Stand on Your Principles.

NBC's Meet the Press host Kristen Welker interviewed Trump recently. Trump told her that he doesn't know if he ought to uphold the Constitution. Such rhetoric from Trump is plainly evil. He said that he doesn't know if all people in America are entitled to due process of law. The reality is that all people in American soil are entitled to due process of law, without exception. We have America led by a tyrant and a political criminal who believes that democratic rights can be taken away by his whim. The Bill of Rights or the first 10 Amendments of the Constitution, grants individual rights that the government can't take away. We have unalienable rights that are given to us by birth. These rights are natural and can never be taken from us Americans like the freedom of religion, the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, the freedom of press, etc. In 2019, Trump said that he can do whatever he wants as President. He's liar as no man on this Earth is above moral and political law. In the end, the fascists will not prevail, and truth will be established forever and ever.

U.S. ports are starting to see the impact of the Trump tariffs. This means that supplies can be more expensive, there may be shortages in supplies in America, etc. It will be a tough time in the near future. Trump caused this reality to take place. Still, we have to prepare and have faith in the future. This is a time of preparation and realizing that life is fragile. We are all in this together as Americans and as human beings. The Trump high levels of tariffs threatens a new recession in America. That is why there must be an end to these high tariffs. We need international trade to be fair, but we don't need excessive tariffs that make it more difficult for American families to eat food or to buy supplies for their everyday life. Also, workers in America and workers worldwide deserve respect, dignity, and their lives to be respected without xenophobic economic nationalist nonsense. Some rare, good news is that a federal judge rejected Republican efforts to throw out thousands of votes cast in the North Carolina Supreme Court race. This comes after two recounts confirmed GOP candidate Jefferson Griffin lost to Democrat Allison Riggs by 734 votes. This is rare good news for democracy.

In Australia, the Liberal Party lost at the 2025 election, with Dutton losing his seat of Dickson in Brisbane. The Liberal Party is heavily conservative in their political views. This party also has a great internal diversity in views. This party is anti-labor, anti-socialist, and supports individual freedom and private enterprise. Robert Menzies wants Australia's middle class to form its main constituency. Menzies is a constitutional monarchist too. Peter Dutton is part of the National Right faction of the Liberal Party. That means that Dutton is more conservative than even Menzies. He follows similar views to Donald Trump. This is a reflection of the Maga movement overseas. Dutton is racist for opposing flying the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags alongside the national flag. Dutton opposes the ALP's climate policy, the Paris Agreement, and COP 31. Still, there are tons of Australians who are not bigots but want freedom and justice for all people. I live in the Northern Hemisphere and Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere. Australia is filled with tons of culture, cities, farms, and other cultural greatness. Also, the Aboriginal people, being the first people in Australia, have suffered oppression and other forms on injustice, but they still rise to continue to live and to advance their own legacies as human beings.

There are still legends fighting for voting rights now in 2025. They stand on the shoulders of activists like Ida B. Wells, Fannie Lou Hamer, Dr. King, Medgar Evers, and Septima Clark. Today, you have LaTosha Brown, a co-founder of Black Voters Matters. Brown and her organization has been successful in mobilizing the people in growing the power on voting rights issues and other social justice issues that deal with the black community. Voting just deals with the Presidential elections. Voting deals with the local school boards, judges on every level of government, the census, various referendum plans, and other aspects of our social living. Voting matters for real. Brown led movements that increased black voter turnout in Alabama and ultimately played a significant role in the 2017 Alabama Senate race. Melanie Campbell is the founder of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation. Campbell is a strong civil rights advocate. She was awarded by the National Urban League's Women of Power Awards. She has promoted power and activism in various oppressed communities. Ayo Atterberry, Celina Stewart, Stacey Abrams, Dr. Deborah Ann Turner, and other human beings now are doing tons of work in defending our voting rights. They should be honored for their civic contributions.

Trump said that he doesn't know if he is required to uphold the U.S. Constitution. His words constitute not only disrespect and ignorance of the law. It represents treason. Any President is obligated to honor the rules and the laws of the U.S. Constitution plus to defend and protect it. The irony is that many MAGA supporters will try to justify Trump's comments. In actuality, there is no justification at all for Trump's comments on the Constitution. This is one of the most disgraceful comments that Trump has made.  Trump is trying to strife free speech involving universities constantly. He is attacking the press and trying to restrict the press in covering issues in the White House. He is kidnapping U.S. residents and some U.S. citizens and sending them to foreign prisons without due process of law. These are some of the examples of Trump's fascism. Trump has no respect for the rule of law which is why he was convicted of many felonies, and he has no respect for the U.S. Constitution. We are against tyrants and monarchs ruling America. We must oppose tyranny in any of its manifestations.
