Flying Dutch on Economics in December '10

There are 2 million people thrown out of benefits, not longer counted as unemployed and i understood that another 2 million will add to this very soon. The only thing that still grows are derivatives and/ or spending.

The loss of these benefits are then translated as a decreasure of unemployment or a smaller loss of jobs...unemployment according to Us statistics are the most conservative methods of calculation, keeping it under 10%, while the reality is over 22% for the real old method back in 1980 ( before alteration for political reasons)

The Netherlands is one of a small group of rich countries where the poorest children suffer relatively little inequality, according to a new report by international children’s charity Unicef.

Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands are ranked the top three in terms of leading the way in promoting equality in children’s well-being and the Netherlands has the lowest level of inequality for health, the research found.

The Netherlands was eighth in the educational equality ranking.

The report studied 24 OECD countries and the researchers point out much of the data is pre-economic crisis.

Greece, Italy and the United States performed worst overall.
