2020: A Year to Remember (Part 1): The Rising Storms
2020 is unlike any year of my lifetime. I have been on this Earth for almost 40 years. I have never seen a year like that ever in my life. From the massive protests to the overt political polarization, the world will never be the same again. I do believe that 2020 is the most important, noteworthy year of the 21st century. The reason is that 2020 caused the massive change that resulted in the end of the Trump Presidency (and the rise of the Biden Presidency. Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania turning blue was a very historic occurrence). During January 2020, many people doubted that Trump would be defeated in his re-election campaign. The pandemic, the massive police brutality, the economic dislocation, and the failure of capitalist remedies to solve many complications contributed to the result of Trump only having one term as President. Very few people in 2019 anticipated what would entail the events that would happen last year. Today, it is January of 2021. As time goes on, it is important to reflect on the year of 2020 which is one of the most consequential years in human history. You can compare 2020 to 1968 in many ways despite their obvious differences. Even on December 25, 2020, there was an explosion in Nashville, Tennessee where people were injured. 2020 is very similar to 1968 as people are fighting a war on the coronvarius, protests against police brutality are unprecedented since the 1960's, we have massive political tensions, and we know that Trump was one of the worst Presidents in American history. That is why sincere people are outraged at the Muslim ban, the demonization of protesters, and the lax response to police terrorism. Human beings were always warned about Trump too. For years and decades, heroic people have warned the public about his narcissism, his lies, his racism, his sexism, and his xenophobia. Trump is explicit in degrading mail in ballots, abhorring the freedom of the press, and desiring Biden, Obama, and others to be arrested. That is ironic, because in 2021, Trump incited insurrection against the United States of America (which is treason). A large amount of Americans struggle to get food (as food insecurity has increased in the States) and housing. In 2020 alone, many people in the street ask me for money in real life, because they lost their homes or seek food.
When you even have many Republicans actually vote for Biden instead of Trump, then you realize that Trump is a very passionate far right extremist. His embrace of Reaganomics and his love for authoritarian militias (like Trump tweeting to want the Michigan militias to liberate Michigan in response to the virus) expose him as a threat to democracy. The far right militias and hate crimes have grown in America since 2016. Some Michigan sheriffs and police people have refused to enforce a Michigan state government ban on guns at polling places. This comes after 14 militia members were arrested for trying to kidnap and harm Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. The coup plot in Michigan is part of a large reactionary movement filled with Qanon, the Proud Boys, racist, anti-Semites, and others who hate progressive power.
These realities have a long history. America was created via conflicts and the contradictions (of the Framers claiming to be for equality but America was birthed heavily on the foundation of the 2 great sins of the genocide of the Native Americans and the enslavement of black Africans). The Post World War II boom from 1945 to 1975 saw a massive growth of the middle class and the growth of America as being the biggest superpower on Earth. The contradiction of that time was that poverty, racial injustices, and other evils still plagued America. The 1944 Bretton Woods conference made America the world's economic solitary powerbase that would dominate world trade for decades. The U.S. dollar during that time was the de facto world reserve currency, convertible into gold at the rate of $35 per ounce. The Cold War saw America and the Soviet Union claiming moral superiority, but America had Jim Crow apartheid. The Soviet Union had authoritarian policies and violations to basic human freedoms like gulags, suppression of dissident movements, etc. By the 1960's, Germany and Japan were rebuilding their economies. U.S. trade surpluses declined. The U.S. ruling class dealt with labor movements, the civil rights movement, so the Kennedy and Johnson administrations used many reforms to address real social issues. The Vietnam War crushed much of the American economy. By 1971, Nixon ended dollar gold convertibility.
Additionally during the 1970's, the reactionaries (i.e. followers of the Chicago School of Economics, lovers of austerity, and followers of supply side economics) targeted Great Society and other social reform programs that repressed the social safety net (and democratic rights). Both moderate, neoliberal Democrats and Republicans used policies to strike down the Taft Harlety Act, promote welfare reform, and committed further imperialistic actions that harmed the American people. Numerous people don't know that Reagan laid a wreath at a military cemetery in the town of Bitburg where members of the Waffen SS were buried (which is wrong and offensive on Reagan's part). Now, with growing economic inequality and other forms of gentrification (including other bad policies), social tensions have expanded to what we witness today. This is no time for compromising with an overt liar like Trump. It is the time to speak our minds, vote (in 2022, 2024, and beyond), and encourage more people to advance justice indeed. The struggle continues, but we will be victorious in the end.
