There is a new survey showing that majorities of Democratic and Republican voters support capping prescription drug costs, banning surprise medical bills, and stopping corporations from buying up homes. Far too young, many people have called these legitimate policy positions as a non-starter. That day is completely over as human lives are on the line literally to live with universal health care. Health care is never a privilege reserved for the very few of our society. Health care is always a human right that should be accessible to all human beings, regardless of color, creed, gender, or background. That is why this reality makes it clear that a rural person, a person from an urban community, and a person from the suburbs have many things in common like our appreciation for quality health care and seeking power to be spread among the people in a fair fashion, not centralized into an oligarchy that reap the benefits of the rest of the people. Economic populism has been very popular in our society. Economic populism is about opposing corporate power who monopolize resources, who hike up prices on many goods and services, and seek to profit with record tax breaks at the expense of the rest of the workers.
The Cornell 7 situation outlines the epidemic of rape in the world society. I don't care if a woman was naked, that woman shouldn't be violated sexually or physically or emotionally. A drunk person can never consent in the world. Therefore, no one should have sexual interaction with a person who is not sober and didn't consent to it. Also, any form of romance has to be consensual. There are group chats from the fraternity and other people exposing how the woman victim was mistreated and violated. There should be no justification for the rape of the woman. Some males want to impress other men to spread misogynistic views and rape culture. Rape culture is not just about rape. It is about the lie that men are entitled to every woman's attention, it is the lie that saying slurs and stereotypes about women is great, and women's autonomy must be subordinate to a male's privilege. No one should go along with manosphere nonsense and rape culture. 57 men was in a chat bragging about the mistreatment of a woman. That is why people can't be silent. Any person should be active to protect human lives, report crimes, stand up for victims of rape (who are women, men, children, and all people of all backgrounds). Predators desire human exploitation, control, evil, and anti-human behavior. The Cornell 7 story proves once again that morality matters, integrity matters, and justice matters too. No one should tolerate rape, abuse, harassment, respectability politics, and other evils that violate human autonomy.
Pete Hegseth is the epitome of bigotry, selfish mediocrity, and a person not qualified to be the Defense Secretary. When a liar like Hegseth said that diversity is not part of our strength, he is completely ignorant of history and truth. There were diverse men and women of every color that took part in the eradication of Nazism in Europe throughout World War II. There was a diversity of men and women of every color and background who came together to work in charities, help victims of natural disasters, and help to improve the lives of humanity in enumerable ways. Hegseth fired qualified women and black people plus other persons of color without any legitimate reason and stalled promotions of these people too. This liar said that he wants no DEI when DEI was established to promote quality not a nefarious system of undue privilege. He loves to use slurs, but he has been accuses of sexual assault. Hegseth has banned hundreds of library book, even May Angelou's autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. This is blatant censorship, but MAGA hypocrites lecture us on free speech. We express outrage that this person Trump and his minion Hegseth runs wild over the world promoting illegal war, murder in the Caribbean, and support of a far-right Netanyahu. Therefore, we want justice and a pure unadulterated mentality of diversity, truth, honor, and integrity.
Trump has criticized regulation of A.I. technology after meeting with technology oligarchs. He met with Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Gerg Brockman, House Speaker Mike Johnson and other people. He once hosted the leaders of Nvidia, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and other technology companies for lunch at the White House. This took place in Tuesday. Trump wanted the industry to regulate itself and present a "voluntary" accord with no enforcement mechanism. This is a recipe for disaster, because you need some legitimate regulation to handle the systems of A.I. and the economy in general. Trump is in league with laissez faire capitalism wherefore the economic is controlled mainly by the oligarchy. Trump believes in self-regulation and some regulation with the Department of Justice, the FBI, and that's about it. Trump met in his lunch with four of the 10 richest people in the world. Musk is worth almost one trillion dollars. A.I. without regulation can ruin jobs and use massive resources and electricity used to create power data centers that harm our water supplies.
The New York Times reported that GOP's Ken Paxton said that Trump has caused his poll numbers to go down in his race against the Democrat Talarico. Many GOP candidates play defense in red states. Texas is known as a ruby red state, but that Senate race is up for grabs, because human beings are tired of high gas prices, an illegal war in Iran, and the affordability crisis (when people struggle to pay for things and food banks are fighting hard to provide suffering people food and water, which we all need to fundamentally survive in this world). Trump is now traveling to red areas to trying to gain votes, but battleground states are in play too. Many Republicans are stuck with Trump, because they voted with Trump on tariffs, on tax law that benefits for the super wealthy, and other reactionary policies. We know which vision works. It is a vision that focuses on morality and that morality and integrity deals with universal health care, voting rights for all Americans who are 18 or older, equality, justice, immigrant rights, black liberation, our civil liberties plus our civil rights strengthened, and seeing a better democratic society where diversity is totally our strength (despite what Hegseth has to say).
