Open Attacks on Our Democracy by the Trump regime.

California Governor Newsom said that Trump wants to attack democracy. Immigration raids have expanded into California farms like in Ventura County, California. This will cause the food supply to be harmed in California and nationwide. Many migrants will refuse to go to work. This is part of Trump's hubris. ICE protests continue. The mayor of Oxnard, California is opposed to these ICE raids as causing fear and causing harm to the economy of California. I have distant cousins in Oxnard, California. The lie from Trump, Hegseth, and MAGA members is that every migrant who is undocumented is equivalent to a national security threat to American society. They are not. The dehumanization of immigrants, especially undocumented immigrants and legal residents, is part and parcel of the Trump administration's playbook. Polls shows that about 85 percent of all Americans oppose the mass deportation of undocumented immigrants who are working their jobs regularly in American society or have child who live in America. It's messed time in American society when a tyrant defies the word of Governor Newsom and the Mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, who don't want the National Guard to be placed in Los Angeles. There is no other way to put it. Now, Trump wants to hypocritically not deport all migrant farmworkers.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott deploying the National Guard on protests in Texas is about suppressing dissent in American society. Hegseth refused to answer the question of if he supports using drones and military forces to arrest American citizens. The Pentagon defends the usage of the Marines supporting ICE raids. Trump wants to make the military to make a police force which is unconstitutional. The civilian people should control the military. The military was created to protect America from foreign attacks and other duties. One Sister Congresswoman LaMonica McIver was arrested and charged with a three-count indictment recently for forcibly impeding and interfering with federal officers according to U.S. Attorney Habba. Congresswoman McIver never intentionally tried to stop the acts of federal officers, but she wanted to escape from being crowded by people. A judge decided that Trump must not use the National Guard without the Governor of California's permission. Trump has appealed the decision.

We tried to warn people for years about the Trump regime being fascist and authoritarianism. Many people didn't believe us until now. Recently Senator Padilla of California desired to ask the Department of Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem (who lied on FOX News saying that Senator Padilla didn't identify himself) a question about immigration. Senator Padilla was never violent, and he didn't threaten anyone. He identified himself, but Noem sent the police and FBI to allow Senator Padilla to be handcuffed and forcibly removed from the DHS Secretary presser. He was violently mistreated in an unjust way. This attack on a Senator represents an attack on dissent and democracy in America. The Trump regime is out of control who wants Marines in the streets, who pardons January 6th insurrectionist terrorists, and has deported people without due process of law. ICE has racially targeted migrants, harassed people (even who are legal residents), and done other lawless actions nationwide beyond just California. If the Trump regime can do this to a United States Senator, no one is safe. Therefore, we to take a stand for our rights, especially our right to protest as found in the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen to Padilla, and most Republicans in Congress are silent. We honor the co-equal powers, the rule of law, human equality plus justice for all, and the separation of powers too. Our dignity matters, and our humanity matters.

Open xenophobia is what Trump and his acolyte Stephen Miller believe in. Recently, Stephen Miller and the Department of Homeland Security supported a racist poster of Uncle Sam saying "Report all foreign invaders" to ICE. The migrants and immigrants suffering in America are not foreign invaders. They are human beings. The dehumanization of immigrants, regardless of their immigration status, is the essence of the evil found in American society. This is white racist propaganda. ICE has been targeting laborers at Home Depot, elementary schools, farms, and other locations. The poster image was originally created by a white racist. This language is similar to the language of Nazi Germany. The image was made by an X user who has the handle of "Mr. Robert." He posts fascists and racist language with usage of the n word. He is allied by open neo-Nazis, white nationalists, and anti-semites. For Stephen Miller to advance the propaganda of a white racist's posters shows his real colors and white sheet. Trump's lies shown at his Fort Bragg speech should make us aware to oppose the policies of tyrants. Now, Israel has attack Iran in multiple strikes in claiming to target what they claim are nuclear development locations. Netanyahu admitted that they have killed scientists and other Iranian political leaders.

Some breaking sad news is that Ananda Lewis passed away today at the age of 52 years old on June 11, 2025. She was more than a television host. She was a role model for so many people because of her strength and dignity. I used to watch her talk show The Ananda Lewis show plenty of times before. We know her being on MTV as a veejay from the late 1990s until 2001. She was born in Los Angeles, California. People in our generation (who are Older Millennials like me and younger Generation X people) knew her as a cultural icon. Ananda Lewis had a glorious light displaying joy, compassion, and empathy towards human beings. She was a carpenter too. Her mother, grandmother, and sister gave her guidance. Also, she was a great friend to the singer Aaliyah. She loved her husband Harry Smith and their son. She succumbed to breast cancer. She wanted people to get mammograms early on as this is important. Ananda Lewis' passing is sad, and we are reminded how fragile life is. We send condolences to the family and friends of Ananda Lewis.

Rest in Power Sister Ananda Lewis.
