A New Era of Time in 2022.

Tons of news are doing on. Zelensky said that we are fighting for their lives. He continues to call for a no fly zone, and he plans on having a virtual meeting with the U.S. Congress to talk about his situation. There are deaths of journalists from a reporter to a FOX News media person too (who was a Ukrainian producer for FOX News. This person was killed in Kyiv). There is no question that Russian terrorists are targeting journalists and civilian targets in Ukraine. President Biden has signed a massive spending bill into law that dedicates billions to Ukraine aid. There is a 35 hour curfew imposed in Kyiv. Russian imperialists have used indiscriminate bombings on people and property. Far right and fake leftist pro-Putin apologists defend Putin by saying what about Saudi Arabia. My response is that we are consistent to condemn Saudi Arabia's abuses of human rights. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a tyrant ruling the Saudi monarchy. Two wrong don't make a right. The real hypocrites those who are silent on the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, silent on racism in parts of Mauritania against black people, silent on Putin's new law suppression the right of free speech in Russia, silent on the suppression of independent media services in Russia, and silent on the discrimination against black people in Sanghai, China. These hypocrites pick and choose which forms of imperialism that they don't like. The fundamental truth is that Western imperialism (that harmed Yemeni people, Iraqi people, folks in Afghanistan, black people in Libya, etc.) and Russian imperialism are completely abhorrent.

There is the story of the Russian protester who was arrested on live Russian TV, because she expresses opposition to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. A law in Russia could give people up to 15 years in prison if they call the conflict as a war and an invasion. The anti-war protester was fined 30,000 rubles. The woman's name is Marina Ovsyannikova, and she is an editor at Channel One. She wore a sign that said, "No War." He wanted Russians to advocate for peace, and she mentioned that Putin spewed lies to advance his unjust war. In court, on Tuesday, she refused to retract her statement against the war. She talked to journalists after her court appearance to say that she was subjected to a long interrogation without legal help. She thanked people for their support. I believe in the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press despite Putin's suppression of those rights in Russia. Right now, Ukrainian civilians are the target of Putin's forces.

What do I think about the Kanye West and Kim Kardashian situation? This is my first time commenting on this divorce ever in the Internet here. I took my time to wait and gather information, because I don't usually make a rash reaction. The overall point about Kanye West is that he is a huge disappointment. The problem with Kanye is not that back in the day, he talked about white racism being bad or he exposed blood diamonds in the world. The problem with Kanye West is that he has the contradiction of claiming to be super pro-black, but he has a lust to try to get white approval in what he does. That is reflected in his erroneous, offensive statements about slavery. That's proven in his support of a racist, sexist, and xenophobe Donald Trump (if people criticize Kanye for supporting Trump, Kanye accuses his critics of being a pawn which is wrong as it's bigger than left vs. right. It's about right vs. wrong, and Trump has been a reprehensible human being). That's proven by him throwing fits every time a Grammy ceremony doesn't vote him to win an award. He doesn't like that when a BET Award doesn't congratulate him. That's reflected in him dating and marrying Kim Kardashian, whose sister Khloe puts chains around the necks of black women years ago. Khloe never apologized for that either.

So, Kanye West in a mess. He tries to justify his antics by saying I have mental health issues, and I believe in God. There is nothing wrong with believing in God. Yet, tons of religious people don't have music videos where you allow torture and violence against your ex-wife's boyfriend. The vast majority of people with mental health issues don't act like that either. Therefore, Kanye West has every right to care for his children, but it's best for him to take up those grievances in court privately. Kanye West is wrong for his Internet antics. There are no excuses for that.  Kanye West needs counseling and resources to handle his mental health issues. I don't agree with Pete Davidson's texts talking about Kanye's children and cursing at Kanye either. Also, the Kardashian family isn't innocent in this either.  They have a long history of exploiting low self-esteem black folks for prestige, profit, and exploitation. Therefore, it's a hot mess all the way around. Both parties have to find some understanding for the sake of their children. I am certainly pro-black, and I believe in black liberation.

Yesterday was the Birthday of Sister Courtney Okolo, and she is 28 years old. She is a track and field sprinter who competes in the 400m. She was born in Dallas, Texas. His father is from Nigeria, and he came to America in 1978. Her parents taught her about discipline and academic pursuits. She graduated from high school in 2012. Okolo graduated from the University of Texas with many honors like the prestigious Bowerman Award. Later, she ran in the 200m at the Texas Longhorns when she was in college. She set a collegiate record in the 400 m that year when she had the time of 50.03 seconds. In April 2016, she broke her own collegiate record with the time of 49.71 seconds at the LSU Alumni Gold Meet. She won gold in the 4 X 400m relay at the 2016 Summer Olympics at Rio De Janeiro. She won gold in the same relay at the 2019 World Championships in Doha. Courtney Okolo supported the 2020 protests against racism and against police brutality in America. She won gold in the 2018 World Indoor Championships at Birmingham, UK. She has always worked hard in her life. I wish Sister Courtney Okolo more Blessings.
