Information about Our Lives.

The Supreme Court made the bad decision to expand the Homeland Security database to possibly purge voter rolls as the midterm 2026 elections are coming up. This happened on September 25, 2026. This database has information on citizens and noncitizens. The March 2025 Trump executive order wants to purge state voter rolls. This is illegal and immoral, as the truth is that only state and local governments have the power to control election services. The Supreme Court is dominated by a far-right majority. The 1935 Social Security Act and the Privacy Act of 1974 were created to ban formal or de facto databanks or centralized federal information systems built from sensitive personal data. The head of the Department of Homeland Security is Markwayne Mullin. There is no massive voter fraud, and it is against federal law for non-citizens to vote. Yet, Trump wants to expand the SAVE program, or Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlement. Trump has expanded SAVE to include natural-born citizens' records, access Social Security Administration Information, and allow state plus local officials to have bulk searches, rather than only individual checks. The problem is that citizens can be purged by the changing Social Security records. Trump is doing this voter suppression plan because his popularity is at record lows, the Iranian war is very unpopular, and he desires an authoritarian system in American society. We have to fight for our rights.

The new A Different World Series just recently took place. It is a show with many of the previous A Different World actors and actresses, like Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Aja Sanders, Karen Malina White, Jenifer Lewis, Dawnn Lewis, Glynn Turman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Cree Summer, Darryl M. Bell, and other people. This show has a new generation of mostly Generation Z actors and actresses like Maleah Joi Moon, Alijah Kai, Cornell Young IV, Jordan Aaron Hall, Kennedi Reece, Chibuikem Uche, and Elijah J. Roberts. The new show was shown on Netflix for the first on September 24, 2026. The first season has 10 episodes filled with discussions of cultural issues, romance, marriage issues, and Brandy performing the theme song of the show. The show relates to both the younger and older generations. The original A Different World were made up of young Baby Boomers and older Generation X members. We, who are older Millennials, saw A Different World when we were in elementary school and on syndication when we were in middle and high school. The new A Different World is filled with a younger generation who wants to establish their own legacies as black people. HBCU culture is one of the foundations of Black Excellence. We have either been to an HBCU as a student, know someone who was educated at an HBCU, researched information about an HBCU, or visited one.

A U.S. ambassador said Trump offered to sell China American arms. Chinese Premier Xi has the upper hand, because Trump is naive enough to try to praise Xi and offer him goods when Xi wants nothing more than global hegemony. Many MAGA bigots make no distinction between most Chinese people who want freedom and justice and the authoritarian regime of Xi. Many phony "progressives" praise all things in the CCP while they omit Xi's massive censorship of the Internet, oppression against the mostly Uyghur people, and their suppression of democratic freedoms in many circumstances. China provides intelligence to Iran, causing Iran to kill American soldiers. Xi is an ally of Putin, who is a murderous war criminal harming the Ukrainian people. Xi is an authoritarian, but he is a very smart person who is playing Trump like a fiddle. Arms sales are part of foreign policy and have consequences for America and its allies. History and life experience document that decades of private equity, hedge funds, asset stripping, speculation, derivatives, crypto, cartels, and oligopolies with falling standards of living won't work. We need investments, industrialization in the right way (with enviornmental protections and labor rights maintained), living wages, universal health care, fair treatment, equality, and justice to make a true path towards human liberation.

Jack Smith gave his testimony to Congress about his past criminal prosecutions of Trump. He spoke before the Senate Judiciary Committee. He spoke about the necessity of his actions and promoting the rule of law. He talked about the men and women who worked for him in sacrificing their time to research the facts. The Republicans were openly hostile to Smith, because they have more of a concern to defend a fascist in the White House than truth and justice. The lie from Trump is that Jack Smith promoted a vindictive vendetta against Trump. The reality is that Trump agitated the January 6th terrorist attack that harmed people and nearly overthrew the American government back in 2021. Jack Smith testified under oath while he was in Capitol Hill. Smith said that the Trump led Justice Department's decision to fire members of his staff as illegal. Republican Schmitt falsely accused Smith of something and Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota refuted Schmitt. Therefore, Jack Smith did his duty and responded to his critics with conviction.

One great point is that we should be consistent. No one has to reinvent the wheel, but there are certain things that people should do to improve their minds and health. Health relates to the cells too. The mitochondria in the cell help to produce energy and convert food into cellular energy that helps powers the body. Large corporations (which includes tobacco companies) fund ultra processed foods and other things for profit, not for the benefit of human beings collectively. We know that the radiation, ultra processed foods, chronic sitting, poor sleep, and massive stress damages mitochondria which increase the risks of illnesses and diseases. Now, about 50 percent of American adults have pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes. This was unheard of decades ago. Lawsuits from people accusing Ozempic products of causing blindness should tell us that health growth never relies on cutting corners. It has to be done by consistent hard work without quitting. That is why constant walking for life, resistance training, cardio, sprinting, eating whole quality foods, reading, getting occupied in your hobbies, developing social connections with fellow human beings, getting that sunlight, and having quality sleep will make a difference. Even walking 10 minutes after eating food can lower blood glucose responses. Walking all the time every day stabilizes glucose levels along with exercise. People have to get their biomarkers checked out, like fasting glucose, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and HbA1c. Slowing down the aging process is about maintaining our telomeres. Folks should never give up. Ernestine Shepherd is in her 80s, in incredible shape who started her health routine journey in her 50s. That should tell everyone that God is merciful to allow us to get that sacrosanct wisdom to improve ourselves.

Wisdom and Truth.

It always sounds cliche all of the time, but we have the most important midterms of our lifetimes. We have witnessed clearly an overt clash between fascism (or authoritarianism) and democracy in our society. For example, the bigots of the Afd party and the MAGA movement are far-right extremists who abhor cultural diversity and abhor progressive values in general. Numerous political campaigns have existed from Alaska to Texas (with the race between Talarico and Paxton). We have seen the commercials, the debates, and the political polarization in America. Independent voters are growing in America, as I believe most Americans share both liberal and conservative issues and are not exclusively conservative or exclusively liberal. In our modern-day political lexicon, we know about the terms of gerrymandering, mail in voting, the controversial DSA movement, and the growth of the opposition to the economic affordability crisis. Also, we exist in a generation when more Westerners (not just those who live in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East) support Palestinian human rights today than in any other time in human history. Anti-Semitism is a notorious evil that is in epidemic levels in the world too (as found in vandalization of Jewish synagogues, murder of Jewish people, etc.) that must be eradicated. It is important to note that opposing the policies of the pro-MAGA, far right Netanyahu regime in Israel and supporting the human rights of Palestinian people are never akin to anti-Semitism. When people, among across the political spectrum, oppose the illegal, unconstitutional Iranian War, desire to have lower inflation, want more affordability (involving housing, healthcare, groceries, oil prices, etc.), then we have a problem in America that must be addressed or rectified. The Trump administration's extremism, bigotry, xenophobia, sexism, racism, and narcissism document how evil exists in the Universe, and we must use all progressive, legitimate means to combat this evil by all legitimate, peaceful means necessary.

Genius is found in the late, great Chadwick Boseman's makeup. He lived a life filled with excellence, promise, and compassion. He formed friends for life when he encountered the actors and actresses of the film Black Panther, like Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya, Forest Whitaker, Ryan Coogler, etc. He had massive strength. His life story proved that strength is never about brutality or reckless actions. Truthfully, strength is about a silent confidence and doing diligent, consistent action to help others. He gave a voice to tons of men, especially black men in outlining that message that you must get tested for diseases like colon cancer, prostate cancer, etc. Cancer and other diseases are killing so many men and women at such young ages unfortunately at many circumstances. Boseman was an expert actor who worked in plays constantly. He mastered the art of showing biographical stories via film. He portrayed numerous black icons like Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and the Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. He had great mentors like Denzel Washington, who funded Boseman's trip to the British American Drama Academy Summer program in 1998. His other mentors are Phylicia Rashad (she was a mentor to him at Harvard, driving him home from plays, and she pushed for his artistic growth), Howard University professor Mike Malone, and Wayne A. I. Frederick. Chadwick Boseman was one of the greatest actors of the 21st century whose gift always motivated us to be our best selves prodigiously.

Chadwick Boseman was born on November 29, 1976, in Anderson, South Carolina. He grew up in Anderson too. His mother, Carolyn, was a nurse. His father, Leroy, worked at a textile factory and managed an upholstery business. During his youth, Boseman studied martial arts and continued his training as an adult. He wanted to be an architect when he was a child. According to Boseman, his DNA testing indicated that some of his ancestors were the Jola people from Guinea-Bissau, Krio people, and Limba people (from Sierra Leone and Yoruba people from Nigeria). Boseman graduated from T. L. Hanna High School in 1995, where he played on the basketball team. In his junior year, he wrote his first play, Crossroads, and staged it at the school after a classmate was shot and killed. He competed in Speech and Debate in the National Speech and Debate Association at T. L. Hanna. He placed eighth in Original Oratory at the 1995 National Tournament. He was recruited to play basketball at college but chose the arts instead, attending college at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing. While at Howard, he worked in an African American–oriented bookstore near the university, which friend Vanessa German said was important and inspirational to him; he drew on his experience there for his play Hieroglyphic Graffiti.

His teachers at Howard included Al Freeman Jr. and Phylicia Rashad, who became a mentor. Rashad helped raise funds, notably from her friend and prominent actor Denzel Washington, so that Boseman and other classmates could attend the Oxford Summer Program of the British American Drama Academy at Balliol College, Oxford, in England, to which they had been accepted. Boseman wanted to write and direct, and initially began studying acting to learn how to relate to actors. He attended the program in 1998, and he developed an appreciation for the playwriting of William Shakespeare; additionally, he studied the works of various dramatists, including Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter. He also traveled to Africa for the first time while at college, working in Ghana with his professor Mike Malone "to preserve and celebrate rituals with performances on a proscenium stage"; he said it was "one of the most significant learning experiences of [his] life." After he returned to the U.S., he took additional course work in film studies, graduating from New York City's Digital Film Academy. Boseman lived in Brooklyn, New York City, at the start of his career. In 2000, he was named a Drama League Directing Fellow. He directed productions including George C. Wolfe's The Colored Museum (Wolfe would later direct Boseman in his final role) and a staging of Amiri Baraka's Dutchman. He worked as the drama instructor in the Schomburg Junior Scholars Program, housed at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem between 2002 and 2009.

