NY Attorney General Letitia James.

 

The New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted at least on 1 count of bank fraud and on another count of making false statements. This is obviously a vengeance indictment by Trump and his acolytes. While Trump wants to occupy cities with the military, while he is firing innocent federal workers, and while he desires to ban mail-in ballots, he wants revenge against people who politically oppose his extreme agenda. That reality outlines Trump's profound insecurity as a person. I support Letitia James' right to prosecute Trump for his financial corruption. This indictment in my opinion, is an overt witch-hunt. First, the DOJ has indicted James Comey, and this news transpires. Trump wants more Republican power through voter suppression efforts, intimidation, and other threats against the American people. Trump is no real President, and his regime is overtly fascist. Trump has no moral right to lecture people on morality when he is a coward, immoral male (not man). Trump supports his budget bill, but it sends tax cuts for the super wealthy. Even some fake liberals want to sugarcoat the corruption of Putin when Russia has been found conclusively to have committed war crimes against Ukraine and interfered with the 2016 election at least. To be honest, Letitia James has great integrity, and we see the weaponization of the DOJ in trying to punish those who oppose injustice. Many attorneys were fired by the DOJ for refusing to indict Comey and James. Trump has publicly said that he hates his enemies. Trump obviously hates progressive black women who hold him accountable for his crimes, and we stand with New York Attorney General Letitia James.

We live in economic troubles. If nothing is done, we could face a real recession in 2026. That is why the time is now for people to buckle up, save their money, and invest in their money. Right now, Trump cut the job reports sent to the American people. There is a video of ICE agents firing pellets at a Chicago pastor who was peacefully protesting outside a detention center in Illinois. The ICE agents involved in these attacks are notorious cowards. The pastor is planning to sue ICE for the assault. The Texas National Guard is being sent to Illinois by a disgraceful Governor Abbott. That is why we endorse the rule of law, the separation of powers, and true equality and justice for all. Comey wants to seek a vindictive prosecution dismissal.

When I call Trump a tyrant, I am not using hyperbole. I am using reality. When Trump tries to shut down the Kimmel show for his political views, that is tyrannical. When Trump recently wanted to place into jail the Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker to be placed into jail, because Trump believes that they aren't treating ICE officers right, then that shows that Trump is a fascist and a tyrant. The reality is that one ICE member pointed a gun at a U.S. citizen unjustly. This U.S. citizen just took a picture of the ICE agent. Many ICE agents have beaten journalists, grabbed people off the streets, and threatened to arrest U.S. citizens in the Chicago area and across America. It's rich on Trump's part to claim that Johnson and Pritzker aren't protecting ICE officers when many of these ICE members are violating due process and engaging in constant racial profiling constantly against the American people. People have every God given right to oppose ICE raiding an apartment building filled with black U.S. citizens, where they terrorized men, women, and children in a grotesque fashion. Also, Trump is a convicted felon who pardoned criminal felons involved in the January 6th insurrection. So, Trump is a hypocrite who claims to follow the law but mocks the law by pardoning terrorists involved in the January 6th by pardoning them. There can be no silence. People from across the political spectrum must express dissent with dictatorship and fascism. Our democracy must be preserved and strengthened.

Today, we have a framework for a deal with Hamas and Israel. This has been a long time coming. We hope for peace for the Palestinians and Israel. The deal has many components. The deal wants all hostages released, hundreds of Palestinian prisoners gone, and Hamas not controlling Gaza politically anymore. The finalization of the deal may take days or weeks. What is true is that we all want this war to end completely. There have been thousands of deaths, land displacements, war crimes, and mayhem. No rational person desires these conditions in Gaza permanently. That is why we have to act like adults and promote a strong resolution.

Recently, the radical centrist Stephen A. Smith criticized Jasmine Crockett. I don't respect the views of centrists because centrists benefit from the sacrifice of revolutionaries and progressives who made the work possible for the centrists. Also, centrism is nothing more than capitulation to the status quo, not a real solution. Frederick Douglass, Dr. King, Malcolm X, Fannie Lou Hamer, Fred Hampton, Ella Baker, Gloria Richardson, and other prominent leaders were not centrists. They were progressives and revolutionaries who fought for change in their daily lives. Stephen A. Smith promoted the argument that Jasmine Crockett is obsessed with Trump and not getting things done. Stephen A. Smith talks about using profanity, but Trump uses profanity constantly. It is not Jasmine Crockett's job to be a servant to Trump in the big house. Her job is to represent her constituents, speak truth to power, and fight for solutions. For the record, Jasmine Crocket has fought for solutions in Congress. The problem is that the three branches of government are dominated by MAGA Republicans. If some voters had voted the right way, then we wouldn't have this chaos in the first place. I find it rich for Stephen A. Smith to have more anger at a black woman and not a perverted tyrant who is a habitual liar. Stephen A. Smith loves his respectability politics nonsense as MAGA wants total control, not compromise. Smith needs to realize that compromise with MAGA is a blasphemy against truth. You have a fascist who made perverted comments about his own daughter, and Smith wants us to beg him to do something for us. Smith is out of line. People can multitask by exposing Trump and advocating for solutions in Congress simultaneously. That is what Jasmine Crockett has been doing. People have every God given right to criticize the policies of the Trump administration without apology.
