Senate Democrats accuse Trump of gutting post-9/11 protections. Also, ICE has detained travelers at U.S. airports which is increasing the police state system. Immigration agents have carried out arrests at check-in counters, arrival gates, and jetways at least 15 airports in recent weeks according to the New York Times. Those seized include an engineer who is waiting for an extension of his work vias, many newlyweds married to U.S. citizens, a Ugandan asylum seekrs with sickle cell anemia with a wheelchair, etc. None of them were accused of committing a crime. These arrests are being promoted by the Transportation Security Administration of the TSA. The TSA is fiving ICE with passenger information originally collected under the pretext of aviation security. According to American Oversight, the TSA and ICE signed a formal data sharing agreement in May 2025. This means that ICE supplies names to the TSA and informs immigration agents when a person wants to travel. This is not just about immigrants. The Trump administration has called the media the enemy, hates people who disagree with his views, and American citizens have been illegally detained by ICE before. The attacks on immigrant rights and democratic rights in general is a key reason why ICE must be abolished.
Dr. Anthony Fauci had a tense hearing with Congress on July 29, 2026. The Republican interviewers basically accused him of being complicit of the spreading of the deaths of Americans from COVID-19. The reality is that while Fauci isn't perfect and made mistakes, the Trump administration in numerous cases accelerated the spread of the virus by delaying emergency orders, refusing to take more precautions earlier, and Trump downplaying the virus until March of 2020 when America was heavily shut down. House Representative Ron Paul wanted Fauci to answer questions about China's Wuhan Labs, vaccines, and other issues, but Fauci throughout the hearing said he invokes his Fifth Amendment right to not answer questions. He has a legal right to do this, but state governments may try to investigate him further. Rand Paul disagrees with Fauci on the origins of the coronavirus that caused the pandemic. Paul thinks that Fauci covered up the origins of COVID-19 after Paul released over 1,000 pages of Fauci's private diary entries about his daily life between December 2019 and 2022. Facui said that Paul has a sick obsession with him in trying to get him behind bars. Rand Paul is angry, because ideologically he wants as little government intervention as possible in handling health emergencies. This philosophy can contribute to more deaths. Most scientists believe that COVID-19 was caused naturally from zoonotic spillover. Other Republican leaders accuse Fauci of financial corruption. Many Democrats have defended Fauci as being a target of MAGA, and they talked about Trump's hypocrisy as Trump invoked the Fifth Amendment nearly 450 times in the New York Attorney General's civil probe of his business practices. Hawley saluted the January 6th terrorists, but Hawley accused Fauci of crimes that he hasn't been convicted of. Today, the Trump regime has gutted the CDC and the FDA which facilitated the spread of many viruses now in 2026. Also, Trump has a known history of mismanagement involving the pandemic and other issues as documented by the Brennan Center.
The Republican attacks on Anthony Fauci are beyond their personal attacks against Fauci. It is about the GOP's war on public health. That means that many far-right people abhor any vaccination, desire pseudo-science, and wants not solutions to national emergency involving the federal government. Senate Republicans have used a witch hunt against Anthony Fauci. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary and sellout Robert F. Kennedy Jr. allowed Paul to publish more than 1,100 pages of Fauci's private diariies (having records as early as 2001), which is a violation of Fauci's right to privacy. When Fauci's attorney David Schertler attempted ot pseak, Paul ordered Capitol Police to try to remove him which caused Republicans to applause. Paul believes in the Wuhan Lab lie that claims that China used a lab to intentionally create COVID-19. It is no secret that Paul, Trump, and Kennedy have attacked mainstream scientific research. Kennedy has fired more than 20,000 HHS employees for no legitimate reason. He is known to promote anti-vaccine disinformation. On January 5, 2026, Kennedy cut the childhood immunization schedule form 17 diseases with universal recommendation to 11, a decision stayed by a federal judge in March. Now, we have as high as 2,318 confirmed measles cases in America (which is the most cases in America since 1991). We are about to lose the measles elimination status that it held since 2000 by November. That is why health care should be strengthened to promote human development and produce for human need not private greed.
One major lie about Trump is that the Trump economy is beneficial to all Americans. The truth is that the Republican Party with Trump has harmed the economy in many ways. Trump got rid of ACA subsidies that led to a 26 percent increase in health care premiums. Trump got rid of many clean energy projects that has led to a 13 percent increase in energy bills. The Trump administration wants to end Medicare Part D subsidy program in 2027. This prescription drug benefit is used by millions of seniors. Trump's actions represents his cruelty, and I don't understand to this very day how anyone can support Trump. There is absolutely no excuse to bow down to Trump unconditionally, but the MAGA cult has that reality. Ironically, Alex Jones recently called for Trump's impeachment over his actions involving the Iranian war. For years, we have exposed Trump when Jones wanted capitulation to him. Yet, Trump should experience impeachment for many reasons. In March 2026, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump had not ruled out the possibility of a military draft for the Iran conflict. I don't believe in a draft morally, because I don't believe you should force any human against his or her will to fight a war that he or she doesn't believe in. It is no secret that Trump and his allies exploit A.I. to promote total control over our lives, monopolize power, take away our voting rights, and seek to censor the Internet that opposes its agenda. Therefore, freedom is on the line. We have every God given right to stand up for our fundamental human freedoms.
The Todd Blanche nomination is on hold because of two Republicans having questions about him. They are not supporting him right way because of their concerns about the Justice Department's deal with President Trump to end his IRS lawsuit. Trump said on Thursday that he was willing to end the nomination. He said that he would keep Blanche on as acting attorney general and renominate him later. Trump is criticizing the 2 Republican dissidents who are Senator John Cornyn of Texas and Thom Tillis of North Carolina, both of whose support Blanche would need to advance in his nomination in committee. Both Cornyn and Tillis are leaving Congress in January 2027. Tillis wants to retire, and Corynyn lost his primary in 2026 to a Trump backed challenger. Blanche is a strong Trump defender who once was Trump's personal lawyer. The Justice Department deal to end Trump's IRS lawsuit over his leaked return involved a nearly $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund. Cornyn and Tillis opposed this act for weeks. That money could have gone to January 6th terrorists who committed treason against America. Another part of the deal is immunity for Trump, his family, and businesses from audits of past tax returns which shows how the current administration is the most corrupt administration in over 100 years. Blanche shown that he would have any independence from Trump as the Attorney General must serve the interests of the American people, not unconditionally support the MAGA movement.