He rose to prominence as a playwright and stage actor in 2002, performing in multiple productions and winning an AUDELCO award in 2002 for his part in Ron Milner's Urban Transitions. As a member of the National Shakespeare Company of New York, he played Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Malcolm in Macbeth. He directed and wrote plays  as part of the Hip-hop theater movement; his works included Rhyme Deferred (co-written with Howard classmate Kamilah Forbes), in which he also performed, and Hieroglyphic Graffiti. Rhyme Deferred was commissioned for a national tour, as well as featuring in The Fire This Time anthology of works, while Hieroglyphic Graffiti was produced at a variety of locations, including the National Black Theatre Festival in 2001. Combining modern African-American culture and Egyptian deities, it is set in Washington, D.C., and was picked up by the New York Hip-Hop Theatre Festival and Tennessee State University's summer stock theatre program in 2002. It was also the Kuntu Repertory Theatre's 2002–03 season launch production. At the 2002 Hip-Hop Theatre Festival, Boseman also gave a one-man show called "Red Clay and Carved Concrete."

In 2003, Boseman was cast in his first television role, an episode of Third Watch, and began playing Reggie Montgomery in the daytime soap opera All My Children. He was fired from All My Children after voicing concerns to producers about racist stereotypes in the script; the role was subsequently re-cast, with Boseman's future Black Panther co-star Michael B. Jordan taking the part. Boseman had wanted to work around the stereotypes of the character, feeling that being in a soap opera would give him more room for improvisation as the writers often do not initially plan a full story; his (then-future) agent said that when Boseman was given the second script and learned that his character's parents were a drug addict and an absent father, Boseman confronted the creators. He reflected on the experience in his 2018 commencement address to Howard University, saying that it "seemed to be wrapped up in assumptions about us as black folks [and he] would have to make something out of nothing." His other early television work included episodes of the series Law & Order, Cold Case, CSI: NY, and ER.

Boseman's best-known play, Deep Azure, was commissioned in 2004 by the Congo Square Theatre Company in Chicago. It was nominated for a 2006 Jeff Award for Best New Work. Boseman said at the time that Deep Azure was "a fusion and progression of [his] previous plays", which he did not feel fit wholly in the Hip Hop theater genre. The play – about police brutality, a daring subject in 2004, and largely delivered in rhyme – was workshopped at the Apollo Theater in New York. Drama critic Chris Jones in the Chicago Tribune highly praised the work. In 2008, Boseman turned Deep Azure into a screenplay. Michael Greene, who would become his agent, picked it up and contacted Boseman when Tessa Thompson and Omari Hardwick expressed an interest in playing the lead roles, prompting Boseman's move to Los Angeles. He also directed, wrote, and produced the short film Blood Over a Broken Pawn in 2007, which was honored at the 2008 Hollywood Black Film Festival.

Golf is one of the most unique sports in human history. It relies on patience, finesse, and a sense of geography, because golf exists in some of the most diverse terrain in history. Parks and golf locations showcase all manner of situations involving the sport of golf. Most sports exist on flat surfaces like track and field, football, baseball, hockey, tennis, soccer, rugby, and volleyball. Golf can conversely exist on areas of hills, flat locations, near lakes or ponds, and even on higher elevated locations. That is why people in general to determine the best golf clubs and swinging methods to deal with golf games or golf tournaments. In gold, a player must achieve their goals completely to win the game in the least number of strokes possible. Golf legends exist among every color, nationality, and background. Their names are Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Althea Gibson, Renee Powell, Mariah Stackhouse, Sadena Parks, La'Ree Sugg, Shasta Averyhardt, Cheyenne Woods, Giner Gould, Nelly Korda, Jeeno Thitikul, Annika Sorenstam, Patty Berg, etc.

It has been now over one century since the advent of the news channel of NBC. It has been a staple of news, sports, entertainment, and other forms of information geared to inform the general population. I love NBC's coverage of the Olympic Games, like the recent 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris (being one of the most successful Olympics for American victories) and the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Italy. The coverage didn't just show the sporting events. It outlined summaries of the stories, emotions, and mentalities of the athletes who participated in such athletic endeavors. NBC works as a family even among competing franchises like CNN, MS NOW, ABC, etc. In our time, the Trump regime abhors press freedom so much that dissents with him, that Trump once banned CNN, MS Now, and Politico from having access to the White House. Recently, Trump has been petty to ban certain news outlets on certain locations. These actions are so fragrantly anti-free speech and anti-press freedom, that even FOX News condemned Trump's anti-press measures. There were iconic hosts on the Today Show like Barbara Walters, Hoda Kotb, Deborah Norville, Bryant Gumbel, Katie Couric, Tom Brokaw, Jane Pauley, etc. NBC has SNL, Meet the Press with Kristen Welker, and local affiliates like WAVY TV-10 (that I watch on a regular basis) in Hampton Roads, Virginia (or the 757). Then and now, NBC had shown television shows like Cheers, Seinfeld, A Different World, The Cosby show, The West Wing, ER, Law and Order, and Friday Night Lights.

Jackie Joyner Kersee has been a social activist for decades. The Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation was created in 1988 in her hometown of East St. Louis, Illinois, to empower the youth and families. The JJK Center is a multi-purpose facility that was created by her to provide safe spaces, after-school programming, athletics, and academic support. She has promoted K-12 development, youth entrepreneurship, and JJK Food, Agriculture, and Nutrition Innovation Center (JJK FAN) to address food access. She partnered with many technology initiatives like Comcast's Internet Essentials to bring high-speed internet to low-income families to promote children's education and digital equity. She has spoken out in favor of civil rights, racial equality, and systemic reform. Jackie Joyner-Kersee promoted Title IX and equal opportunities, funding, and facility access for women athletes. She had severe asthma back then, and she actively campaigns for health education and youth wellness.

Since 1981, the Jesse Owens Award has been given by USATF (and before its renaming, TAC) to the United States' track and field athlete of the year. In 1996, the award was split to be given to the top athlete of each gender. In 2005, Jackie Joyner-Kersee was inducted as a Laureate of The Lincoln Academy of Illinois and awarded the Order of Lincoln (the State's highest honor) by the Governor of Illinois in the area of Sports. In 2010, she was a NCAA Silver Anniversary Awards honoree. In 2011, she received the Dick Enberg Award, College Sports Information Director of America (CoSIDA). By 2021, she received the Webster University Doctor of Humane Letters.  In 2013, the female award was renamed the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Award. In March 2023, she was inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame.

Jackie Joyner Kersee was a great mentor to many athletes. She has mentored the modern-day heptathlete Anna Hall. She calls and texts her with advice, encouragement, and technical mindset tips. Anna Hall was born in the Mountain West in Denver, Colorado on March 23, 2001. She is now 25 years old. She has done the heptathlon, the pentathlon, the 400m, the 400m hurdles, the 800m and the high jump. She was involved in the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs. She worked hard to win bronze in the heptathlon at the 2022 World Championships in Eugene, Oregon, silver in the same sport in the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, and in the same event at the 2025 Tokyo World Championships with winning gold. She won silver in the World Indoor Championships in the pentathlon in 2026 at Torun, Poland. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration in December 2023. Anna Hall is married to New York Giants player Darius Slayton since April 11, 2026. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone was coached by the husband of Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Bob Kersee. The torch has been passed from Jackie Joyner-Kersee to many younger Americans and people of many other nationalities to bring the sport of track and field into the 21st century and beyond.

Judge Judy's recent comments are not only wrong but hypocritical. She said that people who want to fundamentally change America should go somewhere else. Using her logic, abolitionists who wanted to fundamentally change America to ban slavery legally should stop doing it. Using her logic, people in the Civil Rights Movement who wanted to fundamentally change America to pass civil rights plus voting rights laws should quit. America was built by 3 groups of people. It was built by us black Americans, by immigrants (and their descendants centuries ago and now), and by the indigenous people. Without us black people, America would never be what it is with its diversity, culture, and excellence. People have the right to disagree with many policies of America as critiquing America is part of the First Amendment via the freedom of speech. People have the right to live in America plus love or not like America. True Patriotism is about improving America not having a hive mind to unconditionally support all things in America. Also, she praises the capitalist system, but we don't live in a completely capitalist society. We live basically in a country of America with a mixed economy. Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, etc. are government created nearly socialist programs. Capitalism, socialism, and communism aren't infallible. For example, when people were starving to death during the Great Depression decades ago, people protested not seeking laissez faire capitalism to handle issues. They wanted a New Deal that expanded the government massively to save human lives literally. Therefore, what works best is a nation with the government having power to provide services and the public sector plus the private sector having legitimate regulations to make sure that we have clean air, clean water, healthcare rights, and human rights in general.

Friday Updates nearing the end of September 2026.

We have so much historical news. The court ordered the Trump administration to allow journalists from MS Now, Politico, and CNN on White House grounds to report on the news. The First Amendment is rather clear that there is freedom of speech and the freedom of the press shall not be abridged. Trump is hosting China's leader Xi in dealing with trade, A.I. issues, wars overseas, and other domestic plus foreign policy matters. The Navy disclosed that there were 8 suicide attempts tied to the USS Lincoln. We know that the sailors experienced lack of food and other supplies, which has been expressed by the sailors' families for a while. Hegseth weeks ago tried to downplay the suffering of the soldiers in the USS Lincoln. Benjamin Netanyahu gave his speech at the United Nations. He tried to defend his actions involving the war in Gaza and his foreign policy agenda in general. No matter how many passionate prose he may use, there is absolutely no justification for how the Palestinian people are treated in Gaza and the West Bank. We have independent studies (done not just by the U.N. but by human rights organizations) that document the suffering and war crimes inflicted on Palestinians and many Israelis (who were victims of Hamas' terror, rape, and kidnappings). Therefore, Netanyahu being in support of MAGA, being in support of Trump, and desiring a status quo system where no Palestinian state exists represent hypocrisy and a nefarious agenda.

