In preparing to use surveillance drones for protests and “public safety,” the Department of Homeland Security is following Russia’s lead, where Vladimir Putin has approved a massive expansion of the technology specifically for the purpose of monitoring demonstrators.
As we reported last week in a story that has since gone viral, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano admitted that spy drones are now being readied to be used for “public safety,” or in other words any event at which a large number of people are gathered including protests.
“With respect to Science and Technology, that directorate, we do have a funded project, I think it’s in California, looking at drones that could be utilized to give us situational awareness in a large public safety [matter] or disaster, such as a forest fire, and how they could give us better information,” Napolitano told the House Committee on Homeland Security.
Simultaneously, the DHS is also buying large quantities of riot gear to deal with expected civil unrest at the upcoming RNC, DNC and presidential inauguration.
Spy drones the size of insects have also been reported by protesters attending demonstrations in New York and Washington.
However, the most aggressive push to use drones to keep tabs on protesters is undoubtedly unfolding in Russia, where the technology was first used six years ago at the Group of Eight summit in St. Petersburg.
- A d v e r t i s e m e n t
“The police make no secret of the fact that they intend to use them for monitoring demonstrations and marches,”reports the Moscow Times. “In tender documentation to acquire two Zala drones, an Interior Ministry official from the Amur region said the technology would be used to monitor places where mass demonstrations are held, searches, and site surveillance. In March 2011, the head of Amur’s aviation operation center, Sergei Kanunnikov, explained to Amur.info, “They will be used mainly to maintain public order during local demonstrations and marches.”
Having received the green light from President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Interior Ministry has spent millions of dollars ensuring that 26 regions of the country have a fleet of drones available for monitoring street protests.
Russia is also preparing to use a fleet of spy drones to take on the job of “crowd control” at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
Should we be concerned that the United States is following Moscow’s lead in turning to surveillance drones for spying on protests and crowd control, especially given the fact that demonstrations against the government in Russia are routinely met with brutal repression?
Members of the female punk band Pussy Riot still remain in prison six months later for protesting against Putin’s re-election at a Cathedral in Moscow. If convicted, the women face seven years in jail.
Given that authoritarian regimes such as Egypt’s infamous secret police have renamed themselves “Homeland Security” in an attempt to mimic the federal agency, the fact that the DHS is now aspiring to follow the example set by Russia’s authoritarian rulers in using spy drones to police protests is yet another example of how the DHS is fast turning into a KGB-lite – a politicized body that exists to deter Americans from exercising their constitutional rights.