The Start of a Global Pandemic (January to February 2020)
As January 1, 2020 commenced, the world had high hopes for a better future. Yet, as we shall see, 2020 saw radical developments transpiring in our world. There was a Presidential campaign going on with the most diverse Democratic candidates in American history. Most of the candidates back then dropped out of the race. It was a race that soon saw the competition among the Democratic side between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. Most human beings in the world didn't envision a coronavrius situation that would cripple much of the world at the start of the new year. As people celebrated new years all over the world, a virus was growing, and some new reports from December 2020 mention that the virus was already in America as early as December of 2019. 2020 would be one of the most important years in human history. Again, I have never seen a year like 2020 in my lifetime. It is the most important year of the 21st century so far. January 1, 2020 was when U.S. troops used tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters, supporters of an Iranian-backed militia, at the U.S. Embassy at Baghdad, Iraq. Trump said Iran will be held accountable. China fought the outbreak of the respiratory illness of the coronvarius in the central city of Wuhan.
The coronavirus disease 2019 is a contagious disease. It's caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coaronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The symptoms of the coronavirus deal with fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, and sometimes no symptoms at all. People with it can have pneumonia, viral sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, kidney failure, etc. The onset can happen from 2-14 days from the time of infection. The duration of people with the illness can be from 5 days to over 10 months. The CDC says that hand washing, face coverings, quarantine, and physical/social distancing can prevent contact. Right now, over 2 million people worldwide have died from the coronavirus. Illinois also legalized recreational marijuana on January 1, 2020. On that day, all books and films published in 1924 entered the public domain in the United States of America. January 1st also saw new regulations take effect in the United States on retirement funds, new minimum wage rules, and new overtime rules. Julian Castro dropped out of the Democratic primary by January 2, 2020.
January 3, 2020 was when a U.S. drone struck the Baghdad International Airport. The bombing killed Iranian general Qasem Soleimani or the leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force. Trump approved the killing of Soleimani and Iraqi paramilitary leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in Baghdad, Iraq. This ruined much of the relationship between America and Iran. Tensions grew. Days later, 56 people are killed in a stampede at Soleimani's funeral. A bus crashed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on January 5 that killed 5 people and 60 people were injured. The 77th Golden Globe Awards were held in Beverly Hills, California. January 6 was when the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued first travel warnings for Americans visiting China. Iran responded to the attack on Qasem by launching missiles at two Iraqi bases with American military personnel. Many people were injured. Hours later, the Iran's military shot down Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 shortly after takeoff from Tehran. All 176 people were killed on board. On January 6, 2020, former film producer Harvey Weinstein was charged with four additional counts of rape and sexual battery in a Los Angeles court.
January 8, 2020 was when Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle announced their plans to step back from the duties as members of the British royal family. The situation is that both of them were concerned about the British press watching them constantly and even using hyperbole about their lives. They wanted to rest in North America. Meghan Markle is the famous biracial actress who was born in Los Angeles, California. Her title is the Duchess of Sussex. She was born on August 4, 1981, and she promotes philanthropy and Archewell Inc. (or an American public organizations that deals with non profit activities and creative media ventures). By January 8, the American Cancer Society reported a 2.2% drop in the cancer death rate between 2016 and 2017. That was the largest single year decline in mortality for this disease ever recorded in the United States of America. On January 9, 2020, the Justice Department reportedly finds "nothing of consequence" in its two-year investigation into the business dealings of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. January 10, 2021 was when for the first time since the Great Recession, women outnumber men in the American workforce with women holding 50.04% of all jobs. On January 11, 2020, Puerto Rico was hit by a 5.9Mw earthquake and several 5.0Mw earthquakes, following the 7 January 6.4Mw that left one dead and several wounded in addition to thousands without electric power. On that day, the South was hit with windy rain storms killing at least 7 people.
