Bombshell Testimony in the January 6th Committee Hearing.

There are tons of bombshells during the January 6th committee after its 7th hearing on July 12, 2022. Vice-Chair Cheney said that Trump tried to call a witness, and then the witness called the Committee. The Committee then contacted the Department of Justice, which means that Trump may have committed witness tampering, which is a felony. The hearing focused on how the violent mob came together and the Trump administration's connection to extremist groups ahead of the deadly riot. Now, we have six witnesses saying that the Oval Office meeting in December 2020 was chaotic. Trump allies clashed with White House lawyers over how they would try to overthrow the 2020 election, and witnesses said that Trump was cursing all over the place in that meeting. We know that for hours, Donald Trump refused to stop the violence or send authorities to prevent the riot from using terrorism against the American people. Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland is right to say that Trump's true legacy as President is the carnage found at the U.S. Capitol in his conspiracy to try to ruin American democracy forever. One U.S. Capitol police officer said that the violence at the Capitol was so extreme that he had to quit because of his injuries. His name is U.S. Capitol Police sergeant Aquilino Gonell (who was beaten, punched, pushed, kicked, stomped, and sprayed with chemical irritants). Tweets and other evidence proved that Trump summoned the violent mob to the U.S. Capitol in trying to stop the election certification process. In December of 2020, Stewart Rhodes of the Oath Keepers wanted martial law in America.

This is a huge amount of evidence that proves that the Department of Justice should investigate and charge Donald Trump along with others with many charges. The December 18th meeting involved Powell, Flynn, and Giuliani in the Oval Office. Each of those people promoted the great election lie. Former Oath Keeper is concerned that Trump could try to provoke a civil war if he was elected again. Trump knew what he was doing. He is not insane, and he made an evil, calculated decision to try to harm our society. Leaders of the Oath Keepers are charged with seditious conspiracy for their actions on January 6. The Oath Keepers gathered firearms and ammunition in case members in D.C. needed backup on January 6th. Former Trump lawyer Pat Cipollone said that former Vice President Mike Pence did the right thing by supporting the 2020 election results. Michael Flynn and Roger Stone worked and communicated with the far-right terrorist groups the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. Stone, Alexander, and Alex Jones gathered extremists to organize "stop the steal" rallies. Bill Barr said that Trump wanted to seize voting machines which is totally illegal. So, this level of corruption is 10 times worse than Watergate. Donald Trump committed treason, and he must be held accountable for his crimes against the United States of America via trial and conviction.

Facing jail time, Steve Bannon offered to try to testify to the January 6th committee. He wants to talk to them. Bannon has defied to testify to the committee for many months now. The pressure got to Steve Bannon. This came after former White House counsel Pat Cipollone gave his testimony after Trump lifted his so-called executive privilege. Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren, a member of the panel told CNN's Jake Tapper that Cipollone's testimony gave a lot of insights into what went on in January 6th, 2021. We have new information that Trump was told by campaign aides, lawyers, and White House officials that he lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden. He pressured Arizona and Goergia political leaders to try to steal the election. Trump tried to intimidate top officials in the Justice Department to investigate, but he backed off after the threat of mass resignations. Trump knew the rioting mob were armed and refused to support them giving up their weapons and stopping them from going to the Capitol. Therefore, Trump could be charged with many crimes.

Tucker Carlson has always been an extremist. Recently, Carlson (including others) on FOX News blamed mass shootings on marijuana, facial tattoos, and on other things that have nothing to do with the gun violence epidemic. This gun violence epidemic has to do with easy access to guns and the social conditions in America that have increased since the start of deindustrialization. Assault weapons are used in mass shootings, and I haven't seen a legitimate argument whatsoever that an 18- or 19-year-old kid should have access to military weapons of war, outside the military. These weapons have nothing to do with hunting animals or target practice. The goal of these weapons is to kill and destroy as soon as possible. That is why real solutions must be made to combat the serious complication of gun violence in America. We know what those solutions are like investments in communities, education, banning people (who are criminals from owning guns), targeting the gun trafficking industry, promoting programs of conflict resolution, going out to fight poverty including economic inequality, etc.
