Thanksgiving Eve News.

President Biden said that Israel and Lebanon agreed to a proposal to end the conflict with Hezbollah in a ceasefire. The ceasefire was approved by the Israeli security cabinet. There has been more than a year of cross-border conflicts between Israel and Iranian-backed Hezbollah. President Biden said that the deal was created to permanently cease hostilities. This comes after Beirut's southern suburbs have been bombed 20 times in 2 minutes on Tuesday. The Hamas and Israel war exists now with death being over 44,200 people according to the Palestinian health ministry. The ceasefire should exist, but the conflict in Gaza should end too along with the freeing of all hostages. The Biden administration is still negotiating between Israel and Hamas to end the conflict. We all want peace, but it must be a real peace where the Arabic and Jewish people in the Middle East have justice and equality without occupation too.

Trump wants a radical tariff policy to advance a new 25% across-the-board tariff on all goods the U.S. imports from its neighbors (being Canada and Mexico). This comes nearing a possible trade war. Trump believes in a reactionary isolationism that has no place in our modern 21st-century society. If this tariff is made into existence, the price of gas, food, and other supplies may radically go up. This comes after corporate profits have been at an all-time high in recent years. Trump has promoted the nomination of Scott Bessent. Bessent spoke at the Manhattan Institute (which is a conservative think tank) to promote tax cuts, cuts to social programs, and promote the Wall Street agenda status quo. Many of Trump's proposed cabinet members are billionaires whose worth is a combined $313 billion. Elon Musk is supportive of Trump. Musk's father said that Elon's maternal grandparents were in the Nazi party in Canada and moved to South Africa because they supported the apartheid regime.

North Carolina GOP lawmakers vote to strip the incoming Democratic leaders' powers. This is so blatantly anti-democratic, but the GOP doesn't care. They only care about gaining and maintaining power representative of the 18th century, not in the 21st century. They hide behind religion to justify their hate-mongering agenda, but in true religion and true spirituality, the Golden Rule reigns supreme over injustice. The GOP in North Carolina wants to strip much of the powers of the incoming Democratic governor Josh Stein and the Attorney General. The legislation wants to strip the authority to appoint members to the state's election board to the state auditor, an office held by Republican Dave Boliek. The legislation would shorten the time for voters to fix ballot errors and require counties to count ballots more rapidly. The law was written behind closed doors. Moral Mondays leader Rev. William Barber III will protest this in the state legislature by December 9, 2024.

There is many political news now. Trump is the first incoming president not to sign the federal transition funding agreement. That means that he can potentially raise unlimited amounts from wealthy donors for his Presidential transition and keep their identities secret. This is not about draining the swamp, but it is about having the corporate powerbase intact. There have been 160,000 pounds of ground beef being recalled nationwide due to possible E. coli contamination. This recall involves over 100 products and numerous brands, all processed by one meat packer. This is why monopolization is a problem as it can make our food more expensive, lack real regulations, and leave us vulnerable to health risks. Louisiana lawmakers have passed income and corporate tax cuts which will raise statewide sales tax to pay for it. This is wrong to give middle-class, working-class, and poor people in Louisiana to pay for that tax cut as trickledown economics doesn't work at all.

The common lie is that Trump will have nothing to do with the Project 2025 agenda. Now, Donald Trump has picked Project 2025 architect Russell Vought to lead the Office of Management and Budget. During Trump's first term, Vought crafted budget proposals that recommended Social Security and Medicare cuts. Project 2025 views are always in sync with the MAGA agenda. We have 87 million low-wage and poor Americans, and 30 million of them didn't vote. The reason is that many in the establishment refuse to promote living wages federally, adequate health care, and other important issues that people care about. The federal minimum wage being $7.25 is blatantly immoral and many people die from poverty everyday. You can't allow America to reach into highest heights of glory without addressing poverty in an adequate, comprehensive fashion.
