The Trump administration said on Tuesday that it wants to rescind the 2009 greenhouse gas endangerment finding that found that greenhouse gas emissions are a threat to public health and welfare. If this plan goes through, this rescission will end the authority of the Environmental Protection Agency or EPS to regulate greenhouse gases, especially carbon dioxide and methane, across transportation, power generation and other industrial sectors. It affects an estimated $1 trillion in existing regulations, while simultaneously dismantling the agency's scientific research capabilities. This comes after the International Court of Justice released a unanimous advisory opinion that climate change imperials all forms of life and the health of the Earth. It is no secret that the EPA's regulations are being attacked by the Trump administration, because Trump is the most anti-environment President in American history. Zeldin is the Republican supporter of Trump, and he was one of the 139 Republican House members who voted against confirming Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 federal election in the hours after Trump's attempted coup on January 6, 2021. Historically, the EPA has saved 230,000 lives in America and prevented 200,000 heart attacks from air pollution. Back in the 1960s, tons of people in Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, New York, and Detroit would go through days, weeks, and months having their cities covered in industrial smog. A lot of folks didn't know about this fact in this generation. That is why laws were made to enforce anti-pollution measures. So, we have to be clear to promote environmental regulations and real environmental justice.
The family of Virginia Giuffre urged Trump to not pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, because Maxwell has been complicit in the abuse of girls and women along with Epstein. People are questioning about Donald Trump's knowledge of the abuse. Trump has admitted that he kicked Epstein out of his club for hiring workers away from Mar-a-Lago. Trump admitted that the workers hired were young women. Trump said that Virginia was stolen from Mar-a-Lago by Epstein. Virginia Giuffre was one of them most victims of abuse done by James Epstein. Guiffre committed suicide recently. Maxwell wants to challenge her conviction to the Supreme Court. Maxwell had talked to federal agents for 2 days. Maxwell spoke to them in a U.S. Attorney's Office. There should be absolutely no pardon of Ghislaine Maxwell being involved in unspeakable abuse of people and is a proven liar. In 1994, Jeffrey Epstein brought a 14 year old girl to meet with Donald Trump. Virginia Guiffre spoke to CBS's Gayle King and said that Maxwell must be in prison for life. Guiffre wanted all monsters who abuse kids to held accountability and be sent to prison. Maxwell is so evil and sick that to this day, she said under oath that she committed no crime. Obviously, Maxwell is a liar. Maxwell groomed girls and abused girls and young women too. Trump supporters are divided on this issue. Some support Trump unconditionally, and some desire for the Epstein files to be released.
Universities, law firms, and new networks have capitulated to Trump by paying millions of dollars in order to submit the Trump agenda. This is not only against the freedom of speech. It is an attack on democracy. We have to realize that dissent with any President is part of our human rights. Once people lose dissent, it isn't a democratic nation but an authoritarian country. Another problem is that many may self censor themselves in the media. Now, the Trump administration has demonized immigrants, attacked black history shown on federal websites, and gone about to attack free speech in many overt plus slick ways. Trump has increased the assault on the rule of law on multiple fronts. Recently, a legal permanent resident researching cures for Lyme disease has been detained by immigration officials for over a week. He had reportedly been denied access to an attorney and his family has not been given a reason for his detention. Today, Medicaid and Medicare turn 60 years old today. These programs were signed into law by President Lyndon Baines Johnson. The cruel irony is that these programs are being attacked by Trump and Republicans when they have saved many lives for 60 years now. Texas House Republicans unveil new congressional map that looks to pick up five GOP seats. The irony is that the Texas GOP is already gerrymandered against African American and Latino American voters. As Corey Booker has said, Democrats need to fight against these policies, or our political representation can be completely ruined. Trump and the White House are now lobbying against a bill that ban politicians from stock trading. The administration reportedly opposed the legislation because it puts new bans on stock trading by the president and vice president.
There is a story of the black America labor leader Chris Smalls. There is the Freedom Flotilla Coalition announcement. Chris Smalls went to Givon Prison and requested to meet with the U.S. Embassy. It has been ignored by the Trump government after being abducted by the IDF in international waters. Smalls wanted to aid the Palestinian people in Gaza. According to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, Chris Smalls was surrounded, beat, and choked by the Israeli Defense Forces. Israel has a large blockade of Gaza. Smalls was the cofounder of the Amazon Labor Union, who fought for Amazon to embrace unionism. When Chris was surrounded by six members of Israel's special police unit, his lawyer met him. Smalls was the only black human being on the boat. He was one of the 21 members of the group who were detained. These people included medics, engineers, and journalists, Jacob Berger, a Jewish American actor said that Smalls is in great spirits after his detention. Many in the corporate media are silent on this story. The discrimination in Israel is real against Ethiopian Jewish people, Sephardim, and Mizrahi Jewish people.
