Summer 2026
Summer represents vacations, renewal of purpose, hot weather, and seeking a focus on truth plus justice. The times of the globe may change culturally and musically, but the unvarnished truth will always remain. During the middle part of the year, it is only fitting to mention the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. For us (who are Americans), it has been long journey indeed. We have lived through wars, social movements, triumphs, and a pandemic that changed the world forevermore during the 2020s. America now is in another crossroads where we have the evil forces of reaction and fascism vs. the forces of democracy. The question is whether we shall see America thrive with justice, equality, and democracy or end with a permanent authoritarian state. Time will tell. Only God knows the complete future 100 percent. Therefore, it is our right and responsibility to keep the faith and to do what is right for a sincere motivation. Right now, we have big deceptions not just found in Scientology, the Jehovah Witness, the New Age movement, Putin, etc. Probably the greatest political deception in human history is the MAGA movement. We know this by its fruits. MAGA's fruits are filled with violence, division, racism, sexism, xenophobia, deception, a cabinet filled with unqualified people (while Hegseth unjustly and hypocritically fire black people and women military leaders for no legitimate reason). MAGA believes that God is a Christian nationalist when the Bible is very clear that the Kingdom of God is not of this world. Believers are filled with tons of people irrespective of nationality. Trump wants control over the media to promote a Big Brother system where his views are only praised without legitimate critique, ICE agents to harass voters in poll locations, and continued murder of people in the Caribbean without due process. This is nothing more than overt 21st century fascism. In this era of the knowledge explosion as predicted by the prophet Daniel, we must use our discernment to follow what is right.
Recently, Nick Cannon and Amber Rose agreed with each other to say that the Democratic Party is the party of the Klan and Democrats don't care about black people. Amber Rose and Nick Cannon said the lie that Trump is an admirable person? The truth is obvious. Racism is not limited by party. There are racists who are Republicans and Democrats spanning centuries. Yet, the system of racism existed long before both parties existed. Trump is not an admirable person by him mocking people with disabilities, for mocking soldiers by calling them "suckers and losers," calling Congressional leader Mitch McConnel's wife a racist slur, calling Somalis "garbage," saying perverted comments about his own daughter, and going about to call black progressives "low IQ." These are the actions of a racist not a hero. Amber Rose and Nick Cannon omit historical truths. The truth is that the Democratic Party didn't create the Klan. The Klan was created in Tennessee by six Confederate veterans on December 24, 1865. The Klan raped, assaulted, and murdered innocent black people and other human beings too. Back in the 19th century, many Democratic members supported the Klan, and many Republicans were progressive (like the Radical Republicans of the Reconstruction era) as that is why back then black Americans supported the Republicans. The Republican Abraham Lincoln was an economic progressive by investing in federal government money to build the telegraph, create homestead, and use Greenbacks to increase economic development. That changed by the 20th century. By the days between the New Deal era and the 1960s Civil Rights Movement, many Democrats supported civil rights and racial justice while many Republicans supported the Southern Strategy, voter suppression laws, austerity, and other evils. Therefore, no one party has a monopoly of virtue, but by the 21st century, the GOP is dominated by the racist, sexist, and xenophobic agenda of Trumpism, and the Democratic Party has tons of members opposed to that agenda. Trump has tried to get rid of black museum programs, wants mail in voting to be banned, supports an unjust Iranian war, and pardoned January 6th terrorists, but Amber Rose and Nick Cannon have the nerve to glorify Trump (and the MAGA movement). So, parties can change ideology over time. The Democratic Party of 2026 is not equivalent to the 19th century Democratic Party. The Republican Party of 2026 that embraces Trump is not the same Republican Party of the 19th century. This is not shocking as Amber Rose is a sellout (who recently said that white people should be allowed to say the n word), and Nick Cannon is intimidated by the establishment.
There was a recent shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. One suspect fired at the dinner, and we condemn this action. No matter what someone is going through, there is absolutely no excuse for anyone to use unjust violence against innocent human life or innocent property. We can agree to disagree on issues peacefully without being violently disagreeable. During the commotion after the shots, many people hid under tables and chairs, Secret Service agents and police officers ran to detain the cowardly shooter, and people were scared for their lives. The suspect will be arranged on Monday. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance were rushed out of the White House Correspondents' Dinner by Secret Service agents as the agents did the right thing. The shooter worked as a California teacher, and he is from Torrance, California. He was armed with knives too. CNN's Wolf Blitzer was a witness to the situation, and he was a few feet away from the gunman. The shooter is Cole Tomas Allen, being 31 years old. Allen shot at a Secret Service agent, and that agent survived by the bulletproof vest. There will be investigations about security and other issues by the federal government, Congress, local authorities, etc. At the end of the day, we will not be intimidated by nefarious shooters or evil people who desire violence to be the order of the day. People have the right to express their First Amendment rights without being subjected to this wicked violence. We will not be fearful of evil. We will oppose terrorism and defend free speech, irrespective of a person's ideological views.