Logic and Reason
In life, we all go through changes. My views are my views. For years, I became economically progressive. Many of our ideological adversaries promote the deception that people like me need deprogramming. That's silliness, since a human being for advancement of truth, being for the promotion of civil liberties, believing in economic justice, and loving social maturity are great tenets to enjoy. These are the people that lie and say that the President is a socialist (when he never advocated the total public ownership of all enterprise). Exposing super wealthy thieves of our economic resources and allowing the government to finance legitimate services are views that I accept. In a civilized society, we are our brothers keeper or our sisters' keeper. Private charity isn't enough to help the poor or the suffering in society. Therefore, public and private programs are created in order for the poor to receive assistance. To assume that the free market is totally perfect to handle all economic complexities is fantasy. Sometimes, public intervention is necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, labor rights violations, and other issues going on in the financial realm. There is one person who sent me videos in trying to make me into a conservative Republican. Yet, I am not that. I am an Independent person. I don't agree with environmental degradation. I don't agree with austerity or demonizing the poor. I don't believe in bigoted rhetoric against Palestinians or a neo-conservative foreign policy ideology. I accept equality for all people and I agree with a revolution of values wherefore black people (like me) have a right to promote our heritage, promote our history (in a month and throughout the year), and expose the neo-Confederate reactionaries where ever they are. It's very hypocritical for people like some of the Republicans to claim to be on my people side when many of them voted against the Black Farmers bill, voted against affirmative action, support the pro-Drug War prison system, and some of them even want to eliminate Black History Month. Some of them (not all of them) defend Rush Limbaugh and a vile, profane extremist like Ted Nugent. That's their company. The reactionaries advance a cruel law and order policy where men and women are profiled on the basis of their skin color. It's a policy that allows non-violent drug offenders to receive higher sentences in some cases than rapists, assaulters, and murderers. It's a vicious system that ought to be abolished and replaced with a fair execution of legal remedies. I will not submit and betray my people. I will be a man and agree with justice and a real world revolution. It's very hypocritical for the Republicans and their Blue Dog Democratic allies to allow the billions of dollars a year to be sent into the military industrial complex (including millions of dollars spent to build up prisons as prisons are an extension of the military industrial complex. I don't wish anyone to go into prison. Prison is not the spot) without sending billions of dollars via programs to rebuild our cities, our towns, and the rest of our social infrastructure right here at home. It's also hypocritical of them to lecture on welfare for the poor negatively (a necessity for many in our nation) when they allow billions of dollars to be sent into corporate welfare including other various subidies. That is why human rights (as found in the Bill of Rights) are superior to states rights (which have been used in the promotion of slavery and the immoral acts of Jim Crow segregation). In our time, we should advocate a strong anti-war mentality and a sense of fighting for equality of folks of every background. For if one person's liberties are threatened, then all of our rights are in danger. Democrats too in some measure have supported the imperial wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other places in the world. Some of them ought to be called out for that reality as well. Now, we should have a concern for the poor in this country. The poor have been greatly neglected by our society in great measure. They live in the ghettos, the trailer parks, in the rural communities, and in other locations nationwide plus worldwide. This record unemployment has nothing to do with laziness nor inferiority (as our ideological adversaries maintain). It has to do with socioeconomic policies that existed from laissez faire economics, extreme globalization, poverty, and a selfish culture. That is why poor need a higher access to employment and to real opportunities so that they can live a more fruitful standard of living. Now, the poor don't want handouts permanently, but they want a hand up. One sister on Youtube (named "SuperBlackWoman1") is right to say that people like Hannity and Limbaugh preach deception. Just because a man or a woman doesn't toe the conservative Republican line, doesn't mean that person is some traitor or an extremist. This movement for social change still transpire in our time from the brothers and especially sisters standing up for the Jena Six, to the labor insurgency inside of the state of Wisconsin, to the protests against the stop and frisk policies in NYC, to the nationwide protests of the death of our young brother Trayvon Martin, and to the protests of the Occupy Movement. It's not about Republican or Democrat. I criticize both parties as I am not in the Left/Right Paradigm. It's about power for the people or power for the oligarchy alone. Oligarchy is wrong and all of us have the right to strongly oppose the agenda of oligarchy completely.
One of the most tragic parts of the Vietnam War era was Operation Phoenix. These crimes against human life came about in the late 1960's and early 1970's. The CIA was involved with this program. This program killed a lot of South Vietnamese Buddhists again. It was a like a modern-day Inquisition. The Phoenix Program involved even local communities with operatives. There were the PRU or the Provincial Reconnaissance Units that operated their war crimes with impunity. The PRU collected intelligence. They sweeped communities and allowed people to be indefinitely detained in CIA interrogation centers. This was decades before the war on terror that began in 2001. They interrogated suspects according to the "CIA Manual For Interrogation and Elimination." These acts were standard policy. Many people who were killed were VC. The PRU killed people. There were active lists for VC/Buddhist assassination. The Phoenix Program for 1969 called for "neutralizing" 1800 a month. In this program, the suspected "enemies" were not allowed trial, preliminary hearing, legal representation, this program prevented them from confronting accusers, and plead in own behalf or present evidence in their defense, etc. The 1975 issue of Counter spy magazine described the "Phoenix Program" as the "...most indiscriminate and massive program of political murder since the Nazi death camps of WWII." The United Buddhist Church (or a non-Communist resistance force) has been harmed too by imperialists. CIA head William Colby was involved in Operation Phoenix along with others. This program wanted to gather intelligence, but war crimes came about as a product of this program. It lasted from 1965 to 1972. About 26,369 human beings at least were killed as a product of Operation Phoenix. CIA's Saigon station chief Peer DeSilva developed the interrogation centers and the PRUs. Rape, gang rape, use of eels, use of snakes, electric shock, sexual abuse, starvation, and many sick acts were used by military operatives in Operation Phoenix. In 1970, Ed Murphy publicly criticized Operation Phoenix. It was closed and finished once public pressure existed and Congressional investigation proved the damaging nature of the program. Similar programs of Operation Phoenix executed by the CIA would occur in Iran-Contra inside of Latin America, in Indonesia, and in other places of the world. CIA leader William Colby admitted that the program of genocide in Indonesia and the Phoenix Program were one and the same. The schools of training for government funded terrorists exist in the Western Hemisphere Institute For Security Cooperation, formerly The School of The Americas (Ft. Benning Ga.) and The Counter-Insurgency Training Center (Ft. Bragg, Fayetteville, N.C.). Operation Phoenix is one of the great sins of America to be honest with you. I love America as I was born here, but America ought to publicly repent for its sins. I do apologize to God and the inhabitants of the world for the sins of America. I am sorry to Almighty God, because Operation Phoenix should of never occurred in the first place.