January 13 was when the Houston Astors fired GM Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch over the sign stealing scandal. Corey Booker dropped out of the Democratic primary on January 13, 2020 as he desired to attend the impeachment trial of Donald Trump (as a Senator). Jay Z sued the Mississippi Department of Corrections over the deaths of multiple inmates at the state penitentiary in Parchman on January 14, 2020. It is no secret that the prison industrial complex has harmed the lives of many people (especially black lives) with rape, abuse, exploitation, mental trauma, and family suffering massive pain. The 7th Democratic debate took place at Drake University in Des Monies, Iowa on January 14, 2020. On that same day, the Women's National Basketball Association and its players' union reach an eight-year agreement allowing top players to earn $500,000 with an average salary of $130,000. It also provides fully paid maternity leave. January 15, 2020 was when the House of Representatives voted to sent its impeachment articles against President Trump (for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress) to the Senate. The firt impeachment trial of Donald Trump started on January 16, 2021. America started to screen airline passengers arriving form Wuhan on January 16. By January 20, 2020, 22,000 people attended a gun rights rally at the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond to protest proposed gun laws. The first recorded case of coronavirus reported in America was a 35 year old Washington man who returned from China days earlier on January 21. Eight Democratic candidates appear at the Iowa Brown and Black Forum in des Moines, Iowa.On January 22, 2020, Opening arguments in the Senate impeachment trial begin. In Davos, Switzerland, President Trump downplayed coronavirus. “We have it under control. It’s going to be just fine,” Trump told a reporter during a press conference. China quarantined entire city of Wuhan.
On January 24, 2020, President Trump wrote his first tweet about the pandemic, "China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!” Early voting starts for the Democratic primary at Michigan on January 25, 2020. On January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others died in a helicopter crash in California. People mourned worldwide. When it happened, I was certainly shocked. Sadness spread globally, especially in Los Angeles. LA always loved Kobe and his family. That was his home. Gary Peyton cried. That's a big deal when GP or the Glove cried over the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant was the greatest NBA player of his generation. Kobe grown from his imperfections to be a person who made massive accomplishments in movies, literature, and philanthropy.
Michael Jordan, to whom Bryant was often compared, said in a statement: "Words can't describe the pain I am feeling. I loved Kobe – he was like a little brother to me... We used to talk often, and I will miss those conversations very much. He was a fierce competitor, one of the greats of the game and a creative force." Shaquille O'Neal, Bryant's Lakers teammate from 1996 to 2004 and with whom he shared a friendship and later a heavily publicized feud, said that he was "sick" and "had no words to express the pain." Several NBA teams paid tribute to Bryant during their games that night with intentional on-court violations referring to his uniform numbers: violations of the 24-second shot clock and the rule requiring teams to advance the ball past midcourt within eight seconds. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar posted a video on Twitter expressing his condolences. LeBron James, who had passed Bryant on the list of NBA career scoring leaders the previous night and had spoken to Bryant on the morning of the accident, posted a statement on Instagram, saying "I'm heartbroken and devastated ... I promise you I'll continue your legacy." Jerry West, Laker great and general manager who had orchestrated the deal to acquire Bryant for the Lakers, said that, "I think the thing that resonates with me most... One person with one name – Kobe – you wouldn't have to mention his last name" and that it was the "saddest day of his life" to learn that the families in the helicopter crash had died."

Foreign Policy Conflicts (February 2020)
On January 31, 2020, President Trump banned travel from China, with some exceptions. Trump would later make the racist remark of calling the virus the "kung flu" virus. Hate crimes against Chinese Americans did happen in the USA over them being unfairly scapegoated over the virus. On January 31, 2020, the Democratic National Committee removed the donor qualification requirements for the ninth and subsequent Democratic debates, paving the way for Bloomberg to participate since he is primarily using his own money instead of accepting individual donations. Several of Bloomberg's opponents complain that this is basically changing the rules in the middle of the game. A group of six Democratic National Committee members discuss potential rule changes designed to weaken Sanders's surging campaign and head off a brokered convention. A DNC spokesman later dismisses the idea.
Brexit becomes official and the UK begins the process of formally withdrawing from the European Union. February 2, 2020 was when The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV in Miami. The Superbowl halftime show featured Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. President Trump delivered his last State of the Union address on February 4, 2020, and the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tore up a copy of Trump’s speech. Pelosi did it, because of Trump's disrespectful reactionary policies in America. The Diamond Princess cruise ship docks and is quarantined in Yokohama, Japan. February 5, 2020 was when the Senate acquitted President Trump after voting against subpoenaing witnesses, including John Bolton. Republican Mitt Romney is the only Republican in the Senate to vote for removal. Five people were killed in a mass shooting at the Molson Coors Beverage Company in Milwaukee on February 26, and the House of Representatives passed anti-lynching legislation. The first death from the pandemic in the U.S. was reported in Washington, D.C. Total cases back then reached 66 human beings. The Presidential campaign by late February 2020 was now between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden on the Democratic side. Many people thought that this was Biden's last stand. Rep. Jim Clyburn advocated for Biden in South Carolina and contributed heavily in a Biden victory of the South Carolina primary on February 29, 2020. That was a turning point in the race, and Biden's victory made him go on a trajectory to win the Democratic nomination. In essence, black Americans were the key demographic that led Biden to win the Democratic primary. On February 29, 2020, there was the first coronavirus death reported in the U.S., though earlier deaths will be reported later. The U.S. and Taliban reached a conditional peace agreement on February 29, 2020 too.

