The hantavirus cases have increased in many nations. Many countries are fighting to contain the outbreak. We heard of this virus on a cruise ship. The bad news is that the hantavirus is more deadly than COVID-19. The good news is that the hantavirus doesn't spread as rapidly as COVID-19. Yet, people should be vigilant to know the risks and composition of the hantavirus. The hantavirus is a severe rodent-borne disease that rarely spreads among human beings. Hantavirus is mainly contracted by breathing in aerosolized particles infected rodent droppings, urine, or saliva. Hantavrius can have a high mortality rate as high about ca. 38-40 percent, compared to an estimated 0.5 to 3% for COVID-19. Hantavirus can take 1-6 weeks to appear. As of May 2026, there are no licensed vaccines for the hantavirus. Symptoms of the virus include fever, fatigue, muscle aches, headache, and dry cough. Hopefully, the hantavirus won't lead into another pandemic.
The Tennessee House has passed a plan to gerrymander a black district in trying to get rid of it. One Judge denies the request to return the 2020 ballot siezed from Fulton, County. This will cause the DOJ to push the Trump lie that the 2020 election was stolen. Trump has spoken about federal control of federal elections which is illegal as only state and local authorities control elections. In Tennessee and starting in South Carolina, the GOP is trying to end true black representation in voting district. This has nothing to do with some fairness. This has to do with pure racism, pure hatred of democracy, and the agenda of the far right to eliminate true voting rights. This rush by the GOP is done to trample the rights of black people in the South and voters of every color who oppose Trumpism. This comes before the November 2026 midterms. The Supreme Court is complicit in allowing the gutting Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. This GOP gerrymandering in the South is done illegally without voter input and without a referendum. Republicans in many states of the South want consolidation of Republican power in state legislatures. This will cause a disenfranchisement of voters as the Louisiana governor illegally halted an election. Black voters are being targeted of their voting rights in Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, and other states, but some people are silent. We know the reason. Yet, we won't be silent. We will continue to speak up and stand up for our God-given right to vote and the rest of our human plus democratic rights too.
We must always defend our freedoms. In America in 2026 (not 1826), racism is shown openly with many people trying to justify it. We have in America now, enemy forces who try to suppress black history from books to legal museums. We have many people who exploit religion (when they go against true morality) as an excuse to target plus scapegoat margainalized communities in the guise of "patriotism." We have overt fascism and authoritarianism in America with detention centers housing migrants, with black votes being denied fair representation, with the military occupying our streets months ago, and the Supreme Court doing Trump's dirty work. So, we are in a crossroads in our nation's history. This is the worse political crisis in the United States of America since the American Civil War. This is not hyperbole. This is reality. When a wicked person in the White House supports murdering people in the Caribbean without due process of law (which is murder), then we have a problem of morality among that resident in the White House and his acolytes who deify him in a blasphemous fashion. Sellouts like Alex Jones and Jason Whitlock disgrace themselves too with allying with the MAGA movement.
FBI raids have happened against Louise Lucas in Virginia. She led the redistricting push in Virginia. I'm from Virginia and from the 757. We know Lucas for a long time. Lucas is one of the most popular and progressive political leaders in the 757 at Hampton Roads, Virginia. This is obviously an attack on Louise Lucas based on Lucas's political views. Louise Lucas has promoted a legal referendum in Virginia to promote fair representation in the state legislature. This is part of political persecution. Trump and his minions have attacked journalists, politicians, voting leaders, etc. While this is going on, FBI Director Patel gives agents his personalized Bourbon. The FBI raiding the office of Louise Lucas is about Trump going after institutions and people who want to defend democracy. This is not shocking as Trump has an anti-democratic mentality by desiring to ban mail in voting, seeking to harm democratic rights, and suppress birthright citizenship. This fascist plan is promoted by Project 2025. DOGE has already fired innocent federal workers without just cause. FBI Director Kash Patel is under scrutiny because of his behavior.
Polls show that most Americans believe that Trump is untrustworthy involving his economic claims. Also, I see many of these so-called "prophets" still defending Trump. Many of them just don't defend Trump. Some of them claim that any critique of any policy of Trump is equivalent to going against God which is wrong and evil. Even one defender of Trump, Troy Black (who make views claiming prophecies of the future) conceded that God doesn't approve of some of the things that Trump has done. That was shocking, because I wouldn't expect him to say such a comment. Trump calling Hakeem Jeffriers a thug (who is a black man who is not thug) is anti-Christ as regardless of how you think about Hakeem's policies; his human dignity should not be disrespected. Trump cursed out peaceful NFL protesters when Jesus didn't use such language to describe his followers. Jesus told a story to help the immigrant and sojourner, but Trump has called Somali immigrants in America "garbage." Jesus Christ was steadfast to defend children, but Trump once called the Epstein files a hoax. Jesus Christ helped and healed the sick, but Trump allowed his law to strip healthcare from millions of Americans plus cut SNAP benefits. Jesus Christ asked people to forgive others, but Trump said that he hates his enemies and admitted that he doesn't ask God for forgiveness for anything that he has done. Trump once threatened to destroy the Iranian civilization when Jesus Christ never threatened to exterminate a whole civilization. Therefore, we must be steadfast in our faith and to stand up against evil. We have a clear vision to do the right thing and without apology.
