I was behind the voter ID thing at first - before I understood the impact it has on so many people. Here in Wisconsin you can now get an ID from the DMV for free because of this law but that's the easy part. What if you don't know where you were born? YOU CANNOT GET A BIRTH CERTIFICATE. There are lists and lists of examples of instances where people are unable to register to vote because of this law and that's not acceptable to me! If people are so worried about voter fraud they need to look into the companies that make the voting machines and the people who do the hand counts at a local level - the fraud is more likely to be committed at those levels because they would be able to make a larger impact. smh