On March 4, 2020, Michael Bloomberg (who funded a Center for American Progress group that censored a report on the NYPD surveillance of Muslim human beings) dropped out of presidential race, and he endorsed Biden. On March 5, Elizabeth Warren dropped out of presidential race, does not endorse Biden or Sanders originally. By March 9, Italy placed itself on a nationwide quarantine to slow the spread of coronavirus. The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunges more than 2,000 points. Also, on March 26, the Space Force launches its first satellite, a $1.4 billion Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF-6) military communications satellite.
Conclusion
2020 started with massive political crisis, a Presidential nomination coming to a close on the Democratic side, and a growing virus in China. Many people didn't anticipate the widespread nature of the coronavirus on January 2020, but the virus spread rapidly worldwide. Suffering, closure of businesses, massive deaths, and an outright change of societal functions overnight characterize the era of early 2020. Trump, during the early part of 2020, either downplayed the pandemic or claimed that it could easily be contained in America. He made xenophobic remarks about China, and Biden made a huge comeback in South Carolina in order for him to start to win the Democratic nomination. That victory was done heavily by black Americans who decided that Biden was the best candidate to defeat Trump politically (and later in 2020, he did defeat Trump after the 2020 election). That Biden turnaround was one of the greatest political comebacks in American history. Bernie Sanders won many states, but we know of the influence of the centrist DNC. Bloomberg ran for the purpose of trying to stop the rise of Sanders.
There is no ambiguity about that. Sanders and his supporters were reviled and disrespected by moderates and some in the corporate media, but Bernie Sanders maintained a humble attitude. Also, Bernie Sanders didn't do enough to emphasize the importance to getting the black Southern vote. Black people are the major anchor of the Democratic Party. Our votes and our interests as black people must always be respected. We know that black women have done so much to fight for our democracy. That is why anyone should always send gratitude and black women. Black women deserve progressive policies to enrich their lives. March 2020 saw America change forever. That was the month when tons of schools, businesses, and stores closed down in the USA in response to the spread of the virus. New York City saw a massive death toll at first as a product of the viciousness of the virus. Yet, Governor Cuomo stood firm to organize a cogent response to help fight back against the illness. The up coming months of 2020 would include some of the greatest protests for racial justice in world history and a historic nomination of a Vice Presidential candidate (who is a black woman and an South Asian American woman) that has inspire people to this very day. Even during the early months of 2020, various occurrences showed the world that life would never be the same again. Like always, it is important for no one to take his or her rights for granted. There is certainly no excuse for bigoted prejudices and injustices. That is why justice is our total intention when we speak out and enact changes.

Health Information
The development of human health has always been a legitimate goal among human history. From walking to going to the gym, these activities enrich the lives of tons of people. Health is one major component of human existence. One misconception about health is that you have to disrespect one's physical appearance in order to advance legitimate health. That is not the case. In any endeavor we pursue, we always believe in treating our neighbor as ourselves as found in the Golden Rule. Everyone born on this Earth, irrespective or his or her color or background, has sacrosanct, intrinsic value. A judge of character is never about someone's outward appearance. Character is judged by a human's conscious deeds. Our goal involving health should always be to inspire lives, to educate people, to fight for change in society positively, and to be a blessing for the human family. One of the primary goals of improving health is the physical, mental, and social development of the human race. Ever since the end of World War II, new technologies have developed to fight diseases, measure health conditions, and establish more solutions to problems. There has been the acceleration of medicine, sanitation methods, and computer systems. We still have a long way to go in our world with record wildfires, pollution, climate change, the pandemic being spread internationally, and other complications. Yet, throughout the ages of time, there is always a remnant of dedicated human beings who are doctors, nurses, therapists, scientists, researchers, fitness experts, and other people who make it their life's work in enriching human lives involving health. These individuals to me are real heroes of the 21st century (other heroes are nurses, doctors, social justice lawyers, teachers, spiritual leaders, etc.). One lesson out of life is to never give up. I believe in that credo too, because no matter where we are in the road of life, we have equal value in the eyes of God.
Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are some of the most important substances of food and health. What is a carbohydrate? A carbohydrate is a biomolecule made up of carbon (C), hydrogen (H), and oxygen (O) atoms. They usually have a hydrogen and oxygen atom ratio of 2:1 (as in water), and thus with the empirical formula Cm(H2O)n (where m may be different from n). However, not all carbohydrates conform to this precise stoichiometric definition (e.g., uronic acids, deoxy-sugars such as fucose), nor are all chemicals that do conform to this definition automatically classified as carbohydrates (e.g. formaldehyde). Carbohydrates can include sugars, starches, and cellulose. These are saccharides. The saccharides are made up of 4 chemical groups called: monosaccharides, disaccharides, oligosaccharides, and polysaccharides. Monosaccharides and disaccharides, the smallest (lower molecular weight) carbohydrates, are commonly referred to as sugars. The word saccharide comes from the Greek word σάκχαρον (sákkharon), meaning "sugar." While the scientific nomenclature of carbohydrates is complex, the names of the monosaccharides and disaccharides very often end in the suffix -ose, as in the monosaccharides fructose (fruit sugar) and glucose (starch sugar) and the disaccharides sucrose (cane or beet sugar) and lactose (milk sugar).
Carbohydrates perform numerous roles in living organisms. Polysaccharides serve for the storage of energy (e.g. starch and glycogen) and as structural components (e.g. cellulose in plants and chitin in arthropods). The 5-carbon monosaccharide ribose is an important component of coenzymes (e.g. ATP, FAD and NAD) and the backbone of the genetic molecule known as RNA. The related deoxyribose is a component of DNA. Saccharides and their derivatives include many other important biomolecules that play key roles in the immune system, fertilization, preventing pathogenesis, blood clotting, and development. In health and nutrition, carbohydrates are found at many natural and processed foods. Starch is a polysaccharide. It is found in cereals (wheat, maize, rice), potatoes, and processed food based on cereal flour (like bread, pizza, or pasta). Sugars are in sugar, lactose, glucose, and fructose. Many fruits and some vegetables have glucose and fructose. A high level of carbohydrates hare found in processed foods or refined foods made from plants, like sweets, candy, table sugar, honey, breads, and crackers. There are simple and complex carbohydrates.
Some processed carbohydrates usually have less nutrients than more complex carbohydrates (with foods with fiber, vitamins, and minerals). Simple ones include sugars like monosccharides and disaccharides and complex if they are polyscaccharides or oliogsacchhradies. Yet, simple and complex carbohydrates are very in nutritional value. Doctors and nutritionists always recommend people to eat carbohydrate rich foods like legumes, whole grains, fruits, pulses, and vegetables. These help humanity. An extreme low carbohydrate dieting or the ketogenic diet can have side effects like low energy levels, increased hunger, insomnia, nausea, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Carbohydrates are valuable to give people energy for a workout and they support recovery and muscle growth. That is why people eat carbs in the form of protein snacks after a workout. This replenish glycogen stores. People should always get the right nutrients (in about 200 calories of carbs) before a workout. Getting carbs in the moderate way is good. Carbs aren't evil. They can help the body to use energy. Complex carbs like apples, brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, whole grain toast, yogurt can help fuel the bodies and get nutrients flowing in the human body.
A Recap of the Value of Nutrients (Vitamins, Minerals, etc.)
Vitamins are found in foods, shown in commercials, and are commonly known by people of all ages. A vitamin is an organic molecule (or a set of molecules closely related chemically like vitamers) that is an essential micro-nutrient. Also, vitamins are substances that are needed for normal cell function, growth, and development. There are 13 major essential vitamins needed for the body to work properly. Organisms need vitamins in small quantities for the proper functioning of its metabolism. Essential nutrients can't be synthesized in the organism, either at all or not in sufficient quantities. They must be obtained via diet. The list of these 13 major vitamins are: vitamin A (as all-trans-retinol, all-trans-retinyl-esters, as well as all-trans-beta-carotene and other provitamin A carotenoids), vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin B7 (biotin), vitamin B9 (folic acid or folate), vitamin B12 (cobalamins), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin D (calciferols), vitamin E (tocopherols and tocotrienols), and vitamin K (phylloquinone and menaquinones). Vitamins have diverse biochemical functions. Vitamin A acts as a regulator of cell and tissue growth and differentiation. Vitamin D provides a hormone-like function, regulating mineral metabolism for bones and other organs. The B complex vitamins function as enzyme cofactors (coenzymes) or the precursors for them. Vitamins C and E function as antioxidants. Both deficient and excess intake of a vitamin can potentially cause clinically significant illness, although excess intake of water-soluble vitamins is less likely to do so. What are antioxidants? Antioxidants are substances that may prevent or delay some types of cell damages. They are some of the most important substances to improve upon human health. Many antioxidants are beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene, selenium, and Vitamins C and E. Fruits and vegetables have them constantly.
