Recently, Tariq Nasheed debated Jenicia Garcia. At first, I didn't want to comment on this debate, but I felt inspired to do it. The reason is that I want to set the record straight and keep on showing what I think about them. The debate was chaotic with yelling and screaming. Both them wanted to have the last word. Tariq is wrong for refusing to apologize for saying that black single mothers shouldn't get reparations, promoting macking, and on other issues. Yet, Jenicia Garcia is wrong for mocking a black woman's voice in the debate, saying overtly racist commentaries, and blatantly lying on the legacy plus history of African Americans. Black Americans scarified a lot in America. Without us, many other minorities wouldn't have the benefits that they enjoy now. Also, we know that we should reject xenophobia. Far too often, some people veer off into xenophobia, but we, who are black Americans, should never be ashamed of our contributions to building up society.
Garcia made the racist remark that black folks use their Blackness as a scab and we should just get over racism. She wouldn't dare say that to Jewish people, because she knows that Jewish people don't play. For another YT host (I won't mention her name here, but she is from Seattle. People know who I'm talking about) to defend Garcia shows that this person doesn't respect black people, especially black women when Garcia mocked the speaking voices of black women. Garcia mocked Black Girl Magic too. She has no respect for black people. So, the debate ended in both of them mocking each other and yelling at each other. Garcia made the silly comment that when black Americans stand up against racism and oppression, then we are being hypersensitive. No, we are being real to realize that centuries of oppression against us don't merit compromise. Tariq said that Garcia fled her country, but Puerto Rico is part of America being a territory of America not a country. Garcia made the racist remark that Tariq is a "slave baby" after Tariq used the racist remark of Garcia being an "anchor baby." So, it was a match made in hatred and confusion. Tariq is not representative of every black person, and Garcia is not representative of every Puerto Rican person. Garcia made the evil remark that we black folks are obsessed with who Latinos identified with. We don't, but we do know that Afro-Latino people are black people too. Jen Garcia omits the massive colorism and anti-black racism found in Latin America. Even the Puerto Rican governor supported Trump when Trump disrespected Puerto Rico for years. He even threw paper towels at people in Puerto Rico to mock their suffering. Jen claims that we are overly sensitive, but she harasses pro-black channels and people who disagree with her racist statements. She has no right to dictate to black people on how we should respond to injustice or pain.She is insecure about black people talking about Black Lives Matter and Black Girl Magic. Garcia talked about the Young Lords, but the Black Panthers inspired the Young Lords' existence. Garcia (who denied that black people in America are fighting when black people now are having voter drives, forming movements, and doing tons of work in standing up against injustice) made the racist remark that black folks get shot in the back and nothing is done, so this isn't our country. Black folks have every right to fight for justice, and this is our country too. Garcia made the racist remark that black women prostitute themselves for athletes and musicians, which is wrong. She has no respect for our people for saying garbage like that. Garcia tried to mock a black woman's mannerism in order to score points, but a black woman is not some stereotype. A black woman is a woman with courage and honesty. Garcia is 47. She is from the Bronx, NYC. She is a comedian and producer. Her hatred of black people and her alliance with Cyn G (who said that she is not pro-black) shows her colors as just plain wrong. When Garcia is confronted with the truth, she calls black people offensive words. That is her M.O. Jen always interviews black people on her channel who either don't know her racism or have that slave mentality to kiss up to her. She is thirsty for black acceptance, and when black people reject her "advances," she lashes out in an immature fashion. It is what it is. More people are waking up about the schemes of these agents.
We want our justice and rightful reparations. There were no substance, no ideals of growth, and just plain hatred in that so-called "debate." Garcia on IG complained that black people shout out being Black is part of her racism. Black people have every right to say that Black is Beautiful without apology. I see through that Wakanda pose that she did. I think God would want to me to write about these things in order for the public to see that both of them are folks that we shouldn't follow. We should follow the Most High, and realize that our true enemy aren't each other. They are the same one percent ruining the environment, ruining infrastructure, and promoting evil divisions in our land. As for black people, there are black people globally. I believe in Pan-African unity as a black American human being.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama gave a passionate speech about voting during this 2020 election. She wants people to vote for Joe Biden. This was her closing message to the American people. She said that Trump and his allies are stoking fears about Black and Brown Americans. She is right to call out Trump's actions as morally wrong and racist. She didn't sugarcoat the reality that we live in. She said that Trump has lied about minorities trying to destroy suburbs, and she said that Trump is dishonoring a peaceful movement for racial solidarity. Michelle Obama wanted people who are undecided to think about black people and our ancestors. Black Americans fought long and hard in this America. We contributed heavily in building up this nation, and we are entitled to not only justice but reparations. Michelle Obama wanted people to vote like their lives depend on it. We should vote. It may sound cliche but this 2020 election is the most important election of our lifetimes. There is no doubt about it. Our health care, our civil liberties, our civil rights, and our other fundamental rights are at stake.
Now, we know the truth. One White House physician from Walter Reed hospital refused to tell the press if Trump's lungs are damaged under the justification of "national security." The WHO outlined guidelines for the American people, but days ago Trump went on a joyride around Bethseda, Maryland. Trump maintains that he is getting better, and one doctor was caught downplaying the health condition of Trump. Now, many leading administration officials have the virus. The strange thing is that the White House is downplaying this information of a widespread epidemic of many people close to the President having the virus. Walter Reed has socialized medicine and the best medicine available for the President and his officials, but the average Americans with the virus struggle to survive without any comprehensive legislation. There are more people with the coronavirus in the White House than in New Zealand, Taiwan, and Vietnam combined. Kayleigh McEnany brief the press without wearing a mask, even after Trump tested positive. We know Trump received massive steroids and other medicines (like the antivrial medication of remdesivir) as a treatment. Trump wants to leave the hospital at 6:30 pm, but he is still contagious with the virus. Many Secret Service agents have denounced the parade as never should have happened. So, we want anyone with the coronavirus to recover 100 percent, but the American people are entitled to transparency and honesty revolving around this situation.
