There is a large opposition to ICE's actions in Minnesota. This comes a week after the January 7 murder of Renee Nicole Good by an agent of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The reality is that thousands of federal paramilitary forces are occupying Minneapolis under the director of the president. Governor Tim Walz condemned the actions of ICE by calling such actions a "campaign of organized brutality against the people of Minnesota by our own federal government." Many armed, undertrained, and masked ICE agents are going door to door, ordering people to point out where their neighbors are at. They are pulling people out of their homes indiscriminately, including U.S. citizens, demanding to see their papers. ICE have targeted grocery stores, bus stops, school, and they are breaking windows. They drag pregnant women down the street. This is not moral, and this is not legal. This is an overt attack against the American people. We have to call this evil out completely. We have the resignation of a half dozen career prosecutors at the U.S. Attorney's office in Minneapolis, because the DOJ called Jonathan Ross the victim and is considering investigating Becca Good for ties to anti-government groups. The Minneapolis City Council president said that he was assaulted by ICE agents, and ICE agents have thrown tear gas in a vehicle with children in it. Trump has also threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act in Minnesota. Many ICE agents are acting like terrorists in Minneapolis. Trump wants Minnesota to have a day of retribution and reckoning. Trump said that he is not bound to any law by his actions except by his "morality." A local pastor was detained and threatened at gunpoint by ICE. Such actions are nationwide.
Trump recently saying that we shouldn't even have an election is pure fascism, wrong, and evil. People have every right to vote in peaceful elections. Anyone defending Trump's statements about elections should feel shame. Trump is not infallible, and Trump is not God. Trump should be critiqued of his policies like every President. Many Trump supporters lie and try to justify his most nonsensical statements as a means to support him. No, we won't support injustice. We won't support a tyrant trying to steal Greenland from Denmark. Even GOP Representative Bacon said that the House could impeach Trump is Trump invades Greenland. People need to know about this information, because if stuff doesn't change, we may be on the brink of WWIII in the 2030s or before. This is stone cold reality. When an authoritarian wants to use ICE to terrorize communities, desire to ban mail in ballots, and use immature antics against dissidents including even a disabled person (when this person mocked a disabled person years ago. He is a coward and sick person to do that), then it represents the necessity to stand up and speak up against tyranny in America. This is our country, and my ancestors built this nation. My black ancestors been here long before 1776 too.
There are people like Donny Deutsch, Stephen A. Smith, Joe Scarborough, and others who want us Americans to go into the so-called "center." I don't agree with that view as we live in dangerous times. Dangerous times require revolutionary solutions, not centrism. We reject cuts to welfare and the deregulations of all aspects of Wall Street functions. We have widened economic inequality (as the top 15 American billionaires got $1.5 trillion richer in the first year of Trump's second term), economic insecurity, and the unchecked power of corporations and the super-rich. This is the time where people need to stand up for their rights. That is why those who are Democrats don't need to go into the center. Being lukewarm in a time of tyrannical policies from one person in the White House is disloyalty to truth and justice. To this day, ICE agents continue to detain U.S. citizens, assault protesters, and use tear gas on non threatening people without accountability. The hypocrites who justify ICE ignore this reality while claiming to be in favor of small government. I made it clear that I don't believe in small government, but I don't agree with armed, mased government agents (who hide their identities) running around conducting "show me your papers" stops and brutalizing U.S. citizens. This just involve us black people and other people of color. It involves all of us. If they harm the rights of one person, then they can harm your rights too. So, we have to use vigilance and endorse justice.
The Danish Prime Minister said that if America takes Greenland, then we are at war. This means that America and Denmark can possibly attack each and NATO is gone. Trump is totally an extremist who wants Greenland for his own ego. This action will damage alliances all over the world. Trump wants Greenland without the consent of the residents of Greenland. Trump's argument is wrong as Greenland is already an ally of America. Plus, American military forces are found in Greenland too. Trump is serious about his goal which contradicts his campaign promise of America's First. Trump said that he wants this goal whether the people of Greenland want this or not. Trump is agitating three wars possibly in Venezuela, Greenland, and in Iran. This is a total neo-conservative reactionary agenda. We don't need forever wars. We have to be clear to support democratic principles, reject imperialism, and seek compassionate actions in the world.
Trump used the middle finger to a Ford Factory worker who called him a pedophile enabler. It is not secret that Trump glorifies vulgarity, so this is not an unusual action from Trump. Hypocritical religious people (not all religious people) claim that Trump is God ordained when Trump refuses to ask for forgiveness, curses people out who disagrees with him, and has a motivation of anger, revenge, and retribution. We see how the judge wants the Epstein files to be released. According to the DOJ, less than 1 percent of the Epstein files have been released which is unacceptable. Ironically, Trump signed a bill into law to release all Epstein files, but the DOJ is hesitant to immediately do so. The DOJ has to do the right thing. The DOJ have had months to prepare and release the documents. Many redactions have covered up Trump's name. Congress is getting involved to make sure that the files are shown to the public. The Epstein estate have released photographs too.