They are found in dietary supplements. Research have not shown antioxidant supplements as thorough enough to prevent disease. Fat soluble vitamins are stored in the liver and fatty tissues like A, D, E, and K. Folate is a B-vitamin that helps to make DNA and other genetic material. That is why folate is used by pregnant women to prevent major birth defects of the brain or spine. Multivitamins and mineral supplements are used to help add nutrients to the body as a supplement after eating foods. Niacin is a nutrient in the vitamin B complex that helps people to allow enzymes to work great (it helps the skin, nerves, and digestive tract). Vitamin A increases the growth of the vision, bone growth, reproduction, cell function, and immune system. It can be found in colorful fruits and vegetables. Vitamin A is found in cereals and milk. Vitamin B6 helps with brain development during pregnancy and immune function. Vitamin B12 helps the body's nerve and blood cells. It helps make DNA or the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin C develops the skin, bones, and connective tissues. It can be found in fruits and vegetables like citrus, peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, and greens. Vitamin D obviously develops bones by absorbing calcium. It fights osteoporosis and rickets. It can develop the nerve, muscle, and immune systems. The antioxidant of Vitamin E is found in nuts, sees, and leafy greens. Healthy tissues and healthy bones are helped by Vitamin K. Dark berries and green vegetables plus bacteria in the intestines have Vitamin K. No one should excessively take vitamins.
What is a mineral involving health? In the context of nutrition, a mineral is a chemical element required as an essential nutrient by organisms to perform functions necessary for life. However, the four major structural elements in the human body by weight (oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, and nitrogen), are usually not included in lists of major nutrient minerals (nitrogen is considered a "mineral" for plants, as it often is included in fertilizers). These four elements compose about 96% of the weight of the human body, and major minerals (macrominerals) and minor minerals (also called trace elements) compose the remainder. Nutrient minerals, being elements, cannot be synthesized biochemically by living organisms. Plants get minerals from soil. Most of the minerals in a human diet come from eating plants and animals or from drinking water. As a group, minerals are one of the four groups of essential nutrients, the others of which are vitamins, essential fatty acids, and essential amino acids. The five major minerals in the human body are calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and magnesium. All of the remaining elements in a human body are called "trace elements." The trace elements that have a specific biochemical function in the human body are sulfur, iron, chlorine, cobalt, copper, zinc, manganese, molybdenum, iodine, and selenium. Most chemical elements that are ingested by organisms are in the form of simple compounds.
Plants absorb dissolved elements in soils, which are subsequently ingested by the herbivores and omnivores that eat them, and the elements move up the food chain. Larger organisms may also consume soil (geophagia) or use mineral resources, such as salt licks, to obtain limited minerals unavailable through other dietary sources. Bacteria and fungi play an essential role in the weathering of primary elements that results in the release of nutrients for their own nutrition and for the nutrition of other species in the ecological food chain. One element, cobalt, is available for use by animals only after having been processed into complex molecules (e.g., vitamin B12) by bacteria. Minerals are used by animals and microorganisms for the process of mineralizing structures, called "biomineralization", used to construct bones, seashells, eggshells, exoskeletons and mollusk shells.
The Issue of Radiation and the Environment
One of the most important, but underrated health issues in the world today involve radiation. There is no question that we have to be careful in dealing with radiation too. There is no question that ionizing radiation in some condition can damage living organisms causing cancer or genetic damage. Non-ionizing radiation can do the same to living organisms including burns. In 2011, the WHO released a statement that electromagnetic fields including microwave and militmeter waves can possibly be carinogenic to humans. We know that radiation is the emission of transmission of energy in the form of waves or particles through space or through a material medium. One of the most vicious nuclear disasters in history was the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster that took place on March 11, 2011. Many people have came into the hospital as a product of the disaster along with death. It was caused by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. It was the worst nuclear accident since the Chernobyl disaster of 1986. It was the only accident to receive a Level 7 event classification on the International Nuclear Event Scale. The reactors shut down their normal power generating fission reactions. The earthquake and tsunami caused water to flood lower parts of the reactors 1-4. This cause loss of power to the circulating pumps. Then, 3 nuclear meltdowns came about. Then, hydrogen explosions, and the release of radioactive contamination existed. In the days after the accident, radiation released to the atmosphere forced the government to declare an ever-larger evacuation zone around the plant, culminating in an evacuation zone with a 20 km radius.