You won't see me supporting Hasan Piker no matter what, despite him being right on some issues. Here are reasons why. He praised hte murderer Luigi Mangione, who killed the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson. We should have universal healthcare in America plus globally, along with opposing the corruption found in the corporate health care industry. Yet, it is wrong to use murder as a means to do it, as murder is always immoral no matter who does it. I agree with Piker that Netanyahu committed genocide against the Palestinian people. Yet, he called the reality of Hamas raping Israelis "rape fantasies" and "rape hallucinations." Then, he had to backtrack his illogical anti-woman statements. Pike said that he would vote for Hamas over Israel. Hamas is a terrorist organization. Then, he said that he wants a dictatorship of the proletariat when we should have no dictatorship of any kind. He has downplayed the Uyghur concentration camps in China, and he praised Mao Zedong as one of the great leaders of this world. In reality, Mao was a Stalinist murderer who murdered over 60 million of his own Chinese people. Piker embraces a form of campism (or supporting any regime opposed to the West even if that regime is authoritarian). He is related to Cenk Uygur, who once supported Armenian genocide denial until 2016. Uygur opposed the unionization of the TYT staff. In 2016, Uygur defended the Harvard University men's soccer team ranking women students on their sexual appeal on a 1 to 10 scale, which is an overt example of sexism. So, we are consistent in opposing MAGA and these people claiming to be "progressive" but having authoritarian tendencies. Yes, Hasan Piker is the same person who said that America deserved 9/11 (then he backtracked again), which is a sick, wicked comment by him, period. Piker wants Chinese-style communism or Cultural Revolution-type stuff in the Democratic Party. That will never happen as long as I live. We believe in democracy, not the views of Stalin (who was a murderer and anti-Semite) or Mao.

China is indeed supplying jet engines for Russian drones that target civilian trains and apartment buildings. Recently, Russia has seized the assets of Nestle and French firms Auchan and Lorory Merlin. This came from a decree issued by Vladimir Putin. This comes in response to the Western sanctions against Moscow over the Ukraine conflict. Recently, hockey player Alexander Ovechkin appeared in a campaign video for Putin's "United Russia" Party. This is a disgrace, where a dictator Putin is being glorified. Kushner is naive to blame Ukraine for giving Putin what he wants. Putin wants nothing more than Eastern Europe and possibly more areas. Ukraine is a victim of an illegal, immoral Russian invasion period.

Trump's threat to annihilate Iran shows the world why his popularity in America is declining. Even some GOP members are distancing themselves from Trump's Iranian war. Some of them have publicly called for an end to the Iran war. That war is completely unjust, as it was a preemptive strike against its lands without just cause, without Congressional approval, and without a solid moral reason. Trump said these words at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. He is deciding on whether to destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran or not. Such rhetoric is very similar to Hitler's rhetoric when he waged a Vernichtungskampf, or a war of annihilation, against the Soviet Union. Trump just announces his plans of extermination in public. Hitler gave his plans in private to his generals on March 30, 1941. Trump and Netanyahu executed this war against Iran, causing both Iranian civilians and American soldiers to die needlessly. Trump's criminal war of aggression against Iran has killed at least 3,468 people and wounded more than 26,5000 people by June 10, according to Iran's Health Ministry. A U.N. fact-finding mission found reasonable grounds to believe that America committed war crimes, such as the U.S. missile strike on February 28, 2026, when an elementary school in Minah was destroyed (killing more than 150 people, 120 of them being children). Gaza's Health Ministry found that 73,919 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. Trump wants to control Venezuelan oil, called Cuba a failed state, and wants Greenland to be controlled by America.

There are many economic news. In July 2026, Trump has reported making 1,100+ trades, including AI companies, defense contractors, and Big Oil (which are all in support of the White House policy). Seattle just became the first city in America to ban grocery stores from engaging in surveillance pricing. This is a major victory for consumers against companies that abuse their personal data to rip them off. Surveillance pricing is about a consumer buying something like TV and someone else buying that TV for a lower price (when you shop online. Many corporations use this personal data as a way to charge people different rates for the same product. That is completely unfair). Former FTC Chair Lina Khan talked about this issue very well. Stopping surveillance pricing is a necessity as this policy can violate the power of our personal information. Some states have introduced bills to ban surveillance pricing like in California, Georgia, etc. People can protect their private data by ending cookies, cleaning search history, and getting a VPN. People have the right to know about how their personal data is being used.

Changing Times.

Trump desires to promote Trump TV to promote his propaganda. Trump also said that he desires CNN to not be at the United Nations to report on the news. That shows to the world that he harbors hatred of dissent of his administration's policies and his hostility towards the press in general. This is so bad that some Republicans are eliminating the name of Trump from their campaign websites in order to salvage their campaigns. The 2026 midterms are coming up very soon. The Republicans' great big bill has promoted the tax cuts to the super rich and cuts benefits from the poor and working class. We know that Republicans make the largest cuts from health care in American history. This bill allows the Affordable Care Act subsidies to expire, which will cause premiums to possibly double. Hospitals will then face huge financial losses, causing health care costs to increase massively. There are cuts to food stamps. Trump cut SNAP with the biggest cuts in history, and a growing number of Americans go hungry with food banks struggling to supply people to get food. That is why now the Southeastern Virginia Food Bank is struggling to get more food supplies, and they are asking for people to give them more food via groceries, etc. Farms can suffer too. Energy costs go up, and Trump has cut alternative, renewable energy resources. Trump is the worst President of the 21st century and the top five worst Presidents in American history in my opinion.

Lithuania's main airport is closed due to a drone threat. This is Vilnius Airport. It is no secret that Putin not only wants to conquer Ukraine, but Eastern Europe in general. We now know that Poland has issued an alert in the country's eastern part, as Polish military aircraft have taken to the skies. The reason is that Russian drones have gone into Polish airspace for months now. NATO fighter jets have been scrambled over Latvia. The United Kingdom prepared its households for major disruption as Poland warned of possible Russian strikes. If a peaceful resolution is not reached, we have a high probability of WWIII before the year 2040. This is no hyperbole. This is reality. Russia demanded Japan remove U.S. Typhon missile systems deployed on Kyushu, despite plans to store them with the U.S. military in Japan after September exercises.

Now, MS Now, CNN, and Politico have sued the Trump administration over the Trump regime banning all three of the media organizations from being at the White House. Donald Trump has underestimated democracy. In a true democracy, people are free to disagree with him, and the media has the right to ask him and any President (regardless of party affiliation) tough, uncomfortable questions about policy and strategy. This is about the freedom of the press being maintained in American society. No one should strip the media of the power to do their jobs of reporting the news, analyzing information, and asking political leaders relevant questions about many issues. Many lawmakers have opposed Trump's media ban, like Senator Corey Booker, and other people like Rep. Beatty. The First Amendment says that freedom of speech and freedom of the press can't be banned or totally restricted. Trump doesn't want the press that disagrees with him inside of the White House, which shows Trump's disdain for the press. Obama is right to say that it would be unimaginable if he were to ban FOX News on the White House grounds. The major U.S. networks, including ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and FOX News, even suspended all coverage of President Trump's public events in protest of the White House revoking press credentials for certain media outlets.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign for El-Sayed in Michigan. Harris has shown massive class, as many of the Uncommitted voters refused to support Harris in 2024 over the Gaza conflict when Harris publicly condemned the brutal murder of Palestinians in Gaza. These same Uncommitted hypocrites are trying to gain us black people's support. The Uncommitted crowd contributed to the existence of Trump's 2nd Presidential term. Yet, Kamala Harris has shown incredible grace in trying to cause El-Sayed to defeat Mike Rogers. Mike Rogers refused to even debate El-Sayed, which showed Rogers' insecurities about his views and his allegiance to the MAGA cultic movement. We shall see what will happen in Michigan. It is no secret about the elephant in the room. There has been tensions among some members of the black community and some members of the Arabic community for years in Michigan. That tension will take years to heal, but we have to follow the Golden Rule and not embrace bigotry or discrimination. We have to do what is right, and advocate for black liberation at the same time.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani met with Trump on Monday afternoon. This took place at Gracie Mansion, the mayor's official residence. They had a meeting for an hour behind closed doors. The two walked out together to a podium on the lawn. This comes when Trump has record-low approval ratings. Mamdani is playing coy with Trump insisting that he talked to Trump about improving the lives of New Yorkers and how to use the power of government to take on the cost of living crisis. This is silliness. Trump launched a criminal, illegal war in Iran that has driven gasoline rates up 27 percent in a year. Trump's budget law has caused thousands of residents to be stripped of their SNAP benefits. About 1.5 million people in New York state are stripped of their Medicaid coverage because of the big Trump law. Mamadani said to promote an agreement to create a conversation between City Hall and the White House on building over Sunnyside Yard in Queens. This housing plan will be funded by private developers. Trump wants to promote sanctions against the International Criminal Court (trying to force the ICC to drop its arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu when it is plainly obvious that Netanyahu committed war crimes against the Palestinians as documented by independent researchers). Mamdani said that he didn't encourage New Yorkers to protest Netanyahu's planned visit to the UN General Assembly on Thursday. The reality here is that we can't whitewash Trump or the agenda of fascism and oligarchy that the MAGA movement consists of. We must publicly oppose the MAGA agenda and progressively fight for democracy.

Cultural Information.