The Philadelphia Era
One of the most important ages of Christian history was the Philadelphia Age which lasted from 1750 to 1945. This was the time when the Gospel started to spread rapidly in the world from the Americas to Australia. This time saw preachers, spiritual leaders, and regular believers standing up against slavery, imperialism, poverty, human trafficking in general, illiteracy, and other complications. This era saw the Bible being translated into tons of languages (like English, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese languages, Hindu, German, Greek, Arabic, Swahili, etc.) and the expansion of the understanding of the sciences (like geology, electricity, physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, sociology, psychology, etc.). That time witnessed civil wars, global wars (like World War One and World War Two), the growth of modern evangelism, and the new social, political, and economic movements spreading internationally. The irony is that by the end of the era of Philadelphia saw the end of the brutal, wicked, and imperialistic European Empires of the world (that brought slavery, rape, genocide, sexism, xenophobia, economic exploitation, and other atrocities in the world). The victims of these empires range in the millions of human lives. The Gospel remains very powerful to give human beings light and hope to witness a better tomorrow by the compassionate grace of God. Whereas colonialists believed in racial bigotry, the Gospel desires all to be saved regardless of color or background. Whereas imperialists wanted domination and exploitation of the poor, the Gospel wanted respect and dignity given to the poor. Whereas, wicked people wanted anti-Semitism, the Gospel recognized the contributions of Jewish people in the world (as all books of the Bible were written by Jewish people except for Job and Luke). The age of Philadelphia saw the ending of many evils, but it wasn't all peaches and cream. Racism, colonialism, sexism, etc. flourished back then along with cultural revolutionaries trying to end these injustices. After this age, was the controversial and compromising Laodicean age of Church history. During the end, good will triumph against evil. That is pure fact.
Revival and Great Awakenings
By the year of 1741, George Frederick Handel performed his classical gospel oratorio "Messiah" for the first time. Isaac Newton promoted his heresies by 1754. Sir Isaac Newton was involved in mysticism, he didn't believe in the Trinity, and he believed that a code in the Bible shown secrets and mysteries. The historic suppression of the Jesuits existed from 1767 to 1815. This was done by the Pope in 1773, because many European Catholic monarchs in Portugal, France, and Spain accused the Jesuits as being a threat to state sovereignty (as the Jesuits by that time had large wealth, influence, independence, and direct loyalty to the Pope). The Jesuits were accused of financial scandals, opposing colonial treating, and inciting popular uprising like the Motin de Esquilache in Spain. The Greek Orthodox colony of 1768 in New Smyrna, Florida was founded. We saw the growth of mysticism and deism from Reimarus. There was the first Catholic mission in California by 1769 by the Mission San Diego de Alcala. We have a growing criticism of Christianity by authors like Gibbon's The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire from 1776 to 1788. There was the Catholic Mission Dolores formed in San Francisco. There was the 1779 Virginia Statue for Religious Freedom mentioning the following words:
"...An act for establishing religious Freedom.