People now are comparing the Dark Knight Rises film to the Aurora shooting. A movie had nothing to do with the shooting at all. Yet, the movie is a reflection of some of the nefarious issues plaguing our culture today though. Holmes was so sick and evil that he shot a 4 month old baby at point blank range. He claimed that he was the Joker. He looked similar to the Joker character of the late actor Heath Ledger in the film "The Dark Knight." The Joker in that film acted evil, satanic, sarcastic, and abrasive at the same time. The Dark Knight is the 4th grossing film of all time. Ledger would play in another film with much Masonic, occult symbolism in it. Some scenes in the Dark Knight were directed by Ledger himself. Holmes wanted rebellion and other sinful actions. Even Proverbs 4:23 is right to mention that as human beings, we should be careful what we place in our hearts and minds. We shouldn't embrace evil thoughts and sinful rebellion in our minds at all. In real life, Ledger experienced insomnia, depression, and anxiety just before he died. These drugs and a hardcore movie lifestyle are cited by some as a catalyst for him to pass away. Ledger was inspired to play the Joker character by comic writer and magic practitioner Alan Moore's "The Killing Joke." Moore of course wrote The Watchman, V for Vendetta etc. which have occult symbolism and various social messages. V for Vendetta explicitly mentioned the words of Aleister Crowley and mentioned him by name. The Joker character in the Batman movie series wanted to promote chaos or he is the evil archetype. It proves that some individuals are sick to embrace a wicked mentality. Holmes wanted to shoot as many people as possible. Witness after witness described Holmes as acting odd and calculating in the theater. He planned the attacks in months in advance, so he had a premeditated agenda before he murdered innocent human beings. Today, mentally disturbed people are trying to copy the Joker motif as an excuse to perform criminal activities. Of course, the Joker or a film has nothing to do with these acts from Kim De Gelder from Belgium or James Holmes from America. Yet, we have to seek a cultural change in the world where obscene violence isn't glamorized here. Other sick Joker like crimes occurred in Wisconsin and in other places worldwide. So, as human beings, we have to find unique ways in battling against this death culture. I am not a theocrat, but many of the Christians are right in saying that we have to promote morality, ethics, and alms giving in society (as one way out of many to prevent obscene crimes from happening in the first place). It's obvious that an evil man loves death. A man that hates God surely death and that is why some of the most intense anti-Christian, anti-God folks in history love death like Stalin, Manson, Pol Pot, etc. Therefore, James Holmes is accountable for his actions. He made a conscience decision to enact murder. Common sense dictates that we should keep the faith and draw nigh to God. As a nation, we do need to be born again to believe in growth, peace, and social improvement. It will not be easy, but these acts are surely better than a sick death, culture. It's no shame to pray. It's fine to pray. It's legitimate to pray for redemption, moral improvement, upright character, and a sense of improving the hearts of humanity. There are heroes in this tradegy. Matt McQuinn gave his life to save his girlfriend by shielding her body from bullets. His girlfriend is named Samantha Yowler. She is 26 and survived with a gun shot wound to the leg and is in fair condition after undergoing surgery. Jon Blunk gave his life to protect his girlfriend named Jansen Young. So, we need to prevent criminals from owning guns. That's true. Yet, we also need reforms in mental health issues and reforms in dealing with our culture. We don't need materialism nor unnecessary violence at all.
There is a real police state in America and a real mass opposition to it is lacking to a great extent. Now, we have seen an extraordinary violation of our civil liberties by the administrations of past decades (even in Bush II and the current administration of President Barack Obama). The executive branch of government increased its power in a great fashion. Repressive agencies are still here where thousands of personnel come about, there are secret budgets, and police state surveillance of citizens. There is the monitoring over over 40 million U.S. citizens and residents. There are people confronting the powers that be all over America, so I want to make that perfectly clear. Likewise, there is a huge sense of apathy in the world. We know the immorality of the McCarthyite purges in the 1950's. McCarthy violated the rights of the freedom of speech by promoting compulsory loyalty oaths. He organized witch hunt with Congress in order to investigate public officials, cultural figures, intellectuals, trade unionists academics, etc. That's fascism. Public debate came about and resistance came. The public hearings of HUAC or the House of Un-American Activities Committee were protested against in San Francisco by 1960. There was massive, grassroots protests against the system of segregation in the racial segregated South. Even folks used self defense units against the racist death squads of the KKK (Ku Klux Klan). The Free Speech Movement from 1964 caused mass demonstrations against the university governance acting authoritarian. The Cold War & the War on Drugs (which came in the USA under President Richard Nixon) caused the police state to grow in violating the democratic freedoms and civil rights of human beings. The civil rights and free speech movements exist across backgrounds. These movements desire racial equality, and an end to the imperial U.S. Indo-Chinese wars and eliminating the Congressional witch hunts. Workers' rights and social advancements resulted as a product of the tireless efforts of these movements. All of these movements united with a wide spectrum of social movements. The overt police state tactics were common in the 1950's. Today, we have overt and more covert police state tactics like spying, state violence against individuals, infiltration, and the promotion of media propaganda. The police state apparatus didn't go away when some social movements weakened. Since the early 1980's, the police state expanded even more greatly. In the 21st century, the police state has made arbitrary detention and interrogations, entrapment and the blacklisting of hundreds of thousands of US citizens. Presidential fiats have established the framework for the assassination of US citizens and residents, military tribunals, detention camps and the seizure of private property. The Department of Homeland Security has violated our rights with this police state too. There are some voices that are speaking up against these violations of our constitutional freedoms, but these movements weren't as powerful as in the 1960's. The police state still utilize infiltration, profiling, and other methods to dominate society. They monitor mosques and other religious locations in promoting the pacification of human beings. Muslim Americans, African Americans, immigrants, anti-war protesters, etc. are regularly targeted by the powers that be. For example, the feds monitor mosques secretly with agents, they use the criminal justice system to prevent voting rights among felons who paid their debts to society, and they use warrant less wiretapping to monitor tons of American citizens as well. The establishment regularly targets anyone that is critical of U.S./Israeli policy in the Middle East (in the sense of supporting the Palestinian people and supporting the peace movement in Israel plus Palestine). People have the right to have a love for the truth, to believe in a better environment, and to express legitimate opposition to the police state. We can do a lot in order for us to fight back against the police state. It is obvious that some of the mass anti-war movements have been sold out by the Democratic machine (They even expelled millions of Hispanic Americans from America in a record fashion). So, independent socio-economic movements should link citizens in promoting civil liberties, free speech, and the interests of all Americans. There is value in Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other like minded programs. Promoting independent movements that desire social justice and freedom are great avenues in order for us to battle the police state. We should promote the people's welfare at home and justice plus peace abroad.
Universal health is a real goal that can further develop the current human rights revolution. Many health professionals, lawyers, and advocates want a Medicare for all system ( I don't have a problem with this or a single payer system either). This policy is superior to the imperfect Affordable Care Act. ACA is better than the status quo though. We still have a long way to go in reaching full health care reform. The reason is that millions still don't have insurance. Our health care costs are rising. Medicaid and Medicare prevented the poor and elderly from suffering unimaginable harm. That is why an universal system is necessary in order for health care to reach more citizens of America. Corporate interests shouldn't dominate real health reform. Health reform ought to be made with the people's interests at heart. Even now, many vulnerable patients are not represented in our health care system. We should promote prevention and assure patient care beyond the motivation of profit. Health care in America costs more than anywhere on Earth. Many industrialized nations have universal health care with better health care than us. Some people die each year, because of lack of health care or the high costs of certain types of health care. Health care should be accessible to all Americans irrespective of how sick, poor, or unemployed we may be. There are many good things in the Affordable Care Act. There are some weaknesses of the ACA law well. Some of its weaknesses are that: it can leave millions without insurance because states can potentially opt out of the Medicaid expansion, no restriction on prices are charged by insurance companies, patients are forced to go into private insurance without a public option, it promotes the inhumane cost shifting to patients via compulsory purchase of expensive policies (and higher deductibles and higher co-pays), etc. The ACA can reduce Medicare cost by paying providers less. This tatcic can encourage providers to avoid Medicare patients. That is why people can a cost effective universal health care system. Privatizing health care is not right in our age. Other nations reduce or eliminate deductibles and co-pays in order to coverage people. We need progressive taxes to help give health care to America. We can eliminate the administrative waste generated by the private health insurance industry, which will reduce the costs of health costs. There should be a fight against fraud and allow patients to choose their own physicians. The remove for profit health facilities ought to be banned. There should be negotiations for fair prices and all people should have access to health care in America. Tons of doctors in America have promoted either a Medicare for all system or universal health care.

