Issues in our Community.
This is an important issue to discuss, because we always should set the record straight about our people. Recently, 3 deceivers and fraudulent folks made derogatory comments about our people. First, Lil Wayne and 50 Cent (who disrespected Naturi Naughton involving her hair) joked about "exotic" women and made disgusting stereotypes about black women under the guise of their "preference." Colorists and misogynists always try to justify their misogynoir (or hatred of black women) by using "preference" as coded language. The truth is that this has nothing to do with preference. This has to with a certain segment of self-hating people who have vicious hatred of black women, who claim that non-black women have social superiority over black women (we know that to be a lie as I know tons of black women in real life with outstanding character and humbleness), and they use music plus other means to spew their propaganda. It is no secret that Lil Wayne is a colorist, disrespected Emmett Till, and said that he never encountered racism in his life. 50 Cent has disrespected his son on multiple occasions (it doesn't matter how much money a man has. If the son of a man sees that man disrespects his mother, then that son will not respect that person. 50 cent uses vile words via texts about Marquise's mother Shaniqua), accused of domestic violence, and he makes a living trolling people in vile ways in the Internet. These 2 folks aren't role models as they love to show lyrics promoting violence, anti-women hatred, and other vile themes. They are puppets of the same system harming us all.
Isn't it ironic that 50 Cent brags about "exotic" women, but a white woman named Chelsea Handler (a comedian) talked to him in the most offensive ways, but he didn't lecture her on being angry or volatile. He just took it like a coward. 50 Cent omits the many incidents when numerous angry white women harassed black people and falsely accused them of crimes (caught on video). Both of these traitors (who use the term exotic as coded language to ignore the diversity of the beauty of black women) are funded by large corporations who profit from dysfunctional behaviors. There is no excuse for self hatred. It is a shame that half a dollar's son has shown more maturity than his nearly 50 year old father. The truth wins in the end. 50 Cent forgot about racist non-black people making vile rants against black people for a long time. I don't believe in anti-black woman nonsense. Lil Wayne has a black daughter, and brags about stereotyping black women as "angry" while praising "exotic" women. We can't keep these things under the rug. We have to end supporting those who malign black people, especially black women. The so-called artist Sauce Walka made disgusting comments too. He calls black and white women the b words (no woman should be called that word) and said that he only dates white women for a business decision. He's a scoundrel (as he has pimped women. Only a low person would pimp anyone). That's why I'm good to listen to real hip hop like Arrested Development (plus Jasiri X, Rhapsody, etc.) or some soul/R&B music. It is always important to teach young black children not to follow in the footsteps of Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and Sauce Walka. We have to always love our black identity. Black youth, whether they are black girls or black boys, must always be told that they have value and their lives are worth living. Black unity is what I subscribe to.
Terry Crews is at it again. He once again has a love affair in trying to throw the black community under the bus. He was on CNN with Don Lemon to double down on his stereotyping of the black community. This is the guy who said that black people working together alone is equivalent to black supremacy which is ludicrous. Terry Crews continued in his lies. He said that black people, who are talking about working with whites and other races, are viewed as sellouts. That's a lie. Dr. King and the Black Panthers talked about working with non-black people for social change. They aren't viewed as sellouts by the majority of black people. Harriet Tubman was a friend to John Brown. Harriet Tubman was a heroic black woman. What we black folks view as sellouts are those who malign black unity, and those who seek to sugarcoat the epidemic of racial oppression under the guise of white validation. Terry Crews made the lie that black people don't hold other black people accountable (which is an offensive stereotype).
The truth is that tons of black organizations are fighting crime in the black community, doing mentorships, and helping the youth constantly. Black anti-gun violence groups are commonplace in our communities for years plus decades. His words disrespect the efforts of those doing the work. Crews made the lie that black neighborhoods are held hostage by criminals who then say that black lives matter. The truth is that black people are some of the greatest people fighting against crime, rape, and other evils. Crews fail to see that crime in the black community shouldn't be blamed on black people collectively. When a white person does serial killing against 10-20 people, society doesn't blame every white person, but that one white person. Society has sick pastime of blaming every black person on the Earth for the disgusting act of murder against an innocent black person. That refutes Crews' arguments. Terry Crews complains about not being viewed as being monolithic, but he scapegoats black people in monolithic terms as it relates to certain political issues. Crews stereotypes the black community with offensive stereotypes while claiming to be so tolerant. He's a hypocrite. His rhetoric is the same rhetoric that I have heard from racist white conservative people. The solution to our problems isn't scapegoating. It is about a massive redistribution of political and economic power to hold evil people accountable and invest in the lives of our Brothers and our Sisters.
Donald Trump is at it again with distraction and lies. Trump said that Bubba Wallace (or the car driver, who is African American) must apologize for the noose incident, and Trump said that the noose situation is a hoax. Trump also defended the use of the Confederate flag in Nascar, but Nascar has banned the usage of the Confederate flag in its arenas. First, the noose is not a hoax. We have video evidence of a noose. The deal is that the noose existed for some time. Also, the Confederate flag is a symbol of hatred. I'm from Virginia, so I know all bout the history of that racist flag. Trump is the one who should apologize to the black community for desiring the death penalty for the innocent Central Park Five (that he still calls for now). He should apologize for the black community for using slurs about majority black nations in the world. Trump should apologize to the black community for calling black women "dogs" and having "low IQ." Trump should apologize to the black community for defending Confederate statues. Trump should apologize to the world for his incompetence, divisive rhetoric, and embrace of overt bigotry. Therefore, we are clear that our eyes are on the prize of justice.