Whereas, Almighty God hath created the mind free;
That all attempts to influence it by temporal punishments or burthens, or by civil incapacitations tend only to beget habits of hypocrisy and meanness, and therefore are a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, who being Lord, both of body and mind yet chose not to propagate it by coercions on either, as was in his Almighty power to do,
That the impious presumption of legislators and rulers, civil as well as ecclesiastical, who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavouring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world and through all time;
That to compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions, which he disbelieves is sinful and tyrannical;
That even the forcing him to support this or that teacher of his own religious persuasion is depriving him of the comfortable liberty of giving his contributions to the particular pastor, whose morals he would make his pattern, and whose powers he feels most persuasive to righteousness, and is withdrawing from the Ministry those temporary rewards, which, proceeding from an approbation of their personal conduct are an additional incitement to earnest and unremitting labours for the instruction of mankind;
That our civil rights have no dependence on our religious opinions any more than our opinions in physics or geometry,
That therefore the proscribing any citizen as unworthy the public confidence, by laying upon him an incapacity of being called to offices of trust and emolument, unless he profess or renounce this or that religious opinion, is depriving him injuriously of those privileges and advantages, to which, in common with his fellow citizens, he has a natural right,
That it tends only to corrupt the principles of that very Religion it is meant to encourage, by bribing with a monopoly of worldly honours and emoluments those who will externally profess and conform to it;
That though indeed, these are criminal who do not withstand such temptation, yet neither are those innocent who lay the bait in their way;
That to suffer the civil magistrate to intrude his powers into the field of opinion and to restrain the profession or propagation of principles on supposition of their ill tendency is a dangerous fallacy which at once destroys all religious liberty because he being of course judge of that tendency will make his opinions the rule of judgment and approve or condemn the sentiments of others only as they shall square with or differ from his own;
That it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order;
And finally, that Truth is great, and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them:
Be it enacted by General Assembly that no man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief, but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of Religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge or affect their civil capacities. And though we well know that this Assembly elected by the people for the ordinary purposes of Legislation only, have no power to restrain the acts of succeeding Assemblies constituted with powers equal to our own, and that therefore to declare this act irrevocable would be of no effect in law; yet we are free to declare, and do declare that the rights hereby asserted, are of the natural rights of mankind, and that if any act shall be hereafter passed to repeal the present or to narrow its operation, such act will be an infringement of natural right..."
Jesus never coerced anyone to follow him, and the imposition of a religion by government officials is impious. We see the First Amendment of the United States Constitution of 1791 mentioning that: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The First Great Awakening lasted from the 1730s to 1770s. It was massive wave of Evangelical Protestant revivalism in the American colonies. Many people preached and promoted personal emotional conversion over formal, intellectual dogma. It was led by preachers like George Whitefield, Theodore Frelinghuysen and The Tennent Family, and Jonathan Edwards. It challenged religious authority and split established denominations like Old Lights vs. New Lights. It grown Baptists and Methodists in America and worldwide. The First Great Awakening dealt with people being born again rather than relying on clergy for salvation, it promoted equality before God regardless of race, gender, or status. It promoted heartfelt piety. It was caused by religious fervor and a response of the Enlightenment being too cold in the eyes of many people. It helped to democratize church structure and helped to promote the independent spirit of the American Revolution. It included women and black people in religious life. It caused the creation of new universities like Princeton, Rutgers, and Dartmouth.
The Second Great Awakening was another religious revival that spread from 1790 to the early 19th century. It dealt with personal salvation among the Protestant moved. It dealt with massive outdoor revivals which is commonplace in our time. Preachers like Charles G. Finney, who were involved in the Second Great Awakening stepped away from strict predestination to promote free will and the ability of every person to choose salvation. Western New York state had many revivals. Methodists and Baptists grew. The 2nd Great Awakening inspired new groups to exists like the Adventists, Mormons, and Christian Restorationist movements. Many people in the Second Great Awakening followed abolition or ending slavery, temperance (to reduce or not drink alcohol), and promote education and women's rights. Many women were leaders of the awakening. Also, Many African Americans were part of the Second Great Awakening like the African American Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church which played a large role in the anti-slavery movement. This movement came after the murder of former Mason William Morgan. Scholars believe that Masons murdered William Morgan for revealing Masonic secrets. Many members of the 2nd Great Awakening disagreed with Freemasonry and formed the Anti-Masonic Party which was popular in American society for years. The Second Awakening helped to promote social change.
The Age of Revolutions
During the late 1700s and the 19th century, it was an age of massive revolutions in the world. Christians were in the middle of that era too. The Revolutions were led by people who opposed authoritarian monarchs and desired republican or democratic forms of government. Some revolutionaries were more militant than others. In America, the American Revolution existed by the late 1700s. Back then, the British Empire had the most powerful empire on Earth. It had colonies from Asia, Africa, and to America. The American colonists had to pay taxes to the British (after the French and Indian War), and some colonists wanted representation in the British government. King George III refused to do so, so some colonists rebelled and fought the British Empire that led into the American Revolutionary War. We already know that many people on both sides of the war were Freemasons, members of the Hell Fire Club, members of British intelligence, etc. George Washington and Benjamin Franklin were Masons. Also, there was both an occult influence in early America and a strong Christian presence in early America too. John Wesley and George Whitfield were strong evangelists who spread the gospel in America. The growth of Congregational, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Baptist Churches existed in part by the Great Awakening. By 1787, about two thirds of the three million people of the United States were professing Christians. William Carey and Samuel J. Mills were prominent missionaries. Many missionaries did good to fight corruption, but some were agents of European colonization that exploited the name of God in order to control black people and other persons of color in the world. The worldwide missionary movement was powerful with the British and Foreign Bible Society being formed in 1804, American Board of Missions formed in 1810, Wesleyans creating Sierra Leon Mission, and many missionaries going to India, South Africa, Madagascar, Burma, etc. While many Freemasons were involved in Revolutions in America, Mexico, France, and other places, many Christians grew in influence to fight slavery and other evils from Harriet Tubman to William T. Still.