Flipping The Script: The Western Media’s Syria Propaganda Is Falling Apart

Do you remember this guy, Jason Russell? He was the frontman for the short-lived and over-hyped “Kony 2012″ propaganda campaign that exploited young people’s emotions to popularize a U.S. military invasion of Uganda. After his lies were exposed on the Internet he had a shocking meltdown in public. He ran around naked near traffic lights, smashed his fists on the pavement, and screamed bizarrely. The heavy spirit of Madness conquered his weak will.
The day before his freakish breakdown Russell was idolized in the mainstream press as a saint on a mission to save the children of Africa. His war propaganda documentary about the deceased CIA contractor Joseph Kony became hugely popular on Facebook and other social media outlets. But as soon as his mask came down and his craziness was captured by cameras, the media vultures forgot about his crusade and quickly moved on to the next hot story.
The new story that captured the corrupt Western media’s attention was Syria. The conflict was heating up, and the “international community” was being pressed to take action against the country. “Assad is killing his own people,” they said, without offering any evidence. “This is the next domino to fall in the Arab Spring, the rebels must be supported and Assad has to step down,” so went the propaganda. And yadda yadda. The media’s insane lies were repeated for months. Major media channels were engaged in non-stop propaganda warfare to destroy the independent Syrian state and reduce Syrians to slavery.
But then something remarkable and unexpected happened. Some Western journalists began telling the truth about the origins of the conflict, the true motives behind the West’s anti-Syria propaganda, and the nature of the unpopular Syrian opposition.
The spell was broken.
In June, German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) reported that the infamous Houla massacre was committed not by Assad’s forces, as it was claimed by the Western media at first, but by the NATO-backed terrorist opposition.
The official narrative about the Syrian conflict fell apart at that point. The moral case for overthrowing Assad was lost because it was based on total lies. The naked aggression by NATO’s barbaric pawns against Syrian civilians was clear to see for anyone who was paying attention.
II. The Global Alternative Media Rises: End of Mainstream Propaganda
The establishment media no longer has a monopoly on reality. Official lies are challenged, buried truths are dug up, and objective reality is preserved. The magician’s tricks have been revealed by spoilers in the crowd. The global alternative media is rising and it is an engine of peace, liberation, understanding, and sanity.
Even mainstream media figures are forced to admit that they have been lying to the world about nearly everything and that their warmongering views are not mainstream. They are losing their control over the minds of the masses, and like Russell of the Kony 2012 stunt, they are also losing control of their own minds.
In fact, establishment journalists have already gone crazy and lost their grip on reality. Their world is falling down around them and their temporary power is disappearing by the day. Truth is too strong a force. The establishment media is going against the gravity of reality and it is losing the battle.
But not everybody in the Western media has lost their heads and hearts. There are still some respectable and honourable journalists around who place the facts of history above the lies of governments. The writer “b” of MoA writes:
Young consumers of news are looking to the rising global independent media to get the facts about critical issues and conflicts. In the process, their worldview is changing and their government-made beliefs are dying.
The truth about Syria, like the truth about 9/11, can be suppressed for the time being but it cannot be erased from the record of history.
Tony Cartalucci says that Western propaganda against Syria has gotten too out of control and as a result it is falling to pieces. The tangled lies are being exposed before their usefulness can be exploited. Here is an excerpt from Cartalucci’s article, “US Treasury: Al Qaeda Runs Syrian “Rebellion”:
Washington’s sense of logic is funny and twisted, but it is not unique. That’s the way of the world. Throughout history, empires first conquer the truth, reality, and human consciousness, and then move their way to resource-rich lands.
The power of an empire is dependent on the cult beliefs and cult personalities that are created to justify its brutal rule at home and abroad.
It is a sign of hope for the world and for the collective life of mankind when the sovereignty of truth overcomes an empire of death, in whatever age in human history.

“There seems to be slight turn in the western media coverage of Syria. Here in Germany the press has now more reports showing the “rebels” as what they really are: traveling jihadists and foreign paid rabble. Commentators on the news websites are now mostly highly critical about the usual propaganda pieces and the German government policy of supporting the SNC. There also seems to be a slight shift in international media.”Whereas in the recent past the Western establishment media was all-powerful and its official narratives were unquestioningly accepted by the general public, today its legitimacy is rapidly collapsing and it is failing to make people believe in government lies.
“Now, it appears that the West’s Arab “foreign legion,” Al Qaeda, is about to suffer an unprecedented defeat – not at the hands of Western anti-terrorism forces, but at the hands of Syrian troops in the city of Aleppo. In a desperate effort to prevent this, the West is employing a series of desperate strategies ranging from portraying the trapped foreign-fighters committing atrocities inside Aleppo as “pending a certain massacre,” to using the very presence of these foreign-fighters as evidence “Al Qaeada” is operating in Syria and must be “stopped” by Western intervention. It is strange to hear that Washington is at war with Al-Qaeda in Yemen, and, at the same time, it is an ally of Al-Qaeda in Syria. Only one of these two things can be true. Washington is either at war with Al-Qaeda or it is not.
It is essential to understand that, as empires have always done, the monolithic corporate-financier interests of the West seek regional hegemony as a step toward global domination, and will say and do anything in order to achieve it. As resistance increases, the West’s lies become more difficult to sell, the consistency of their propaganda overtly crumbling. The West, in nearly a single breath, has now claimed FSA fighters are both “Al Qaeda” that need to be eliminated, while also impeding a “massacre” by Syrian forces if something isn’t done to save them.
When US President Obama referred to the “depths of depravity” regarding Syrian security operations in Aleppo, he and his script writers do so with the belief that Americans, and the world, are ignorant and disinterested in the truth, and will gladly allow Western foreign policy to once again prey on their emotions and good intentions to sell yet another destructive, self-serving military intervention.”

