Some breaking news happened where I'm from. On the Old Dominion University campus in Norfolk, Virginia, a murderer killed one innocent human being (and wounded two others) on the ODU campus. The murderer was former Virginia National Guard member and 36 years old Mohamed Bailor Jalloh. Researchers found that he had ties to ISIS. Back in October 2016, he pled guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS, which was called ISIL back then. The FBI is investigating this event as a terror-related attack. There is no excuse for terrorism, and there is no excuse for murder. This coward was killed by authorities, and I have the total support of abhorring terrorism. This person walked around Constant Hall and murdered the class instructor, who was a retired Army officer at an ROTC class. Brave students subdued him, causing more lives to be saved. The victims were transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, one of the greatest hospitals in Virginia and in the world. This tragedy shows that evil is found everywhere, and we have to be vigilant to oppose gun violence. Guns are not gods to be worshiped. This happened in my area in the 757, where I live. Old Dominion University President, Dr. Brian Hemphill, gave a statement about thanking law enforcement and emergency management personnel on quickly assisting the injured. We won't be intimidated by murderers and terrorism. We will stand up for freedom and defend our community.
There has been another terrorist attack after one suspect rammed a vehicle into the Michigan synagogue. We have seen increases in anti-Semitic attacks spanning many years. There appeared to be a large amount of explosives in the back of the vehicle, according to law enforcement and emergency responders. The suspect is dead. The tragedy took place at Temple Israel, which includes an early childcare center and school in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. This location is near Detroit. After the vehicle drove into the building, security opened gunfire and killed the suspect. A security guard was hit by the vehicle but is expected to recover, according to the sheriff.
There are many updates in the Iraq War. Iran has targeted oil facilities and tankers across the Gulf. That is why this war has caused oil prices surged $100 per barrel despite the historic release of reserves as the conflict increases. The Strait of Hormuz remains plainly shut. The Iranian regime continues to exist as America and Israel attack Iran. Iranian Chief of police said that Iranian protesters will risk being shot. This is why this Iranian war is unjust, we can't glorify the Iranian regime as a paragon of virtue. Iran shouldn't be made in the image of America as a Pax Americana, but the Iranian people deserve basic democratic freedom and basic human rights that many of us take for granted. The Trump regime has been complicit in causing an unjust Iranian war, eliminating legitimate environmental regulations, suppressing DEI policies (these policies aren't some token system but policies that promote representation and combat discrimination so qualified minorities can have the opportunity to live their own lives on their own terms), promoting ICE acting like a bunch terrorists, and promoting the lie that the 2020 election was stolen. Now, recent reports found that America forces is complicit in the destruction of the Iranian girls' school. This act is an overt war crime. Less than 30 percent of Americans support the Iranian war, so we don't want this war at all.
Professional wrestling leagues are multifaceted and found in America, Europe, Africa, Mexico, Asia, etc. Each wrestling league has its own distinctive styles, training, and development systems. Many U.S. wrestling leagues overlap into Canada. One example is how so many professional wrestlers were trained in Canada constantly. There are similarities among leagues globally, like storylines, the faces, the heels, and other parts of the wrestling institution. They readily show an elementary understanding of literary verisimilitude (or trying to make a work of fiction as realistic as possible). Lucha libre is a professional wrestling culture in Mexico. In that space, high-flying moves are executed all of the time along with exceptional tag team matches. Japanese professional wrestling, or puroresu, uses psychology, and some use a mixture of real contact and a professional wrestling style. Wrestling in Europe act in cultural festivals. There are women's wrestling leagues and rare intergender matches at times. Some independent U.S. wrestling leagues have people who are more talented than members of major companies like the WWE and AEW. There is W.O.W. or The Women of Wrestling League, too (shown on VICE TV). Other professional wrestling leagues are TNA Wrestling, MLW (Major League Wrestling), NWA (National Wrestling Alliance), and the Real American Freestyle (RAF) league (which seeks to combine traditional unscripted freestyle wrestling with sports entertainment). There is the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Pro Wrestling Noah, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLLA). Combat Zone Wrestling, House of Glory, Women Superstars United, and Chaotic Wrestlign are some of the many independent professional wrestling leagues that have grown in our generation.
There has been an increase of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia in American society as this Iranian unjust war continues. Both evils are 2 sides of the same coin of bigotry. You can't dehumanize, scapegoat, and show hatred of Jewish or Muslim people and claim to be a freedom lover. Many House Republicans have made wild statements like Muslims don't belong in American society, some have called Muslim Congresswomen "terrorists," and Trump has shown more xenophobic and racist words, like calling Somalis "garbage." Recently, there was an anti-Semitic attack at a synagogue near the Baltimore area in Maryland. GOP Reps. Randy Fine of Florida, Brandon Gill of Texas, and Andy Ogles of Tennessee have spoken overtly bigoted terms about Muslims. Such remarks have been condemned by Rep. Carlos Gimenez of Florida. Olges wants all Muslims to leave America, forgetting that Muslims have been in America long before the 1800s before Olges was born. So, we have to be clear to condemn Islamophobia and anti-Semitism.
