhouse were my 3rd great grandparents Johnson Brickhouse (b. 1826) and Julia Perkins (b. 1835). The parents of Johnson Brickhouse were my 4th great-grandparents of Benjamin Brickhouse II (1791-1878) and Eliza Collins (b. 1805). The parents of Benjamin Brickhouse II were my 5th great grandparents Benjamin Brickhouse I (b. 1750) and Polly Brickhouse (b. 1760).
There is the story of Ernest Burton too. He lived from February 10, 1927, in Northampton County, Virginia to June 5, 1999. He married Mary Ester Collins (b. 1930) on June 30, 1947, at Northampton County, Virginia. Their children are Burlene Burton (b. 1947) and Mary Louise Burton (b. 1949). My 3rd cousin Burlene Burton married Richard Lee Johnson (1945-2016) on August 7, 1965, at Exmore, Virginia. Their children are Richard Suvester Johnson (b. 1965), Valerie Victoria Johnson (1965-1965), Emma Michelle Johnson-Surgis (b. 1969), Gregory Johnson, and Agaitha Johnson Mears. Richard Suvester Johnson has been married to Lisa Diane Wallace (b. 1966) since September 2, 1988, in Northampton, Virginia. Emma Michelle Johnson-Sturgis is married to Kevin Lefonda Sturgis since December 20, 1997, in Northampton County, Virginia (their daughter is Ka'Shella Sturgis).