More on the 19th Century
By 1828, the Plymouth Brethen was created and promoted Dispensationalism (or the view history is divided into many ages which God deals with believers and non-believers in different ways. Most followers of Dispensationalism follow a literal interpretation of the Bible, says that Christians aren't bound by Mosaic Law, and believe in the Tribulation, the Rapture plus the Second Coming of Jesus Christ). Dispensationalists revolutionize prophecy movements in Christianity with Pierre Poiret, John Nelson Darby, Dwight L. Moody, James Inglis, James Hall Brookes, and the Niagara Bible Conference. Charles Finney promoted revivals in the Second Great Awakening in America by 1830. As time goes on, false prophets existed like many Millerites, Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and other people. The Southern Baptist Convention was created in Augusta, Georgia. By the 1800s, Roman Catholics claim Marian apparitions all over Europe and the world. Like always, we praise Mary as heroic human being who sacrificed her life for the growth of the Gospel, but Mary should never be venerated or worshiped. Missionaries grew worldwide by the 1800s too. The heresy of Immaculate Conception was embraced by the Catholic Church in 1854. In 1859, Ashbel Green Simonton, missionary, arrived in Brazil and founds Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil, the oldest Brazilian Protestant denomination. From 1869–1870, the Catholic First Vatican Council asserted the doctrine of Papal Infallibility which is blasphemy (that false doctrine was rejected by Christian Catholic Church of Switzerland). During the American Civil War, many Christians fought for the Union side to defeat the Confederate enemy, including black Christians. People should always remember that the Confederate Constitution condoned slavery and many Confederate leaders believed in the lie of black inferiority. The Confederates started the American Civil War by illegally firing at Fort Sumter, South Carolina (which is a Union owned fort). Later, we saw the rise of the Moody Bible Institute created in 1886, the Christian flag created in Brooklyn, New York City in 1897, and the Gideons International founded in 1899 to spread the Gospel via Bibles globally. I remembered in middle school when Gideons International members passed out Bibles (of the New Testament, Proverbs, and Psalms) to students after school.
The Age of 2 World Wars
Between World War I and World War II, many happenings existed in Christianity. By 1914, there was the Welsh Church Act of 1914 being in existence. In 1914, Paul Olaf Bodding completed his translation of the Bible into the Santali language of South Asia. Ellen G. White, the co-founder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church passed away in 1915. Seventh Day Adventists have been debated in Christian churches for a long time. The cult leader Father Divine (who called himself God which is an overt action of blasphemy) grew his powerful movement by the 1910's. 1917 was when many Catholics claimed that Marian apparition took place at Fatima, Portugal (or Mary appeared to children to outline a vision of the future). Now, we respect Mary as being one of the saints of God who sacrificed and inspired humanity in many positive ways. Yet, we don't worship Mary or venerate her. She should be respected and honored as one of God's chosen people, but she shouldn't be venerated. Communists killed Tsar Nicholas III, and his wife in 1918. Those, who were killed, were Orthodox Christians. This time was part of the Communist Revolution. The Tsars brutalized the serfs and other people in Russia using massive oppressive tactics. That is why the Communists rose up to defeat the Czar system. Communism is a rival political and economic system that grew in part because of the excesses and wickedness of imperialism and colonialism. I understand why people become communists in opposition to economic, political, and social tyranny (that has been promoted by laissez faire capitalism), but communism is not for me. The reason is that communism suppresses the power of the individual to the extreme (as individual and collective power as a place in building up society), and Stalinist Communism makes humans as cogs in the wheel of the state lacking in individuality and true power (as humans should control the state, and the state should never dictate the fate of humans at every circumstance in an authoritarian fashion).
