Foreign Policy Issues in Late May 2026.

 

The King and Queen of the United Kingdom are visiting the British Embassy Garden Party in Washington, D.C. The American anthem was shown during the event. The King Charles and the Queen came to America for many reasons. One reason is that they want to celebrate the 250th year anniversary of the existence of America itself. Also, they wanted to improve the strained relationship between America and the UK. The UK has disagreed overtly with America on many issues from NATO, the Iranian War, and other foreign policy issues. America and the UK have many cultural connections. The King and Queen Camilla landed at Joint Base Andrews on April 27, 2026, being greeted by President Trump and Melania Trump. This is the first visit by a British Monarch to America since 2007. The Royals will visit New York City, Virginia, and other places. King Charles III will address Congress in the near future.

King Charles III gave his speech to Congress. He endorsed the NATO alliance, and supported Ukraine having the God given right to defend their nation against Putin's illegal invasion of Ukraine. You can't claim to oppose the illegal invasion of Iran or oppose the war in Gaza but endorse Russian illegal invasion in Ukraine. King Charles III wants America and the Uk to use rededication to promote service to each other. This comes after King Charles wants the authorities to deal with Prince Andrew being investigated by UK authorities. Prince Andrew has been accused by victims of sexually abusing human beings. King Charles has declined a meeting with Epstein survivors which is wrong, because the survivors should experience basic human respect. The government of UK has been more forthright than Trump on dealing with the Epstein files (as Trump once called the Epstein files a "hoax"). King Charles desires checks on executive power by citing the Magna Carta.

Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted over his IG post using a seashell post with numbers on it. Comey has been accused by the government of threatening the life of Trump. The DOJ is going on a war path to target people who disagree with Trump from Comey, Letitia James, and other prominent critiques of the Trump regime. Comey has been indicted for a 2nd time. It is a two count indictment. Comey said that he is opposed to violence of any time. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said that Comey knowingly and willingly made a threat against Trump. Blanche is following orders from his boss Trump. Trump is a narcissistic, racist, xenophobic, sexist, and wicked person who wants retribution and revenge not justice for all people. One evidence of that reality is how Trump wants to end birthright citizenship, end mail voting, and he endorses Muslim bans. Comey said that he will go to court to defend himself. James Comey said that he is innocent, he is not afraid, and he wants the trial to go forward. The values of democracy must be protected, and we are never afraid of fascism.

Many members of the corporate media, who coddle Trump, can't say that there is no place for political violence, when Trump is responsible for escalating brutal violence abroad and within the United States of America. That hypocrite in the White House lectures people on solutions but cuts funding to address gun violence and mental health issues. Trump and his aides have blamed many in the media for the attack which is a total lie. Trump used political violence to kill Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and many of his family members, advisers, and other government officials during the first say of the U.S. war with Iran. Trump being a threat to democracy is real by him using an effort to try to overturn the 2020 election and his war against immigrants (even legal migrants) that have left American citizens dead and many undocumented immigrants sent to internment camps nationwide. Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza have witnessed thousands of people murdered by the policies of that male in the White House. Today, many forces in the corporate world are exploiting the tragedy in the D.C. Hotel to suppress freedom of speech. We are clear to condemn the actions of Allen, because unjust violence has no place in the Universe. It is evil for Allen to shoot a gun against innocent human beings. We can peacefully express ourselves. The suspect is a coward, and he faces three federal charges. He should be punished and sent to prison, and we are reminded that our democracy must be protected too (we have the First Amendment right to dissent with Trumpism).

Right on schedule, Trump and his administration is trying to blame all progressives or Democrats collectively for the shooting incident in the D.C. hotel. Like always, the cowardly shooter has no justification in his behavior. He seems to be an extremist and wanted to use violence against Trump officials which is wrong. The shooter has leftist views, but all people of the left shouldn't be blamed for this tragedy. That is wrong. That is like blaming all Christians for the Maafa or blaming all Muslims for 9/11. It is the MAGA hypocrites who lecture people on condemning violence when Trump has glorified violence from him pardoning the violent January 6th insurrectionists to him supporting killing people in the Caribbean without due process of law (which is a war crime and murder. Trump is complicit in murder by endorsing this policy). Trump has mocked the violence done to Nancy Pelosi's husband. The vast majority of domestic terrorism done in American soil in the past 20 years have been done by far-right extremists and white racists. That is just reality. MAGA has coddled extremists for years from Loomer to Steve Bannon. So, the gunman Allen is a wicked person, and his actions have no justification. Allen's actions only provoke reactionaries to further oppress the people and pass authoritarian laws. Yet, you can't blame everyone on the Left for all barbaric actions in public. That's asinine and ignorant. Trump is a fascist and an authoritarian by seeking to ban mail in voting, desiring to have no immunity from his actions, calling Somalis slurs in a racist fashion, and desiring once to destroy all of Iranian civilization. Using free speech to oppose fascism and disagreeing with Trump's policies is never equivalent to Allen's evil deeds period.