Trump is an enemy of the First Amendment. By Trump denying MS Now, CNN, and Politico of White House entry violates the freedom of the press explicitly. The press is an occupation protected by the U.S. Constitution. The American press has the right to show the news regardless of if it pleases any administration or not. Critiquing any administration is protected by the First Amendment. The freedom of the press is being violated overtly by Trump and his allies. That is why the press needs to go into court via legal means to change this policy from the Trump administration. One MS NOW reporter on Saturday was denied access to the White House. This is immoral as Trump doesn't agree with the First Amendment or the freedom of speech in general. These media organizations will go into the court, and we all hope that these media institutions will win this case. All three media companies reported of the mistreatment of the American soldiers in the USS Lincoln, the brutal anti-immigration policy of the Trump regime, and the corruption allegations. That is why tons of media reporters and leaders from across the board have stood up against this anti-media policy from the Trump administration.

Jacqueline Joyner Kersee was born on March 3, 1962, in East St. Louis, Illinois. She was named after Jacqueline Kennedy, the First Lady of the United States during that time. She was born into a poor family, and she found her love of running at the age of 9 years old. That was when she joined a special community track program. She played basketball, volleyball, and ran track and field in high school. As a high school athlete at East St. Louis Lincoln Senior High School, she qualified for the finals in the long jump at the 1980 Olympic Trials, finishing 8th behind another high schooler Carol Lewis. She was inspired to compete in multi-disciplinary track and field events after seeing a movie about Babe Didrikson Zaharias (1911-1956). Didrikson (she was of Norwegian descent), the track star, basketball player, and pro golfer, was chosen as the greatest woman athlete of the first half of the 20th century according to some people. Ironically, 15 years later, Sports Illustrated for Women magazine voted Joyner-Kersee as the greatest woman athlete of all time, just ahead of Zaharias. Joyner-Kersee attended college at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1980 to 1985, where she starred in both track and field and basketball. She attended the school on an athletic scholarship. When she was in college, her mother died suddenly of meningitis. Joyner's coach, Bob Kersee, helped Joyner grieve the loss of her mother. After she graduated, the two got married.

In basketball, she was a starter at forward for each of her first three seasons (1980–81, 81–82, and 82–83) as well as in her senior (fifth) year, 1984–1985. She redshirted during the 1983–84 academic year to concentrate on the heptathlon for the 1984 Summer Olympics. She scored 1,167 points during her collegiate career, placing her 19th all time for the Bruins games. The Bruins advanced to the West Regional semifinals of the 1985 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament before losing to eventual runner-up Georgia.

She was honored on February 21, 1998, as one of the 15 greatest players in UCLA women's basketball. In April 2001, Joyner-Kersee was voted the "Top Woman Collegiate Athlete of the Past 25 Years." The vote was conducted among the 976 NCAA member schools. In track, Joyner won the Broderick Award (now the Honda Sports Award) as the nation's best woman collegiate track and field competitor in 1983 and in 1985, and was awarded the Honda-Broderick Cup, given to the nation's best wiman collegiate athlete in 1985. Joyner graduated with a bachelor's degree in history in 1986.

Joyner competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and won the silver medal in the heptathlon. She was the favorite heading into the event, but finished five points behind Australian athlete Glynis Nunn. She also placed fifth in the long jump. Joyner became the first woman to score over 7,000 points in a heptathlon event during the 1986 Goodwill Games. In 1986, she received the James E. Sullivan Award as the top amateur athlete in the United States.  Now known as Jackie Joyner-Kersee after marrying her coach Bob Kersee, she entered the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea and earned gold medals in both the heptathlon and the long jump. At the Games, she set the still-standing heptathlon world record of 7,291 points. Five days later, Joyner-Kersee won her second gold medal, leaping to an Olympic record of 7.40 m (24 ft 3+1⁄4 in) in the long jump. She was the first American woman to earn a gold medal in long jump as well as the first American woman to earn a gold medal in heptathlon. At the 1988 Games she faced allegations of drug use from Brazilian runner Joaquim Cruz. This continued the following season in 1989 when Darrell Robinson accused Joyner-Kersee's husband and coach, Bobby Kersee, of distributing performance-enhancing drugs. Years later, doping insider Victor Conte asserted that in 1988 he personally witnessed an Olympic official at the Seoul games notifying Bobby Kersee that Joyner-Kersee had tested positive for PED use. Joyner-Kersee has consistently maintained that she competed throughout her career without performance-enhancing drugs.

During the long jump event at the 1991 World Championships, having already won with a 7.32 m (24 ft 1⁄4 in) jump, Joyner-Kersee slipped on the take-off board and careened headfirst into the pit. She strained a hamstring and subsequently pulled out of the heptathlon during the 200 m at the end of the first day. In the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, Joyner-Kersee earned her second Olympic gold medal in the heptathlon. She also won the bronze medal in the long jump which was won by her friend Heike Drechsler of Germany. At the Olympic Trials, Joyner-Kersee sustained an injury to her right hamstring. When the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta began, Joyner-Kersee was not fully recovered by the time the heptathlon started. After running the first event, the 100 m hurdles, she withdrew due to pain. She was able to recover to compete in the long jump; her final jump of 7.00 m (22 ft 11+1⁄2 in) was vaulted into the bronze medal position. In 1996 Joyner-Kersee signed to play pro basketball for the Richmond Rage of the fledgling American Basketball League. She appeared in 17 games, with a high of 15 points scored. There was the historic April 14, 1998 meeting about race nad sports being nationally televised on a ESPN Town Hall Meeting on Race and Sports that was held in Houston, Texas. It wasa live 90 minute forum. Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Jim Brown spoke at the meeting. It wasa necessary, spirited debate over corporate economic responsibility and racial unity. Jim Brown criticized major athletic corporations. He said that companies like Nike heavily benefited from Black athletes without giving enough back. He said that African American athletes should pool their financial resources to invest directly back into the black communities and collectively purchase professional sports franchises. Jackie Joyner-Kersee had a rebutall to strongly defend corporate programs. She said that corporate sponsorship provided critical funding and resources to help underprivileged youth nationwide. She rejected the idea that black athletes should feel an automatic structural oboljiated to spend or pool their money ina specific way. She said that "That's why we live in America because we have choices). The historic town hall was moderated by ESPN's Bob Ley aimed to address minority hiring, racial stereotypes, and commercialism in sports. It featured other prominent people like Georgetown basketball coach John Thompason and NFL coach Dennis Green. The question is that who was right? The answer to that question is more nuisance. Jim Brown was right to say that black athletes have a moral obligation to help our their communities, but far too often, Jim Brown had contradictions. Jim Brown said that he supported black liberation, but he publicly supported the racist Donald Trump. Jim Brown said that there must be economic development in the black community, but we all know that black capitalism benefits no one in the black communities except the upper middle class and the rich of the black communities. Jim Brown even didn't agree with Colin Kaepernick or other NFL players protesting racism and police brutality by knelling. So, Jim Brown was right to advocate for black liberation, but I don't agree with some of his conservative methods in getting that goal accomplishment. Jackie Joyner-Kersee is right that many corporations are helping the poor in America, including poor black people. Kersee is in error to assume that this is the end all be all. Corporations and foundations aren't infallible. You need revolutionary solutions to solve these problems too (like a radical redistribution of economic and political power as the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has advocated). You still need cultural solidarity in the black community. For example, Jewish people, Latino people, Irish people, Greek people, Asian people, Indian people, etc. have their own institutions that they own and control. No one complains when they do it. Black people desiring to form our own power bases or institutions legitimately are criticized by the establishment unjustly. Since 1998, Jackie Joyner Kersee and the late Jim Brown have worked constantly to advocate and fight for racial justice, an end to police brutality, and community development. So, both black people believe in the same goal but different approaches in reaching that same goal of complete black freedom.

Returning to track, Joyner-Kersee won the heptathlon at the 1998 Goodwill Games, scoring 6,502 points. Two years after retiring, Joyner-Kersee tried to qualify for the long jump event at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. She placed sixth in the trials at 21–10 ¾, and did not make the Olympic team.

My 5th cousin, Cynthia Ann Weeks, was born on May 25, 1963. She was raised in Westbury, New York. That is in an area in Nassau County on Long Island, New York State. Many black people live in Westbury and Oyster Bay, New York in Long Island, too. She attended Westbury High School (Class of 1981) and later joined the U.S. military in 1981. She married Jonathan Douglas Hicks (b. 1962) on July 2, 1988, in Chesapeake, Virginia to May 28, 1993, at Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is currently married to Pastor and Elder Kevin Davis. Cynthia Ann Weeks has many children, who are Cynthia Sewlall (b. 1985), Jasmin Davis, Corey Davis, Kevin Davis, etc. On Ancestry.com, there is a confirmed DNA match between Cynthia's son, Kevin Davis, and me on the paternal side of my family. That is why we are both descendants of 4th great-grandparents of Esther Perkins and George Perkins. My 5th cousin Cynthia Ann Weeks's parents are Thomas William Weeks (b. 1940) and Evelyn Odell Satchell (b. 1942). The parents of my 4th cousin Evelyn Odell Satchell were David Oliver Satchell Jr. (1919-1996) and Odell Cornelius Beckett (1923-1987). The parents of David Oliver Satchell Jr. were David Satchell (1900-1985) and Ellen C. Satchell (b. 1900). The parents of David Satchell were Jackson Satchel (b. 1845) and Harriet Susan Kelley (1860-1927). The parents of Harriet Susan Kelley were George Kelly (b. 1830) and Easter Perkins (1840-1910). The parents of Easter Perkins were George Perkins (b. 1815) and Esther Perkins (b. 1816). Cynthia Ann Weeks Davis now lives in Germantown, Maryland. Her cousins are Jacqueline Sample-Munfor

Late September 2026 News.

