In the interview here, war correspondent Keith Harmon Snow spells out how the lopsided coverage of the conflict in Libya is a Pentagon psyop.

The psyop is particularly evident on CNN, especially on Anderson Cooper’s show.
Back in 2000, Alexander Cockburn wrote about the Pentagon’s Psychological Operations Group based at Fort Bragg, in North Carolina, running a psychological operation out of CNN headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
“The facts are”, Dutch journalist, Abe de Vries, told Cockburn, “that the US Army, US Special Operations Command and CNN personnel confirmed to me that military personnel have been involved in news production at CNN’s newsdesks. I found it simply astonishing. Of course CNN says these psyops personnel didn’t decide anything, write news reports, etcetera. What else can they say. Maybe it’s true, maybe not. The point is that these kind of close ties with the army are, in my view, completely unacceptable for any serious news organization. Maybe even more astonishing is the complete silence about the story from the big media. To my knowledge, my story was not mentioned by leading American or British newspapers, nor by Reuters or AP.”
Of course not. Because Reuters, the AP, and the rest are part of the same long-standing CIA Operation Mockingbird effort to control the major media.
As for Anderson Cooper, the great-great-great-grandson of the robber baron Cornelius Vanderbilt, he is a trained CIA operative.

Snow mentions all of the other humanitarian crises underway in Africa the United States ignores while it sheds crocodile tears over the rag-tag “freedom fighters” in Libya. The U.S. government and the complaisant corporate propaganda media have used the term on several occasions, most notably in respect to the Afghan Mujahideen (that would later morph into the Taliban and al-Qeada) and the Nicaraguan Contras. Both were CIA operations.
The build-up to a full scale invasion (or at minimum a shock and awe campaign) against Libya is eerily reminiscent of the preparations leading up to the neocon invasion of Iraq. The media plays its part by demonizing Muammar Gaddafi in much the same way it demonized Saddam Hussein, who eventually went to the gallows as a reward for his dutiful service to the CIA.
It is not merely Libya’s sweet crude oil the globalists are itching to get their hands on. In fact, physically capturing Libya’s oil plays a minor role. They are interested in not only destabilizing the entire Middle East, including the crown jewel Saudi Arabia, but also sending the world economy into a death spiral. $200 a barrel oil prices will surely do more damage to the world economy than any other single event short of some global catastrophe.
For the globalists, order emerges from chaos. Only by destroying the economy – and the world economy rests on a foundation of oil – can they forge ahead with their plan to implement world authoritarian government with its accompanying high-tech police state control grid.

Globalist minion and renowned war criminal Henry Kissinger, a close Rockefeller confidant and Bilderberger insider, said it best when he explained that presented with the right crisis, the American people will beg to be enslaved.
$6 per gallon gasoline – or higher – and its engineered reverberations throughout the economy portends just such a crisis.