Kwame Ture's criticism of the Left Establishment
From http://notmytribe.com/2008/stokely-carmichael-on-liberal-pitfalls-82674.html
The Pitfalls of Liberalism
by Stokely Carmichael (Kwame Ture)
(From the book; “Stokely Speaks – From Black Power to Pan Africanism”)
Whenever one writes about a problem in the United States, especially concerning the racial atmosphere, the problem written about is usually black people that they are either extremist, irresponsible, or ideologically naive.
What we want to do here is to talk about white society, and the liberal segment of white society, because we want to prove the pitfalls of liberalism, that is, the pitfalls of liberals in their political thinking.
Whenever articles are written, whenever political speeches are given, or whenever analysis are made about a situation, it is assumed that certain people of one group, either the left or the right, the rich or the poor, the whites or the blacks, are causing polarization. The fact is that conditions cause polarization, and that certain people can act as catalysts to speed up the polarization; for example, Rap Brown or Huey Newton can be a catalyst for speeding up the polarization of blacks against whites in the United States, but the conditions are already there. George Wallace can speed up the polarization of white against blacks in America, but again, the conditions are already there.
Many people want to know why, out of the entire white segment of society, we want to criticize the liberals. We have to criticize them because they represent the liaison between other groups, between the oppressed and the oppressor. The liberal tries to become an arbitrator, but he is incapable of solving the problems. He promises the oppressor that he can keep the oppressed under control; that he will stop them from becoming illegal (in this case illegal means violent). At the same time, he promises the oppressed that he will be able to alleviate their suffering – in due time. Historically, of course, we know this is impossible, and our era will not escape history.
The most perturbing question for the liberal is the question of violence. The liberals initial reaction to violence is to try to convince the oppressed that violence is an incorrect tactic, that violence will not work, that violence never accomplishes anything. The Europeans took America through violence and through violence they established the most powerful country in the world. Through violence they maintain the most powerful country in the world. It is absolutely absurd for one to say that violence never accomplishes anything.
Today power is defined by the amount of violence one can bring against one’s enemy – that is how you decide how powerful a country is; power is defined not by the number of people living in a country, it is not based on the amount of resources to be found in that country, it is not based upon the good will of the leaders or the majority of that people. When one talks about a powerful country, one is talking precisely about the amount of violence that that country can heap upon its enemy. We must be clear in our minds about that. Russia is a powerful country, not because there are so many millions of Russians but because Russia has great atomic strength, great atomic power, which of course is violence. America can unleash an infinite amount of violence, and that is the only way one considers American powerful. No one considers Vietnam powerful, because Vietnam cannot unleash the same amount of violence. Yet if one wanted to define power as the ability to do, it seems to me that Vietnam is much more powerful than the United States. But because we have been conditioned by Western thoughts today to equate power with violence, we tend to do that at all times, except when the oppressed begin to equate power with violence….then it becomes an “incorrect” equation.
Most societies in the West are not opposed to violence. The oppressor is only opposed to violence when the oppressed talk about using violence against the oppressor. Then the question of violence is raised as the incorrect means to attain one’s ends. Witness, for example, that Britain, France, and the United States have time and time again armed black people to fight their enemies for them. France armed Senegalese in World War 2, Britain of course armed Africa and the West Indies, and the United States always armed the Africans living in the United States. But that is only to fight against their enemy, and the question of violence is never raised. The only time the United States or England or France will become concerned about the question of violence is when the people whom they armed to kill their enemies will pick up those arms against them. For example, practically every country in the West today is giving guns either to Nigeria or the Biafra. They do not mind giving those guns to those people as long as they use them to kill each other, but they will never give them guns to kill another white man or to fight another white country.
The way the oppressor tries to stop the oppressed from using violence as a means to attain liberation is to raise ethical or moral questions about violence. I want to state emphatically here that violence in any society is neither moral nor is it ethical. It is neither right nor is it wrong. It is just simply a question of who has the power to legalize violence.
It is not a question of whether it is right to kill or it is wrong to kill; killing goes on. Let me give an example. If I were in Vietnam, if I killed thirty yellow people who were pointed out to me by white Americans as my enemy, I would be given a medal. I would become a hero. I would have killed America’s enemy – but America’s enemy is not my enemy. If I were to kill thirty white policemen in Washington, D.C. who have been brutalizing my people and who are my enemy, I would get the electric chair. It is simply a question of who has the power to legalize violence. In Vietnam our violence is legalized by white America. In Washington, D.C., my violence is not legalized, because Africans living in Washington, D.C., do not have the power to legalize their violence.
I used that example only to point out that the oppressor never really puts an ethical or moral judgment on violence, except when the oppressed picks up guns against the oppressor. For the oppressor, violence is simply the expedient thing to do.
Is it not violent for a child to go to bed hungry in the richest country in the world? I think that is violent. But that type of violence is so institutionalized that it becomes a part of our way of life. Not only do we accept poverty, we even find it normal. And that again is because the oppressor makes his violence a part of the functioning society. But the violence of the oppressed becomes disruptive. It is disruptive to the ruling circles of a given society. And because it is disruptive it is therefore very easy to recognize, and therefore it becomes the target of all those who in fact do not want to change the society. What we want to do for our people, the oppressed, is to begin to legitimize violence in their minds. So that for us violence against the oppressor will be expedient. This is very important, because we have all been brainwashed into accepting questions of moral judgment when violence is used against the oppressor.
If I kill in Vietnam I am allowed to go free; it has been legalized for me. I has not been legitimatized in my mind. I must legitimatize it in my own mind, and even though it is legal I may never legitimatize in in my own mind. There are a lot of people who came back from Vietnam, who have killed where killing was legalized, but who still have psychological problems over the fact that they have killed. We must understand, however, that to legitimatize killing in one’s mind does not make it legal. For example, I have completely legitimatized in my mind the killing of white policemen who terrorize black communities. However, if I get caught killing a white policeman, I have to go to jail, because I do not as yet have the power to legalize that type of killing. The oppressed must begin to legitimatize that type of violence in the minds of our people, even though it is illegal at this time, and we have to keep striving every chance we get to attain that end.
Now, I think the biggest problem with the white liberal in America, and perhaps the liberal around the world, is that his primary task is to stop confrontation, stop conflicts, not to redress grievances, but to stop confrontation. And this is very clear, it must become very, very clear in all our minds. Because once we see what the primary task of the liberal is, then we can see the necessity of not wasting time with him. His primary role is to stop confrontation. Because the liberal assumes a priori that a confrontation is not going to solve the problem. This of course, is an incorrect assumption. We know that.
We need not waste time showing that this assumption of the liberals is clearly ridiculous. I think that history has shown that confrontation in many cases has resolved quite a number of problems – look at the Russian revolution, the Cuban revolution, the Chinese revolution. In many cases, stopping confrontation really means prolonging suffering.
The liberal is so preoccupied with stopping confrontation that he usually finds himself defending and calling for law and order, the law and order of the oppressor. Confrontation would disrupt the smooth functioning of the society and so the politics of the liberal leads him into a position where he finds himself politically aligned with the oppressor rather than with the oppressed.
The reason the liberal seeks to stop confrontation – and this is the second pitfall of liberalism – is that his role, regardless of what he says, is really to maintain the status quo, rather than to change it. He enjoys economic stability from the status quo and if he fights for change he is risking his economic stability. What the liberal is really saying is that he hopes to bring about justice and economic stability for everyone through reform, that somehow the society will be able to keep expanding without redistribution the wealth.
This leads to the third pitfall of the liberal. The liberal is afraid to alienate anyone, and therefore he is incapable of presenting any clear alternative.
Look at the past presidential campaign in the United States between Nixon, Wallace, and Humphrey. Nixon and Humphrey, because they try to consider themselves some sort of liberals, did not offer any alternatives. But Wallace did, he offered clear alternatives. Because Wallace was not afraid to alienate, he was not afraid to point out who had caused errors in the past, and who should be punished. The liberals are afraid to alienate anyone in society. They paint such a rosy picture of society and they tell us that while things have been bad in the past, somehow they can become good in the future without restructuring society at all.
What the liberal really wants is to bring about change which will not in any way endanger his position. The liberal says, “It is a fact that you are poor, and it is a fact that some people are rich but we can make you rich without affecting those people who are rich”. I do not know how poor people are going to get economic security without affecting the rich in a given country, unless one is going to exploit other peoples. I think that if we followed the logic of the liberal to its conclusion we would find that all we can get from it is that in order for a society to become suitable we must begin to exploit other peoples.
Fourth, I do not think that liberals understand the difference between influences and power, and the liberals get confused seeking influence rather than power. The conservatives on the right wing, or the fascists, understand power, though, and they move to consolidate power while the liberal pushes for influence.
Let us examine the period before civil rights legislation in the United States. There was a coalition of the labor movement, the student movement, and the church for the passage of certain civil rights legislation; while these groups formed a broad liberal coalition, and while they were able to exert their influence to get certain legislation passed, they did not have the power to implement the legislation once it became law. After they got certain legislation passed they had to ask the people whom they were fighting to implement the very things that they had not wanted to implement in the past. The liberal fights for influence to bring about change, not for the power to implement the change. If one really wants to change a society, one does not fight to influence change and then leave the change to someone else to bring about. If the liberals are serious they must fight for power and not for influence.
These pitfalls are present in his politics because the liberal is part of the oppressor. He enjoys the status quo while he himself may not be actively oppressing other people, he enjoys the fruits of that oppression. And he rhetorically tries to claim the he is disgusted with the system as it is.
While the liberal is part of the oppressor, he is the most powerless segment within that group. Therefore when he seeks to talk about change, he always confronts the oppressed rather than the oppressor. He does not seek to influence the oppressor, he seeks to influence the oppressed. He says to the oppressed, time and time again, “You don’t need guns, you are moving too fast, you are too radical, you are too extreme.” He never says to the oppressor, “You are too extreme in your treatment of the oppressed,” because he is powerless among the oppressors, even if he is part of that group; but he has influence, or, at least, he is more powerful than the oppressed, and he enjoys this power by always cautioning, condemning, or certainly trying to direct and lead the movements of the oppressed.
To keep the oppressed from discovering his pitfalls the liberal talks about humanism. He talks about individual freedom, about individual relationships. One cannot talk about human idealism in a society that is run by fascists. If one wants a society that is in fact humanistic, one has to ensure that the political entity, the political state, is one that will allow humanism. And so if one really wants a state where human idealism is a reality, one has to be able to control the political state. What the liberal has to do is to fight for power, to go for the political state and then, once the liberal has done this, he will be able to ensure the type of human idealism in the society that he always talks about.
Because of the above reasons, because the liberal is incapable of bringing about the human idealism which he preaches, what usually happens is that the oppressed, whom he has been talking to finally becomes totally disgusted with the liberal and begins to think that the liberal has been sent to the oppressed to misdirect their struggle, to rule them. So whether the liberal likes it or not, he finds himself being lumped, by the oppressed, with the oppressor – of course he is part of that group. The final confrontation, when it does come about, will of course include the liberal on the side of the oppressor. Therefore if the oppressed really wants a revolutionary change, he has no choice but to rid himself of those liberals in his rank.