All told, some 154,000 residents evacuated from the communities surrounding the plant due to the rising off-site levels of ambient ionizing radiation caused by airborne radioactive contamination from the damaged reactors. Later, radioactive isotopes were released into the Pacific Ocean during and after the disaster. Since the Pacific Ocean is huge, this poisoned water has spread globally. Michio Aoyama, a professor of radioisotope geoscience at the Institute of Environmental Radioactivity, has estimated that 18,000 terabecquerel (TBq) of radioactive caesium 137 were released into the Pacific during the accident, and in 2013, 30 gigabecquerel (GBq) of caesium 137 were still flowing into the ocean every day. The plant's operator has since built new walls along the coast and also created a 1.5 km long "ice wall" of frozen earth to try to stop the flow of contaminated water. Yet, the damage is done. Even the most conservative researchers admit that it will take 30-40 years at least to cause a cleanup of the contaminated area and cause a decommission of the plant. Many studies were ignored about the vulnerabilities of the plant too.
The List of Healthy Foods
There are tons of foods that are healthy in our world. Apples have antioxidants, fiber, vitamin C, and other nutrients. It can help the human health, the skin, and the blood. Avocados are loaded with healthy fats. They have fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. Bananas have a large amount of potassium. They have vitamin B6 and fiber. They can help with improving human blood pressure too. Blueberries have some of the most powerful sources of antioxidants in the world. They can fight cancer, improve the skin, and build up the body in many ways. Oranges have vitamin C with fiber plus antioxidants. Strawberries have low carbs and calories. They have vitamin C, fiber, and manganese. Many of healthy fruits are cherries, grapes, grapefruit, kiwi, lemons, mangos, melons, olives, peaches, pears, pineapples, plums, and raspberries. Lamb have omega 3 fatty acids. Nuts have magnesium and vitamin E. Other healthy foods are asparagus, bell peepers, broccoli, carrots (with carotene antioxidants plus fiber including Vitamin K), cauliflower, cucumbers, garlic, kale, squash, etc. Many fish have omega 3 fatty acids and iodine. Brown rice is very nutritious with fiber, Vitamin B1, and magnesium. Oatmeal is great along with quinoa, Ezekiel bread, legumes, green beans, peanuts, sweet potatoes, and dark chocolate can help the human body in essential ways.
The Diversity of Exercise
In our generation, more people are understanding about human anatomy including the muscular system. That is why there is nothing wrong with studying biology, anatomy, and physiology in getting a better knowledge of health. What is muscle? Muscle is a type of tissue of the human body. You have muscle cells. They are called myoctyes. They are developed via myogenesises. The strands of muscles are called myofibrils which is made up of sacomeres. These sacromeres have proteins called actin and myosin. These proteins aids in contraction of the sacromeres. Major muscle groups are the skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscle systems. Our involuntary muscles are directed by the autonomic nervous system. Involuntary muscle controls the hollow organs of the body. They are the intestines and stomach. Cardiac muscles deals with the heart and the circulatory system. An organ can be a whole muscle. Muscles allow the body to move in helping bones, ligaments, and tendons. The heart is not a muscle organ, but it is an organ. It is not a muscle per se, but it has cardiac muscle. The heart is linked to a network of veins and arteries where blood is transported to parts of the human body. Four chambers are made up of the heart. The right atrium gets blood from the veins moving it to the right ventricle. The right ventricle must take blood from the right atrium to pump it to the lungs, which is filled with oxygen. The left atrium is given oxygenated blood from the lungs and then pumps it to the left ventricle. The left ventricle then pumps oxygen rich blood to other parts of the human body.
It is just plain common sense for anyone to be given equal pay. The pay gap is in existence, because of sex discrimination and other factors of the neoliberal capitalist system. There are tons of women in sports who improve, break down barriers, and made exceptional accomplishments. The professor of exercise and physiology and physiotherapy Dr. Netto said that women work just as hard from a training perspective and are entitled to equal pay. When someone does the same job, that person deserves equal pay regardless of sex or background. In terms of athletics, the cruel irony is that the lowest performing men still get paid better than the best performing women (that includes champions too). That is why the U.S. women's soccer team still earns less than even the men's team when the women's team have multiple World Cup victories. There are differences among men and women biologically. On average, women live longer than men worldwide. Women's bodies have more adipocyte tissue compared to muscle mass. On average, the musculoskeletal system is larger in a man than a woman. One important point is that true leadership doesn't even require massive physical strength. It does require compassion, discernment, emotional intelligence, discipline, and tolerance of other people. In health, there are Type 1 slow twitch muscle fibers and Type II fast twitch muscle fibers. Women usually have a better Type 1 fibers in dealing with endurance, while men usually have a better Type 2 fibers in dealing with power. There are many women who are very strong physically and emotionally. So, we believe in equality among the sexes.
