The Trump Arraignment.

The historic news now is that Donald Trump has officially been indicted and arraigned at Miami, Florida. He has pleaded not guilty to all 37 charges relating to the accused mishandling of classified documents. He is the first ex-President to be charged of felony crimes in the history of the United States of America. Trump has a long history of not only habitual lying but glorifying violence and supporting authoritarian, anti-democratic policies (from the Muslim ban to trying to change libel laws to suppress the freedom of speech). This indictment is different in the sense that this is beyond a fine or probation if he is found guilty. Donald Trump can face serious prison time if he is convicted of the counts. That is one reason why he is running for President. Before the arraignment, Deputy Marshals booked Trump and took electronic copies of his fingerprints. They didn’t take a mugshot because he is easily recognizable. The booking process took about 10 minutes. Trump’s aide and co-defendant, Walt Nauta, was also arrested, fingerprinted, and processed. Special counsel Jack Smith attended the arraignment. Many Trump supporters are threatening people and saying provocative language. Kari Lake has been provocative with her comments too (by saying that Biden, Smith, and Garland must get through her to get to Trump. Lake promoted the lie that the 2020 election was stolen). Rep. Any Biggs of Arizona (and a Republican) tweeted that “We have reached a war phase. Eye for an Eye.” Terrorists like the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys have many of their members convicted of crimes relating to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol too.

The irony now is that Lindsay Graham and many GOP Presidential candidates are supporting Trump involving the indictment against Trump. The federal government gave Donald Trump all of the time in the world to give classified documents to the government. Trump has refused, and then the DOJ investigated and indicted Trump via legal procedures. This wasn't some persecution of Trump or having undue influence. It's about protecting democracy and making sure that American people are safe. These classified documents relate to nuclear secrets, war plans, and other issues. The 37-count charge document accuses Trump of mishandling national defense documents after he left office and tried to once his possession of highly sensitive, classified materials from governmental investigators. Trump believes that he can do what he likes with documents, even when he isn't President anymore. He's wrong, because documents being classified require certain procedures that must be done. Last year, Donald Trump called for the termination of the Constitution in trying to make him President again. Therefore, Trump is a clear and present danger to democracy in general.

Near Disney World, 15 Nazis waved flags and signs in support of Ron DeSantis. Ron DeSantis is a terrible governor of Florida with vindicative hatred of progressive people. These 15 Nazis waves flags with swastikas, Anti-Semitic caricatures, and images in support of DeSantis. There is video of these people cursing and threatening visitors at the park. One Nazi yelled racist nonsense too. One Nazi was U.S. military veteran David Howard Wynder. One neo-Nazi could be Ronald Murray Junior. Jason Brown is another Nazi who was a former New Jersey corrections officer and part of the group called the Goyim Defense League. He was one of three Nazis who was charged last year for being involved in an assault on a Jewish Florida college student. As hate crimes increase in America, we must be on watch to defend our democratic rights and other people’s rights. If these evil people hate Jewish people, immigrants, women, etc., then they hate us too. That’s real. A certain segment of the American elites does reembrace fascist ideologies. That is why DeSantis refuses to denounce Trump and his allies unequivocally. DeSantis said that he wants to end woke as a political movement in American society. Being woke just means that you believe that every human of every background is created equal and is entitled to life, liberty, equality, and the pursuit of happiness. We believe in this principle, and evil people don’t. So, we follow goodness in the Universe.

People should read the 45 page indictment. If any other person did what Trump did, he or she would be arrested immediately. The federal government is accusing Trump of illegally mishandling classified documents. These documents relate to national security matters, and he puts the lives of Americans in danger. Trump lied about what documents that he had, he moved the documents around, and he is angry over a legal subpoena. The DOJ indictment is perfectly legal and warranted, but many GOP members are defending Trump. The government used tons of patience in dealing with Trump. Trump brought this matter on himself. Trump was asked politely to give the documents back, but Trump lied about giving the documents back. He refused to turn back the documents back until a time latter.

I think we are in a new Golden Age of track and field from the sprinters to long distance runners. Men and women in the sport on the professional level are showing up and showing out to do their things, breaking records, and preparing for championships. The newer generation are fully coming into their own as we near the World Track and Field Championships and the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. We have Gabby Thomas recently winning a 200m race in Paris as part of the Diamond League. The 2nd place winner is Abby Steiner (from America) and the 3rd place is Ta Lou (from the Ivory Coast). We know of Sha'carri Richardson being in first place in many races in 2023 alone. Days ago, she ran a 10.73 second race in the 100m. For the 800m, you have Athing Mu, Ajee Wilson, Raevyn Rogers, running great. Faith Kiyegon has another world record in the Paris 5K race. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Paulino are in the 400m too. Noah Lyles is racing great in the 100m too.