The truth is Beyond Austerity
Scientists have created the world's lightest material. German scientists have created this material. This is a cubic centimetre of aerographite. It weighs just two ten-thousandths of a gram. This is six times lighter than air and 75 times lighter than Styrofoam. “You can hold it,” Dr. Rainer Adelung told the Star. “Although it has almost no gravity.” Adelung and other scientists at the University of Kiel “never planned to make a record,” said Adelung. “Then we saw we could reach it.” Aerographite is four times Ni microlattices or the previous lightest material in the Earth. Adelung said that the material is quite tough. Aerographite is combination of opaque black carbon tubes that's flexible, waterproof, conducts electricity, and springs back to its original shape after being squashed. Adelung said that this new material can be good for batteries. He has his Institute for Material Science and the Hamburg University of Technology of Polymers and Composites are testing the material as part of super lightweight lithium ion batteries. “Our first experiments with lithium ion batteries show we have been able to send quite high currents through the material,” said Adelung. “This is holy grail that everyone is looking for: a micro battery. This looks very promising.” Cutting the weight of car batteries, for example, would improve their energy efficiency. Other potential uses: wearable computing, filtration and insulation. The German scientists also believe they are close to making something even lighter than aerographite, said Adelung. The new materials under construction in the Hamburg institute “are so lightweight you can’t really weigh them.” If this can be developed into batteries, then this can revolution energy production. It can lowered energy costs and it can help society greatly. Also, many folks have said that Ronald Reagan ended the Cold War. Is this true? According to William Blum, the Soviet totalitarian policies caused the Soviet Union to be doomed. Reagan's policies was an addition to the trend of the Soviet Union ending their empire. Soviet GDP AND military expenditures were both falling BEFORE Reagan took office. Reagan's "surging military budgets" changed nothing in Soviet economic behavior. Also, nonviolent actions in Eastern Europe contributed to the fall of the Soviet Union as well. Many people in those movements were democratic socialists that risked their lives in order for society to end Communism in the Soviet Union. So, the fall of the USSR is complex. The Cold War ended by a collaboration of people, not just the actions of one President (who condemned the policies in Eastern Europe, but he supported dictatorships in Latin America, Turkey back then, and other nations. He also supported Islamic extremists in Afghanistan). .
There are other lies that reactionaries use. One of their biggest lies is that the recession in 1982 was solely Jimmy Carter's fault. Now, the recession came about in the second year of Reagan's term following tax cuts and deregulation. Reagan was in office by January of 1981. He passed a budget that had supply side tax cuts. The budget was enacted in 1982. Reagan imposed a moratorium on all new federal regulation enforcement that moment he took office. The Reagan administration slashed current federal regulations and it cut the Federal Register nearly in half by 1986. 1982 had a -2.2 percent growth. By 1982, there were huge cuts in the capital gains tax. From 1978 to 1982,the top rate on capital gains was cut from 39 to 20 percent. The top rate on unearned income fell from 70 to 50 percent (mirroring a similar rate cut in earned income). Jimmy Carter began deregulation. Carter regulated airlines, trucking, railroads, oil, and interest rates. This continued under Reagan. The recession began was when Chairman Paul Volcker cut the money supply in order to decrease the inflation in the USA. He did this in late 1979. He tightened the money supply again in 1981. This action resulted in the severe 1982 recession. When inflation came down again, Volcker flooded the economy with money and fueled the subsequent recovery. Tax and regulation policies didn't cause the recession, because Carter actually began reigning in the federal government. Reagan accelerated this trend for a year before the recession came about. Also, infrastructure growth by public growth has existed in America for centuries. It was Benjamin Franklin that launched the modern post office. George Washington funded national infrastructure projects. The New Deal, the fruit of mass struggles and the rise of the labor movement, provided a way where the elderly received health care, gave jobs to the jobless, and increased our standard of living for decades. Now, we have a war on terror. Not all human beings live in the same time, with the same opportunities, with the same economic situations, etc. Therefore, intervention is used in order to help those that need assistance legitimately. It isn't about forming dependencies permanently, but justice permanently. There is no need for torture and there is no need for unfettered capitalism either. These reactionaries always want to use God, Jesus, or the Bible as an excuse to advance their lies. The reality is that the concept of Jubilee (which forces people to pay off debts) isn't a representation of free market capitalism at all. The year of Jubilee allowed the land of Israel to be divided equally in perpetual allotments to its citizenry. Each family was to receive the equal share of the land. This occured every fifty years in order for everything to be restored to its original owner. Every man in Israel would return their former possessions to their previous owners. These actions aren't like Bank of America capitalism or even like Wall Street. These acts are a radical departure from Austrian economics. Jesus Christ is rather explicit on riches and the rich. He said that it's very hard for the rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. James said that the gold and silver will be gone. In fact, Jesus and the apostles were adamant defends of the poor, the oppressed, and the outcasts of the world. The super rich were heavily criticized in both Testaments including other religious texts. Obviously, it is unjust for corporations to promote poisons like GMOs and other deadly chemicals in the world. It is unjust to advocate discriminatory and suppression of human rights against a person because of their background. It is unjust to claim to love peace, but advocate cowardly drone attacks and covert war operations (under the sick, nefarious guise of promoting so-called "democratic values").
Now, we have issues in the world. New facts are coming about. The CCR or the Center for Constitutional Rights and the ACLU charge the United States with violation of international law and its own Constitution with the killing of 3 Americans citizens in Yemen. This transpired last year. “These deaths are connected to a broader program of targeted killing that, in our view, has no lawful basis,” said CCR lawyer Padiss Kebriaei. American-born cleric Anwar Aulaqi, his teenage son and an associate were never formally charged with any crime. This is a blatant war crime that isn't reported by FOX, CNN, ABC, CBS, CNN, and especially MSNBC. Michael Bloomberg never wants to get rid totally of the evil stop and frisk policy. He just want to negoitate reforms to the policy. Carl Dix is the founder of Stop Stop and Frisk. He said that NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants to gather up Black politicians and Black ministers to sit down and negotiate reforms to stop and frisk without its total elimination. Dix took part in the final day of a family vigil for Ramarley Graham, the unarmed Black teenager killed by police in his Bronx home in front of his family. Stop and frisk is not only a blatantly violation of the Fourth Amendment. It racial profiling African American citizens. With the evil photo ID laws, at least 500,000 eligible voters can't vote on Election Day. This is because the photo ID laws passed in 10 states will either restrict voters or not have enough time for people to adjust to the new stringent regulations. This number has been deduced from a report from the Brennan Justice Center. Keesha Gaskins is the co-author the report. She said that many of those affected: "...live more than 10 miles from an ID-issuing office” and “lack access to a vehicle.” The Black Belt South and Brown Belt areas bordering Mexico are “really graphic examples of where these problems” arise, said Gaskins..." Now, voting is fine, but it isn't enough. Historically, successful movements have always been a project of mass, grassroots action. The civil rights movement in the 1950's and the 1960's used voting drives, door to door communication, protests, legal fights, educational programs, business programs, boycotts, and a wide spectrum of action in order for the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act to be passed inside of America. Fannie Lou Hammer, Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, the males and the females in the Black Panther Party opposed President Johnson's war policies via grassroots efforts beyond just voting. This same action (mixed with our modern technological devices and modern techniques) can cause more changes to fight against poverty, fight against environmental degradation, and promote human rights for all people. Both parties have made parties that have nullified the U.S. Bill of Rights and especially international law with war, torture, drone attacks, and murder of American citizens inside of foreign lands even. The wild thing is that both parties try to justify these actions. Social and economic justice and opposition to U.S. military adventures abroad are concepts that are superior to the status quo. We know that the Republican reactionaries are false. Yet, we need to be careful not to accept the pristine corporate Democrat. This new corporate Democrat in our generation is more business friendly, less race-conscious, and reject political confrontation with evil. There should be self determination and an exposure of the current system in order for real reforms to come about in American society. Even Cynthia McKinney was defeated by the relatively new Democrat Denise Majette. The sister Denise deserves respect, so it's not the sister's fault. It's about a political system that tries to suppress voices from the Sister Cynthia McKinney in order for radical solutions to not come about. Even the pro-Democratic Moveon.org harbor hatred of the former Black Panther Charles Barron. Now, the lesser of two evils is still evil.
Syria is known by many in the world. Russia's Putin doesn't want a war with others, but he wants to be prepared if a huge war develops in Syria. Syria is in a civil war. There is explosive tensions in the Middle East. The West and NATO desire a more confrontation approach with the Syrian leadership. Putin desires a negotiated settlement in order for the Syrian civil war to end. Putin therefore is seeking direct diplomacy with the Syrian government and the so-called opposition Syrian National Council. Turkey's regime is having a refugee issue as well, because many Syrians are coming into Turkey to escape the heinous violence of the civil war. Even Putin is trying to have diplomacy with Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, because he believes that if the rebels win in Syria (Syria could be run by pro-Muslim Brotherhood factions that don't like the Israeli government at all). Syria has imperfections, but it is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious nation. President Bashar Al-Assad is an Alawite Muslim. He married a Sunni wife. The Alawite sect is an offshoot of Shia Islam (It doesn't force their women to wear head scarves and are more liberal by Sunni standards). Some Sunni Islamic nations like Saudi Arabia have women forbidden to even a hold a driver's license. Now, Syria has Alawites, Druze, Kurds, Armenian Orthodox Christians and Sunnis. If the rebels win, Syria's power will mostly be controlled by the pro-Sunni Muslim Brotherhood factions. Gajendra Singh is an expert on Middle Eastern politics. He is a retired Indian diplomat and worked in the Middle East for decades. He knows about the ethnic diversity of Syria. He said that if the Alawite power was gone, then a slaughter could thousands of people. Singh estimates, “A defeat of Assad led regime will lead to slaughter of Alawites, Shias, Christians, even Kurds and Druzes. In all, 20 % of a population of 20 Million.” The Muslim Brotherhood dominates the Syrian National Council. The armed opposition Free Syrian Army ahve done war crimes and have terrorists in their ranks. Russia and China don't want a large war. They want to use even ships to guard their port in the Middle East. Many mercenaries travel from Turkey into Syria to participate in the Civil War. So, Putin advances the six point Annan plan. This plan wants all sides to end the fighting and come to a negotiated settlement under the influence of the United Nations. To sort out fact from fiction inside Syria is daunting as media are limited and opposition spokesmen have been repeatedly caught lying about events. In one recent instance, a UK journalist claimed he was deliberately led into a potential death trap by rebel opposition forces to score propaganda against the Damascus regime. The UK Channel 4 News’s chief correspondent, Alex Thomson, told AP that Syrian rebels set him up to die in no man’s land near the Lebanese border, saying they wanted to use his death at the hands of government forces to score propaganda points. And in one brazen example of political manipulation, BBC was recently caught publishing a photograph it claimed was of a massacre at Al-Houla on 25 May 2012, in which 108 persons are known to have died including 49 children. It turned out the picture had been taken by Italian photo journalist, Marco Di Lauro in Iraq in 2003. This plan wants humanitarian aide in the region. It has other common sense reforms that is better than the Western goal for Syria. Putin has some leverage in Turkey since Turkey is the 2nd largest buyer of Russian natural gas and some 80 percent of its natural gas comes from the Russian state controlled Gazprom. Oil flows in Eurasia as well. If NATO attacked Libya, they can attack Syria in an unjust fashion. Imperialists are still among us. Syria is one of their new battlefields. They want to get rid of Assad in order for the elite to bring in a malleable puppet to rle the nation of Syria.
It's a historical fact that radical disarmament against citizens have caused tyranny in society. There is debate on Article 15 of the UN's Arms Trade Treaty. Some folks believe that this provision can allow guns to be potentially confiscated in America. Article 15 of the UN Arms Trade Treaty mentions that if ratified provides for foreign “assistance to implement the Treaty,” and mandates that nations who can provide requested support must do so if requested by member nations. That includes legal, financial, technical as well as “material” assistance to enforce a treaty that declares “recreational, cultural, historical and sporting activities” to be the “exclusively” recognized reasons for lawful private ownership, and which further recognizes the “inherent rights” of the State (i.e. nations under the treaty) to self-defense, but makes no mention of the rights of the individual. In other words, Article 15 gives nations the right to allow other nations to give them assistance in handling arms curtailment. It's a reality that the Second Amendment will not be gone anytime soon, because of many reasons. Yet, militarized drills have occurred all over America. One example is the 2010 Operation Vigilant Guard. This exercise was a joint training exercise in Chicago. U.S. troops drilled with Eastern bloc troops to partner in order to stop terrorism (including the dealing with meth dealers and WMDs plus gun confiscation). Now, there has been similar exercises that have taken place on U.S. soil that related to similar joint operations for a martial law occupation with the participation of foreign troops. Now, it's a historical fact that some American troops were ordered to have door to door gun confiscation sweeps after Hurricane Katrina. Later, at least one unit stood down and refused the order. Other carried out the unconstitutional mission. Other exercises trained American soldiers for gun seizures along with other martial law measures. It's another historical fact that the UN forcibly disarmed a number of African nations via foreign troops. This action contributed to genocides and atrocities. Rwanda's genocide was a product of forcible disarmament and other reasons. The Republic Magazine proved that the mass murder done by the government-aligned Hutu tribal militias were against the Tustsis. The Tustsis were disarmed with the assistance of the UN peacekeeping forces under the supervision of the future UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Disarmament has occurred in Darfur, Sudan and Myanmar (or Burma). Armed troops even burned down homes and killed children in order to use force to evict some 40,000 Ugandans on the basis of conserving lands to fight climate change. Disarmed populations and genocides go hand in hand. According to R.J. Rummel of the University of Hawaii, he estimated that more than 262 million unnatural deaths in the 20th century were done by the government (or democide). Extremists have always stole weapons from innocent people in order to create a dictatorship from Nazi Germany to Stalin's Russia. This transpired in Turkey, Armenia, and all around the world. So, there are alternatives to the UN Arms Trade Treaty.