The human brain is part of another organ system. It is not a muscle. It has about 86 billion neurons. Keeping the human brain active will improve the cognitive health of the human mind. That is why reading, learning new things, and social interaction readily protect the human brain. So, the human body has up to 639 muscles. Some people have more or less than that amount. Many muscles may differ in size depending on the individual person. There is atrophy and hypertrophy involving muscles. The smallest muscle is the stapedius muscle. It stabilize the ear. The biggest muscle is the obvious muscle that deals with hip extension relating to walking, running, and standing. The human face has muscles too. Muscle cells stop growing after birth. So, a person can increase the size of muscle cells that they already have. Increasing muscle strength deals with resistance training that can induce muscular hypertrophy. Atropy happens when muscles are not in use. Building muscle strength is done effectively by lifting weights. Running, walking, and swimming develop fitness too. When a person exercises, his or her's muscles have tears. So, sacromeres are added to repair tears. Myrofibrils expand the mass of the cell. Resting helps to make hypertrophy work. The body needs time to recovery. Protein and carbohydrates build muscles.
*Also, it is important to note that walking has enumerable benefits for human beings. It benefits the human heart, mind, and bones. A recent JAMA studied shown that those who walked more than 8,000 steps a day have a 51 percent lower mortality risk than those who took 4,000 steps a day. Walking helps to develop the human brain too. Aerobic exercise increase the size of the hippocampus or the part of the brain responsible for memory. Walking can develop vision, lower the risk of Alzheimer's disease, and reduce the risk of diabetes including heart disease. Walking helps with the human mood and advances a better sleeping pattern for people as well. So, walking is just a great way of living life.
Heroic Health Advocates
In our time, more than ever health experts are abundant. Health is wealth. These following human beings have sacrificed their time for one goal. That goal is that they earnestly desire more their neighbors to be more healthier and stronger from an emotional including physical standpoint. There is no way that the mind and body is nourished without the soul being bettered. Improving the soul details that we honor the dignity among ourselves and the human race in general. Many of these people have gone through the rain. They had ups and downs just like any other person in existence. Yet, they (like Quiana Welch, Vanessa Jacobs, Genevieve Brent, Emely Tembe, Fallon Turner, Jazmin Sawyers, Qimmah Russo, Maggie Watson, and other human beings) had profound gifts to build in their communities and to use their wisdom of fitness plus health to improve their own lives plus other human lives the world over. Many of them have done conferences, studies, and some have licenses at it relates to nutrition and exercise. They are among many walks of life. Yet, they are unified in their love of exercise, and their goal of human improvement among many endeavors concretely. It is now a new decade of the 2020s. Many of the same issues remain from the past, and new issues have risen up in the world too. That is why we should appreciate these heroic health advocating heroes who has inspired our generation in enumerable ways.

Conclusion
Health is always a valuable part of human existence. Studying about antioxidants, exercise, minerals, and other concept makes sense to develop the lives of men, women, and children. Every time people exercise and eat healthy foods, their souls come alive with a stronger immune system, better emotional confidence, and better emotional health. Also, I find that drinking chocolate milk after a workout will help heal muscles and build better strength. Health is more than about working out and eating healthy food though. It is about building greater social connections among human beings. It is about witnessing the truth that each person is created equal and have intrinsic value. We all have that capacity to achieve great accomplishments via faith, determination, and hard work. No one is an island, so we all need help at times during our lives. Likewise, human individual ingenuity and collective power in our communities are great foundations in building a more just, tranquil society. Health culture should never be about disrespecting someone by virtue of one's weight or physical appearance (which is called featurism or lookism). No one is born the same. We have differences, and there is nothing wrong with that. Diversity is good, because our differences makes the Universe more blessed. Our deeds and our personalities matter greater than superficiality. That is why a humble spirit, total compassion, and showing wisdom will make a real difference in inspiring souls. From learning about carbohydrates, vitamins, and proteins, information about health always is sacrosanct in its composition. Life's journey continues. Every baby being born in the world just proves how uniquely beautiful life is. 2020 and 2021 teach us that the so-called "little things" in life are actually hugely important in our lives. We are living witnesses to the vision of the Dream, and we will continue to fight earnestly in making sure that the whole Dream is fulfilled in the future.
