The Murder of Charlie Kirk.

 

There is the story of Charlie Kirk being shot during the Utah University event. Kirk was a far-right extremist. There is no excuse to shot or kill someone unjustly. We can agree to disagree on issues without being violently disagreeable. So, Charlie Kirk being shot was wrong and evil. The person who did it should be arrested and held to accountability plain and simple. I will not celebrate his death as that is immoral. There will be investigations and federal resources sent to Utah to find who did it and why. The person who shot Charlie Kirk is a coward and an evil person. Charlie Kirk has many reactionary, repugnant views. Yet, Kirk never deserves to be shot and harmed. There is no excuse for such of an act. Charlie Kirk ran the Turning Point conservative organization. Still, Charlie Kirk was a racist, wicked person who bashed Juneteenth, bashed Black History Month, and said that any black pilot has him worried about his qualifications. Kirk forgot about the white racist complicity in colonialism, imperialism, slavery, and other genocides against people worldwide. Charlie Kirk said that the separation of church and state is a fabrication which is false as it was promoted by Thomas Jefferson. He wants Christians to control all government, media, business, and education which is basically theocracy. Kirk hosted far right and overt white racists on his podcast. Kirk was a racist who denounced the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and he honored John MacArthur (who gave a 2001 sermon saying that black people are cursed by God to be a "servile people." He compared black slaves enslaved to a white man as being an obedient servant of Jesus which is blasphemy and evil). Charlie Kirk said that he doesn't believe in empathy but sympathy which is a contradiction. There is no sympathy without empathy. He was shot in the neck. People have the right to express their views in public, even if we disagree with them. You can't be a freedom lover and advocate people being shot at unjustly. Unfortunately, this epidemic of gun violence and political violence is American as apple pie. We all condemn Kirk being shot. Now, we know now that Charlie Kirk is dead. There is no excuse for murder, and we adamantly disagree with the murder of Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was not a hero. I don't agree with his views, but I don't agree with murder.

The FBI manhunt of the killer of Charlie Kirk continues. The murderer should be found and caught as political violence against people unjustly have no place anywhere on Earth. Murder has no place, and people should never be murdered for their political views. Also, many MAGA cultists have propped up Charlie Kirk as a great leader with wholesome views. The truth is the opposite. Kirk should not be murdered, but Kirk had overtly racist, xenophobic, and bigoted views. We have receipts, and no MAGA troll here can refute me. Kirk was part of Trump's 2024 election campaign who had funding from the billionaire Richard Uihlein, and Kirk organized the Stop the Steal rally that resulted in the January 6, 2021, terrorist insurrection. Kirk believed in the neo-Nazi Great replacement theory that claims that people are conspiring to replace white people via immigration. A member of the Turning Point USA's group killed people in Florida State University. Kirk used his podcast to promote Christian nationalism (including the end of the separation of church and state. Kirk followed dominion theology which is a theocracy), Kirk said that it's worth a few gun deaths every year to have the Second Amendment, denied the existence of white privilege (which has been proven by dozens of sociological studies), called George Floyd "a scumbag," and condemned the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Kirk said that Jewish people control the colleges, nonprofits, movies, and Hollywood which is anti-Semitic. Kirk falsely linked Ilhan Omar to Hamas and called for her deportation. Krik made the racist claim that Haitians in Springfield, Ohio were eating pets and other wildlife. Charlie Kirk is a racist who said that black women like Joy Reid, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Michelle Obama used affirmative action because they din't have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken seriously (so Kirk believed that they stole a white person's slot). That is of course racist and sexist. Kirk said in 2023 that all immigration to America should be stopped. This is the fruit of a fascist theocrat Charlie Kirk, but he shouldn't be murdered as murder is evil and immoral. Far right trolls on the Internet falsely blamed all liberals for this when these same trolls are silent on far-right murders of black people in Charleston, South Carolina. They are silent on the threats made now against HBCUs from Hampton University to other colleges. They are silent on the far-right attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband, they are silent fascist attacks on Democratic Congressional people in the Midwest too. Trump using dehumanizing language against liberals and black women journalists have not been condemned by the same MAGA base who lectures us on morality. Trump has glorified violence even saying that he wants birthright citizenship to be banned. Every syllable here is true too. I have empathy but not allegiance to evil.

Recently, Russian drones had an illegal intrusion and invasion of Polish airspace. NATO has activated Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty at the request of Poland. Article 4 directs the North Atlantic Council to begin immediate defense and military consultations for emergencies or situations of urgency when territorial integrity is threatened. NATO said that it has scrambled fighter jets to shoot down Russian drones over Poland. Other reports said that U.S. warplanes took part in defense of Poland. NATO planes shot down Russian drones which were deep inside Poland according to The Wall Street Journal. 8 LNG railway cars of Poland's oil and gas giant PKN Orlen were on fire in Lithuania after a major explosion near Vilnius, Lithuania. Russian drones and strange explosions hit Poland's security interests on the same day. While this is going on, the White House is mostly silent. This is the first time when a NATO ally engaged and shot down Russian military assets in Poland. Trump hasn't condemned Putin or desired to hold Putin accountable (or even try to defend Poland's right to exist).

Yesterday was a solemn day has been 24 years after the attacks on September 11, 2001. That day saw terrorists who used planes as weapons to murder almost 3,000 innocent human beings. The terrorists did not only political hatred against innocent people. They acted inhumane in order to promote their evil ideologies. I remember that day just like yesterday. I was a freshman in college when it took place. I was in a math class and at a college library when the attacks took place. I saw all of the coverage on television when I came home from college. Osama bin Laden was a coward who exploited the religion of Islam to promote mayhem and destruction. The terrorists attacked New York City in Manhattan, at Arlington County, Virginia in the Pentagon, and in Stonycreek, Township, Pennsylvania. It started at about 8:13 am. Back in 2001, there was a totally different culture than in our time in 2025. Back then, I used floppy disks, Aaliyah released her final album when she was alive, and the country saw the early era of the George W. Bush administration. When the attacked happened, thousands of people in New York City ran to various buildings to escape the debris. Many people on Flight 93 sacrificed their lives to stop the terrorists from flying the building into the U.S. Capitol building. Also, there was massive, nonstop media coverage of the tragedy. 

Nothing will be the same against after 9/11 as security increased, militarized police grown in America, and controversial anti-civil liberty laws were passed like the USA Patriot Act and the USA Military Commissions Act. We saw profiling and oppression of many Muslims. During the immediate aftermath of 9/11, many mosques were vandalized across America. We saw the growth of war in Afghanistan and Iraq. Imperialism by the West entered a new era of the 21st century. In 2025, we have a second Trump filled with not only polarization and massive economic inequality. We have genocides taking place in Africa, in Gaza, and all over the world. We have people who exploit the name of God and claim to be Christians (when they are not) trying to justify racism, hatred of civil rights, and a scapegoating of black people including other groups of human beings. Also, you have real people who are making a difference in society for years and decades. Therefore, we have to stand on the truth in our lives. That is why we must be clear to defend our democratic rights and stand up for freedom and justice for all.