The KFUO (AM) had the first religious radio station in America by 1924. The Scopes Trial happened in 1925. The trial ended to allow the teachings of Darwinian evolution to be taught in public schools. Evolution teaches that natural forces caused all life to exist on Earth spanning billions of years via natural selection and common ancestors. Christians have diverse views of evolution. Some reject evolution outright in believing in young Earth creationism or old Earth creationism. Some believe in the gap theory of gradual creation over billions of years. Some believe in theistic evolution or God allowing evolution to take place over the eons of time. The controversial Caughlin grew his platform on the radio by the 1920s. He spread his message to once supporting fascists and made anti-Semitic remarks (while denying being anti-Semitic). WWI saw Christians and non-Christians alike fighting among all sides. The Allied Forces defeated the Central Powers at the end of WWI. WWII was much different with more bloodshed, eviler, and an important victory for the Allied Powers. Adolf Hitler was a baptized Roman Catholic who was never excommunicated from the Catholic Church. Yet, Hitler and the Nazis murdered Catholics, Protestants, Jewish people, non-Jewish people, the Roma people, black people, biracial people, LGBTQIA2SCPGNGFNBA+ people, Freemasons, and other human beings. Nazism is antithetical to Christianity, because Nazism hates their neighbors (who are not people of white Northern Europeans), it promoted murder, it used unjust violence against innocent people, and it violated basic human plus democratic rights. I want to make that point perfectly clear. Many Nazis glorified and followed the occult to promote their nefarious views.
Growth and Compromise
By 1945, times were changing at the end of World War II. Christianity, the religious world in general, and the secular world saw tons of technological advancements in sanitation, engineering, travel, industry, education, health, and other aspects of human living. We saw massive international spiritual growth with the spreading of the Gospel from the Americas to the Motherland of Africa. Also, we saw cultural and social changes in the world. There have been legitimate movements that change the world positively like the Civil Rights Movement, the woman's rights movement, and the environmental rights movement. 1948 was the year of the creation of the modern nation of Israel. Regardless of how one feels about the policies of the government of Israel, this historic event has major significance in world history. Also, we witnessed the increase of the power of the Ecumenical Movement (which has been funded by elitist organizations like the CFR, the Bilderberg Group, the Knights of Malta, high level Freemasonry, the Trilateral Commission, the Pilgrim Society, the Rockefellers, large foundations, corporate interests, etc.) that desire Christians to compromise their core religious views to follow the great nefarious myth that all religions (even polytheism and Satanism) are legitimate pathways to the one true God of the Universe. The Ecumenical Movement is pernicious, powerful, and influential, but believers in God have stood up against its false doctrines for years and decades. The age of the Laodicean era is filled with compromise, wickedness, and deception (from the Prosperity Gospel to the freak off parties that existed for millennia). The good news is that the current Laodicean era still has a remnant of holy believers standing up for righteousness, justice, love, and God's mercy ins desiring people to be saved from sin and evil. Goodness always prevails in the end.
Signs of Things to Come
After World War II, Christianity saw some of its most controversial and exciting times in its history. We saw the discoveries of The Nag Hammadi library and the Dead Sea Scrolls being discovered. From 1945 to the present in 2026, Christians debated and talked about social issues, other political issues, and theological doctrines. International or global church movements increased in power during the modern age. Also, we have the growth of heresies from the Prosperity Gospel to the Ecumenical Movement that brainwashed many people into falsehoods. After Israel was a nation in 1948, Christians have been divided on what to make of this historic development. Some Christians support Israel unconditionally, some support Israel with criticisms of Israeli policies that are wrong, some oppose Israel's existence, and some desire Palestinian liberation. Billy Graham (with his strengths and faults) preached nonstop globally for decades. We all know about Dr. Cathy Burns' book on Billy Graham and Fritz Springmeier's research on Billy Graham that showed his errors. Therefore, we have to be wise to eat the meat and throw away the bones. That means to accept what is good and reject what is false or evil. With the advent of television and international satellite television especially, the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ spread globally more efficiently than previously generations. Many evangelists have large followings, but some of the greatest believers in human history have been unsung human beings who seek no fanfare or unnecessary fame. They are just inspired by the Holy Spirit to save the souls of human beings from sin in order for them to live a blessed life in the eyes of the Lord. Culture changed by the 1960s. The good things about the 1960s was that minority groups fought for human rights that should have been there by birthright from voting rights to fundamental human rights. The problem was that many people in the super wealthy exploited wealth to benefit them at the expense of the common people, many people promoted a nihilistic philosophy that harmed societies socially, and some used the lies of the New Age to manipulate people to show hatred of God and believers in God (beyond just dissent with religion). The 21st century sees Christianity in a crossroads in these end times. We don't know when the Second Coming will occur, but we are in the closing chapters of this era of time.