A Long Debate with a Reactionary
Note by Me: This reactionary is really slick and exposed his true card. He lied and called Hitler a socialist, denied that Reagan funded Saddam, and he believes that all blacks must accept the tenets of the Tea Party movement. Here are some of my refutations of this man. My words are in bold. He was slick since he said that he isn't a racist, but he deleted his comments about claiming that Palestinians aren't equal to Israelis (which is racism blatantly). Later, he became angry and used ad hominem attacks. In many times, when someone is refuted, they use ad hominem attacks. He talked about capitalism when cartel-capitalism is responsible for imperialism and the Maafa. He tries to make me support a documentary with a man named Glen Beck (who called the Katrina victims scum and Beck disrespected the children of the White House, which is cowardly. He had to apologize when this coward got caught). He tried to intimidate a smart Sister (whose Youtube name of "SuperBlackWoman1"), because this Sister was refuting this man left and right, but it didn't work on the Sister. This tactic won't work one me. See, these types of people are trying to brainwash people of color (especially blacks) to accept their lies, but it isn't going to work.

We celebrate The 4th of July and Independence Day. These holidays are for all American's. They do not discriminate like Black History Month does.

A social democratic revolution have some good parts as admitted by Dr. King. Hitler was never a socialist. He brought socialists in concentration camps to be killed. He believed in select corporations to handle the economy of the Nazis. That isn't socialism. The Nazis shut down unions, killed minorities, and executed Communists as well. The Nazis supported economic inequality and use propaganda. That isn't socialism either. That's fascism. Oligarchy is more linked to monarchy than socialism.

A black person learning about their black identity within a month has nothing to do with discrimination. It's about affirming one's heritage. There are months celebrating Hispanics, women, and folks of other backgrounds. Yet, you don't complain about those months. We know why you complain about Black History Month. Every black person has the right to respect their ethnic identity and promote more black families to flourish in the world. Americans exists, but we shouldn't follow blind patriotism.

