Political News in the Late June of 2025.

The ceasefire has been announced by Donald Trump, and there is a dispute on whether Israel or Iran has followed the ceasefire agreement, which has been negotiated by Qatar too. Reports mentioned that Israeli warplanes have bombed Iran on Monday, and Israel has accused Iran of bombing Israel. Trump has used profanity to have a disgust of both Israel and Iran. For 12 days, Iran has been attacked massively by Israel. Israel has murdered over 20 Iranian military and civilian leaders, including Major General Hossein Salami, commander of Iran's armed forces. The U.S. dropped 14 massive bombs on three key Iranian nuclear installations. Israel has been attacked too and innocent Israeli civilians have died as well. Iran fired missiles at U.S. bases in Qatar and Iraq just before Trump announced his ceasefire declaration. The Israeli genocide in Gaza continued with Israeli forces killing 43 people in a 24 hour period according to Gaza's Health Ministry. Over 56,000 Palestinians have died (and activists say that there is a starvation policy in Gaza too) without Israeli hostages being released after the evil Hamas attack against Israel. There is another former DOJ whistleblower who mentioned that Trump desires to defy courts that oppose his agenda in profanity laced terms.

The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to continue with its deportation program. This program allows accused migrants to leave America to be deported to dangerous countries lacking in due process rights. Many of the conservative justices agreed with this move and the liberal justices have shown overt dissents. For months, the Trump administration want undocumented immigrants and other migrants to be sent overseas under any pretext that they desire without a hearing or due process of law. Most of the Supreme Court has rubber stamped the Trump administration's anti-immigrant agenda. That means that immigrants who are deported by the Trump regime and potentially go to certain nations filled with torture and death. The decision was 6-3. The far right majority offered no justification for its action. Once, a Boston federal judge Brian Murphy issued a stay, then the Department of Homeland Security flew the migrants to a U.S. military base in Djibouti, where they have been detained in a shipping container pending appeal. The dissenting opinion has been expressed by Justice Sonia Sotomayor and joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

As usual, Joe Scarborough justifies Trump's bombing of Iran by saying that previous Presidents would have done the same thing. He is incorrect as President Barack Obama had an Iranian nuclear deal and never attacked Iran directly. President Biden never attacked Iran directly with bombers. Even former President George W. Bush never attacked Iran directly, and he called Iran as part of the "Axis of Evil." As a result of Trump's actions, the DHS has warned of a heightened threat against Americans overseas and in America. The resident of the White House is putting the lives of Americans including U.S. military members at risk. Joe Scarborough is the far-right conservative who wrote a book justifying Harry Truman using atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki which was evil and part of war crimes. Scarborough defends Winston Churchill, who was a stone cold racist and imperialist who believed in Anglo-Saxon white supremacy. Churchill was right to oppose the Nazis, but his other views caused him to be voted out of office in the United Kingdom. We don't need isolationism as advocated by many MAGA cultists and we don't need neo-conservative imperialism. We need true diplomacy, international cooperation, foreign aid sent to countries, legitimate alliances, and true resolutions to solve foreign policy issues in a constructive fashion.

The truth is that we are right. President Obama made a historic Iranian nuclear agreement. It was working. Later, Trump came along to abandon the agreement when it was working. After Trump left the agreement, Iran left the deal too. Later, the Gaza genocide took place (against Palestinian people), and Israel with the far-right President Benjamin Netanyahu promoted strikes in Iran. Netanyahu attacked Iran preemptively. Now, we have Iranian and Israeli innocent civilian dead as a product of a rogue foreign policy agenda of Trump and Netanyahu. The U.S. strikes against Iran have no legal or moral justification. Recently, Iran used an attack on a U.S. military base in Qatar. The good news is that no one was killed by that attack. The bad news is that American lives continue to be at risk from the reckless actions of 2 men who care more for their ego and prestige than true peace in the Middle East among people of every color, creed, and background. Trump did his action without true consultation to Congress in a comprehensive fashion. There wasn't even a War Powers Act involved. It was totally initiated by him. The vast majority of Americans (in about 60 percent according to a recent poll) oppose an American military intervention against Iran.

Many of my distant cousins do live in Hampton, Virginia. Hampton is found in the Peninsula region of Hampton Roads or the 757.