A Russian oligarch bankrolling Donald Jr.'s wedding celebration is bizarre. Donald Trump's 2nd term has been filled with corruption and allegations of corruption. The administration solicited and moved to accept a $400 million jumbo jet from Qatar intended for use as Air Force One and future travel, sparking strong bipartisan ethical concerns over potential quid pro quo. There have been valuable gifts, like a diamond-encrusted ring from a Belgian group and a gold bar and Rolex clock from Swiss business leaders. They were accepted close to reductions or removals of import tariffs on those countries' goods. The Trump family created a digital currency and meme coin ventures around the time of inauguration, reportedly generating billions in profit. Trump used executive orders to prioritize cryptocurrency and the easing of enforcement actions or investigations into crypto firms that heavily invested in or donated to Trump-linked platforms. Trump used his pardon power to pardon January 6th terrorists and other people who were white-collar criminals (plus easing significant restitution and fines owed to taxpayers and victims). Some people have called the Trump administration one of the most corrupt administrations in history.

The enemy of fascism and authoritarianism is international in scope. The far right AfD movement in Germany is allied with the MAGA movement, praised by Elon Musk, and some of it members have been pro-Putin allies too. Elon Musk addressed the AfD party congress in January 2025 on his way to DOGE (which crippled millions of jobs including thousands of jobs once had by black women. That was a disgrace as black women deserve the right to have a job with dignity and with respect). We know that AfD foreign policy leader Markus Frohenmaier worked with the Rubio State Department and MAGA leaders to study the methods Trump used to seize power so they could copy them. Even the DOJ accused members of Russian intelligence services of conspiring to finance terrorism and commit murder for hire in America. Putin is demonic, hiding behind the Orthodox Church. AfD is not just filled with anti-immigrant xenophobes but overt anti-Semites plus racists. Our ancestors and relatives over 80 years ago defeated the Nazis (2 of my cousins were involved in the 1944 Normandy liberation in real life). Yet, we still reckon with a new generation of reactionaries, misogynists in the manosphere cult, xenophobes, racists, and fascists who promote the same tired, evil doctrines as people did back in the day. Now, the Russian Matryoshka bot network is trying to demonize Democrats, because they realize that Trump is more malleable to Putin's interests. We don't need pro-Putin propaganda or fascism. We need democracy, equality, and justice for all.

There is a lot of news in the world. In a report from September 11 and released Monday, the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General (OIG) documented the use of metal torture boxes against immigrants at the Florida concentration camp. Trump and his allies promoted this place as the "Alligator Alcatraz." There are images of these cages. This is similar to the open-air cages of Guantanamo Bay and other confinement boxes that the CIA used to torture prisoners at its secret prisons. These same tactics are being used domestically in America. A facility record showed that at least one man was held in a cage for 26 minutes for failing to do a command. Immigrants at the facility have reported guard abuse, being denied legal counsel, denied medical care, denied clean water, denied recreational time, and denied edible food. The administration of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis defended the wicked torture boxes. The Bush administration back then allowed the CIA to build a CIA network of black sites where torture existed. We know about the torture chambers of Abu Ghraib during the Iraq War. Even Barack Obama admitted that the American government tortures people and no one was held into account. We see the expansion of the surveillance state, detention, and extrajudicial killing of people during the war on terror and today. ICE has killed American citizens and undocumented immigrants alike. That is why ICE should be abolished, free people from concentration camps, and create solutions to deal with immigration issues in a democratic fashion.

The Kennedy Center being under attack by Donald Trump is disgraceful and evil. President John F. Kennedy stood up for many progressive principles. President Kennedy eloquently spoke in favor of civil rights, immigrant rights, voting rights, a strong social safety net, environmental protections, health care for the elderly (which became Medicare), and investments in the arts. We have a literacy crisis in American society now when young people and adults read less than decades ago. That should change, and President Kennedy provided the inspiration to promote literature, art, dance, and other intellectual components to outline the wonder and beauty of the arts. Also, President Kennedy was an excellent author and orator. Trump has massive egoism to advocate the Kennedy Center to add his name. Trump has threatened to cancel the $257 million to the Kennedy Center renovation. Trump thinks that he can do what he wants without restraint. Trump cares more for obsessing with maintaining inordinate power instead of advocate for the people to have the power to establish their own destinies as human beings. President John F. Kennedy's legacy was about courage, intellectual development, and calling on all Americans and the human race to stand up and use service to improve the world that we have been blessed to live on. Congresswoman Rep. Joyce Beatty has worked hard in court to defend the essence of The Kennedy Center. Trump named called Rep. Beatty (and other people in a meeting) in an unprofessional fashion which is disgraceful on the part of Trump. Rep. Beatty told Trump to his face that he has more bankruptcies than anyone in this room during the board meeting. Rep. Beatty was right to stand up for truth and not let Trump bully her. The Kennedy Center belongs to all of the American people, not to one single party or one institution.

The Federal Reserve has recently raised interest rates by a quarter point in an unanimous decision. This is the first hike in 3 years. The Federal Reserve want to combat the rising inflation going on in America. This inflation has grown by many factors. They include the tariff policies from the Trump administration, the war in Iran, rising oil prices, and other issues of diesel. Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh wanted to solve the problem of inflation and stabilize the prices of goods and services. Warsh said that since the economy is at full employment, Warsh said that the FED can tame inflation without depressing growth. The latest Consumer Price Index showed that prices increased 0.3% in August. The unemployment rate in America as at 4.1%. The gas price in America is at $4.371/ gal.  We know that rent, the deficit, groceries, electricity, the national debt, mortgage rates, insurance premium, etc. have gone up. The rate increase comes after Trump wanted the FED to lower the interest rates. This comes when we face artificial intelligence, the wars in the Middle East, and global energy issues.

Domestic and Foreign Policy News.

There is a lot of foreign policy news. The Iranian back Houthi forces are trying to block the Red Sea. We should never forget that the Houthis are terrorists who have promoted slavery against black people in Yemen too. Putin's Russian forces have escalated their war beyond just Ukraine. Recently, Russian drones have crashed or violated the airspace of Poland, Romania, and Moldova. This is completely illegal. A drone was shot down over central Lithuania that originated from Belarus (which is a Putin ally state). NATO jets have down a drone that entered Lithuanian airspace. Nations have every right to defend its airspace. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said  that Germany will send troops to Lithuania to help NATO allies. We know that Umar Kremlev, the Russian oligarch who sponsored Donald Trump's Jr. wedding, is a former member of the Knight Wolves biker gang, went to China with Putin, and is personally sanctioned by Ukraine for his role in abducting children. Russia had a recent defeat at Lyman in eastern Ukraine, with multiple regiments routed, heavy losses, and a collapse of the front. The Russian Volunteer Corps (RSK), a unit of anti-Putin Russians are fighting with the Ukrainian army was spearheading the fight.

Recently, the Supreme Court did the right thing to reject his push to restrict mail in ballots. This was a good day for democracy. Obviously, Trump opposed the decision. Trump has no legal or moral right to control every aspect of an American election. Only state and local governments can regulate elections. The Supreme Court helped to maintain birthright citizenship and stop Trump's ability to issue tariffs unilaterally. Also, the Supreme Court did wrong to capitulate to the Trump agenda in many areas too. Only Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas publicly dissented from the Supreme Court stopping Trump's plan to restrict mail-in voting. Attorney General Todd Blanche wanted to defend Trump's commentary about the court when Blanche acts more like Trump's attorney than an independent follower of the U.S. Constitution. Trump should not be King, and there should be no unitary executive as the three branches of government should be co-equal with checks and balances among them.

Many A.I. CEOs, former A.I. workers, and others are saying that artificial intelligence are getting too powerful. Yet, many people have talked about this issue for years. Recently, many A.I. programs already have gone rogue. Many Utopians believe in transhumanism or trying merge humans with machines filled with A.I. technology. The CEO of Antropic, the San Francisco company behind Claude said that the industry must reduce the speed of A.I. He warned that A.I. agents might take over the Internet in six months to a year unless safeguards are placed. Artificial Intelligence is the most rapidly growing technology in human history. A.I.'s capabilities now are light years ahead of what they were 5 years ago. Dario Amodei shown a plan to regulate A.I. technology. There is an A.I. race globally, and many nations want to have a primary ambassador of A.I. devices. Sam Altman, CEO of ChatGPT maker Open AI, said that companies should promote AI safety processes before even the government can act. Even Chinese leader Xi Jinping warned at a conference in July of the need to keep AI from evading human control. Many of these companies have massive control of A.I. That is why we need government regulation of artifical intelligence.

There is another controversy in music. Ed Sherran dropped Macklemore from his tour over his Pro-Palestinian performance. Macklemore said nothing offensive. He said nothing anti-Semitic. He just said that Palestinians deserve freedom from oppression and he said free Palestine. Macklemore said these comments at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. He performed his protest song called Hind's Hall as images from Gaza and footage of pro-Palestinian demonstrations appeared on screens behind him. The Israeli-American Council launched a pettion calling for Macklemore to be removed from his remaining appearances on Sheeran's tour. People forget that far right settlers in the West Bank are harming Palestinians, Christians, journalists, and other people constantly to this day.  Now, I don't agree with Macklemore using a Jewish stereotypical mask before that he apologized for. I want to make that clear. They omit the war crimes committed by not just Hamas, but by members of the far right Netanyahu government. Netanyahu is a supporter and ally of the racist, sexist, and xenophobe Donald Trump. Macklemore said clearly that he is not criticizing Jewish people, but Israeli policies. He believes in peace, love, and equality. We want all people in the Middle East to have justice and equality. We don't agree with genocide, occupation, and oppression, no matter who does it. The singer Pink shared criticism of Macklemore's performance when unbiased research documents the war crimes done by Hamas and some members of the Israeli government. We desire Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace, equality, and justice, but we can't whitewash what is going on in the Middle East either. Silence is not an option.

