Democracy to be Protected.

There is a recent controversy. Trump accused many Democratic lawmakers of seditious actions because these Democratic lawmakers are encouraging military soldiers to disobey illegal orders. What these Democratic leaders are doing is not illegal, as all military officers are bounded under the Constitution and shouldn't follow illegal edicts. Trump went over the line and called what the Democrats did seditious and classified that actions as punishable by death. This rhetoric from Trump is not only inappropriate and immoral. It's a threat against the lives of Democratic leaders who reject the edicts of a tyrant who wants all people in America to bow down to his view. I bow down to no one but God. Trump called the Democrats who wanted the military personnel to follow the law to be arrested and put on trial. This is ironic from Trump, as Trump encouraged actual traitors who tried to overthrow the United States government on January 6th, 2021. This comes as a judge has halted Trump's National Guard deployment in Washington, D.C. Mike Johnson is a liar to say that these Democratic Congresspeople wanted soliders to disobey order. They said that they wanted soldiers to disoeby illegal and unconstitutional orders period. People have the right to express political dissent in America, irrespective of the words from Donald Trump. In other words, the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights gives us the right to express the freedom of speech and the right to petition our government of legitimate grievances.

Now, Trump has allowed ICE to run raids in Charlotte, North Carolina. More than 30,000 students across the country didn't report on school on Monday in one North Carolina school district. This is found in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County. ICE called their sick raids, "Operation Charlotte's Web." Local officials in North Carolina have condemned the ICE raids, in which the Department of Homeland Security said that they detained more than 200 people. ICE has move into Raleigh by Monday. North Carolina Governor Josh Stein has condemned the raids across North Carolina. ICE agents aren't targeting violent criminals alone. It is a lie to assume that ICE is just arresting violent criminals. They are targeting people in parking lots, in churches, in stores, and many U.S. citizens have been illegally detained too by ICE. Many black Americans have been questioned by ICE if they are from another country. Many Charlotte businesses have closed after federal agents came in one area. There are rumors that ICE might invade Hampton Roads, Virginia next.

Some breaking news is that the grand jury never saw the full Comey indictment. This is news that could allow Comey's case to be thrown out of court. The prosecutor in this case hasn't had extensive legal experience. This has been a total debacle and a Trump witch hunt against James Comey for political reasons. It has been a three-count indictment. The Department of Justice (DOJ) admitting that not all grand jury members saw the final version of the indictment against James Comey is a game-changer. Comey's lawyers want Judge Michael Nachmanoff to dismiss the case with prejudice, meaning that the case can't be brought for a second time. The judge criticized the DOJ for its handling of the case. Former FBI Director James Comey has been an overt critic of the Trump administration. Prosecutor Tyler Lemons admitted that a grand coordinator had "edited" the first indictment, which was signed by acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Lindsey Halligan. Lemons admitted that the 2nd indictment is a document that was never shown to the whole grand jury. A separate judge, Magistrate Judge William Fitzgerald, accused the DOJ of indicting first and investigating later approaching involving the Comey case. The prosecution made so many legal mistakes that this case could be thrown out.

The irony is that Trump now supports the Epstein law when he once fought to try to oppose it. The truth is impartial. If a Republican or Democrat were involved in abuse or similar crimes, that person should have a trial and go to prison. So, the new Epstein transparency law gives Trump 30 days to release all of the Epstein files to the public. Trump continues to target his political opponents. The Trump administration's Justice Department is investigating the handling of Adam Schiff's mortgage fraud probe. These actions are done because Trump wants to promote fear and hatred of progressives (and anyone of any political ideology who disagrees with Trump) in trying to increase his power of control. We know now that Epstein communicated with many people from Steve Bannon to Larry Summers. Summers had to leave the OpenAI board over the Epstein emails issue. Trump's threat to the lives of Democratic leaders who just want military leaders to not follow illegal orders shows Trump to be a fascist.

Bret Stephens of the New York Times wrote an editorial to support the overthrow of Maduro of Venezuela. I don't agree with a U.S. military invasion of Venezuela for many reasons. Bret supported the Iraq War (that started in 2003), even when we found out that Iraq had no massive weapons of mass destruction. Stephens supported the war in Gaza, even after Israeli forces did excessive actions that many international organizations classify as war crimes. Stephens is not the only neo-conservative supporting regime change in Venezuela. Many militarists and war hawks want to overthrow Maduro so America and the West can gain more control over Venezuela's oil and mineral resources. Venezuela is a very large South American nation filled with Native Americans and Afro-Venezuelan people too. Stephens and far right Machado want the privatization of massive resources in Venezuela to benefit select corporate interests.