A black person who lives in america and is an american citizen can not and will not find their identity within black history month. The only thing it does is promote discrimination and further separation of all Americans. I do complain about any other months that celebrate anything other than America's heritage. Other countries are not expected to devote months to other heritages.
Who is "we"? Tell me exactly why I complain about black history month.
Who is "we"? Tell me exactly why I complain about black history month.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 1 week ago
Any black person can find history, culture, and insight within black history month all of the time. A month that allows people to learn about culture, gender, and ethnicity without malice has nothing to do with discrimination. If that's the case, you can't have Mexican restaurants or Caribbean food stores. We is in reference to those who advocate the elimination of ethnic appreciation (or the racism is nearly dead types). You complain since you want blacks to be malleable, docile Americans.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 1 week ago
There are many ways to enjoy and learn about culture without devoting a whole month to it. It is very evident what you think of me, without even knowing me. I want all Americans, no matter their race or background or heritage to be proud to be an american and to want to succeed. We have advantages that no other countries have and yet these freedoms keep being taken away from us. You can pretend I'm the one who is racist, although we both the truth. So what's the point?
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 1 week ago
Where did I say that you are racist. You are putting words in my mouth. I said that you have a certain position. You are entitled to that position. I have a right to disagree with you. Yes, you can learn about cultures, genders, and backgrounds for a year, but we have a history in this country that omitted my people's cultural history. That is why a month is made for various backgrounds in order for society to acknowledge contributions. People should respect the legitimate parts of America.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 1 week ago
You have made it very clear what you think of me without having to say the words. Don't play innocent. You do not seem to get that when you live in America, you become American. You are free to remember and respect your ancestors all you want. But it is not a part of American history. It is not a part of who we all are as a nation. Without american solders of all backgrounds defending our freedom we would not have thee rights you now abuse. You should respect the solders who died to give u this.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 1 week ago
LOL. I guess I must be the heretic since I reject jingoistic patriotism.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 1 week ago
You are unbelievable. First you demand that all Americans should learn about your customs and heritage through Black history month. Then you turn around and bash and refuse anything to do with the country in which you live. Being patriotic and being thankful for the people who died, so that you have the right to be able to voice your idiotic opinions, is not jingoistic. You enjoy all of the rights we have, but refuse to acknowledge why we have them. That's not heresy, it's treason.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 1 week ago
Tons of American leaders and heroes offered even controversial critiques of American society. These critiques weren't treasonous nor invalid. I didn't say all Americans should agree with Black History month. I said that it had a right to exist. I didn't bash the USA. I say that good aspects and imperfections exist in America. Worshipping a nation unconditionally is jingoistic. I have my rights, because of many reasons. It isn't treason to have an opinion that is contrary to the status quo.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 1 week ago
How does any holiday or "history month" in this case, have a right to exist. Are we to hand out rights to inanimate objects as well? Imperfections exist in America because because people like you want to change EVERYTHING. Black History month as well as Hispanic history month and any other history type holidays were created by evil politicians who wanted to look good to get your vote. I never said I worshiped the U.S. I only worship God. I am thankful to the people who died giving me freedom.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 6 days ago
Holidays and various months have the right to exist via laws, policies, declarations, and other methods. It's not a big deal. These celebrations relate to human beings not inanimate objects. Imperfections exist in America, because of oppression, discrimination, etc. People like me want to change everything evil in the world, yes. I want the world to be better via radical changes. Many decent, reasonable people agree with these types of months not exploitative politicians. My vote is my vote.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 6 days ago
Holidays exist for various reasons. Black and Hispanic history month exist because people like you don't understand what being an American is. To be American there is no race or color. Everyone is equal. You want special rights and celebrations of things that have nothing to do with America. Imperfections exist because you wont open your eyes to the truth. No one is oppressing you. You are doing it to yourself by segregating yourself from the rest of America.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 5 days ago
Cultural and ethnic identities exist in the world. Colorblindness is fantasy as proven by Sir Isaac Newton and mainstream scientific scholars. Varying Melanin levels in humans can be documented. Everyone is equal and I don't want special rights. I want justice. You just want the social safety net to be nearly eliminated. I don't segregate myself from the rest of America. Oppression against my people have been documented before you were born. To deny that is foolishness.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 4 days ago
People have been oppressed since the beginning of time. Saying "My people" only unites yourself to the devotion and well being of one group or race of people. Therefore you are segregating. You stand up and defend the people of whom you belong to because of the color of your skin is the same. What about all of the other people who have suffered? What about the ones who suffer now. It's bewildering how you can feel so strongly for "your"people and continue to let them be lied to by the government.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 4 days ago
Lying to the government? The war on terror and the economic globalization (promoted by reactionaries) promoted huge lies in world society. Also, there is no evidence that trickled down economics (which is a huge aspect of reactionary thinking) can end poverty once and for all.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 3 days ago
I meant the government is lying to the average black person in America. And that you seem all for it. Did you even watch this video? You keep putting it down then you turn around and quote the same ideals. You are truly a puzzle.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 3 days ago
I watched the video. The government isn't perfect and it should be reformed (not privatized completely). Also, this video wants blacks to be collectively conservatives or Republicans (and falsely said that blacks who are non-conservatives are stuck in some mental plantation, which is offensive, ignorant terminology). The government has been infiltrated by corporate interests. I disagree with the video not calling for universal health care, an end to the war on terror, and a pro-poor policy.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 2 days ago
The government will never be perfect. It is only useful when it is limited. There are black communities who choose to be poor and collect money from the government in anyway they can so they do not have to work. I'm guessing you don't live in California. These people keep each other down by lying to themselves that all white people hate them and are against them. (I am not saying only black people do this.) You are blind if you don't see that the government promotes this.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 2 days ago
I don't live in CA. I live in VA, but tons of blacks in California are real and are determined to make solutions. Also, to stereotype blacks in California as hating all white people and claiming that all of them are against them is silly. You can expose white racism and white supremacy without blaming all whites for all ills in the world. The government now is infiltrated by special interests not the people. If the people ruled the government for real, then we'll see improvements here.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 2 days ago
I never said all black people in California hate white people. I never said black people were the only ones to abuse the system either. But there is a large number of black people (as well as other races) who live off of welfare and the system in California. Stating this fact does not mean I'm stereotyping. Pretending this is not a problem, doesn't make it go away. You act as though there are no black people who are racist as well. I agree that the people should rule the government.
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 2 days ago
I don't believe that a large number of people abusing the welfare system. I think it's a minority. Welfare should be reformed to eliminate fraud without its total elimination. Problems exist across socioeconomic levels not just in the poor. There are corporate welfare, tax breaks, and other forms of crony capitalism (among the super rich that ought to be address). Some black people are prejudiced, but not in the level of white supremacy. You can't refute that at all.
TruthSeeker24in reply to meathrander(Show the comment) 1 day ago
Of course you don't believe me. You have been so brainwashed that it will be next to impossible to deprogram you. Why don't you come and live in California, instead of your perfect little community, for a while. You will see first hand just how many people abuse welfare. People have grown so dependent on it they would not survive without it. It's sad. If capitalism is so evil, why did it survive longer than any other system ever. It never killed people by the thousands like socialism. (Cont.)
meathranderin reply to TruthSeeker24(Show the comment) 1 day ago
I don't believe, because your philosophy has been refuted. Unfettered capitalism has failed. California is multifaceted with plenty of decent human beings. My community has strengths and I am not ashamed of my community. Some people abusing welfare doesn't represent a majority of folks on welfare. The answer to to much dependency is economic justice not austerity. Modern capitalism existed for a few centuries. Also, alternatives like a mixed economy are successful as well.

His racist remark about Palestinians:
Palestinians do not want to share. They want to concur and build an empire. You may know good Palestinians that live in America, as do I. But, over there they do terrible things. A week or two ago a student in Iran was caught with a beer in her hand. They arrested her, she was in prison 6 days. They gave her 80 lashes and 7 of the guards raped her 29 times. Where's the outrage? These Palestinians are not "Reactionary's" they are evil, rapists, and killers. Obviously, you know nothing about this

Here are my other words that this reactionary couldn't refute at all.
Reagan was a mediocre Hollywood actor and he was an excellent actor as President. Reagan destroyed one union, caused the poverty rate to increase massively in his first team, was involved in funding the terrorist Contras, and hundreds of his own administration folks were accused of corrupt acts. Also, you biased against any dissent about Republicans is telling. Reagan was a hypocrite by claiming to be conservative, but he raised taxes plenty of times and he spent a lot of money.

I research all of the time, so you shouldn't question that at all. Reagan was for the establishment and he was a member of the occult Bohemian Grove. We know what works and what doesn't. In a heterogeneous, complex society like America, we know that a mixed economy works best in America. We now that anarchy (that some Tea Party extremists advocate as in anarcho-capitalism) doesn't work. Quasi-socialistic nations in N. Europe have worked like Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.

My statements about Reagan haven't been proven wrong. It's a fact that Reagan once supported Saddam with WMDs. It's a fact that Reagan support the Mujaheddin (which evolved into al-Qaeda). It's a fact that Reagan supported the liberty crushing Mulford Act in 1967. It's a fact that Reagan claims to be some hero, but demonized anti-war protesters exercising their First Amendment rights. So, yes, Ronald Reagan's card has been pulled by real people for years.

Problems exist in the economic because financial elites used a policies of radical globalization, radical deregulation, financial speculation, and other policies. The debt increased because of the war on terror, and other policies. Also, debt increased across administration (not just in our current President's time). This situation existed before President Obama. I know a lot of our economy. You have an pseudo intellectual condensing attitude. Welfare can work when it's used properly.

Now, I don't play innocent in my endeavor. I show the deck of the reality of society. I never mentioned that you are racist, but I do believe that you are mistaken on one issue. Being American is being American. It doesn't make me superior to others living in foreign lands. Yet, black history in this country related directly to America's history since it shows the triumphs and errors in America. I don't abuse my rights by showing my free speech rights.
