Our times prove that grassroots organizing can work in modern day society. The people in Minneapolis inspired more of the public to oppose the excessive actions of ICE (many of whom have lax experience in dealing with crowd control and law enforcement activities in general), the kidnapping of even U.S. citizens, and other injustices in the world. Now, the Department of Justice is starting a civil rights investigation into the murder of Alex Pretti. Greg Bovino has been removed from his commander at large position in Minneapolis to be replaced by border czar Tom Homan (he said that he wants to de-escalate the situation and decrease the number of agents, but ICE completely should leave Minneapolis). Even seven Senate Republicans joined all Senate Democrats in voting to block the spending bill for the Department of Homeland Security. Public pressure has caused people to resist authoritarianism in American society. People have demonstrated nationwide. There was a recent national shutdown on Friday, January 30, 2026. The protesters include families, children, and people from all walks of life coming together to stand up for the dignity and humanity of their neighbors, irrespective of their immigration status. The truth is that us black people and immigrants built up America. We have to continue in this long walk for freedom, so evil can be vanished.

The 2026 Grammy Awards have been historic in many ways. It is the last Grammys on CBS as they will move into ABC next year in 2027. Aura V made history as the youngest individual Grammy winner to date. The father and daughter singing Fyutch and Aura V take home the Grammy for Best Children's Music Album with Harmoney. This is a rare win at the Grammys. During this Black History Month, tons of black people won awards too. Kendrick Lamar and SZA won Record of the Year and Melodic Rap Performance for the song Luther (in honoring the music icon Luther Vandross). Olivia Dean from the United Kingdom won Best New Artist. FKA Twigs won Dance/Electronic Album for Eusexua. Kehlani won R&B Performance and R&B song for Folded. Durand Bernarr won Progressive R&B album for Eusexua. Kendrick Lamar won Rap Song and Rap Album of the Year for GNX. Samara Joy won Jazz Vocal Album for Portrait. Jon Baptist won Americana Album for Big Money. CeCe Winans and Shirley Ceasar won Gospel Performance for Come Jesus Come. Tyler the Creator won Best Album cover for Chromakopia. Darrel Walls and PJ Morton won Gospel Album of the Year for Heart of Mine. Tyla won African Music Performance for Push 2 Start. Cythnia Ervio and Ariana Grande won Pop Duo album for Defying Gravity. Leon won R&B Album and Best Traditional Performance. Clipse, Pusha T, and Kendrick Lamar won Rap Performance or Chains and Whips. Shaboozey and Jelly Roll won Country Duo for Amen. Buddy guy won Traditional Blues for Aint Done with the Blues. The host of the Grammys was Trevor Noah who criticized Trump and Nicki Minaj. Bad Bunny's Debi Tirar Mas Fotos won Album of the Year. It is the first Spanish language LP to take the award. Bad Bunny said that immigrants are not illegal or animals. They are human beings deserving the same respect as anyone else. About 15,000 people voted in the Grammy Awards. Many musicians supported the immigrants and opposed the actions of ICE members. Justin Bieber performed. Also, Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean performed a song in tribute to the late Roberta Flack and John Forte. Cher announced the song of the year too. Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas won Song of the Year for Wildflower. Golden from KPop Demon Hunters won Best Song Written For Visual Media, being the first K-pop song to win a Grammy Award in any category. Steven Spielberg won Best Music Film for his role in producing Music by John Williams.

One of the most important news is the more release of the Epstein files. We know of a picture of Prince Andrew knelling near a woman in a bizarre picture. Trump's name appears in an unverified tip sent to the FBI and handwritten notes taken during an interview with a victim. The files show Howard Lutnick, the commerce secretary and longtime Trump friend arranged to visit Epstein's island in the Caribbean. Lutnick told the New York Times that he never met Epstein before hanging up. Steve Bannon, a top Trump strategist, corresponded extensively with Epstein according to the files. Much of the documents have been redacted Jay Z, Harvey Weinstein, and Pusha T were mentioned in the Epstein files. This doesn't mean that Jay Z and Pusha T are guilty of any wrongdoing. Their names are mentioned as part of a claim that Jay Z had consistently denied. Both Clinton has agreed to testify before Congress. Millions of files have been released. Many Epstein victims have said that it doesn't go far enough. The truth is that anyone involved in such evil should be prosecuted and sent into prison after due process of the law.

The Trump administration has gone out of his way to target election integrity. First, he promotes the lie that the 2020 election was stolen. Trump wants mail in voting banned. Now, he desires to nationalize the elections to allow the federal government to control all functions of the election. That is illegal as state and local governments have the legal power to control their own state and local elections. Also, the federal government have seized voting records in Georgia being supported by the notorious sellout and Judas Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard was once in favor of many things. Now, she has changed to be in league with the far right MAGA movement like the other sellout Robert Kennedy Jr. Noem wants Minnesota to send their voting rolls to the Trump regime in order to end the ICE occupation of Minneapolis. This is purely fascist. Many MAGA people have promoted the lies of non-citizens voting en masse, the replacement theory, and other deceptions to gain supporters and advance bigotry plus oligarchy in American society.

Nicki Minaj is a sellout for many reasons. She supports Donald Trump. Trump is the person who said perverted comments about his own daughter, caught saying racist statements for years, and promote anti-democratic policies (like trying to nationalize elections, desiring mail in ballots to be banned, wants to ban birthright citizenship, and disrespected protesters and progressive black people as having "low-IQ"). Nicki Minaj tries to justify supporting an extremist and habitual liar Trump by talking about Jesus Christ. It is the height of blasphemy to try to invoke Jesus Christ in trying to justify unconditional support of Donald Trump. Jesus Christ gave empathy and compassion to the poor. Trump supports austerity and eliminating federal funds to blue states based on politics. Jesus Christ told a story about showing dignity to the sojourner or to the immigrant, but Trump justifies giving ICE agents immunity when many ICE agents have been caught killing U.S. citizens, assaulting human beings, and violating basic 4th Amendment rights constantly. Jesus Christ condemned economic exploitation, but Trump supports laws giving record tax breaks to the super wealthy while poor, middle class, and working class Americans struggle in our world. It is ironic that Nicki Minaj is an undocumented immigrant, but Trump wants undocumented immigrants to be all deported. Trump said that any Jewish person who doesn't support him is disloyal, he has allowed military memorial to honor black soldiers to be omitted (from the Margraten American Cemetery in the Netherlands), Trump has banned many legitimate environmental and safety regulations, and he desires to illegally annex Greenland in the form of overt imperialism. Nicki omits this, because she is part of the MAGA cult. Nicki Minaj tries to call some celebrities pedophiles, but she supported his brother, who is a convicted pedophile. Nicki Minaj's husband has been accused of a sexual crime. The racism, xenophobia,  sexism, and bigotry supported by Trump and his acolytes have no place in the Universe. Therefore, we don't need to follow the views of sellouts like Nicki Minaj. We need to follow truth and justice for all people instead.