This time has been the 30th year anniversary of the passing of Tupac Shakur. Tupac was a child of Afeni Shakur and William Garland, both Black Panther Party members. He was born in East Harlem, New York City in 1971. He and his relatives were monitored by the FBI, and he moved into Baltimore. Tupac was an activist at a long ago to promote anti-crime measures and economic power in Baltimore. His life long friend Jada Pinkett Smith was with him in the Baltimore School of the Arts. Tupac studied action, poetry, jazz, and ballet. He went into Marin City, California by 1988. His mentor Leila Steinberg supported him and inspired him in his music career. Many of his songs had a political message with revolutionary themes like Panther Power which exposed imperialism, colonialism, and the hypocrisies found in American society. He was in Digital Underground, and he made his own solo career. Tupac has been through ups and downs. He reflected the desperate mentality of survival, which was the common experiences of many young black men back then. Back in the 1990s, there was great joy. I lived in the 1990s, so I experienced that joy, but the 1990s has many racial, economic, and social issues that people had to deal with too. The corporate media promotion of East/West tensions was remarkably similar to the FBI's COINTELPRO's program of trying to advance East vs. West tensions in the Black Panther Party during the 1970s. Tupac made one of the most powerful songs of all time called Dear Mama that showed love and dignity to his mother, Afeni Shakur. Jealousy and envy caused Tupac's passing by a coward. I remember his passing just like yesterday. I just started the 8th grade in middle school, and I thought that he would live (as he was shot before). When he passed, there was a lot of sadness among young people and the hip hop community in general. I was in shock, and people showed his music everywhere. There won't be another Tupac Shakur. There is only one.

Rest in Power Brother Tupac Shakur.

Important Cultural and Social Topics.

There are many studies that document how doing a variety of different exercises can lower your risk of early death improve overall human health. That means that doing more than one type of exercise has long lasting mental and health benefits for human beings. There is research from institutions like the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health that shows that mixing up physical activities stimulates different body systems and provides for unique advantages. Research proves that people who mix activities like walking, running, swimming tennis, and weightlifting lower the overall risk of death compared to people who stick to only one type of activity. Doing just one exercise over and over stresses the same joints and muscles, which can lead to overuse injuries. Mixing workouts spread the physical stress more evenly. Certain cardio like cycling and brisk walking, resistance training and balance work to improve your heart health, builds muscle mass, keep bones strong, and prevents falls. Trying different activities keeps your routines interesting. It also prevents workout boredom and makes it easier to stay motivated over time. That is why it is just great to have a diversity in anyone exercise regimen. People have the right to have a well-rounded health and fitness culture. We have another new long-term study that was published in BMJ Medicine that mixing different types of physical activity may provide unique health benefits beyond simply exercising alone. This data is from over 111,000 adults followed for nearly 30 years. Researchers found out that doing many exercise routines like walking, running, swimming, tennis or weight training can reduce mortality. We know that racquet sports improve neuromuscular coordination, running boosts cardiovascular fitness, and resistance training maintains muscle and bone health.

Aging is an inevitable part of living life on this Earth. There are many legitimate ways to slow down aging and improve one's life. One is exercise and constantly moving. You can use the stairs instead of the elevator. You can walk to locations instead of driving all of the time. You can stretch while watching television. Retirement among senior age doesn't mean that we should necessarily shut down physically, mentally, or emotionally. At any age, people should maintain their intellectual curiosity by reading, doing puzzles, learning a new language, and doing other activities. Okinawa, Japan is one of the longest living regions on Earth (among human beings). Their many centenarians have one shared concept called Kigai, a reason to get up in the morning. They have a project, a community role, and a craft to complete. That is why chronic stress is bad for your health. The Okinawa Centenarian Study found that eating food until you are 80% full have lower rates of heart disease, obesity, and diabetes (relating to a process called autophagy or the body's process for clearing out damaged cells). Living longer means to avoid processed food and excess sugar. Excess sugar can break down skin and speed up aging from within. Having social connections, helping others, and doing public service definitely will make you live longer too. Therefore, exercise, keep your mind busy, walk, eat vegetables and healthy meats (if you desire to eat meats), and contributing to society in a positive direction are keys for a longer human longevity.

Jackie Joyner-Kersee lived a life that few people in human history has lived. She lived in a working-class environment during her youth, and she is one of the greatest athlete in human history. Her accomplishments are truly extraordinary. Also, she is a humble black woman who have helped people in the Boys and Girls Club including other philanthropic endeavors for years and decades. She loved to compete in track and field sports like the heptathlon and the long jump. She won numerous gold medals in the Olympics, World Championships, Goodwill Games, and the Pan-American Games. For years, she has fought for racial equality, women's rights, and education for children. She has inspired so many athletes to not only perform on the track. She wants them to be a beacon of light in their own communities. The reason is that athletes are blessed with a lot of talent and opportunities Jackie Joyner-Kersee created a foundation for future athletes to flourish in a multitude of sports. We know of their names. They are Brittney Reese (who is an Olympic and world champion long jumper), the late icon Tori Bowie (Joyner-Kersee supported her for years), Tianna Madison (a gold medal sprinter and long jumper), Anna Hall (who is a young, great heptathlon athlete in her own right who won gold in the 2025 World Championships), and of course Syndey McLaughlin-Levrone (who is a sprinter and hurdler. She is among one of the greatest 400m hurdlers of all time). Jackie Joyner-Kersee won 6 Olympic medals, 4 World Championship gold medals, a world record holder in the heptathlon (of 7,291 points in 1988 which is a record that still stands), and was named Sports Illustrated's Greatest Woman Athlete of the 20th Century in 1999. She competed well into the late 1990s. Today, she is one of the greatest mentors in sports history and a great contributor to our community in enumerable ways.

Chadwick Boseman only lived for 42 years on this Earth, but his legacy is very extensive in the world. He was born in the South Anderson, South Carolina. He lived in Los Angeles just before his passing. He was one of the biggest what ifs in our history. If he kept on doing what he was doing, he was destined for achieving more greatness. He was already one of the greatest actors of our generation playing in some of the most iconic movies of the 21st century. He loved to study directing at the HBCU at Howard Unviersity. He was an expert theater actor and was funded by Denzel Washington to pursue his career. We know him for playing biographical roles like him portraying Jackie Robinson in the film 42 in 2013, the role of James Brown in Get on Up in 2014, and playing Thurgood Marshall in the film Marshall back in 2017. Also, he had international fame in playing the Marvel Comics superhero T'Challa (i.e. Black Panther) in the film Black Panther in 2018 plus other MCU films. Boseman was the first black actor to headline an MCU film. He allowed more people to realize that people must be tested for colon cancer, especially black men. Colon cancer can happen to people in their 30s or 40s even, and all people must be tested in dealing with our health. His final film role was the drama Ma Rainey's Black Bottom which was released in 2020. As a young man, he faced many events. Likewise, he was a Christian and was baptized in church. He kept his faith and was a well known philanthropist. When a prominent man who gave his life to help others passes away so young, it is important to be remind how precious life is and the importance of doing the work to help others out of a legitimate, sincere motivation.

There should always be a recap of the similarities of men and women. Research shows that men and women have essentially the same general intelligence and core intellectual capacities. According to the American Psychological Association, most psychological traits and personality measures show very small or no significant differences between genders. Both sexes have the same basic organ systems, genetic structures, and a mix of the same primary hormones (i.e. testosterone and estrogen), just in different amounts. According to the American Psychological Association, studies show that one's sex has little to no bearing on personality, cognition, and leadership. Psychologist Janet Shibley Hyde, Ph.D., of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, found that men and women from childhood to adulthood are more alike than different on most psychological variables. There are many key differences between men and women. Men typically have greater average muscle mass, height, bone density, and red blood cell counts due to higher levels of testosterone. Women typically have higher average body fat percentages and store fat differently (like women store fat at hip and thighs versus the abdomen). Adults men average significantly higher levels of testosterone, while women have higher relative levels of estrogen and different baseline hormonal cycles. Studies suggest that men lean more toward culturally working with "things" or abstract systems, whereas women lean culturally more toward working with people and nurturing roles. Evidence shows that men, on average, display higher rates of physical aggression and risk-taking, while women score higher on average in measures of neuroticism or self-protective anxiety. On average, men typically have thicker skin by about 25 percent. They have higher densities of the protein collagen. Men are less sensitive to cold temperatures. Women have better senses of smell and taste. They have 50 more cells (neurons) in their olfactory bulbs, the part of the brain responsible for processing smells. Women also usually have more taste buds than men.

David Fetterman sold out to ally with Trumpism. This is proven by him going on to support the Trump midterm GOP rally days ago. With Trump's imperialism, racism, sexism, xenophobia, and extremism in general, Fetterman shouldn't gone and support that hate rally. Fetterman said that he disagrees with socialism, but Trump supports the near socialist plan of trying to give every American adult $5000 from the government if the GOP wins the House or the Senate. Such a plan wouldn't pass and is a bribery scheme in desperately trying to gain votes (as Trump has record low popularity among the American people).

One of the many unsung heroes of 9/11 is Betty Ann Ong. She was an American Airlines flight attendant who was on board American Airlines Flight 11 during the September 11 attacks. She was the first person to alert ground authorities to the hijacking. She contacted American Airlines ground personnel from the air to report that the cockpit was not answering and that crew members had been stabbed. She stayed on the phone for over 20 minutes to relay vital details about the great emergency. Her radio communications helped provide the information that led the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to close U.S. airspace for the first time in history. She was born in San Francisco, California. Ong was engaged to Robert Landrum. She lived in Andover, Massachusetts prior to her passing. She worked for American Airlines for 14 years and advanced to the role of head flight attendant, based at Logan International Airport in Massachusetts. She was declared a national hero by the 9/11 Commission and honored by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum for her extraordinary composure and courage. She was just 45 years old when she passed away on September 11, 2001, while she was on Flight 11. In 2011, the recreation center in San Francisco's Chinatown, where she had played as a child, was renamed the Betty Ann Ong Chinese Recreation Center. The Betty Ann Ong Foundation helps children with nutrition, health, physical activities, leadership skills critical thinking skills, planning, team activities, and community growth.

Fall 2025 Part 6.

