So, I must be a part of the "he-man women haters club" by one song. I don't think so. I think that song reflects a half truth. A man should be a soldier in standing up for himself and being strong. Yet, the song is wrong in saying that black men ought to be from the streets and act in a monolithic stereotypically hyper masculine fashion in order for him to be a real man. Now, the vast majority of sisters want a real man not a superthug. Also, the executions of Sean Bell & Trayvon Martin (plus other brothers and sisters), imperialism, the prison industrial complex, the harm in Haiti by Western supremacists, propaganda TV & media shows, the war on terror, anti-civil liberty laws, Uncle Tom propaganda, self hatred propaganda, and other evils are far worse than a song presented by three beautiful sisters. See, it's always checkmate with me brother. I checkmate and game over.

You described a hypothetical argument. Did you know that Plies was a valedictorian from high school. So, many of these entertainers aren't what they seem. I don't know the percentage since I don't judge men in that way. Yet, I know non-black women that are materialistic, and disrespectful. As for Plies and Wayne Brady (who doesn't disrespect black women all of the time [except for that Dave Chapelle skit, which I don't agree with at all] unlike the some of the so-called "militant" brothers), we are still in the same situation. It's not the sisters' fault, but the system.
If we want changes, we have to fight the system and promote reconciliation and solutions among black men and black women.
-------------------------------
If people say that you have to be a baller or portray yourself as a thug to go out with a black woman, why do I see average Joes (who aren't thugs nor ballers) marrying and going out with black women all of the time? So, this stuff is a distraction. The real issue is that both black men and black women suffer from the same evil corporate system. We should unite as a team to fight against the real enemy (not each other). Also, no white woman is superior to a black woman period in no fashion.
With black women? Where I am from, white woman can act mean spirited and say disrespectful stuff behind your back. With black women, they are more honest. They tell you how they feel and keep it 100. I rather deal with a woman that keeps it real then smiling in your face and guessing if this person is authentic. Also, I meet numerous tolerant, down to earth black woman.

Tell that to my parents being married for almost 4 decades. Black unity and black love is still here and they are far from dead. You just want it to die. I don't. Black love is found in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and throughout the world.

Your parents as well as mine are the exception and unlike you who has a politically correct agenda, I call things for what they are therefore you have nothing to say to me private.

You have a defeatist and politically destructive agenda. I have a inspirational and happy agenda. I'm not politically correct. You just want us brothers to reject sisters and stereotype most black women into some monolithic box. That isn't going to happen. I don't deny issues, but you ignore real black women that are tolerant, successful, and treat nice brothers with respect. Are you intimidated by strong black women? That's the question. There is nothing wrong with a black woman keeping it real and being honest. I rather go out with a black woman that's honest, fair, and strong than some robot or doormat acting like some mental slave to me. Now, our parents represent more than an exception. They represent the fact of life (of millions of black couples in the world today. That proves that Black Love is still strong in the world). The future will be better when more solutions come about not female bashing or fear mongering.
