More May 2026 Updates.

2026 was one of the important years in human history. It is the year of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America (with the signing of the Declaration of Independence from the British Empire). January 1, 2026, was when Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as the 112th Mayor of New York City, being the first Muslim and Asian American to be mayor of New York City too. Books, films, and other works published in 1930 enter the public domain. Also, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting voted to dissolve itself. There was the killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis, Minnesota by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer. By January 2026, the U.S. launched a military raid in Venezuela that captured its president, Nicolas Maduro. The measles outbreak continues in America with more than 2,500 cases are reported nationally in America. In February 2026, the U.S. launched a major attack on Iran with Israel with the stated goal of regime change, killing its leader Ali Khamenei. Domestically, the US underwent two partial government shutdowns, with the first lasting four days, from January 31 to February 3, and the second lasting approximately 76 days, from February 14 to April 30, becoming the longest government shutdown in U.S. history and impacting the US Department of Homeland Security, with the core issue regarding the funding of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In addition, 2026 saw the first major judicial actions against prediction markets, in particular Kalshi and the usage of its platform and other prediction markets to bypass state regulations on sports betting, with Nevada being the first to land a court-enforced ban of Kalshi and Arizona being the first to file criminal charges against Kalshi. In science and technology, the most prominent story so far has been the April 2026 NASA mission Artemis II, the first crewed deep-space mission since 1972. Artemis II sent four astronauts—including the first woman, black person, and Canadian—to circumnavigate the Moon. On April 28, 2026, Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted on federal charges of threatening the president due to a social media post that he made in May 2025 with seashells and numbers. In May 8, 2026, the Pentagon released declassified documents about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Planned events include the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico from June to July; and the 2026 midterms in November.

There are tons of geographic landforms in the Earth. We have mountains being high, rocky areas that rise steeply above the surrounding land. They are often formed by tectonic activity as tectonic plates globally are a large part of the Earth's geological history. There are plateaus which are large, flat, or gently rolling areas of land that are significantly higher than the surrounding terrain. There are plains which are broad, flat stretches of land that are usually low in elevation compared to the surrounding area. Hills are elevated sections of land that are smaller and less steep than mountains. There are coastal landforms too. Valleys and canyons are low lying, often steep walled areas formed by erosion from rivers or glaciers. Valleys have depressions between mountains or hill, often containing a river. Peninsulas are lands surrounding by water on most of its sides. One example is how Hampton and Newport News is in a peninsula region of Hampton Roads, Virginia (757). There are deltas or fan shaped landforms created by the deposition of sediment at the mouth of a river. There are unique lands forms like an archipelago or a collection of islands, atoll being a ring shaped coral reef, and a bay being a recessed, coastal body of water connected to an ocean or lake. A coral reef is an outcrop of rock in the sea formed by the growth and deposite of stony coral skeletons. Landforms are formed by two main forces. One is endogenic processes or internal, tectonic forces that push up mountains and build terrain. Exogenic processes are external forces, such as wind, water, and ice erosion, that wear down the shape the landscape over time.

Between World War I and World War II, many happenings existed in Christianity. By 1914, there was the Welsh Church Act of 1914 being in existence. In 1914, Paul Olaf Bodding completed his translation of the Bible into the Santali language of South Asia. Ellen G. White, the co-founder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church passed away in 1915. Seventh Day Adventists have been debated in Christian churches for a long time. The cult leader Father Divine (who called himself God which is an overt action of blasphemy) grew his powerful movement by the 1910's. 1917 was when many Catholics claimed that Marian apparition took place at Fatima, Portugal (or Mary appeared to children to outline a vision of the future). Now, we respect Mary as being one of the saints of God who sacrificed and inspired humanity in many positive ways. Yet, we don't worship Mary or venerate her. She should be respected and honored as one of God's chosen people, but she shouldn't be venerated. Communists killed Tsar Nicholas III, and his wife in 1918. Those, who were killed, were Orthodox Christians. The KFUO (AM) had the first religious radio station in America by 1924. The Scopes Trial happened in 1925. The trial ended to allow the teachings of Darwinian revolution to be taught in public school. Evolution teaches that natural forces caused all life to exist on Earth spanning billions of years via natural selection and common ancestors. Christians have diverse views of evolution. Some reject evolution outright in believing in young Earth creationism or old Earth creationism. Some believe in the gap theory of gradual creation over billions of years. Some believe in theistic evolution or God allowing evolution to take place over the eons of time. The controversial Caughlin grew his platform on the radio by the 1920s. He spread his message to once supporting fascists and made anti-Semitic remarks (while denying being anti-Semitic). WWI saw Christians and non-Christians alike fighting among all sides. The Allied Forces defeated the Central Powers at the end of WWI. WWII was much different with more bloodshed, more evil, and an important victory for the Allied Powers. Adolf Hitler was a baptized Roman Catholic who was never excommunicated from the Catholic Church. Yet, Hitler and the Nazis murdered Catholics, Protestants, Jewish people, non-Jewish people, the Roma people, black people, biracial people, LGBTQIA2S+ people, Freemasons, and other human beings. Nazism is antithetical to Christianity, because Nazism hates their neighbors (who are not people of white Northern Europeans), it promoted murder, it used unjust violence against innocent people, and it violated basic human plus democratic rights. I want to make that point perfectly clear.

By 1945, times were changing at the end of World War II. Christianity, the religious world in general, and the secular world saw tons of technological advancements in sanitation, engineering, travel, industry, education, health, and other aspects of human living. We saw massive international spiritual growth with the spreading of the Gospel from the Americas to the Motherland of Africa. Also, we saw cultural and social changes in the world. There have been legitimate movements that change the world positively like the Civil Rights Movement, the woman's rights movement, and the environmental rights movement. 1948 was the year of the creation of the modern nation of Israel. Regardless of how one feels about the policies of the government of Israel, this historic event has major significance in world history. Also, we witnessed the increase of the power of the Ecumenical Movement (which has been funded by elitist organizations like the CFR, the Bilderberg Group, the Knights of Malta, high level Freemasonry, the Trilateral Commission, the Pilgrim Society, etc.) that desire Christians to compromise their core religious views to follow the great nefarious myth that all religions (even polytheism and Satanism) are legitimate pathways to the one true God of the Universe. The Ecumenical Movement is pernicious, powerful, and influential, but believers in God have stood up against its false doctrines for years and decades. The age of the Laodicean era is filled with compromise, wickedness, and deception (from the Prosperity Gospel to the freak off parties that existed for millennia). The good news is that the current Laodicean era still has a remnant standing up for righteousness, justice, love, and God's mercy ins desiring people to be saved from sin and evil. Goodness always prevails in the end.

Hantavirus evacuations have begun. We have COVID, the nonovirus, and now hantavirus. 17 U.S. passengers head to a Nebraska quarantine site. The W.H.O. wants a 42-day quarantine for all people with hantavirus. The hantavirus is not COVID, but it is not a game. It is a serious virus that can possibly spread rapidly. As for Iran, Centcom reported that over 20 U.S. warships are enforcing the Strait of Hormuz. Even if the Iranian war ends now, the oil crisis may continue worldwide for months. Some scholars believe that this energy crisis is worse than the one back in the 1970s, because the blockade deals with oil, plastics, and other necessary supplies globally that people need. The U.S. and Iran are continuing in negotiations, but Trump refuses to budge that much.