Plants

Plants are very important in our Universe. They are living organisms that bring so much life to themselves and to the Earth in general. They are eukaryotic organisms. That means that they have a membrane-bound nucleus. In other words, all animals, plants, fungi, seaweeds, and many unicellular organisms are eukaryotes. Also, eukaryotic cells have membrane-bound organelles like the nucleus, the endoplasmic reticulum, and the Golgi apparatus. Eukaryotes may be unicellular or multicellular. Unicellular eukaryotes are sometimes called protists. Eukaryotes can reproduce both asexually via mitosis and sexually through meiosis and gamete fusion (via fertilization). Plants are part of the kingdom called Plantae. Most plants are photosynthetic meaning that they get their energy from sunlight. They use their green pigment called chlorophyll in their chloroplasts to produce sugars from carbon dioxide and water. Exceptions are parasitic plants that have lost the genes for chlorophyll and photosynthesis and get their energy from other plants and fungi. Most plants are multicellular, except for some green algae. There is a diversity of plants like angiosperms, charophytes, mosses, glaucophytes, conifers, red algae, ferns, and lycophytes. Green plants are known as the claude Viridiplantae. There are about 380,000 known species of plants, of which the majority (some 260,000 species) produce seeds. They can be single cells and include the tallest trees. Green plants give a massive proportion of the world's molecular oxygen, the sugars they create the supply the energy for most of the Earth's ecosystems (and other organisms including animals, who either eat plants directly or rely on organisms which do so). Grain, fruit, and vegetables are basic human foods and have been domesticated for millennia. People use plants for many purposes like building materials, ornaments, writing materials, and medicines in general. The scientific study of plants is known of botany, a branch of biology.

The Parts of a Plant Cell

There are many parts of plant cells, and many of these components differ greatly from those of animal cells. The cell wall is the tough outer layer. It is made up of mostly cellulose, which protects, supports, and provides shape to the plant cell. The cell membrane or plasma membrane is a semi-permeable barrier that controls the movement of substances (water, nutrients, and waste) in and out of the cell. The nucleus is the control center of the planet cell that has the cell's DNA and ordinated the activities like growth and reproduction. The cytoplasm is a gel like fluid that fills the cell and holds the organelles in place. The chloroplasts are the sites of photosynthesis. They contain chlorophyll, which captures sunlight to convert it into usable energy and sugars. The large central vacuole is a large sac that stores water and nutrients. It helps to maintain turgor pressure so the plant remains upright and firm. The ribosomes are tiny structures responsible for protein synthesis. The ER or endoplasmic reticulum is a network of membranes. The Rough ER is studded with ribosomes to produce and transport proteins while the Smooth ER produces lipids. The Golgi Apparatus acts as the packaging and distribution center, sorting, and modifying proteins for use inside and outside the cell. There are more parts of a plant cell like the amyloplast (or starch grain), raphide crystal, peroxisome, lysosome, plasmodesma, and the nuclear envelope.

The Plant Cycle

To learn about plants fully, people must comprehend about the components of the plant cycle. The plant cycle is a process where a plant grows from a seed, matures, reproduces, and produces new seeds to start the cycle agenda. Therefore, the plant cycle shows a plant's life from birth to reproduction, and to eventual death. This process helps to continue the species. The cycle varies slightly between flowering and non-flowering plants, the fundamental stages are similar. The first stage is the seed stage. A seed contains the embryo of the plant and a food supply called the endosperm, all protected by a seed coat. Seeds can remain dormant until environmental conditions—such as water, oxygen, sunlight, and suitable temperature—are favorable for growth. Seeds are dispersed by wind, water, animals, or humans, allowing plants to colonize new areas. The 2nd stage is about germination. When conditions are right, the seed germinates, and the embryo begins to grow. The root emerges first, anchoring the plant and absorbing nutrients, followed by the shoot and first leaves. This stage transforms the seed into a seedling. Later, you have the seedling stage. The seedling is a young plant that grows toward sunlight and develops roots, stems, and leaves. It relies on photosynthesis, using chlorophyll to convert sunlight into energy, and absorbs water and nutrients from the soil. Then, an adult plant exists. As the plant matures, it becomes an adult plant, capable of reproduction. Flowering plants develop flowers, while non-flowering plants may produce cones or spores. The adult stage is when the plant is fully functional and contributes to the ecosystem. In flowering plants, pollination occurs when pollen from the male anther reaches the female stigma, either through wind, insects, birds, or other animals. Fertilization follows, producing seeds that contain the next generation of plants. This stage completes the cycle and ensures species survival.

Plants also undergo a genetic cycle called alternation of generations, alternating between a haploid gametophyte phase (producing gametes) and a diploid sporophyte phase (producing spores or seeds). In flowering plants, the sporophyte is the dominant, visible stage, while the gametophyte is microscopic and dependent on the sporophyte. Some plants, like ferns and mosses, do not produce seeds but instead reproduce via spores. Despite this difference, they still follow a life cycle that includes growth, reproduction, and the production of new generations. Therefore, the plant cycle goes on with seed growth, germination, seedling, adult plant, reproduction, and new seeds.

Types of Plants

Plants are classified by their structure, stem type, and life cycle. One major type of plants is called trees. Trees are woody plants with single thick trunk like oak, maple, etc. There are plants called shrubs which are smaller woody plants with multiple stems branching near the ground like rose and lilac. Herbs are small plants with soft, non-woody, green stems like mint, basil, and rosemary. There are climbers and creepers. These are plants with weak steams. Climbers scale vertical supports like grapevine and ivy. Creepers spread horizontally across the ground like watermelon and strawberry. There are tons of other types of plants too. There are perennials. They come back year after year, making them a great choice for a low maintenance garden. They add color, texture, and structure to the space. Some of them are lavender, hosta, daylily, and peony. Annuals are plants that last for only one season. They are perfect for beds, borders, and containers like begonia, cosmos, marigold, and petunia. There are cactus and succulents which are water storing plants that are perfect for low-maintenance gardening. They come in all shapes and sizes. They are snake plants, aloe vera, jade plant, and prickly pear cactus. There are roses like hybrid tea roses, grandiflora roses, floribunda roses, and climbing roses. Vines can soften fences and wall like clematis, wisteria, honeysuckle, and ivy. There are bomboo plants like golden bamboo, black bamboo, and Buddha Belly bamboo. Orchids existed like vanilla, cattleya, and phalaenopsis. Houseplants are mostera, pothos, philodendron, peace lily, and Zz plant. Bulbs store energy underground and burst into bloom each season with various colors. They are daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, dhalias, lily, and gladiolus.

Trees

A tree is part of nature in many ways. A tree is a perennial plant with an elongated stem or trunk, usually supporting trees and leaves.  In some usages, the definition of a tree may be narrower, e.g., including only woody plants with secondary growth, only plants that are usable as lumber, or only plants above a specified height. Wider definitions include taller palms, tree ferns, bananas, and bamboos. Trees are not a monophyletic taxonomic group but consist of a wide variety of plant species that have independently evolved a trunk and branches as a way to tower above other plants to compete for sunlight. The majority of tree species are angiosperms or hardwoods; of the rest, many are gymnosperms or softwoods. Trees tend to be long-lived, some trees reaching several thousand years old. The earliest trees evolved around 400 million years ago, and it is estimated that there are around three trillion mature trees in the world currently. A tree typically has many secondary branches supported clear of the ground by the trunk, which typically contains woody tissue for strength, and vascular tissue to carry materials from one part of the tree to another. For most trees the trunk is surrounded by a layer of bark which serves as a protective barrier. Below the ground, the roots branch and spread out widely; they serve to anchor the tree and extract moisture and nutrients from the soil. Above ground, the branches divide into smaller branches and shoots. The shoots typically bear leaves, which capture light energy and convert it into sugars by photosynthesis, providing the food for the tree's growth and development. Trees usually reproduce using seeds. Flowering plants have their seeds inside fruits, while conifers carry their seeds in cones, and tree ferns produce spores instead. Trees play a significant role in reducing erosion and moderating the climate. They remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store large quantities of carbon in their tissues. Trees and forests provide a habitat for many species of animals and plants. Tropical rainforests are among the most biodiverse habitats in the world. Trees provide shade and shelter, timber for construction, fuel for cooking and heating, and fruit for food as well as having many other uses. In much of the world, forests are shrinking as trees are cleared to increase the amount of land available for agriculture. Because of their longevity and usefulness, trees have always been revered, with sacred groves in various cultures, and they play a role in many of the world's mythologies. In its broadest sense, a tree is any plant with the general form of an elongated stem, or trunk, which supports the photosynthetic leaves or branches at some distance above the ground. Trees are also typically defined by height, with smaller plants from 0.5 to 10 m (1.6 to 32.8 ft) being called shrubs, so the minimum height of a tree is only loosely defined. Large herbaceous plants such as papaya and bananas are trees in this broad sense. Many trees expand by growing more rings. Trees grow large to capture more sunlight.

Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis is one of the most important natural processes in the Universe. We learned about this in elementary school, middle school, and high school science classrooms for generations. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, algae, and certain bacteria (or photoautotrophic organisms) convert light energy into chemical energy, produce glucose and oxygen from cardon dioxide and water. This process is very critical for life on Earth, because it forms the base of nearly all food webs, supplies oxygen into the atmosphere, and drives the global carbon cycle. Without photosynthesis, most life forms won't survive, and the Earth's atmosphere would lack enough oxygen. The overall chemical reaction for oxygenic photosynthesis can be summarized as: 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + light energy → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂. This means six molecules of carbon dioxide and six molecules of water are converted into one glucose molecule and six oxygen molecules using light energy captured by chlorophyll. Photosynthesis occurs primarily in chloroplasts, specialized organelles in plant cells that contain chlorophyll, the green pigment responsible for absorbing light. The process can be divided into two main stages. The first process is light dependent reactions.  These occur in the thylakoid membranes and require sunlight. Chlorophyll absorbs energy from light, which is used to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. The energy is stored in molecules of ATP and NADPH. The 2nd process is light independent reactions (Calvin Cycle): These occur in the stroma of the chloroplast and do not require light. ATP and NADPH generated in the light-dependent reactions are used to convert carbon dioxide into glucose. The most common type of photosynthesis is called C3 photosynthesis that produces a three-carbon compound during the Calvin Cycle. C4 photosynthesis produces a four-carbon intermediate, which is later converted into glucose, often found in plants adapted to high light and temperature conditions. Photosynthesis has shaped the world's environment in many ways. The Great Oxidation Event was when photosynthetic cyanobacteria (about 2.4 billion years ago) increased oxygen in the atmosphere. It enabled the existence of complex aerobic life. The energy stored by photosynthesis over millions of years is the source of fossil fuels like coal, oil, natural gas. So, we human breathe out carbon dioxide and receive oxygen to survive. Plants give out oxygen and take in carbon dioxide to survive too.

