Exactly! So you would have to go to "fractional gold" for currency. Certainly gold coin wouldn't do - besides, what would you stamp on the coin? "$50,000 per ounce, with an option on 75."

But even that wouldn't do, so then you have to go to electronic gold, which would be nothing but warehouse receipts. Then where would you be? You'd be right back to 1100 AD with the goldsmiths cheating on the warehouse receipts.

It just doesn't make any sense at all. It's just another way for someone to cheat the money system.

I'm a "newbie" just registered today, but have been familiar with Moneymasters (bought the set in 2002) and also with Griffin's work, for some time. My mission in life really is to expose (and learn) the truth about how our money works and why it's failing us, and help reform it to work better for all of us and for the planet. To that purpose I am facilitating a "lifelong learning" class called "Funny Money" in my community. It's going into the second 10-week term.

I really liked this rebuttal to Griffin, especially that government is all we have (and the best tool) for acting together. (our current government's blatant servility to the moneymasters is a clear symptom of the system's corruption, but I envision a truly representative government not a pretense at one.) Still's responses are well said.

When I first discovered Moneymasters (someone loaned the vhs video to me) I went online --I recall this to be 2002-- and was shocked to find a great amount of anti-semitic drivel popped up in response to my search engine quest. This absurd nonsense was posing as representative of the Moneymasters video project, and I quickly concluded it was planted to divert searchers and to discredit the work of Still et al.

Recently I ran into a friend with whom I had shared Moneymasters video at that time, -about eight years ago. Discussing the Funny Money class, I was shocked to hear her say "I hope you didn't use that (Moneymasters) video you showed me! --It's antisemitic! I could not believe my ears. She had been collaborating with me on trying to spread the message using the Moneymasters video in 2002 and now she somehow has bought that nonesense. I believe then and now this is a way of obstructing the spread of truth about money. With such tactics being employed, how in the world do we escape this trap?

My line is if you jailed every Rothschild and Rockefeller, every Morgan and Schiff in the world, the system would carry on without missing a beat. NOTHING would change.
I regularly bounce those who post Rothschild stuff. Yes, I included it in "The MoneyMasters" but that was before I realized that the mere mention of Rothschild would open the entire project to the charge of anti-semitism. I've learned my lesson.