Environmental Issues

Improving the environment is a paramount duty among us as human beings. Without a strong environment, we can't have adequate health care, adequate housing, and other human rights that so many people take for granted. The environmental movement in the modern era has existed for long decades. Environmental issues are not monolithic. For example, we know about the importance of dealing with climate change. Over the course of one century, the average temperature of the globe has increased. That is why there was a massive July heatwave in Europe from Paris to London. Triple digit temperatures have existed in those cities and other locations where air conditioning was not common to this day. In America, air conditioning systems are more common, because of hot climates and culturally, we have it more in buildings and homes. The ozone layer being more fragile is representative of climate change. Many organizations have planted more trees, used alternative energy, and done many recycling projects to fight climate change. Since the Johnson administration, the establishment has discussed about human induced climate change. Climate change has accelerated extreme weather from storms, floods, drought, and extreme high plus low temperatures. Polar ice caps have melted too. This reality has to do with how we eat foods, how resources are allocated in the world, and how we plan flooding prevention infrastructure in the globe. Another important environmental issue deals with radiation. Radiation fallout has existed globally. Radioactive substances are high dangerous and can damage human beings at the cellular level. We deal with air pollution, plastic waste, water contamination (like what happened in Flint, Michigan years ago), food waste, soil degradation, cobalt mining, clean water issues, agricultural problems, ocean acidification (which can cause coral reef loss) and other issues. There is massive deforestation in Brazil and other places of the Earth. Also, biodiversity loss is totally ruining animal and plant species. It is no secret that Donald Trump is the most anti-environmental President in American history. The Trump administration has eliminated legitimate environmental regulations. Also, the Trump administration has legalized the killing of near extinct animals, formerly protected by the Endangered Species Act. This truth refutes the lie that Trump is the greatest President or he sincerely cares for the environment in a comprehensive fashion. Animals on the list that don't have this legal protection are the Florida manatee, Monarch buttery, alligator snapping turtle, the California spotted owl, the Florida Keys mole skink, etc. These issues can't be solved just locally or nationally. It takes international cooperation to legitimately address these legitimate environmental issues.

Conclusion

One very important part of the environment relates to trees. Trees promote more life on Earth and promote more creativity around the lands of the Earth. Trees deal with photosynthesis, and they can hold onto carbon dioxide that helps with the global climate. Trees can clean the air, cool the streets, and save energy. Many people don't know that trees can manage stormwater, protect wildlife, and improve human mental plus physical health. Organizations like the Arbor Day Foundation highlight these diverse advantages. For example, trees can trap dust and absorb harmful gases like carbon dioxide, ozone, and sulfur dioxide. They can store carbon in wood and soil to slow down global warming. Roots stop soil from washing away and leaves catch rain to prevent heavy flooding. Branches and roots provide safe spaces for birds, bugs, and other animals. Shade from trees can lower city temperatures during the summer. Shade keeps buildings cool, which cuts down on air conditioning use. Trees can reduce noise. Trees exist in two main groups. They are deciduous trees, which drop broad flat leaves in autumn, and evergreen trees, which keep green needles or leaves all year. Deciduous trees can be oak, maple, birch, and willow. Evergreen trees can be pine, spruce, fir, and cedar. There are fruit and nut trees and palm trees too.

Conclusion (Fall 2026)

In our generation, there are a new generation of sellouts who are overt in not only making anti-black statements, but they are agreeing with Trump on nearly every issue, no matter who repugnant it is. For example, there is a far right MAGA commentator named Officer Tatum who has a known history (similar to Tommy Sotomayr) in degrading black women by insulting their hair and appearance. That is wrong as misogynoir is evil, and no woman should be degraded regardless of their color. Attacking black women is nothing more than agent behavior, and we, as black people, have every God given right to defend the dignity and humanity of black women. Without black women, no human on Earth would exist. Also, this Brandon Tatum made disrespectful comments about Michelle Obama. These haters must have forgotten that we, as black people, will stand up for ourselves and for the dignity of black women including the rest of the black community. This Tatum person degrades black women to elevate white women in a false sense of superiority. This is not preference, but it is total self hatred expressed by Tatum. When Tatum was asked if he agrees with black people being better off during slavery, Tatum agreed with view. Tatum has total self-loathing 100 percent. There is no other way around it. The reality is that we have sociological studies and other studies documenting the brutal realities of racism, colorism, misogynoir, sexism, imperialism, and other forms of oppression harming people globally. He has appeared in Turning Point events and other conservative functions. Tatum lied and said that there is no picture of Nolan hanging out with black people when photos exist of Nolan with many black people. The MAGA cult is not only anti-Christian but anti-God. MAGA wants massive cuts to the social safety net, the ending of birthright citizenship, xenophobia, the restriction of even mail-in voting, and glorifies destructive imperialism including unjust wars like in Iran. That is not what Jesus Christ taught or condoned at all period.

It is no secret that MAGA is filled with racism. Laura Loomer is one of the most racist members of the MAGA movement. Angie Nixon just said that Laura ate dog food on camera which is true. Loomer made a racist remark about Angie Nixon calling her a ghetto b word and mocked Ebonics. Loomer is ignorant and silly for many reasons. First, ghetto refers to a location, but it shouldn't be used to mock working class black people or any person. Second, Angie Nixon did nothing wrong, and she stated a fact. Third, no black woman should be called the b word, and Loomer's misogynoir is typical of many MAGA followers who are jealous of qualified, educated, and powerful black women. Tons of black women that I know in real life are filled with great character, and we have to call out anyone who makes racist and sexist remarks about black women. That is our job. Angie Nixon is running her political race, and she should be judged solely on her political views, not her color or sex. When you have even Marjorie Taylor Greene condemning Loomer's racist remarks months ago, you know that Loomer is a sick, lying, Trump follower who has no true integrity. Angie Nixon is a black woman who is running a historic progressive campaign, and we wish her the best in her endeavors.

We live in many unique times. The Iranian war was the biggest foreign policy disaster of the Trump administration. Trump was deluded to assume that his 300-billion-dollar attempt bribe could cause a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Today, there is a stronger alliance among Iran, Russia, China, and North Korea. There are two wicked factions who are very powerful in the world today. One faction involves MAGA extremists who seek war, imperialism, the spread of Islamophobia (beyond just disagreement of Islam but the unfair, unwarranted scapegoating of all Muslims collectively for terrorism in the world) and Western domination of the world for the purpose of profit, greed, and xenophobia. There is video shown on MS NOW showing Republican Congressional leaders saying that they won't disagree with Trump on any issue. This is representative of a cult, not a true liberating political movement.

We have a real problem of millions of Americans being purged from U.S. food stamp rolls as Wall Street interests disgracefully demand more cuts. The budget reconciliation law was signed by Trump on July 4, 2025, or H.R. 1, OBBBA. This law created the largest reduction in the history of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps. By cutting $187 billion from the program for over 10 years- a cut of about 20 percent- the legislation has harmed the social safety net in America in destructive ways. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) puts the decline at about 5 million people or 12 percent since the law has been enacted. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture numbers, 36.6 million people are now receiving benefits. That is down 5.7 million from May 2025, below the pre-pandemic level and the lowest number enrolled in 17 years. Children are suffering massively too in the heaviest share of the cuts. In the 25 states that report data on children, 1.2 million have been cut off since July 20025. U.S. citizens and others who are authorized to be in America (like refugees, people granted asylum, survivors of trafficking, and victims of domestic violence) have been stripped of eligibility completely. This attack is about cutting resources from the poor and working class to be used to fund the war and other interests of the oligarchy. Some in the Wall Street Journal are celebrating this cruelty as they are more in love with laissez-faire capitalism than economic justice. One Gallup poll said that Democrats outnumber the GOP ahead of the midterms. Regardless of your ideological views, please vote, as the MAGA movement is trying to suppress voting rights with their attacks on mail-in voting and other matters. Affordability of health care, childcare, housing, education, and other areas of our lives matter, and these issues must be addressed to improve American society indeed. We have to fight to strengthen Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security without privatization. People want a government to address the needs of the people as the purpose of government subsequently is to improve the lives of the people progressively.

The other faction is slick. They hide behind the ethos of "anti-imperialism" and minimize oppression in Africa, Ukraine, and anti-Semitism (some even glorify Hamas killing thousands of innocent Jewish people in the October 7th, attack. Some of them equate even condemning Hamas' murder and terrorism to the acquiesce to the war crimes committed by Netanyahu. That isn't true) in the world. In our time, we have a fusion of people like Tucker Carlson and many far-right people allying with Vladimir Putin when Putin promotes policies that violate human rights, executed an illegal war in Ukraine back in early 2022, and suppressed the rights of journalists in Russia who have criticized the policies of Putin. Tucker (he hosted the white racist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes on his show. He didn't check Fuentes's bigotry on his show) has flirted with the racist ideal of the Great Replacement Theory. The Roman Catholic Candace Owens (who falsely claimed that leftists created the October 2018 mail bombing attempts, she deleted her tweet without explanation) believes in Holocaust revisionism by denying that Nazi medical experiments were carried by Josef Mengele on concentration camp inmates. This nonsense is common on the far right and fake so-called "progressives" who care more for ideological purity than truth.

Peace and Blessings Y'all.

Until Next time.
